So here we are after a month and a half of sketching out the kind of merch I want to feed my hyperfixation. Not every initial thought survived and I won't touch acrylic standees until a later round, but right now I want to get these done and in my hands by fall of this year.
This is a Brand New Horizon and only intended to be a side project, so bear with me while I figure out how this shit works.
If interested in anything, please fill out this form I slapped together on Google in an hour.
(We'll, uh, revisit art prints at a later date, maybe after I finish Gravity Well and update The Stars)

What’s In A Name [ Din Djarin x OC ]
Tumblr media
[ Post season 3 / no smut (but allusion to it?) / fluff / established relationship ]
Contents: Din Djarin’s wife finds out that naming conventions on Aq Vetina aren’t the same as Mandalore.
Notes: based almost entirely on the works & verse established between myself & the incredible @joelsgirl . Couldn’t ask for a better writing buddy & friend 💜
——
Nyssa has lost count of how long exactly she’s been with him. Long enough that she knows beyond a doubt that he’s her person. That anyone else in the galaxy could want her and she’d be blind to them, because for her, there’s nobody else.
Originally she had meant to be nothing more than a bounty, a quick way to make some credits. A mouthy droid mechanic that he’d picked up on Tatooine but gotten inexplicably attached to.
They could have gone their separate ways, but she had chosen him, just as much as he had chosen her. She would always choose him.
The day he put the beskar choker around her throat - engraved with the symbol of his clan, the Mandalorian equivalent of a wedding ring - she felt like she could finally breathe. Like she could exhale a breath she didn’t know she had been holding, finally secure in knowing that she meant as much to him as he did to her.
She hasn’t taken it off since. While she’s an outsider, unbound by the Creed, the necklace marks her as one of them. Part of his clan. His family.
Him, her, and the kid. She knows Grogu won’t be their only child, knows this like she knows the sound of his boots approaching, knows her own name, knows the sound of their hearts pounding together late at night.
Which is why she currently feels like an absolute bonehead.
It’s been eating away at her for a few days now, since they settled into the house on Nevarro. The way the Armourer named her, named Grogu. Not as Vanyssa and Grogu Djarin, but as Din Vanyssa, Din Grogu.
The absolute shame when she realised that all this time, she’s been his wife, and she hasn’t even been using his name right.
“Why didn’t you tell me I was using your family name?” She peers down at him; he’s sitting on the bench on the porch, had been considering whittling a piece of wood into a flute before she came out to speak to him.
It’s nice to see him without his helmet on, though it’s sitting beside him in case they have unexpected company. By the laws of his religion, only her and his children can see his face.
He turns his head slightly to look at her, expression blank.
“What do you mean?”
“All this time, I’ve been calling you Din, but that’s your family name, right?” Nyssa turns red, ashamed that she didn’t ever realise.
He gives her a half shrug, gets to his feet. He doesn’t want her upset over it, it really isn’t that big of a deal to him.
“Does it matter? Everyone gets it round the wrong way. Mandalorians - born Mandalorians - go first name then last name.”
“But your birth culture doesn’t.” It’s a statement, not a question.
“No. On Aq Vetina, the family name goes first. Even though in every sense of the word I adopted the Mandalorian culture, values and Creed, I kept the naming convention of my home world.”
“I feel like an ass.”
“Why? I never bothered to correct you. Few enough people know my name as it is. What’s it matter if they get the order wrong?”
“It doesn’t bother you?”
He shrugs again. “A name is a name.”
Nyssa crosses her arms.
“I’m your wife. I’m supposed to know these things.” As she says it, though, she’s starting to get the idea that maybe he’s not as bothered by this as she is.
He’s used to living in societies where the naming convention goes first name then last name, not the other way round. That without him bothering to correct her, how would she know?
He looks at her with that same unreadable expression for a moment before the faintest hint of a smirk crosses his face, hands rubbing her shoulders in a comforting gesture.
“Frankly, I don’t care which of my names you use. Half the time, you call me daddy anyway, so…”
Nyssa sputters, cheeks going red. He watches her, amused by her embarrassment.
“Truly, though, love. It doesn’t matter. You know now.”
Wrapping his arms around her, he pulls her nice and close, leans down to kiss her.
Immediately she loops her arms around his shoulders, one hand settling in his hair as she leans into the kiss.
“You know… about that daddy thing…”
He freezes, stares at her in complete shock.
“Are you-?”
She gives him the smallest, shyest smile that is so unlike her usual confidence that it almost melts him.
“I hope the house is big enough for a clan of four…”
He says nothing, leans down to kiss her again, soft and gentle and loving. Damn, guess the work on the house can’t wait after all.

Thank you for the tag, @littlemisspascal! ❤️ That looks so intriguing!
I had to find something that actually made some sense. 🤣 (From Shatter Part 4. What? Who said that?)
"Ah," he said again, with more emphasis this time. "I'm sorry to say, but it'll take a lot more than batting your eyes at the matches to help you blend in." His eyes cut your way. "You're not the kind that people don't notice."

Something something tag game
I was tagged by @burnticedlatte and I should be working, so obviously I'm doing this now.
favorite color: depends on the mood, but blue usually wins. creative, i know.
last movie/tv show: movie, halfway through the outsider, "tv" show, 7 vs wild
currently watching: the cursor blink in notepad while I ponder the answers
sweet/spicy/savory: sweet
relationship status: not anyone's business, is it
current obsession: I'm out-obsessed after spending every waking hour for half a year on Till Death, but video games always work
last google search: how would I know, I don't even remember where I left my water glass
Why are those always so boring. Why not currently reading, or last game played, or last little treat bought, or most used emoji, or favorite font, or—

another ASOIAF AU doodle dump; recent sfw stuff from twitter & instagram, this time mainly focused on the kids 🥺 BUT also featuring uncle corbyn 👀 prince corbyn and his half-sister daenerea don’t get along in this AU at all--the sad consequence of unfortunate circumstances that they couldn’t mend between the two of them. because of this, he’s bitter towards her kids, something that just widens the rift between the two of them. but here’s daenerea with new little baby jacaerys, she and her husband dorren in bed at winterfell, protective mama daenerea with little gaemon and baby taella in the back facing off with prince corbyn, corbyn & dorren facing off with gaemon & taella and then little jace, dorren telling his sons to take care of their mother before he goes further north, daenerea and jace on dragonstone with new baby laena, and then the grown up kiddos 🥺🥺 from l - r: aerion is the baby of the lot, taella and gaemon are the eldest, laena is the second youngest, and jacaerys is the middle child 💛

(not) Six Sentence (definitely not) Sunday!
Thank you for the tags @swtorpadawan and @magicallulu7!
WIP: Crescent Moon Rising, Chapter 3
Patience.
Orgus. He sighed heavily, but- his master was right. He needed patience. He couldn’t rush ahead out of guilt, or frustration, or even blind compassion. For even if his skills were sharp and his connection to the Force strong beyond many of his peers and seniors, he was still learning to know himself. And the more he tried to rush, the less quickly he’d learn, and the longer it would take for him to be able to truly help the people of the galaxy.
There was a sudden puff of his master’s amusement through the echoes of their developing bond, like the gentle wind tangling his white fringe into a blizzardy mess on his head - and it curled fondly about him, prickling with the finest hints of exasperation. Corrain blinked owlishly into the roaring flames, nonplussed by the response- and then startled in surprise when Ranna’s hand landed solidly on his shoulder, her expression wobbling with concern.
Tagging: @fenrisprime2003 @ipreferfiction @sith-shenanigans @fireolin @voiceofthetraveler @starwers @plotbunny-bundle @borealtwilight @darthcatboy and anyone else who sees this and wants to do a (not) Six Sentence (not) Sunday!

cool so they are going in the exact direction i didnt want them to go with the mandalorian. so the elitist, entitled, white woman who outright insulted boba to his face and told him he is not truly a mandalorian despite his links to the culture through jango is going to lead and unite mandalore.
the woman who is the exact antithesis of what the mandalorian culture is, that believes that anyone and everyone can be mandalorian and that blood does not matter, is going to rule and unite the people she had a direct hand in fracturing
fucking bite me filoni. and you too favreau.

Remembrance - General of Metal sneakpeek
Tumblr media
A/N: Remembrance is basically a spinoff for my Din Djarin fic. It allows me to create more backstory for my OC, Alora, without randomly dropping stuff into the current story. So enjoy this tidbit :)
~~~
"Surely there's a better way to do this." Alora mutters to herself as she stares up at the vents in the ceiling.
"Well, what do you suggest?"
Looking over her shoulder at the sound of an accent-heavy voice, Alora's eyes fall on the Jedi entering the hallway from the hatch to the Republic ship. He's taller than she is... most people are since she's only fourteen. The bearded Jedi stood at a height nearly seven inches taller than her. If she hadn't known him to be a friend, she would've been intimidated by his stature. Master Obi-Wan Kenobi was a man of grace, wisdom, and strength. He'd become somewhat famous - not only in the Temple but in the Republic.
"Well, for starters, how about I don't go climbing through the vents of a Separatist ship?"
"We need your eyes. To scout the area and to find General Grievous. But, if you think you can't do it..." Kenobi arches an eyebrow in a taunting manner.
"Hey, hey, I can do it," Alora scoffs. "I just would rather not climb through a vent that's all," she shrugs.
"Alora is claustrophobic."
Master Thorn steps in, following Master Kenobi through the hatch. She's wearing her standard tan robes and armor, similar to Master Kenobi. Alora smiles at the sight of her master, but the smile is quickly replaced by a small frown.
"I am not claustrophobic. Why must you spread lies, Master?"
"My apologies, Alora," she smiles mischievously.
"Maybe you should practice a new exercise, Master. While I practice my meditations, you write lines or something... Something like 'I must not tell lies'."
Kya beams in amusement and Kenobi shakes his head in exasperation.
"The way you two bicker... It's like you're sisters."
"Maybe we are," Alora smirks, focusing on the screws in the vent opening above her and raising her hand. They start to turn, loosening their hold on the grate. "After all, she's not that much older than me."
"Master Thorn is nearly ten years older than you, Padawan Caddell."
"Yep, not that much older," Alora smirks, knowing that she and her Master are starting to remind General Kenobi of his old Padawan.
"Are you trying to call me old, Master Kenobi?" Master Thorn raises an eyebrow in amusement. "Surely you should consider the fact that you are older than me before commenting on my age."
"I can't deal with you two," he grumbles, starting to walk farther into the hallway.
"Got it."
The screws and the grate cover clatter to the ground at Alora's feet. She quickly scoops up the screws and stuffs them into a pocket on her belt. Master Thorn looks at her in confusion and Alora returns the look with a shrug.
"You never know when I might need them. Maybe Grievous likes to eat them."
"He's not actually a droid, Alora. And even if he was, droids don't eat."
Alora snickers at Obi-Wan's groan in the distance.
"Hey, I'll still throw them at him. Mark my words."
"I don't doubt it," Obi-Wan mutters, walking back toward the two Jedi. "Are you going to get in the vent or not?"
"Why? Do you wanna take my place?"
"Alora, pester Master Kenobi any further and he might throw you into the vent," Master Thorn chuckles.
"Yes, that would be entertaining," Kenobi muses.
"Nuh-uh, I'll go up on my own."
"Go on. Keep your comlink active and give us updates," Thorn nods, shooting her a small smile.
"Yes, Master." Alora nods, trying to hide her shared amusement with her master from Obi-Wan. Jumping up, Alora grabs the edge of the open vent, hauling herself inside and shuffling forward on her elbows. "You know, this could be considered child abuse." Alora's voice echos slightly through the vent as she mutters to herself.
"I thought you didn't want to be treated like a child."
Alora groans as she starts to move through the vent. The smug look on Master Kenobi's practically radiates through his voice.
