Oliver fell back on the couch in his trailer, exhausted and pissed. He almost wished he had brought his dogs to cheer him up.

His trailer door opened suddenly. "Hey you."

Lou gave him a tentative smile, the worry in his eye palpable as he closed and locked the door behind him.

"Hey Mr. Popular." Oliver was surprised Lou was still standing, the man had basically pulled an all night with filming the last episode for S.W.AT, attending the wrap party, and then coming onto the 911 at 6 am.

But he didn't look tired, just worried as he straddled Oliver's lap. He plunged his fingers into Oliver's curls, messing them up, but Oliver couldn't find it in himself to care one bit as he grabbed ahold of Lou's hips.

"Jealous?" Lou joked.

Oliver let out a gentle hum, the anger seeping out of him while Lou gently stroked his head. "Yup, couldn't even get a second alone with you without Ryan and Anirudh taking your attention away."

It was a joke.

They both knew that

Oliver thought they were good, that they would just have a good little intimate moment in his trailer. But he saw the worry return in Lou's eyes. He let Lou tip his face back, "I'm worried about you." Lou confessed, his voice rough and anxious sounding. "I know it's suppose to be a tense scene but I'm guessing those gawkers made it more tense for you for a different reason?"

Oliver scoffed, "You mean stalkers?"

Lou frowned, contemplating it over. "That's a bit harsh."

Oliver rolled his eyes, Lou was more resilient to the comments than most would think he would be. It never bothered him- all the hate and threats seemed to just roll off him. Much to Oliver's chagrin.

Oliver on the other hand was just over it, over the comments about his hair, his body, his friendship with Ryan, his friendship with Kenny...it was just gratting now because these people were coming to their filming locations now.

He just wanted to do his job and go home.

"I know it's a lot." Lou told him gently, "The season is almost over. Why don't we go somewhere?"

That got Oliver to perk up. "You wanna go on a road trip?"

Lou grimaced, he wasn't a fan of slumming it in a mini-van like Oliver. That was where he drew the line with Oliver.

But he wasn't against camping.

"You ever been to Glaciers National Park?"

Oliver shook his head "No."

"It's in Montana, it's quiet. We can get one of those converted vans, pack the dogs, get some tofu and some real food and spend a few weeks there."

"Really?" Oliver felt a jolt of joy go through him, they still had a month left of filming but that should be enough time for him and Lou to find a van and get supplies. The urge to leave L.A was stronger than ever but he knew he still obligations to work.

Lou rubbed his nose against his. "I know you would rather us leave tomorrow though." He laughed as Oliver made a disgruntled sound. "How about a nap and then we could start looking for vans? Deal?"

Oliver pulled Lou down so they could squeeze horizontally on the couch. He let out a genuine laugh when Lou let out a indignant squawk. They were still getting used to the other being able to shuffle them around with no problem.

Oliver pulled the blanket that hung over his couch. It was hardly big enough to cover them both, but it would do.

They were face to face, Oliver could feel Lou gently brush his fingers against Oliver's face.

"Thank you." Oliver mumbled, he didn't care to ope his eyes but he knew Lou was looking at him affectionately like he always did.

"For what?"

"Just for being here."

He smiled when Lou's warm lips pressed against his forehead.

"Of course."

Ravi thinks he might be the perfect option. i've been on a ravi kick this past week (started before anirudh's video so like i'm not saying i manifested it but i'm also not not saying that lmao) and this fic was one of the highlights for sure!! wonderful writing and such great characterisation of ravi, but also such fun buddie <3
