actually no not at all. i didn’t even realize that until now 👀

i kinda wanted their color pallets to all stay similar to the colors that really make each character stand out like jesse’s green suspenders, lukas’ magenta shirt, and petra’s red hair.

jesse’s design is based off your classic hero look with the onesie and the cape. the straps around his suit are supposed to represent the suspenders, and they, along with his eyes, are the only parts of him that glow. his colors are supposed to be calm and comfortable, yet dark and intimidating to look at because his admin self is honestly pretty sad. he’s eternally grumpy and wearing a smile is rare for him, so the colors also represent his gloomy mood. (he’s absolutely in no way evil though he’s still the same happy little jesse we know and love, it’s just very hard for him to take on positive feelings while in this form)

lukas’ design is supposed to look like someone of high authority. he’s a leader after all, and i wanted his design to be so anyone who takes a look at him knows he must be a person of high caliber. kind of imagine a pokemon antagonist and how they’re always decked out in attire that kinda makes you think like oh yeah that must be the boss, meanwhile look at all the grunts and they wear something similar, just not as ✨extra✨. yeah like that’s kind of what i had in mind for lukas, but instead of his magenta, i gave him purple because i personally really feel like purple is a powerful color. he’s the most like his original self compared to petra and jesse and he’s far more capable of staying calm and collected. also a good boy. looks intimidating but has the sweetest smile and the softest distorted laugh.

petra is… far more unhinged. her design is not entirely based off of her original appearance, but more around the energy and emotion she gives off. i kinda had a volcano in mind for her because it’s easy to spark a fuse in her and she can erupt and explode at any time really. she’s the most chaotic of the three, and if you read the details of jesse and lukas’ admin experience, petra’s is far less happy. she absolutely had to deal with becoming an admin all alone, and while that does sound sad for her, it’s honestly for the better. she would have been too worried about her appearance being so similar to romeo’s if she were around anyone else, and she gets to cope with that realization by herself and in a way that is honestly much better for her. like she goes down into a massive cave and destroys everything lol. uses her powers to destroy so much and take out all of her anger and aggression on mobs and her surroundings. she’s actively exploding, and once she gets it all out, she feels much better and theeen gets to really sit down and think it all over and cope with this newfound identity crisis

but yeah no the similar themes/pallets to the original admins was a complete accident 💀

i think you’re forgetting that till got to top 2 on his own merits even with his rebellious personality and him literally running away from attempts to market him. he dropped heavily from the rankings for killing freddie the alien guitar and STILL managed to make a comeback, only losing to the previous champion. saying that he “only won because ivan threw his round” is such an insult to his skills. i don’t deny that ivan’s sacrifice secured till’s victory, but that doesn’t mean till isn’t a strong competitor in his own right. ivan’s stunts definitely hindered his own score, but that doesn’t change the fact that till still got 89. im not arguing that till will beat luka, im just thinking you’re underestimating till

Oh I completely agree that Till has a very good chance under normal circumstances, but. Till stopped singing before Ivan threw his mic to the ground and started assaulting him to distract the audience—us and the aliens—from that, so I think it's pretty clear that Till was trying to lose (or at least not trying to win) and probably wouldn't have gotten such a high score if Ivan didn't cause a distraction, because the aliens would definitely have noticed that he wasn't singing. Like I said in the tags of the post, I think Till's singing is obviously very good in the song, I just think Till was also very obviously engaging in passive suicide by making it clear he's not trying to win (I'd argue he was actively trying to lose by stopping his singing before the song is over).

That's why I said the only way he won was because Ivan threw his round—not because he didn't have enough skill and charisma by himself, but because he had disengaged from the performance by literally not singing, and the aliens would've noticed & punished him for it if Ivan didn't flip from "obedient show dog" to "rabid dog" on stage. (Again, to be clear, the "rabid dog" comparison is from the aliens' perspective; we, the human audience, have access to their interiority and care about them for more than their function as performers.)

(That said, the audience in-universe did not notice Till stopped singing, so you're right that alien audiences would've anticipated a closer fight than what I've said in the tags I assume you're responding to. I do think the win would be complicated by the fact that imo quite a lot of aliens in both camps see it as an unsatisfying win? For Ivan fans obviously, but for in-universe Till fans, their boy's win is gonna be tainted by "his opponent went crazy and attacked him." I'd imagine in-universe fans are having similar discussions to what we're having now, which is completely intentional—it's pretty obvious that ALNST is a critique of the irl idol industry/elimination style tournaments, and we're intended to be the aliens in this scenario, albeit ones who have some access to their inner lives.)

Now onto Till vs Luka. I think we all want Till to beat Luka, or at least put up a good fight, but. Will Till really bounce back/regain his fire, or did Ivan's sacrifice only compounded the fact that he lost someone else, and that he'll keep losing—both in the sense that he'll keep losing people he cares about, and also in the sense that there's no real victory under this oppressive system? Given his actions in R6 (i.e. stop singing when the song is ongoing), I think Till's final rebellion would be a quiet thing—to just not perform from the start and refuse to give the aliens a show.

Tldr: Till is a very strong performer. I just also think Till would've lost in R6, not because he wasn't "good enough" in his own right, but because he disengaged from his performance in what would've been a pretty dang obvious way bc i think he just wanted an escape/wanted it to end.

Going into R7, I'm honestly not sure if Till even wants to 'put up a good fight' against Luka anymore, or if he'd rather be free and spite the system by denying aliens of what they wanted from him by not engaging at all. It'd be cool to see Till beat Luka, but I'm having trouble seeing how he'll do that: while he has the skills to at least come close, idk if he's in the right headspace to want that.

this is a long one but i really wanted to make a one and done post.

first, marinette and her sacrifices:

i think we’re having a (kinda poor) take on the “i don’t need a man to be happy” narrative by making marinette stop going after boys altogether.

(which lets be honest is sort of a good thing because she was a bit overboard with her crush/obsession/creeping over adrien. this will make her act more normal around him, which will make adrien love her for who she really is, as many of us have thought aloud already.)

what i don’t like is that its because she is forced to by her duties, not because she wants to. its okay for someone to want to take a break from dating but it should be because they feel like they need it. marinette really doesn’t want to, she’s such a romantic extroverted person, she really wanted to keep what she had with luka.

and what i think is making her extra miserable is that all her friends are now asking why she made that decision (”why was luka looking for the truth, where you lying to him? this is so unlike you marinette.., are you alright? you dont even trust us with your secret? seriously? how can we be your friends not even knowing when you’re lying and when not?”) and she cant answer why, because they cant know her secret either. so she has absolutely nobody but chat noir, and she only has him when shes ladybug.

marinette needs someone with whom she can talk freely about being everything that she is, but especially the superhero side. she needs a human person version of tikki, whom she can trust with all her secrets and feelings and worries. this is why i think we will see a lot of chat noir and ladybug being besties this season, bc she needs them to be.

finally the love square:

i think marinette will start liking chat noir, since he seems to be the only person who can actually relate to her. he’s the only person she can be her superhero self around.

adrien will be accused of lying by kagami, but i think not about free time like marinette, but about his feelings. she will not be as tolerant as luka was. she will be jealous and mad, and she will ask for adrien to make up his mind. adrien will of course tell the truth and tell kagami he doesnt love her like that (but of course he would love to stay friends bc thats just so adrien of him). kagami will not be ok with that.

this season might definitely be the season adrien starts to see marinette in a different light, he might feel conflicted because he still loves ladybug. (ce mur qui nous sépare anyone?) also think they might spend more time together. maybe gabriel lets her create things for him? maybe we finally get to see those chinese lessons adrien promised? maybe they are in the artistry club together? maybe he tutors her bc her grades go down? all i know is we will probably get some of adriens melodramatic-ass sighs and out-the-window stares with marinette in mind sometime soon.

and im just gonna predict/assume marinette will know adrien is chat noir by the end of this season. it feels like the right time if season 5 in intended to have the full reveal still. but if the seasons were stretched to fill the new schedule with the extra seasons, then it might be the finale of season 5 or 5A.

ok well since im Thinking about it now lemme just make a huge ass masterpost of my tmavrai au bc im stupid lmao (also i wanna get into using this blog for more than art since this is my main)

buckle up cowboys this is gonna be lengthy

ok so to start off, it’s a kind of fusion au. some tma characters are replaced with hlvrai characters, and some just exist on their own. for example, elias is replaced with gman, but jon and gordon both coexist together

speaking of jon and gordon, they’re both eye avatars and co-archivists of the magnus archives. gman fucked up a little bit while filing shit but its fine, its fine. they’re both fit for the job.

tommy, darnold, and coomer work at the institute in various departments, along with tim, martin, and barney. tim and tommy have been best friends for years and live together as roommates, and darnold’s another one of their closest friends. coomer and martin just chill there, and barney likes to talk to gordon a lot. tommy brings sunkist over a lot, who everyone loves

since his dad is basically the head avatar of the eye, tommy asked him one time how to make a dog and gman, because that’s his little boy, told him how. now there’s an immortal entity soup dog that’s way too big to be normal. but that just means she has more love in her :)

jon and gordon kinda tolerate each other at first, being forced to record in the same area, but they tend to... tune into each other a lot. they sometimes read statements in unison, even if one of them isn’t looking at the statement. they take turns speaking in dialogue parts if need be, and they dont really notice it.

eventually prentiss attacks and gordon notices something... off about their coworker benrey. wait- wasn’t his name barney? no, he was probably remembering wrong. but something about benrey is just... weird. he cant put his finger on it, and jon has no input. 

so yea benrey is a not-them and a stranger entity, and they just kinda chill in the archives and check ppls passports at the door. its also pretty fun harrassing feetman, especially when they can just pop in and out of michael’s doors bc they’re friends with the spiral. unknowing goes well, as you can assume ;w;

after they find gertrude’s body in the tunnels, several cops get called in. basira and daisy come over, supplying jon with tapes, but daisy brings her old high school/college friend forzen, who’s in the military. and yea they’re both hunt avatars. it was simple and obvious don’t blame me. he hunts ppl down by having beyblade competitions then shooting them. standard stuff.

tommy had gotten claimed by the slaughter years back, but now its really starting to take effect. coomer, local end avatar, isn’t much help, as he doesn’t exactly view death as a problematic thing and even compliments tommy on his kills. during jon and gordon’s comas, forzen goes rogue (instead of burying himself like daisy) and tommy goes after him, trying to mercy kill any victims he has his sights set on. its a body count contest at that point

bubby takes the place of agnes montegue, but still alive and not as hostile to the main cast. obv bc coomer’s there and i love me some gay grampas. yea bubby’s kinda forsaking his desolation cult thing but he’s fine. he just goes and chills at the archives a lot to get with coomer

after the unknowing, things go to shit. martin and benrey close themselves off, both allying themselves with peter lukas, to defend the institute and its workers. tommy and darnold are heartbroken after tim’s death, and tommy, unable to deal with living alone without tim or living in his dad’s house (who’s in prison now), moves in with darnold. its angst central babeyyy

darnold, basira, alyx, georgie, and melanie start a group chat called “babysitting the avatars squad” since they’re the only humans left allied to the institute or its workers. they vent about shit their avatars do bc good lord they can do some weird shit sometimes. oh also alyx and georgie are cousins here bc i feel like its funny that both gordon’s and jon’s childhood friends are related and no one knew dfgshgfgsfghgfrsbfsxg

for the last thing im gonna cover bc im tired and i dont want to type anymore is that joshua definitely exists and oh boy it gets fun in the apocalypse. he runs around and plays around with all the domains with tommy and benrey and the other three are way too tired to deal with this. he just wants to give daddy a flower! ignore the eyeball, it’s just a normal flower! how... sweet.

I Have Too Many Opinions. ep. 1

lmao. i got encouragement to post my opinions on fandom things and now i want to make a miniseries doing just that. so here i am. doing just that.

im putting it under the cut cuz this was 4 whole pages including the disclaimer. yes i put a disclaimer and i explain why.

Anyways, here is the first piece in what inevitably will become fandom info dump, this time on thomas astruc’s writing on miraculous ladybug. but only some of my opinions cuz we would be here all day otherwise.

So… a disclaimer before I begin… 

I do not hate Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir (yes i'm using their government name). I am quite a fan of the show actually despite its faults. I am also older than the intended audience but was obviously younger when the show first aired which is how my interest was piqued (the fact that its been 6 years and only 3 seasons says more about the show than me being a fan for that amount of time but also i never want to rush content creators cuz they're doing their best) and due to my age, there will be inherent bias in my approach of what i'm about to say as there is in EVERY opinion. The fact that it is an opinion should imply the presence of bias but most people tend to lack the critical thinking skills required to draw that conclusion ANYWAYS…

If I did hate the show I would not have this blog nor would I be even writing this because i tend to not give more than 2 seconds of thought to things i actively dislike (some of yall should give this a try) and i'm allowed to like things that are designed for an audience that i was originally a part of but grew out of. (I don't suddenly stop liking things because I'm older despite what many younger fans seem to believe about older audiences. I also don't need to be ‘allowed’ to do anything cuz i wasn't asking for permission anyways.)

This will not be character bashing, astruc bashing nor fandom bashing cuz, again, that would imply i hate any of those elements and if i did, i would not dedicate brainpower to them. Analyses and criticisms of media are fun and engaging and required if you wish to produce good enjoyable content. Now most of this should be already assumed and self-explanatory but people on the internet like to play morality roulette roll dice on purity culture and I rather have documentation that I am in fact not bullying fictional 14 year olds or a grown man. But alas, people get trigger happy whenever someone has less than 1000000% positive opinions on something they like and will throw out words they can't define (gaslight, baiting, toxic, problematic, gatekeep etc) in an attempt to defend their blind devotion, 

which is not needed, if you like something you never have to defend it, even if i don't like it. If you respond to anything I post saying you disagree with me, I will not argue with you. I won't debate back and forth and try to convince you that the things you like are wrong. Unless you are being absolutely tone deaf to what i'm saying, you wont get a negative reaction from me. So don't try to fish for a fight. Please. I got metaphorical hands for days and I'm mean, you don't want me hurting your feelings on the internet. Do yourself the favour. Difference of opinion is how we get diversification in media and is inherently a good thing. Now that that's out of the way, please don't ever let me have to say that again. I beg.

Now onto the fun stuff

I didn't know what I wanted as a first topic so my trusty internet friend @moonlitceleste suggested astruc’s writing… 

AND BOI do i got some opinions on ole tommy boi. Again I don't hate the dude. In fact, he has worked on a few shows that had defined my childhood, including but not limited to W.I.T.C.H. (all eps available on youtube for those interested, 2 seasons, general fun time all around).

So I don't think he’s scum of the earth but I do think his approach to writing mlb specifically has more misses than hits.

The first big miss is that he has no idea how to write 14 year old girls. At all. Almost every girl he has ever written feels like some terrible archetype built entirely for marketability and childish projection and pubescent self-insert (kind of). He has never been a 14 year old girl. I have. In fact when the show first aired, I WAS around the (assumed) age of the mlb characters. The behaviour he passes off as quirky or awkward or just the character’s genuine personality tend to perpetuate harmful stereotypes of teen girls found in the media and are never actually addressed as harmful. they just get swept under the rug. Marinette’s exuberant collage of teen heart throb model boi Adrien Agreste and her very painful almost fan worship she has of him (which flip flops like a paper sandal in the rain) being portrayed as a cute school girl crush uwu, Chloe being the y7 Regina George, Alya being the token best friend of colour with her ‘sassy’ personality (i want y'all to imagine me eyerolling so hard i bust a vessel in my eye), Kagami being the very damaging Perfect Asian Child stereotype. And before y'all get on your dusty soap box and defend going on about “BUT IT'S FOR CHILDREN”,,,, know this.

 i don’t give a solid fuck. 

Not one. 

Children arent stupid. Children are always going to remember the richy bitchy blonde who bullies the art kid, and the big kid, and the shy kid, and the non white kids, and was only nice to her equally rich white friend who she probably had a crush on or was only ever civil to her equally white lapdog. They're going to remember the half asian girl who was never allowed to actually be asian or the only black girl who existed solely as a soundboard for enabling bad habits or chastising the main character for the same habits she enables in the first place (boi aint THAT a topic for later). Like do i really need to explain that alya chastising marinette for taking max’s spot in gamer just to play with adrien rings absolutely hollow when she actively encourages her to sabotage the contest she’s in just so Kagami doesn't win?? Like I don't have to explain that right?? Again kids arent stupid and its quite something that Mari gets chastised for proving herself the best video game player regardless of her intentions just cuz it comes at the expense of max’s feelings/ego but is actively encouraged to sabotage not only kagami but herself by extension cuz kagami is ‘competition.’ Adrien is not a trophy to be won. And no I don't expect 14 yrs old to be perfect and to always make good decisions but these decisions are never addressed as being bad decisions. they get swept under the rug cuz those decisions were necessary for the ‘plot’ but astruc can barely keep characterization consistent and his characters suffer for it and it's the same children you preach are watching it that suffer as well. Cuz guess what? I KNOW 14 yr olds aren't like that cuz i've been there done that (this is the last time i'm saying that i promise) so I know astruc is just metaphorically throwing darts to figure out who says and does what without consideration for pre established personalities to drive the stalemate plot along. The same kids you say are watching this don't know that that's not how preteens work and will absorb and internalize those dynamics like baking soda and vinegar. Cata-fucking-strophically. 

And I haven't even gotten to the boys yet. Which honestly doesn't require much explanation anyways cuz they suffer the same fate as the girls. Tired archetypes with nothing to give them life. Nino falls into Adrien’s person of colour token best friend who dates the female lead’s person of colour token best friend so they can have cute double dates uwu. Except the plot goes nowhere and we have no inclination of romantic development beyond moments that only act to actively convince me to anti ship the lovesquare (i don't want to do that so i self indulge in fanon that actually cares about the characters and plot. may i interest you in True Sight on AO3?). Max is the residential nerd but it doesn't matter (cuz he and everyone are dumbed down for the sake of ‘plot’), kim is the sports jock (which interestingly subverts the asian comedic relief stereotype but only barely) and luka is cute older guy ™ that wears black nail polish and is in a band. The point of all this is to say there is no depth in the characters. It's especially blatantly obvious with the characters astruc doesn't like (chloe). Again, it being a show for kids is not an excuse to be absolved of putting effort into the characters you make.

This is one of the biggest misses astruc has. I haven't even gone into all the nuances of this particular miss. And i havent gone into how that works against him in the plot either. Mostly because the plot itself hasn't gone anywhere and partially because I wanted to go into the plot (or lack thereof) separately as its own miss. 

AND BOI is it a miss. 

SO home boy astruc wanted to reap the benefits of a serial show with ‘engaging’ plot without putting in any of the work to make a linear storyline and relying on the episodic format for, again, marketability. You can't have the best of both worlds, you are not Avatar: The Last Airbender. Which btw has a lot less episodes and a desired end goal that didn't involve top dollar. Legend of Korra did but that's not the point and it had its failings with that too. I challenge you, tell me how many episodes actually contribute towards a plot point or introduce new thematic elements to the show? Can you name them? That's 21 episodes. 21 out of a heaping 78 plus 2 specials. Everything else was just your typical akuma of the day episode and everything that happened outside that had no lasting consequences on the plot thanks to the miraculous status quo. Was it entertaining to watch Lila stir the plot of the class dynamic? Hell yeah. Too bad it meant nothing by the end of the episode cuz we were struck with miraculous status quo. She literally doesn't appear again until Heroes Day. that is from episodes 25 all the way to 51, she means nothing and yet she is treated with the severity of a b-villain/rival thing. She means nothing by the end of Volpina if I'm being honest. She is only relevant for 20 mins of episode time she’s in then it's back to magic status quo that undoes any shift in dynamics and relationships. It's like Spongebob who can't get his driver’s license. The worst part is I actually like Lila and I wish the story treated her with the seriousness we as an audience are expected to treat her with. Despite being painfully inconsequential by the end of each of the 3?? 4?? episodes she’s in, it's entertaining to watch a character create drama just because. 

Too bad it means nothing.

Astruc is constantly building up suspense to something ‘important’ only for it to not deliver and fans are constantly having the rug pulled out from under us. Oblivio teased us with a reveal only that gets undone cuz memory akuma. Chat Blanc teased us with romantic development but that gets undone cuz time travel bullshit. Feast introduced more miraculous lore and the history of the guardians but that means nothing by the next episode or ever (i'm not including any reference to the season 4 trailer cuz i've been around the block a few times and im familiar with this lil dancy dance). Heroes Day teased us with a possible future team of heroes but that gets undone in Battle of Miraculous cuz ????? why?? (here's why; astruc was having a jolly ole time letting us know how irredeemable Chloe is at the expense of shooting his own stagnant plot in the foot. Again, discussion for later.)

Too bad anything that slightly swerves off course from the akuma of the day gets undone or ignored. Too bad nothing has any lasting consequence. I mean, if anything did, the episodes would have had a consistent order and release schedule so im not scrambling to watch the leaked ep in Portuguese or something while the french dub is two episodes behind while the english version hasnt even been dubbed. I really wonder how he plans to conclude the show when he’s so afraid to step out of the corner he painted himself in.

Again, not going into nuances. If you want you can ask for more specifics (i doubt anyone would) but this is really just a slightly detailed general overview of my opinions on astruc’s writing. 

I was going to include another miss in his approach to this show but imma save that for another time.

Season 3 notes popping off

due to my desire to not completely fail all my classes this year i made myself slow down significantly while listening to this season, and the fact that the other person i'm listening along with had to catch up. We've managed to convert several other people to start listening and its pretty great.

ep 81: what does it even mean to be chosen by one of them? And if he was chosen by the eye. we know Gertrude wasnt? Because she cut the eyes out of the magazines?

ep 82: elias lmao. I understand why people like him so much bahshdhdk i thought he was gonna snitch on Jon but he didnt so he's fine. Ok but how do we think he knew all that stuff. Idk probably just institute connections. I love the fact that the recorder just wants to record stuff randomly bjahsjdhd. Elias feels a lot like Michael in the sense that he knows more than he should and talks in a way that implies he just wants to wait and see how things play out for his own benefit. I understand him knowing the things that happened but his description of her emotions implies something paranormal. Maybe he's connected to one of the entities. Which one I cannot guess.

ep 83: did a file get delivered randomly to the place he's staying at? Probably elias lmao. He thinks the mannequin is related to the stranger. Idk I would believe it.

ep 84: worms? I know he says earth worms but idk. Again? Is she making gordon golems out of trash? Martin popping off. You can tell the statements get to him more that they get to Jon. How come martin is so mad about it? I want to assume he just doesnt want her to get stuck there but idk. Jude Perry. The calliope organ. Jon heard a circus in one of the last episodes

ep 89: he's talking to perry? Like jude Perry? He says ... God? Is that what it is? Lmao. The Desolation. Jon is tired of ppl being vague and not telling him stuff lmao. Oh God Jon is so confused. Compel her? Is she assuming he has some kind of power? Does he have powers? Hmm. im agreeing with jon here please jesus christ why does everyone have to be so cryptic. Just say what you mean. "maybe you get an itchy eye" bahasjkdfklsjdf girl what. Agnes saved her? Oh this is the girl from the cafe story? So theres the Cult of the Lightless Flame? They worship whatever entity this is? The Desolation? Why do they all seem like they sorta worship her then? ep 90: try to make it less obvious you're trying to get fired big T. Elias that doesnt sound like the most healthy thing to do. oh dear is this gonna be triggering for me. uuuuuh. uuuuuuuuuh. doesnt seem like it ok gonna keep listening. Jared. hmmmmm. Ok we've seen Keay and hotner or whatever his name was.

ep 91: Michael Crew. Oh is this the lightning scar guy. Mister jon sir did you just die. No? God everyone is so fuckin cryptic. Say normal things please. They all just like to go on about pain and agony and j e s u s c h r i s t we get it you got hurted by whatever thing. So theyre avatars? question mark? Jude Perry is an avatar of The Desolation? hhhh fractals. thats a spiral thing innit. Yup. messing with your perceptions. God they all talk about feeding their god and feeding that which feeds them and. hh what does that meann. Leave big J. please. uh oh. is it daisy? how come he has the web lighter still? the tape recorder just turns on sometimes you know how it is. So he can compel people? not that he knows it obviously but. a bit wack. powers go brr i guess? If the eye just wants knowledge i guess he feeds it by getting the statements? b/c i doubt it wants him to murder ppl or whatever.

ep 92: elias you all knowing fuck what do you know. (i guess all given what i just said) Lukas. Heard of them before. Mordecai Lukas. Loneliness. The lonely even. Jonah Magnus. Elias ur sounding like a bit of a dickhead rn. lmao jon's just like "i dont care" elias what is ur deal. Why does he want to tie her in. ohh i see. lmao theyre all just like "elias why" The Unknowing lol seems very much like something the eye wouldnt like. lol elias is gettin all philosophical. what does it really mean to be human. this still doesnt answer why gertrude wanted to destroy the archives tho.

ep 93: bahsjdfh he seems so dead inside rip. awww admiral. i love him already. ghh breacon and hope. purple mold. doesnt sound like anything we've seen so far. I think the funniest explanation for breacon and hope is that they dont actually serve the stranger they just kinda happen to be a random neutral party that cart around random spooky entity related stuff. ooooh. when we hear the slight static of the tape recorder it's cuz he's compelling ppl.

ep 94: the end! listen man they were all just grayed up for 4/13.

ep 95: the end also? death but also savagery/ animalistic shit. aww martin. lmao becerra. she's just been chillin in the corner.

ep 96: return to sender. haha minecraft go brr. prediction: breacon and hope? yup there we go. jon why is there an echo. are you in a stairwell? is he gonna eat it- yup. how did i call it. unsure abt what theyre talking about but ok. they kidnapped someone? Sarah Baldwin. ooooh that guy.

ok im just putting this here so i have notes for when nicholas gets to this part. It seems like (from jon's conversation with jude perry) that the desolation and the eye are kinda at odds with eachother? like i guess not directly but it seems like they dont really vibe? so how could be with both. Cuz if he has the heat powers and shit then we know he's an avatar of the desolation. but then why does he have so much eye imagery. also he got burned intentionally? like jude did when she went on her monologue about the feeling of burning? but then why did he wear the eye pendant. it stops him from being burned all the way which seems like he's not fully accepting the fire or whatever.

Third Degree. bahahsdkfj she was arrested. sorry but imagining this old british lady getting arrested is funny. she was trying to resurrect him. using the skin book. he's not feeling well. jon take a nap. i wonder if this is what happens when he uses his powers too much. He gets into The Zone when he reads statements lol. didn't we have a burning train car in anothre statement? is it julia fairchild? bahahahs "kidnapped. After that Tikki tried, once again, to heal Marinette though she told everyone not to get their hopes up which was a good thing because it didn’t work. When her parents texted her a few minutes later to tell her the wheelchair she had ordered had been delivered at the bakery Marinette decided it was her luck working for her given that it wasn’t supposed to show up for at least a week yet. When she asked Damian if his family had something to do with that, she had ordered it customized through Wayne Enterprises after all, he just shrugged and said he had no control over what his family did. She transformed to get Tikki back to normal and to pull the Miracle box out of her yoyo to prevent any more surprises. That brought a whole new round of questions with it.

“The Guardian is in failing health. I didn’t even know until this afternoon but that’s why he wanted to see me. He’s been training me to take over for him almost since I became Ladybug and today he decided it was time to turn the Miraculous over to me so that if anything happens to him they’ll be where they should be. I’ll still be able to contact him if I need help but as of today I’m the new Guardian.” She could tell he didn’t expect to live much longer, her guess was six months or less now that he’d basically lost his purpose and handed the box over to her.

“After everything you’ve been through he just decided to pile this on as well? Not to mention you’re still in school for crying out loud. Why didn’t he find an adult to train?” Damian’s rant just kept going. She’d be insulted if not for the fact that she knew he wasn’t doubting her abilities, but rather the Guardian’s sanity. Given the way the Justice League reacted to her she really couldn’t blame him. Master Fu had left it far too long to find a replacement. It was a mistake she was going to learn from. She was certain these new responsibilities were why Tikki decided to bring the new Kwami into this plane of existence the way she did as well.

“I’ll grant you Fu wasn’t the best Guardian, but given his start he did pretty well. That’s a large part of why Tikki asked if some of us would be willing to help though. The new Guardian won’t have to rely just on trial and error or have to do everything on their own. Honestly the Order had strayed from the original purpose of the Miraculous and this will give all of us a chance to restore harmony.” It was the first time Marinette had heard Digg’s voice and it certainly fit the rest of him. His deep bass had a gentle tone to it now but she could easily imagine the fear he’d be able to inspire with it if he chose to. Bodyguard indeed.

“What exactly was the original purpose of the Miraculous then?” Damian’s tone was still rather hostile and all the Kwami were giving him odd looks. She really hoped she wasn’t going to have to stop them from doing anything drastic. It had already been a really long day.

“We will teach the Guardian. What she chooses to share with you after is up to her.” Jett’s tone was neutral, headed towards bored and they seemed far more interested in the feel of the chair they were sitting on than the conversation. Marinette thought Damian looked like he was about to explode.

“Calm down Dames. You should be happy they’re being respectful of Marinette and not blabbing secrets to anyone that asks.” Damian turned his glare on Luka but the other boy just raised an eyebrow at him. The stare down ended when Damian gave an annoyed huff and sat down next to his boyfriend. Marinette watched in amusement as Luka began playing with Damian’s hair and all the tension quickly left the younger boy. Lyccen was frowning at them thoughtfully.

“You are both an interesting mix of order and anarchy.” They wrinkled their nose in annoyance before pointing to Luka. “But your anarchy is far too controlled. We’ll have to do something about that.” The others shot Lyccen a withering look.

“We’re not here to interfere with the lives of mortals. We agreed to teach and protect the Guardian, not try to bring out our own aspect in everyone we come into contact with.” Primm’s censure received a scowl.

“Killjoy. Still if either of you want help in truly letting loose let me know. These busy bodies can’t do anything if you actually ask me to show you a good time.” All the Kwami were glaring at Lyccen except Plagg, who was cackling madly from Chloe’s shoulder. Marinette had a feeling she was going to have to keep those two separated.

“You promised you’d behave.” Tikki’s stern tone actually caused the Kwami of Anarchy to flinch. “Marinette doesn’t need to spend her time babysitting you and I won’t hesitate to do what I need to in order to keep you in line.” Lyccen looked devastated.

“You mean I’m not allowed to have any fun? That seems rather harsh. You still let Plagg goof off and he caused a mass extinction. More than once.” Now Plagg was glaring at Lyccen while most of the other’s seemed to be trying to hold back laughter.

“What do you mean more than one?” Marinette wasn’t certain she wanted an answer to that question. Plagg grumbled something about immortal tattletales and flew off, she assumed to find cheese. Tikki let out a frustrated sigh.

“It’s a very large universe and Plagg and I were rather competitive in our youth.” Not the response she’d been expecting. At the same time she wasn’t really surprised. She couldn’t help but smile at the thought of Plagg chasing Tikki around and destroying everything she created just to show off. It actually reminded her of the way she and Chloe had interacted when they were younger. Judging by the pained grimace on Chloe’s face she had the same thought.

Miracle Queen

At long last, my late Miracle Queen analysis is here....I apologize for the wait, this would have been out yesterday but unfortunately I realized I had places to be. 

As usual, spoilers are below

Marinette and Luka

DId anyone else take Marinette asking Luka about that “perfect tune” as a different take on asking someone out? Because she asked about it, but then Luka didn’t play it because she was still thinking about Adrien.  Then at the end of the episode, he ass “Are you sure you want to hear it” after she was done thinking about what Master Fu said about life not always giving you what you want or expect but it not necessarily being a bad thing. 

Low-key I interpreted the end of Miracle Queen being the start of a Lukanette relationship. 

And he pulled a Chat Noir here.

“No!” for once when Adrien doesn’t want someone’s advances they actually stop. Kagami respect.

“I mean, yes!” This boy is so confused... I mean, clearly he likes Kagami. He could probably see himself being in a sucessful relationship with her but he’s so confused by his feelings for Ladybug, these surfacing feelings for Kagami and his repressed feelings for Marinette...poor kid.

“Your indecision is hurtful, Adrien” I like that she’s not pushing him, but letting him know that he needs to gather himself soon.

Hawkmoth and Mayura: Well....

“Dont know this one, he’s cute,  but he gets his clothes from a dumpstser” Luka X Chloe has been canonically shot down. 

Okay so...now Hawkmoth knows the identies of ALL the miraculous wearers outside of Ladybug and Chat Noir...what now? I mean, these all have to be people Ladybug knows and trusts right?- Hawkmoth now knows all their identities, so, he can find out what they have in common. 

They all go to the same school. If he found that out, he could narrow it down to have Ladybug be going to their school as well. 

Then, he could find out WHO they all have in common. Most of them are class mates, so it’s likely someone in THEIR class, but what about Kagami and Luka? The classmates all have relationships with their fellow classmates in common, but Kagami and Luka? Who do they have in common with the class? 

Marinette and Adrien. If it weren’t for Kagami, Juleka. So this is actually kinda dangerous for Marinette if Gabriel and Nathalie followed that line of thinking.

I don’t know I just get the feeling this scared him.She completely rag-dolled like on some of those video games, and his instinct wasn’t to just catch her either, no, it was to just completely wrap her up in his arms like a burrito.

Then he’s asking her forgiveness, like...he knows he’s in the wrong letting her use it even if she is willing to help him or not. But he can’t do it without her. 

“Don’t blame yourself. From the very first day, I knew that I’d do anything for you.”

So basically what happened was, she was quite fond of Gabriel and loved his family before all of this. But as soon as he told her he was going supervillain, she got smacked in the face with something more because she got to see how much he was willing to do to keep his family intact. 

And he pulls her closer

And then just absolutely melts into her hand

And I am here for it.

I love them and they love each other. 

She’s so pretty. Now, that aside- she brought back Hawkmoth’s sentimonster. Is it a new one or the same one? It certainly looks the same...but what emotion has it been created from, exactly? Does that matter when reviving a sentimonster, assuming it’s supposed to be the same one? Or is it completely different aside from appearance? Her eyes are pretty in these shots.

I am in no way attracted to Gabriel but when we get shots like this I can kinda understand why Nathalie would be.

This positive reinforcement...absolutely wonderful. She already had a breakdown and was on the verge of another. Chat kept that from happening and did his job as her kitty to keep her grounded and focused. They’re starting to see each other in different lights, her opening up to him so much emotionally like that proves that no matter what they’ll always have an unbreakable bond. They’re literally each other’s pillar of support.

“Littlebug” I love it. Imagine if that’s what he calls his future daughter assuming they get together in the future? Adorable.

Sometimes I like to imagine Gabriel or Nathalie in place of Hawkmoth and Mayura and this started cracking me up because it reminded me of Simon Says. Flutter flutter. Flap flap.

Cutie. And I like how the second time Adrien got the snake miraculous, he was actually able to wield it as necessary because he wasn’t trying to impress Ladybug, 

Okay so, I like how in this shot they didn’t have him breathing or talking and all the noise seemed to kinda stop. It’s realistic and I like that attention to detail.

Gabriel, honey...ily but you’re dumb. Ladybug is right there, her purifying that akuma before it even reaches it’s target was predictable. 

Also when Chloe opened up there, and Ladybug’s face as she realized exactly what all of this was about- I think it hurt both of them. But Ladybug’s already explained herself. Chloe should have known that if she wanted her miraculous back from Ladybug it wasn’t going to be easy. She already told her so...yeah I understand though. She’s just hurt and let it get the best of her. Girl needs to get her emotions in check. 

Sometimes you an really Tell Gabriel lives in the present without thinking much about the consequences of certain things. He looks so freaking happy about Chloe being so adamantly against Ladybug now and wearing all the miraculous, but how is she going to know what to say to transform before Ladybug gets the miraculous away from her? I understand the excitement of a new ally but “I don’t even need to do anything” Idk if you really want her to be able to use all the miraculous and potentially lose her mind as implied from Kwami Buster you might want to distract Ladybug and Chat so she can figure out the right transformation words. 

“Checkmate, Ladybug!” I have little to say except I love it when villains say “checkmate” during battle. 10/10 dialogue. 

He evil laughs so much in this sequence. I wonder if he’s practiced it? Has Nathalie ever walked in on him practicing his evil laugh in the mirror? and this...

Don’t say checkmate until the opponent has no more pawns to move, And the reactiosn the kwamis have? How many masters have they grown to love and admire that they lost just like that? Also I recall someone saying that this thing has a plot hole in it, but I think that Master Fu really was the true guardian of this particular box just from the backstory he has, he was given the miraculous box and grimoir by another master to protect. So he was in a way established as guardian of that box and so I see no reason why he shouldn’t be able to hand ownership over to anyone of his choice. 

“Hawkmoth! Tell them to give me my box back!” Did anyone else find that hilarious? Like a spoiled child running to a father who has the backbone of a chocolate eclair. 

Except in this case he has the backbone of like...a steel rod. 

And then he just goes to scoop up Mayura. 

“How disappointing...”

I like Mayura’s face here too. “Oh, he’s picking me up? Alright, okay I guess so, that’s fine.”

I literally slow down the playback scenes to watch these scenes go slower. It looks like their heads are touching.

I feel so bad for these kwamis. How long does it take before they break after watching everyone they love eventually just die? Have any of them ever emotionally distanced themselves from mortals to avoid the heartbreak when they inevitably lose them? And without Wayzz how long does Master Fu have left being almost 200 years old?

Chloe is really putting on her clown wig in this episode. Mommy is staying in Paris so she can’t go to New York now. Karma, am I right?

“Even if like doesn’t give us the gifts we were hoping for, the true gift is life itself”....And that’s why I think Lukanette is basically canon by the end of the episode. Master Fu’s words play out in her head as she sits next to Luka and she’s not stuttering around Adrien. Her ice cream changes, and I just can’t help but feel like the whole melody thing was symbolic of her accepting Luka’s love and deciding to move on.

They can finally be together...

“Thank you young lady, I will never forget you” if only he knew...

And the way it ended, the endcard...it was all just very sweet and fitting. I do hope Marinette and Adrien will be together by the time Miraculous ends (it’s obviously endgame) but them developing a strong, loving friendship that isn’t plagued with stuttering and stalking is going to be crucial for them to really have a chance at making it. Adrien and Kagami and Luka and Marinette do make sense as couples as we get to know Kagami and Luka more. Still though, I do hope that Adrien and Marinette find each other in the end. There’s to much symbolism pointing to them being (as much as I hate the term) soul mates for them not to. 

And for the record, same with Gabenath imo. Gabriel IS losing his certainties, after all...

I made the son around 2ish the age wasn’t described in the prompt but this is around the age where they start talking more. Requests will be reopened once I write and post the next two after this one, sorry for the delay! Hope this is everything you hoped it be. 

Requested: Yes (I would like a oneshot (Thor 2) where Loki says "You might want to take the stairs to the left." But instead of Frigga who is there is (Y/N) with his son (his wife) and she ends up being hurt by fighting with the monster to defend her son. Loki goes to the healers to see her (he does not know that he has one son) And the boy says something like "I know you're my father" he's very smart and looks like Loki. They talk while you rest and he feels guilty. Sorry I know it's too long.)

  Loki was locked up from all of his crimes in the city Thor called New York. He had stolen the tesseract and reeked havoc on their world. What Loki didn’t know was the 2 year old little boy grasping on your pants was his. The black hair on top of his head made it very obvious to any bystander who dared to look or question you. When Loki came back you kept your son from him seeing as how Loki left shortly after you fell pregnant. Of course he didn’t know he was too concerned at the point with fighting with his brother. You sat next to Frigga as they brought Loki through the castle Thor gripping the chains so hard his knuckles became white. When Thor returned to your thrones he scooped your son up and kissed the small boys cheeks. “Hows my favorite nephew?” His voiced boomed but your son giggled and looped his fingers through his uncles long hair. Thor smiled at you and placed the child in your arms. 

 “How’s he doing?” You questioned letting your son run after his grandmother. Thor signed and grabbed your hands with his calloused ones “What he did wasn’t right and I hoped you understand why we locked him up”. You slowly nodded and looked down the hall where Frigga had taken him and slowly looked back at Thor. “Im sure she’ll looked after him if you’d like to go see Loki” Startled by the voice you nodded and followed Thor down the hall to the chambers that held your boyfriend. Upon arrival you thought you might tell Loki now about your beautiful creation that was the son you two had. Surly Loki would be happy to know his genes where passed down, but when you arrived in front of the glass your heart sunk. 

 Loki smirked as Thor stopped and let you continue walking “Hello darling” he smiled down at you and you smiled back. It hurt you to know that your Loki was possible of all the wrong he did on their planet. “Hi Loki” he gave you a side look and frowned once he noticed you were upset. “Darling whats bothering you?” You quickly shook your head and gave him a side look “Nothing I’m just upset you’re behind glass and I can’t hug or kiss you”. Loki sighed and pressed his hand against the glass. “Soon my love” you stayed their for a little while talking and catching up. After a little while you turned and looked at him hard “What?” He questioned standing up “Why’d you hurt all those people Loki?” You asked fire spitting ripping your hand from the glass. Loki looked shocked as to your sudden outburst. You couldn’t help it there was so much building up. 

 Loki backed up and slammed his hand into the table he had inside. “You don’t get to question me” you laughed lowly “I do you left me! And we all thought you died and yet here you are in fucking prison due to you trying to rule something you have no control over!” Shouting you slammed your hand against the glass startling Loki and Thor who was still waiting on you. “I think you have it all twisted there love” he smirked and you rolled your eyes pulling your shoulder scarf closer to your chest “Lead me out of here Thor” you mumbled and Thor placed a supportive hand on your back leading you up the steps. 

 It had been a few weeks since you had last seen Loki and Thor had traveled back to Earth to see Jane and fix a few things with her. You carried your son through the palace and stopped at a small opening where you could see most of Asgaurd. You looked at your son and kissed his small cheeks as he squealed. “Mommy loves you Lukas” he snuggled his face in your shoulder as he started to feel sleepy. You turned and started back towards your room when Thor came running in with a lady who you suspected was Jane. Thor spotted you and picked up his pace “Y/N could you possibly watch Jane so I can find Frigga” you nodded as he laid the girl down at your feet. She looked pretty normal but you noticed a small red glow coming off her and you also noticed Lukas was very awake and you set him down as you leaned down to see Jane. She stirred slowly but as she did the red glow became brighter you shielded your eyes as you looked up to see Thor come running back with Frigga and the medical ward. 

 Thor gave you look as you scooped Lukas up and handed him to Frigga as you followed Thor to where they were taking Jane. “What did you see?” He asked crossing his arms “The red glow which I’m assuming isn’t supposed to be there” Thor looked between you and Jane. “Red glow?” You nodded and looked back at her “it gets stronger each time she moves”. Thor signed “Im going back to Lukas let me know when she’s awake”. You met Frigga in the throne room playing with Lukas she smiled up at you as he spotted you an came running. “Hi buddy” “Momma!” Frigga smiled as she took a stack of clothes to Thor. 

 Later in the night Jane had awoken and was confused where she was. “You’re in Asgaurd” You said folding her old clothes as Lukas walked around the room with his small toys. “Asguard?” She asked rubbing her head. You nodded as you gave her a glass of water. “Why am I here?” She spoke after chugging the drink. “Thor would be better at explaining all of this to you” She looked at you and then to your son. “Who’s that?” Your son smiled and walked up to her holding out his toy “I Lukas!” He squealed and you smiled “My son” she smiled at him as the door opened revealing Thor. 

 The next day Thor was showing Jane around you sat in the small cosy room with Frigga and Lukas as Thor came in and told Jane to sit with you guys. He stormed out of the room with a worried look as you looked to Jane for an answer “He was called by someone” she shrugged and you looked at Frigga who could feel the tension as you did. You stood and pulled Lukas to you as Frigga pulled out her sword which happened to be when the door busted open reviling Malekith. Frigga pushed you and Jane behind her “Jane the stairs!” You yelled as she started towards them. You felt something hit your back making you jolt which scared Lukas and he started screaming. Jane grabbed him as you whipped around with your own sword to help Frigga. You slashed your sword hitting Malekith. The door swung open again as his blade slammed into your middle. 

 You felt the world closing in as someone screamed your name. 

 Loki’s eyes were extremely puffy as he sat in your room with your hand clasped in his. He had heard the news about his mother but upon hearing your name among that list Loki slammed and pounded on the door until Thor let him out to be by yours and Lukas’ side. For a while Loki stayed in the room alone not knowing Lukas was waiting to see his mother. Thor noticed Lukas was in the nursury where Jane was told to place him. Thor scooped him up and carried him to your room and nudged the door open. Loki looked up and eyes widen upon seeing the small boy. 

 “Who’s this?” He asked turning to look at Thor. “Ill let him explain” He closed the door as Lukas walked over and pulled himself onto your bed. “Mommy wake up” he cried tugging on your night shirt. Loki looked between you and the boy. Lukas caught him staring and looked at Loki. “Hi dadda” and made grippy hands for Loki to pick him up. Loki picked up the boy and held him in his arms. “I know you dad because momma talks about you all the time” Lukas giggled and Loki’s tears started to return. He didn’t know you were ever pregnant before he left or well took off. He looked at Lukas and started to notice all the features they shared. He felt guilty he had left you all alone while you were pregnant and alone with raising this child on your own. 

 Lukas wiped Loki’s tears and placed his small arms around his neck “Is mommy ok?” He sniffled and Loki frowned and hugged the child “She’s going to be ok buddy”. Lukas hung onto Loki the whole time they waited for you to wake. Eventually they left your room when they went to attend Frigga’s funeral. “I see you finally met your son” Thor spoke as Loki was heading back to your room with Lukas in his arms fast asleep. Loki cradled him closer and looked up at Thor “How long?” He asked and Thor rose an eyebrow “Pardon?” Loki sighed and turned to Thor “how old is my son?” He asked and Thor frowned “he’s 2” Loki’s shoulders slumped “You know he knew I was his dad” Thor smiled “Thats because Y/N always tells Lukas stories about you they’re his bedtime stories” He replied clasping Loki on the back. Loki’s eyes started to tear up as his looked down at the small boy “I’d get back to her” Thor’s voice startled him. Loki turned and started back towards your room. Once he closes the door he takes Lukas over to his toddler bed and placed him down and covered him with his blankets and kissed his head before he stood up and looked at you. He jumped when he noticed you were watching him. He quickly ran over to you and carefully scooped you into his arms and kissed your lips. 

 You sighed into his lips and wrapped your arms around his neck. He soon pulled away and looked at you “Sorry I missed the funeral” He smiled and pecked your lips again. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” He asked gesturing towards Lukas. You slumped “Well I got pregnant a month or so before you disappeared and nobody knew where you were and then I gave birth and started to raise him alone because I thought you died. I just wanted him to know about you, then Thor told me he found you and he needed to go save you. I meant to tell you when you first got back but then we fought so I waited” Loki frowned and once you finished your story he pulled you into him as you both looked at your son. 

 Loki kissed your forehead and watched as Lukas stirred. “I promise ill never leave you guys again” He pulled you into the bed and you fell asleep finally with your family fully together.

music!! adrien still plays piano, but in this, mari plays viola and accompanies him sometimes!! adrien got tired of how limited viola pieces are, so he started to compose his own under tikki’s tutelage (creation and all). mari is flattered but she’s fine playing second fiddle (viola), really! adrien keeps writing music because it’s fun and because he loves the way mari’s eyes light up when she sees a new piece

sorry to have her play viola but im Projecting. its basically used as percussion in most songs, playing a steady beat that some find boring but all other sections would lose their tempo without. i feel like mari, who in the show tends to feel useless unless she is Actively Helping, would enjoy a part that’s so (pardon the pun) instrumental.

with tikki, adrien is a lot less *spontaneously* rebellious and a lot more *planned out* rebellious. tikki helps him plan how to get out from under his father’s thumb without accidentally landing himself further under it. because of her help, he’s able to hang out with friends a lot more!!

mari and adrien are both better friends with the class in diamond. mari makes an effort to include people in projects she thinks they’d like, and helps them with theirs in return, but they also hang out to just goof around and watch movies or play video games! adrien is easy to be friends with, but he takes more responsibility for himself and others and, on top of that, is simply around more for them to be friends with!

he ends up modeling for marinette a lot. like, a lot. to the point where adrien’s fanclub finds the MDC website that max helped her with and sees all the pictures of adrien and she’s sold out of commission slots in minutes. she becomes very popular after that and wins herself an internship at gabriel!

about the website- since people like heping mari with projects (she gives them free food and thanks them profusely for helping, and. well. no one in class can withstand the might of the dupain-cheng puppydog eyes) they are super willing to help her with modeling for and matinence of the site! max showed her how he set it up so she could fix it herself if she had to! in return she made markov a sweater. it’s adorable.

adrien, through tikki’s courage, is standing up to his father more. he’s no longer modeling as much for gabriel, he has more free time, and he gets to play music he wants to play, not just music gabey wants him to play. it’s... nice. he smiles more genuinely and laughs more sincerely and hes just! happier and more real.

copycat doesnt happen the same but it kinda does. im going the @zoe-oneesama route of having theo be in their school so its not super creepy for him to crush on minuit but dang is our boy crushing. however, red light has no reason to be jealous, so instead he explains that he and mini are too professional to entertain civilian crushes, causing theo to become stoplight, a ““hero”” that mini would then be allowed to date by hero law, especially since they’re already partners. mini is Conflicted because her cute spotti boy is flirting?? with her??? but then she gets a call from red while stoplight is still in front of her and shes like “oh fuck akuma” and wins the fight. it was weird for her to be punching her partner in the face, but she won anyways lol

every episode where alya makes a convoluted plan to get mari and adrien together still happens but her coconspiritor is adrien now. she knows mari has a Secret, Unattainable Crush but thats all she knows. she thinks its adrien though because mari is modest and modelboy adrien seems out of her league.

mari accidentally derails every plan just by her pure chaos energy. they were setting up cherry blossoms to rain down over mari while she sketched & adrien would come over to ask her out but she saw them sitting in the tree with the bin of blossoms and asked them for opinions on what she was designing. alix was gonna zoom by and make mari fall so adrien could catch her romantically and ask her out but when she fell she did a front handspring and landed perfectly. adrien is even more smitten.

in animan its basically the same thing? but with no secret alya, shes just not there. mari came because she loves hanging out with her friends and nino has a huge crush on her which. adrien is sad but he wants mari to be happy even if its not with him so he was invited but IS hiding in the bushes helping nino instead of being there. but then mari ends up setting up alya and nino and adrien is like “hope replenished yall”

frozer happened because he was trying to ask her out and he panicked and asked her advice on asking out Unnamed Girl and she assumed kagami because theyre friends in this. adrien was too awkward to say no. mari sets up a date for them (milkshakes & skating) but they both separately ask her to come for different reasons. adrien just wants her there because hes crushing hard but kagami is nervous about her first date ever and she wants to get it right, so she asks mari to please be there. mari shows up with luka. this episode makes it clear that kagami and adriens intentions in asking mari along were not all that different actually maybe

speaking of things lukas probably wont ever tell u but i’m including them anyway: his family is kind of messy. not majorly but like a little bit more than average. he had two brothers, now he only has one. i’m not gonna include a whole lot of nitty gritty here i’ll save it for when i write the real bio and can actually do it justice but its the reason they moved from florida and it has had a pretty major effect on lukas over time obviously

he’s the baby of the family and he’s pretty much always been treated like one. it has left him pretty immature and irresponsible. still learning that his actions have consequences and that he cant just be a total dick all the time. he’s improved in those areas a fair bit since he started at columbia a year ago but he still has a long way to go

he didn’t ever really expect to go to columbia, he’s from a middle class family and his dad didn’t even go to college. he applied for columbia just as a might as well give it a go thing. like maybe it will happen. they had a film course and although the course itself isn’t really great, the connections to the industry available at columbia were valuable enough for him to try. he was wait listed up until basically the last minute, preparing to go to a college in boston instead but when he was accepted he knew he had to go. for himself, for his family, and for his lost brother.

obviously irresponsible attitude has led to some Bad Decision Making including but not limited to partying and drugs. he doesn’t prioritise that lifestyle over his school work (bc he knows how lucky he is to be at columbia at all) but he is a big believer that you need to experience things to be a great artist and he plans on being the greatest artist so bad decision town here we come !!!!

-Nino said something that just SHOOK Adrien. Something about giving him the miraculous all the time.

-Okay so Adrien processed the stuff. That Carapace is Nino, Alya is Rena. But he asks how he knows that Chat noir would know that.

-So basically (if I am right) Nino thinks that after countless rejections from Ladybug, Chat noir decided to go for the next best heroine, Rena Rouge.

-Nino's acting this out is amazing

-Nino is heart broken. And wants to punch out chat noir

How do the old and new Order of the Stone react to having a s/o that isn't really big in adventuring? They're not exactly athletic and they scare easy. They always rise to the occasion when needed, but the whole idea of adventuring kind if makes them uncomfortable and anxious.

(Old order huh? Okay this might be a bit difficult for Soren and Gabriel because 1. Soren’s personality probably changed a ton during the events that led to MCSM. and 2. I barely ever see Gabriel be himself because I keep letting him get amnesia (spoiler)  but I’ll try. I’m guessing old Soren was still energetic and not as paranoid as he is now. Oh and I wrote it so for the Old Order it was back in their days instead of them being how they were in game.)

(New order is easier to work with cause their the main cast for crying out loud. I don’t think I can do Jesse though. Male or Female cause you kinda decide their personality and it just feels weird. And I’m putting Ivor for the new order because I cannot imagine how he used to act for the life of me yet)

Old Order

Magnus

-He doesn’t fully understand but he tries to for you

-He will try to help you with your fears though

-He’ll offer to take you out on walks and such just to get you a bit used to being in the wild (assuming he could actually leave Boom Town or wherever then)

-If you refuse he’ll be a bit dissapointed but he’ll bring some stuff back from his adventures

-If you wanna work on being athletic and being scared he’s there to help you with that no matter what

-If not he’ll still love you for who you are

-When you do rise to the occasion he’s just so proud of you

-Probably won’t show it totally but will try to find a way to brag to everyone about how you did that

-He might mock you a bit for being scared but he doesn’t mean any harm

-Like light hearted teasing

-Overall though he’s a bit dissapointed at the fact that you don’t do well while adventuring but he’s still there for you

-Small bonus: If he is stuck in Boom Town and you’re there with him, yeah he understands because he can’t leave the place without being chased by greifers

Ellegaard

-She understands a lot more than the rest

-She can see how adventuring can make you anxious because of all the possibilities of what can happen out there

-She’s probably busy working on things in Redstonia or wherever so she’s not really out that much

-When she is though, she always makes sure you’ll be okay without her regardless of what way it’s in

-I don’t think she’s the best when it comes to being athletic so she understands that bit

-Probably gets scared easier than the rest so yeah she understands

-Might tell you there’s nothing to worry about which seems harsh but she just wants to calm you do

-When you do step up though...oh boy

-Get ready for her to keep telling you how amazing you were and such

-Basically understands a lot and doesn’t find it a huge issue

Soren

-He loves adventure, just almost everything about it is perfect

-Well besides mobs but that’s besides the point

-So he’ll need some explaining on why you feel that way

-He does slightly understand though, despite not being as paranoid as he is now, he’s still cautious

-He’s probably busy studying things (probably building related) so he’s not busy being out THAT much

-Will try and encourage you to get out a bit more and might come off as forceful but he just wants to help you overcome your fears

-You rising up though, well it’s kinda a mix of Magnus and Ellegaard

-He’s bragging to everyone about how “brave” you were (doesn’t matter how small it was) and constant praising

-He’s probably gonna stay like that for at least a few weeks so be ready

Gabriel

-Being a warrior, he was built to be out there in the open and taking to the fights

-But surprisingly, he does understand the hesitance

-This being because he likely has more experience on the good and the bad out there

-He won’t force you to go out but will make some light encouragements

-The rising up bit?

-He’ll praise you a lot but doesn’t go extremely far with it

-But in conclusion, he’s with you no matter who you are

New Order

Lukas

-Very much so understanding

-He used to be afraid of adventuring a bit and he still kind of scares easily

-He doesn’t really mind that much

-He does bring you gifts from his adventures though, which is nice

-Usually stuff like gems or flowers or maybe even some artifacts

-When you do rise up though, he just tells you how amazing you were and how he knew that you were capable of something like that

-Can range from totally freaking out to just very proud depending on what you did

Petra

-Confused but doesn’t really say much

-Each to their own she supposes

-Semi understands the fear though

-Brings you gifts similar to Lukas’ but more gems and stuff

-She’s pretty surprised when you do rise up

-Tries not to freak out but she does let you know how proud she is

-Quickly cuts off from it because she thinks she’s being a bit too “sappy”

-Brags about it here and there

Olivia

-Despite how much she loves to adventure, she always had a part of her that was a bit scared of it

-So she completely understands the fear

-She’ll try and help you get over it like she managed to though

-If you accept, she’ll be proud of you and do her best to help

-If not, she’s still proud of you for speaking up about how you prefer not to

-She can range to simple shock to enteral fangirling

-When simply shocked she’ll tell you how cool that was when you did that

-Fangirling though, she’ll rant about about great you were and later being embarrassed when she realizes that she was doing that

Axel

-This big guy was always someone who loved adventure

-So he’ll ask a lot of questions

-But in the end he does his best to accept it

-Brings you gifts aswell but this time their a bit more dorky and bizarre

-For example- A somehow alive pufferfish he found in the ocean

-Basically fanboying when he sees you rise up

-Doesn’t matter what you did, he’s amazed and won’t shut up about it for a while

Ivor

-Obviously a adventure freak

-Loves it almost more than anything else (besides you)

-So he’s pretty shocked when he finds out it scares you

-Will literally sit you down and ask a bunch of questions and give you some recommendations on how to be a bit “braver” so to speak

-If you’re not comfortable with this you’re going to have to tell him

-He’ll just suddenly stop and mumble a quick apology while asking that you at least keep some of his recommendations in mind

-Will bring you some gifts here and there

-Nothing specific really just trinkets that he found

-But he does go on and on about how his adventure went to you

-Rise up though and he’s a mess

-Eternal fanboying and ranting on what you did for hours until he notices how “out of character” he is and quickly goes back to his facade before mumbling something like “I mean...That was....Great. Good job”

(OKAY I think that’s all of them. Sooo very sorry if this wasn’t what you wanted. This took me forever and I think I got a bit of the traits wrong. I could research Gabriel a bit but it’s far to late and I’m tired so maybe another time. Hope that you at least enjoyed it a bit!)

So, SPOILERS for Edgars route! You do find out that the pocket watch IS from Alice the 1st! She finds this pocket watch in the land of reason, in an vintage antique store and it has a magic crystal powering it. Im guessing thats how she falls into the rabit hole and gets to the cradle. She has clothes from London so she can get back, but she gives Blanc the watch so he can come and go as he pleases. To say he treasures it is an understatement and I do think he could have loved the first Alice. Maybe he is going to leave flowers on her grave, or hes even checking up on her descendants. Either way, i want to know what hes doing in London in the first place. XD
