Although Alhaitham wants to confess to you, he'd rather him telling you directly or you finding out yourself without the need of help from others. And Kaveh knew this...

What he does care about however, is how dense you are towards his acts of affection. As stated, he gives you more gifts than anyone else he knows. But another thing he does that he's surprised doesn't get you to catch on, is him "jokingly" calling your Mx Kamisato (he's half joking, he does want to marry you)

What surprises him more is that you somehow think it's directed to someone else?? You question him on who he's referring to even though he was looking directly at you.

Eventually he gently backs you into a corner and makes you face him, turning your chin towards him.

One of the kids witnessed you ranting to yourself about who could've taken the samurai's heart and told Beidou, who then found it amusing enough to tell Kazuha who at first laughs it off before realising you've likely read the poems he wrote. He is thankful you haven't found out it's about you, but at the same time. He doesn't think you've met anyone that's like you, and the love poem does describe you near perfectly. Still...at least you haven't found out?

He watches from a small distance as you glance at him before looking away. This happens a lot, especially when he's talking to a friend who questions your behaviour. In fact, you've done this so much that people assume you're Kazuha's partner and want his attention. They even comment about it to which you both politely explain that you're just friends.

Eventually though, he makes no comment when someone assumes the two of you are dating, which makes you question him which leads to you finally figuring out who the love poem is about.

"Wait so...the love poems..."

I can see him being quite confused himself when he realises he likes someone and might even tell you about how he's feeling. He won't directly say who it is but he tells enough to let you know he's fallen DEEP in love with someone.

Now the two of you are trying to figure out just who's the one making his heart beat faster and clouding his mind. In truth, Xiao quickly realizes it's you that's causing it. But he can't tell you, he's a bit too flustered to tell you, especially with how cute you look trying to figure it out yourself.

So he lets the search go on, he allows you to drag him to meet various people and see if he feels his heart beating faster. And while it does, that's only because you're beside him. Nothing else. He was happy enough to let you guess till you gave up, he didn't think you'd like him back anyways.

However Hu Tao would beg to differ, she's been listening to you rant about how you loved Xiao and all that stuff. In fact, she's even heard from Zhongli that Xiao likes you. So when you come along with the Adeptus in tow and ask him if he feels any different towards her. She has a feeling she knows what's going on. And why not play matchmaker?

~Beidou who would be the closest to find Aether vent regressed without meaning too. Noticing upon returning from his trip to Inazuma and coming back through the storms how much Aether is shaking and how young he's regressed compared to the times she's had the privilege of being the little's playmate.

~He doesn't want to play, doesn't talk, mostly hides and lets Paimon comfort him. And Beidou is very confused but never gets the chance to ask about, too worried about getting her ship through the storm, and by the time they make land Aether is gone

~Diluc and Kaeya look after him the most. They probably bicker a lot when he’s around though they try not to.

~But Kaeya pushes every one of Diluc's buttons. Carrying Aether around 90% of the time and being so smug about being the little one’s 'favorite'.

~Dainslief would 100% have taken care of Lumine regressed before in their travels together. ~But he's definitely more aware of the other, a bit protective and a bit softer with his words. Calling Aether a nickname, one he always used to call Lumine when she was small, by accident, (thinking like star shine or something else sweet) because old habits die hard and he nearly forgets that, 'no that's not Lumine, not his traveling partner, not his little, not his place.'

~Being told not to stim in public, or getting called out asking what he was doing. It wasn't a mean comment necessarily but it hurt. Not sure who would say it, maybe like Razor who genuinely is asking a question that's then taken the wrong way. Kind of like "Well don't do that. Draws attention." because he's anxious about being in public to begin with. Hmm not sure...

~It's something he masks a lot normally, but when he's small it's often times forgotten. He will be small and super happy, start stimming by shaking his hands, or tapping his palms together and have to force himself to stop because- that's weird, no one does that, quit it, you're just faking... which has gained him a couple of concerned looks from those around him who know him well enough

~Seeing as Paimon can't carry him, Aether takes to carrying her around like a stuffie instead as his own form of comfort. Also he’s just touch starved and likes having someone close.

~Paimon will complain about this, but decides inevitably that it's better than being seen as emergency food

~Speaking of emergency food, baby brain finds it hilarious to try and chew on her hair or her cape. One second she’s holding his hand the next she’s being bit.

~Who needs storybooks when you have a dragon dad who's the equivalent of a living one?

~And yes Aether has gone all the way to Liyue from Mond in the span of one night because he couldn't fall asleep and wanted Zhongli to tell him a bedtime story. (It was that or going to Venti, but Venti's stories are usually a lot more lively and not the best to fall asleep to)

~Childe who wants so much to be Aether's big brother while he's small. Buys him a bunch of little gear, stuffed animals, toys, custom pacifiers, really anything he thinks of to try and win the little one's favor. He's is so sure that he's going to be Aether's favorite that he makes a bet with Zhongli over it. (If Diluc knew about this he would have a fit...)

~And Aether just- won't have anything to do with him small. He will either cry, or keep pushing Childe away and whining. He had a full meltdown once where he got overwhelmed enough to call Xiao. Easy to say that ended up in a fight and Zhongli having to step in to calm everybody down.

~His fits are mostly out of fear and distrust. Baby brain sees everything black and white and Childe confuses him more than anything because Childe should be the bad guy here.

~But on one hand he's always nice and he likes the idea of being doted on with little presents and being carried around, and Childe seems like the best big brother that Aether never had.

~But on the other hand their fights have scarred him mentally, and the fatui in general frightens him and he's scared that it's all an act that's going to crumble the moment he gets too attached.

~It takes awhile but he slowly opens up to the other, though only when someone else is around to ‘protect’ him. Probably Xiao. The adeptus wouldn’t trust Aether alone with Childe for a moment

~Xiao has been called multiple times on accident while Aether was small. He comes expecting a fight only to find a small and weepy baby who wants to be held.

~It's gotten to be a problem because the Traveler will refuse to call him when it really matters, like him being in danger, but baby brain will call out for him over something like a nightmare or feeling lonely and small, Xiao is terrible when it comes to anything dealing with delicate emotions.

A soft hand ran slowly up and down your back, KAZUHA was leaned on the trunk of a tree while your head rested upon his shoulder.

Kazuha’s other hand was used to write Haikus down on a sheet of paper, reading them to you as he went along. His head rested on top of yours and you could feel the vibration of his voice as he spoke.

Your eyes soon grew heavy, but desperate to stay open. Kazuha noticed the slowing of your breath and looked down at you. He slightly chuckles at the sight, careful not to disturb you.

“Dove, rest. For your eyes seek to shut, but continue to be forced awake.” Kazuha whispered. He quietly set down his pen and began to softly play with your slightly tousled hair.

“Kazu…” you whine, sitting up and rubbing your eyes, still a bit heavy with sleep. “I’m not tired.” You stifled a yawn while shaking your head.

Your head rested on Kazuha’s shoulder once more, he smiled softly and continued his haiku. Only when he felt your head sliding off of his shoulder did he stop writing.

Kazuha caught your forehead in his palm, chuckling again. With his free hand, he moved the haiku out of his lap and ont the grass beside him. He then laid your head on his lap and brushed his hands through your hair.

“And you said you weren’t tired. Sleep well, dove.” Kazuha yawned, closing his eyes along with you to join you in dreamland.

You leaned over the edge of the crux, releasing the breakfast you had earlier this morning. You slumped against one of the ships walls, wrapping an arm around your stomach.

You grabbed your water pouch with shaky hands and washed the awful taste out of your mouth, spitting it out over the edge of the ship. With closed eyes, you laid on the floor.

You heard footsteps coming towards you, but you didn’t dare open your eyes to worsen the dizziness. But then, you heard a familiar voice that finally made you force your eyes open.

“Hey, sweets. You doin’ okay?” BEIDOU said, squatting near your frail body and running a hand over your forehead. Your eyes met hers and she smiled at you.

“Beidou.. I don’t feel good..” You softly cried, moving to hug Beidou. She rested her hand on your back and rubbed up and down.

She walked both you and her to one of the free rooms on the ship with soft steps, desperately trying not to make you anymore nauseous than you already are.

Beidou carefully laid you down on the bed and sat beside you. She slowly ran her fingers over your forehead in an attempt to calm you enough to sleep.

“Thank you, Bei..” You almost incoherently mumbled, and then you dozed off peacefully. Beidou continued to rub your forehead.

“Your welcome, sweets.” Beidou whispered, slowly getting up and walking out of the room after turning off the lights.

Heizou had taken a nap earlier, which was very rare for him, but he simply said he needed to ‘freshen up’ before continuing his he case.

And you? You worked on the case while he was napping. As his detective accomplice, or as Heizou likes to say, ‘partner in crime’, he trusts you to deal with the cases when he cannot, and vice versa.

Unlike Heizou, you haven’t napped or taken a break at all, and you were utterly exhausted. Meanwhile, Heizou was living it up in his dreams and was completely oblivious of your situation.

Well, not completely. Before his nap he noticed that you look about as tired and droopy as he did, Heizou had also told you to nap so you didn’t over exert yourself.

You didn’t listen. You wanted the best for Heizou, since he was always so exhausted you wanted this case to be as easy as possible. But, there weren’t really any benefits for you.

Heizou had awoken from his nap and went straight to his office to check up on you, only to see your head bobbing up and down and eyes hardly open.

“Ah, partner. I see I might have accidentally worked you to the brim… don’t worry. Come here.” Heizou whispered, reaching his hands out to you like he was about to pick up a child.

“Hrnggg.. s’fine… zou…” you muttered, attempting to slap his hands away, but failing miserably. Heizou picked you up and held you like a child.

“It is not fine, my dearest. You are practically asleep right now. If you are so awake, let me ask you a question. What was the main course of action that…….” His voice faded as your consciousness faded with it.

Heizou noticed this after the question and chuckled to himself. He sat down on the bed and laid you on top of him, and he kissed your forehead while stroking your hair.

You were drooling on his collar, but as long as you slept sufficiently he didn’t mind.

You stumbled into Komore Teahouse, seeking out your beloved, THOMA. To no surprise, he was there. Thoma was feeding Taroumaru when you walked in.

“Ah! There you are- woah! What happened?” Thoma exclaimed anxiously while trotting over to you, who was currently trying to balance on the wall.

“Uh, it’s really nothing- ah shit!..” you hissed in pain as you toppled to your knees, arm still clutching the wound on your stomach.

“Here, I have bandages in my bag I think! Let me take you to a room.” Thoma hooks and arm under your legs and another under your back to support you.

You sit on the floor, still moaning and groaning in pain. Thoma rushes back over with the gauze and bandages, kneeling down in front of you.

“I have to clean the wound first to prevent it from getting infected, it will definitely hurt. But, ah.. oh! Here, squeeze my free hand!” He offers his hand out to you, and you gladly take it.

Right as the disinfectant wipe touches the gash on your stomach, tears well up in your tightly shut eyes and your mouth contorts into a grimace.

“Shh, I know it hurts. Remember, squeeze my hand.” Thoma reassures. You do as he said and squeeze his hand as hard as you can at the moment. It didn’t really help, but you couldn’t tell him that.

Once Thoma finished your bandages, he pulled you into a tight hug. Just then you noticed how unbearably exhausted you were, the overbearing pain, the hours of training and fighting you had done today, they were both taking a toll on you.

A yawn escaped your lips before you nuzzled your head into Thomas neck. He raised his hand to touch the back of your head as he rocked slowly side to side.

“Sweetums, you can’t keep doing this. Okay? It makes me worried every time you come home bleeding all over the place. It also worries me that the blood will stain your clothes…” Thoma mumbles.

“M’ sorry, Thoma..” you whispered sleepily as you stifled another yawn. Thoma kissed the crown of your head before chuckling at your dreary reply.

“It’s okay, just promise me that you’ll try to be more careful, okay?” He knew couldn’t hear him, you had already fallen asleep. The soft snores coming from your form gave it away.

As long as you were safe now, that was all that mattered in the present moment.

Child reader would be having a blast because obviously all of their moms are friends with each other and there's absolutely no tension between any of them at all!

Dehya is the worst, she's sweating bullets. because she's surrounded by powerful (and pretty) women while she's just some random mercenary. (Candace would hold her hand under the table to calm her down though <3) But she feels like she doesn't belong there! She was never that good with kids anyways. You just fell in love with her because of how cool she looked wielding a claymore and her more laid back attitude. (She gave you an actual weapon once. It was tiny but you still treasure it. She even taught you how to use it!)

Ei is oblivious to her suffocating presence, she almost unconsciously thinks she has a right to you. I'm not sure how to word it but she just holds you on her lap because it's something she always does. She doesn't even notice or bother to think about how everyone else here considers themselves to have a similar position in your life.

Miko makes it ten times worse because she has this smirk that never fails in ticking off everyone within a three mile vicinity. Not to mention how Ei is sneaking sweets to you and Ningguang is about to start a whole war because THAT'S why every time you come to Liyue your hands are a little too nimble and handsy. And THAT'S why you're always full before dinner starts.

Beidou is trying to signal to you to sneak her some sweets. It's not working. But other than that she's holding onto Ningguang's hand and periodically squeezing it to signal to her to not start a war with other nations because of the fact that they're giving you sugar before your 3pm nap and you will not go to bed now and it's taking everything in Ningguang to not lose her goddamn mind-

Lisa and Jean are chill. Lisa notices everything that's happening, and Jean is just sitting there like she doesn't belong.

Lisa notices the copious amount of sweets you're being fed and calls you over. You obey and Ei wants to stop you but doesn't.

Lisa hoists you onto her lap, idly commenting about how you're growing everyday and getting stronger.

Lisa shares a glance with Jean and Jean goes on about strategy and whatnot like she's a war general but it's actually about how your schooling should be arranged between the four nations. Effectively taking the attention off of you.

Lisa hums a gentle lullaby in your ear while petting your hair and istg that woman put a spell on you or some shit bc you're out like a light in less than a minute.

A/n: Ahh thank you, I hope this is good :) I don’t really consider myself a jealous person so it was hard for me to separate what felt like jealousy from just being plain possessive? Nevertheless I hope this will do

• Jean was never really the pushy type when it came to her romances. She preferred a softer love, even if she was the more dominant one in the relationship, it always felt tender, as if it was a polite invitation rather than a strong push.

• Jean wouldn’t know how to react to a sudden feeling of jealousy, she’ll just stand in conflicting silence with wide eyes. Blinking once or twice as she stood up with perfect posture behind you, not knowing whether it’s appropriate to intervene or not.

• Jean won’t know what came over her. It might’ve been the advice from Miss Lisa when she observed a certain newbie talking to you with heightened interest. The words of aggression visualized in Jean’s mind, it was either fight or flight, and she chose fight.

It was like an itch in the back of her throat that she just couldn’t get, an annoying feeling that she just couldn’t shoo away. In almost an instant she remembered Lisa’s advice to her, to not be afraid to claim what’s hers. Such obscure yet poetic words gave her the confidence to act up when in such a situation. 

Within a millisecond Jean slammed her arm against the wall you were nearest to, backing you into a corner that you couldn’t escape. It was a move she had read from a romance novel that she was a fan of, she had fantasized about situations, but when she actually found herself in one she didn’t know what to do. You could feel the nervous heat radiating off of her, her breath slightly unsteady.

Grinding her teeth together her feelings of green jealousy were overtaken by a pink spread of embarrassment across her cheeks. You also stood in moderate shock in her arms, looking at her with your head tucked back into your neck in awe. It wasn’t like you were oblivious to the new recruits’ feelings, but their persistence was like an annoying fly that you couldn’t get rid of. 

Jean looked at you with her mouth slightly ajar as if she was about to say something else. Both of you waiting for her to give a reason as to why she acted so hastely. With a nervous swallow she said what she thought Lisa would say, “Why don’t you rest with me for the remainder of the day,” she said menacingly trying her best to look cool with a crooked smile on her face, her words made you freeze in realization.

Almost with pity and guilt that you made her feel threatened, you grabbed her waist, bringing her into a tight yet comforting hug. Although awkward, her approach to the matter seemed to get its point across. “Who knew the Acting Grand Master was such a clutz romantically,” she mumbled to herself while her head was against your shoulder. If you could characterize her feelings you could definitely see an explosion happening in Jean’s brain right now.

• The Shogun had no concept of jealousy, however, Ei was a different story. Although she was gentle and soft with you in private, in public she was still a tyrant. She’s not afraid to “mark her territory” using any means necessary.

• With sudden feelings of jealousy, Ei will make an appearance if not already without hesitation. She’ll make sure there is a divider between you and whoever is trampling on her turf. Making sure they realize this is her way of bearing her teeth at them as a warning. 

• Ei will pin you against the wall, not with the intention of controlling you, but to create distance mentally. She would hold you close to her, smuggling your head in her chest like she was cuddling a baby, protecting you with her own body. Even though physically you were all she was touching, her mind was focused on whoever put her under such stress.

Recently a nameless vagabond was getting close to you, almost too close, something that no one who knew your status with the Shogun dared to do. You weren’t sure if he was just clueless or confidently stupid. Life sparked into the Shogun’s normally calm eyes, you knew Ei way too well to not notice who was in control of the puppet.

She walked towards you with her head held high, a vibrant purple glow in her eyes. In response you backed up until your heels hit the wooden walls behind you, Ei taking the opportunity to cut off your exits with her arms. Your teeth chattering, you’ve never seen Ei so rough with you. Her free arm wrapping around your head as she forced you to suffocate in her open breasts. 

You could smell the fresh scent of amakumo fruit from her, the breeze from her breath tickling the top of your head. The feeling of anxiousness overwhelmed you, what would possess Ei to be so harsh. You would give it two good seconds until her hands slid around your head onto your chin, forcing your eye contact with her.

“don’t forget who you belong to,” She spoke to you as if the frigid Shogun was in control, but you knew better. She could tell in your eyes how frightened you were of her despite her body in such close contact with you as if she was trying to shield you from all of Inazuma. “Regardless of these misdeeds against me, you shall be excused.” 

With a hmph she quickly retracted, not wanting to create any mortal fear between you two. Out of all her ‘subjects’, you were one who she wished to be the most vunerable with. She was told once by a teasing fox that humans are easily scared, if she desires any eternal relationship, fear will easily misguide the mind and heart.

• Yae Miko is more lowkey with her feelings of jealousy towards you. She’s sly, manipulative, and clever. If anything she’s more passive-aggressive when she feels urgent about the matter. She’ll ease you into it, maybe making some petty jokes along the way.

• With sudden feelings of jealousy, Miko will back you into a corner with sweet words, isolating you further from this threat. She might let out a comforting laugh that sounded like it was laced in poison, her eyes might gleam red in the eyes of her potential competition. 

• Miko would swing around you, putting herself between you and the perpetrator. She’ll say her farwells as calmly as possible and then surround you like her prey into the next wall. 

You’re basically Miko’s cute little follower, whether she’s in the Grand Narukami Shrine or her Publishing House, you were right behind her. So naturally, she was a bit offended to see that the one minute you were separated from her, you were being courted by a random tourist.

It didn’t take her long to swing past and usher you into the darkness of the shrine, flashing a superior grin at the man. Her hands gently on your shoulders as she pushed you into the closest wall in the cover for privacy. Her smile was daunting, you knew due to her twisted personality her smile meant she was obviously upset.

Her hand snaked around your neck as her body pushed yours against the cold wood. Her womanly hourglass figure distracting you from the matter at hand. Her hands guiding you through her hips and curves. This woman knew her power whether it was mentally, verbally, or physically. Her sex appeal clearly was the way she found best to manipulate you. 

“You like that little mouse?” she whispered in your ear. Your teeth bearing in confusion, you hadn’t the slightest clue of what she was planning on doing. Yet as quickly as she acted to get you on her, she was even quicker to peel your hands from her waists. “May I remind you to not bite the hand that feeds you,” you found your legs weak, sliding down the wall till your knees hit the floor looking up at her as if you were begging for her forgiveness without words.

A familiar smile on her face, her hand rising to cover her lips as best as possible as she looked down on you. “Good girl, you look so lovely from this angle hmm?” She admired you. “Remember where you stand, I might just reward you for such efforts in the near future.” 

• Beidou is loud and daunting when it comes to her feelings of jealousy, she’ll essentially talk to you like a child who had done wrong. She’ll make sure the entire boat hears her scoldings towards you, they think of it as a warning to both you and them.  

• Sudden feelings of jealousy were somewhat foreign to Beidou, but dealing with malicious intent wasn’t. She’ll instantly get rid of the problem as she does with any other, making sure those under her know their place with a hearty pirate laugh only Captain Beidou could belch. 

• Beidou will make a whole strategy in her head. She won’t hesitate to pin you into the wall, first, it was to protect you from whoever tried their luck with you. After the threat was clear in her mind, she’ll turn her aggression toward you. 

The renowned Captain Beidou, such a powerful woman. Her name was recognized across the entire ocean, treasure hoarders begged that their hands may never touch her jewels. That included you, although your name was unknown, your face was vivid in their minds. If there ever came a time when someone dared to cross that boundary, you’d pray for both of your safety.

The captain dragging you by the wrist from the front of the boat to her office located in the back. A smile on her face yet you could see right through it. Her emotions still translucent to you, a vein popping from her forehead. “Ouch, Beidou you’re hurting me,” you winced, her grip like a vice on your wrist.

Your words seemed to not hold any weight in her mind, her judgment clouded by jealousy as she swung you into her office with paper-thin walls. Her hand slammed with enough force to scare you against the closest wall, she was careful not to tear right through it. A clear frown on her face and her squinted eyes strained from her twitching toothy smile. 

“The moment you stepped foot on my ship you signed the contract to be mine,” she spoke to you so scarily. “Do me a solid, and remember that for the rest of your life.” Her index finger poked you on the shoulder as if she was accusing you of something, the veins on her forehead almost doubled.

It was obvious how scared you were, shaking in your boots, sweat drenching your hands. Beidou must’ve noticed you were like a confused puppy in her arms, her attitude suddenly clearing as she backed off quickly. “I apologize for my behavior, being sensitive to these matters never helped,” she dusted off her shoulders awkwardly and cleared her throat. “I just find myself a little jealous and it seems controlling these feelings of mine isn’t my forte yet.”

• Eula definitely prefers if her interactions are more private with you, especially when it comes to feelings such as jealousy. She’ll sit there and huff and puff until she has a moment alone with you, ensuring that you remember who you’re just entertaining vs. who is your ride or die.

• When Eula gets jealous all of the sudden, she’ll mumble under her breath so that no one can hear. She’ll look very obviously annoyed because she knew if she acted up she’d regret it in the future. Even though she didn’t claim the cursed name of the Lawrence clan anymore, she was still a former aristocrat and knew self-control better than anyone. 

• Eula will undoubtedly spout some nonsense about vengeance in the moment. However, she won’t feel like her usual verbal course of action is enough. She’ll have to act physically if she really wants to feel like what she’s saying has any weight.

You both occupied a crowded tavern earlier that night, barely five feet apart from the next person, Eula gripped your waist to keep you close to her. She had a keen eye even if she was a couple of drinks in, looking out for any creep that might approach you two. It wasn’t until a random man started fancying you, even if you were glued to Eula’s side, he probably thought it was just a girly thing that best friends do.

Clear evidence of annoyance on Eula’s face as she recalled the events unfold, she offered to walk you home during such late hours. However, it kept eating her up inside, the image of a scummy man even talking to what belonged to her. Eula never had much when she decided to stay in Mondstadt, so whatever little she managed to scrape up was heavily guarded and equally as precious to her. 

Her thoughts corrupting her brain as she chose the nearest darkest alleyway in between two discreet houses to trap you in. Bearing her teeth as she caged you in with her body, her scent wafting out as hot air to you in the night breeze. Her face hovered just centimeters away from yours as she stared at you unsure of what to do next.

She clinked her forehead to rest against yours, staring at you with her icy amber eyes. “How bothersome,” she sighed underneath her breath. “Never let another man even look at you, understand me?” Even after demanding such a ridiculous request from you, you saw no evidence of shame or playfulness in her face.

Her lips float just over your peach fuzz, “I don’t want to feel like this again,” she mumbled. Her eyebrows furrowed in frustration. “Tell me- how am I supposed to exact my vengeance if I am worrying over such trivial emotions such as this,” She tried to find some answer to her troubles. But every time she said anything she felt like she would just hit another mental barrier.
