Just when I thought I blocked them all, another racist bummy rears his ugly head on my for you dash and bash Eddie, before even watching S8.

Yes, we get it you joined in for the two white males and the daddy kink joke, but for the love of God at least try to watch the entire thing before spouting crap like a racist old man with a 'stache getting along with the brown haired tanned Latino on his crew, that even if he kept his head down he would still make a handsome target if only for his skin color and slight accent.

Oh and also his last name.

All you white ppl need to just shut up and see where the wind blows, before you start to sound unobjectively racist while hating the racist captain for MAYBE picking on the one white male of the group.

And how the hell are they still only five?!

I knew what my type of man would be when I first saw "The Nutty Professor" and I physically liked Professor Kelp more than buddy love

You know... I've often thought Buddy Love was Dean. After all, "Buddy" is the name Dean called everyone. Jerry always said that Dean, not remembering people's names, called them all "Buddy". And anyway on the watch that Dean gave to Jerry it said "To my BUDDY and pal". I Love You. Dean. Buddy - Love. But… okay, physically Buddy Love is Dean. Tanned, thick and slightly curly hair with that little curl on his forehead, elegantly dressed (and Dean was always very elegant, even if Jerry deliberately exaggerated, after all Buddy Love was an exasperated character), he smoked, drank, sang... Dean loved to sit on the arms of sofas. Just like Buddy Love did in the movie. BUT there is always that plan that caused me questions. The crooners sang. No crooner played a piano. Sinatra, Sammy, Dean and the rest, they all just sang. Why then did Buddy Love play a piano? Why does a painting of Buddy Love leaning against a grand piano appear in the film? I have always read that ALL the films written and directed by Jerry contained autobiographical elements (the recurring number 13 for example, his lucky number, the number that reminded him of his grandmother). Kelp was Joseph/Jerome. Without any doubt. Jerry thought he was ugly as a boy, he was unlucky with girls (he basically married Patti, the first girl who took him seriously). As a boy he blew up the chemistry classroom at the school he attended. Kelp dreamed of becoming beautiful, strong, attractive. Winning. Joseph/Jerome/Jerry wanted to become like his father before... like Dean after. And he definitely missed his mother. That she was a pianist. She played, her father sang. Here it is, the piano. Could Buddy Love "sum up" the two men with whom Jerry had a true Love/Hate relationship, but adored them, admired them, and wanted to be like them? And that he missed his mother visually remembered with that piano? Jerry always talked about how handsome he thought Dean was. And he gave Dean's physical features to Buddy Love. (The "yeah but that's Dean" rumors were certainly a very strong form of publicity for the film) But the personality in my opinion is that of Danny, his father. He was certainly a narcissist, his mother a flying monkey. Abandoned when he was a child, used for money when he became famous with his father jealous of his son's success. Buddy Love are Dean, Danny and Rae. For me. It definitely wasn't Jerry. Not in the 60s. Jerry got some Buddy Love in the '80s. Not before.

Minthara does not have any specific commentary about the business with the Emperor and Orpheus, but she does have a LOT to say about the Astral Tadpole.

"The Emperor has offered us a special tadpole. We'll become partial mind flayers, but we'll get great powers in turn..."

Minthara nods gravely. "We will need every advantage to survive the battles that are to come, and my illithid parasite has already shown its worth. If this superior tadpole is capable of unlocking my mind's full potential, it is a tempting proposition."

Her eyes narrow and she looks at Rakha with sudden, uncharacteristic intensity.

"Its influence on you is plain to see," she murmurs. "You are sublime."

After her at best cautious conversation on the subject with Wyll, not to mention Lae'zel's active hostility to her decision, Rakha is visibly startled by this fervent support from Minthara:

She has significant doubts that anyone else in their little party will want to subject themselves to the astral tadpole's effects - and deep down, so deep she doesn't acknowledge it even to herself, she suspects they might have a point - so she's not going to keep it away from Minthara if Minthara wants it.

At least then she won't be alone with this choice.

"Use it," she agrees with a slight nod. "Become greater." If greater it is.

Minthara's eyes narrow with sudden determination.

"I will be unstoppable," she murmurs.

Rakha watches impassively as Minthara consumes the tadpole, as her body spasms, as her eyes widen, suddenly deep and black, experiencing the same feeling of power and certainty that flooded Rakha back in the Astral Plane.

Neither of them says anything further - but perhaps they don't need to. The connecting bond of the tadpole between them is stronger than ever, a subtle overlap of thought and feeling.
