Do you think sometimes when the team has a movie night, when they watch those 60's action war movies like "Von Ryan's Express" and "Battle of the Bulge" or spaghetti westerns like "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" and "Death Rides on a Horse," Soldier pauses during or right after fight scenes or duels or whatever to obsessively overanalyze them. Like, he'll try and turn them into strategies to use on the job, takes, uhm, 'notes', (tactical doodles,) sets up nerdy models using a whiteboard map and improvised figurines, uses these examples when he does those psyche-up pre-battle speeches or during strategy meetings.

'Cause I bet he does, I bet he does that, and it completely kills the momentum of the movie to the point where the rest of the team gets disinterested and slowly leaves him behind to do their own thing.

I genuinely bet Engie wouldn't though, nah, I bet he's enough of a patient kind of gentle kind of man willing to stick through these pauses 'cause he's just that into the movie. And maybe he's just a teeny bit into Soldier's dissections of actiony chaos. Maybe gleans a bit of an understanding of Soldier's thinking that way. Admires the guy's passion about his 'research,' how thoughtfully he gathers details in an effort to help the team. Starts mixing in tapes for these sorts of movies more regularly to their movie night pool maybe subconsciously, maybe on purpose. The rest of the team doing their own movie night. losers.

Deadpool & Wolverine was an amazing cinema experience for me, but I swear you guys my Mum somehow enjoyed it even more than me, and I enjoyed it pretty fucking much. She GREW UP with all those references!!! She was giddy as a kid by the time the credits rolled!!! We cackled about the post-credits scene together all the way home!!!

It was an experience and I recommend that experience 101%. Even if you can't do cinema! Make yourself snacks! Turn the lights off! Cackle your heart out!

Dogpool was the MVP. The dance is going viral. They brought back some bangers of a song(s). I'm UNABLE TO WORD. If your parents grew up watching superhero shit + they like Deadpool's R-rated style, they're probably gonna love this.

I feel like there is a correlation between being neurodivergent and liking spicy and/or sour foods. OBVIOUSLY, JUST TO BE CLEAR, you can be neourotypical and enjoy these, that's why these flavor profiles are made into snacks. That is why they are popular enough to be stocked in stores. The general population likes them. But. Take Markiplier for instance. He has ADHD and is extremely not normal about how much he likes sour candy and Takis. I am the same with Takis. We don't just like these snacks, we become somewhat feral about them. I have a very specific way of eating takis and it's very chaotic and I usually eat almost the whole bag. I recently discovered spicy queso pop corners and I am also becoming not normal about them

felt that 😭 I'm the kind of person who needs to watch something when I eat so I've seen most of the series over lunch, with 45-ish minute episodes they're perfect for it. it's a great series, although the biggest challenge is probably going to be finding somewhere to watch it to begin with. hopefully it's something you can jump onto soon if you want to!
