i’m genuinely too stressed to have anything coherent to say really but i do wanna say that out of all the soon 26 years of my life i’ve never felt like i had more friends to turn to to talk about shit or just shoot the shit with than this year. i’m so so so thankful for all the friends i have on this webbed site and i am so glad that my starting to make gifs really brought so many of u here because i appreciate all of u okay like so much 💖

Still studying!  I’m exhausted and I’m behind, but I’m still working.  I’m in a vibe call with friends and honestly it feels like the golden age in undergrad, busy room, anime talk, hearing the people I love happy while I work.  That was the best.  Any who I’m basically 2.5 days behind at the time I’m writing this and I’m really kinda nervous.  I need to be done by school start or I’ll fall behind in the semester too 🥲 Join me tomorrow on Twitch at 10am Pacific (UTC−08:00) for vtuber x promodoro study sessions! 2021 is coming to an end and it’s been a hell of a year so I just wanna do some bitters and some sweets for me:

Bitter: I broke up with a girl I really loved, my health has been a mess, the clerkship application process was miserable, my migraines went from once a month to like three times a week & the preventative meds made me lose like 15+ pounds, a hurricane knocked down two trees at my family’s house & damaged the roof & caused water damage, my first roommate at my new apartment was truly a nightmare & made us have mice, I had an extra tooth that messed up my mouth that I had to get removed, I had some weird blood tests & still don’t really know what caused the funky results, two of my friend groups sort of fell apart, I still don’t have a job lined up for next year, I don’t think I did that well on my finals, the guy I (kind of) like is in what I hope is a very happy relationship, I did not get into a healthy relationship last semester, and Tucker Carlson mentioned me by name on his show (lol)

Sweet: I had a really lovely relationship while it lasted, I have some incredibly supportive and wonderful friends no matter how we group up, I found great doctors who have prescribed good meds (including migraine meds that are helping even if they are making me lose a shit ton of weight), I got one of the top 3 grades in con law, I landed in the top 10% of GPAs in my class at the end of 2L, I did an internship I loved & my supervisor said I was one of the best interns he’d ever had, I’m doing interesting research with a brilliant professor & interesting research on my own, I pitched my research to a journal and it’s going to get published, I did get a clerkship with an incredibly kind judge for 2023, my new roommate is super sweet, I got some fun new piercings, I got better at cake decorating, I honestly got hotter, I have interviews coming up with my dream fellowships for next year, and I pissed off some far right assholes 🤷🏻‍♀️

I refuse to make any predictions for 2022 but I will say this: I am growing more and more each day, and I am choosing who I want to be. I know I go too far sometimes, but I am learning where the line is. I know I’m too much for some people. I also know I am enough for me, and that’s what matters. I am learning. I am growing. It is enough.
