I've been doubting whether I should do some sort of introduction for myself or just start posting, but tbh if I keep overthinking it I'll never do shit, so here's Faroff art cause new ep dropped last monday and I'm not normal about it

Tbh drawing Fenn is always so fun cause his expressions are priceless. Unfortunately I'm so used to drawing twinks all the time that drawing buff men is kinda out of my league lmao

This next one I drew using inspiration from the fashion of the 1920s.

Since Faroff is set in a fictional world based around WW1 and a bit on WW2 I decided to go for something in between, closer to the WW1 era. Thank pinterest for providing me with the references for the clothes lmao

her first relationship from mor dhona concurrent with becoming an adventurer. there wasn’t love between them, but there was a great fondness, and flighty wanderlust pulling them apart. how could alia give them her full heart when it was so set on the horizon? things end in a mostly amicable split, any residual bitterness fading with time.

[velle is a they/she nb lesbian viera and a botanist developed from a retainer I’d made in my early ARR days which inspired the idea of a pre-game relationship and spiraled into a side oc]

K’LYHIA

a fleeting crush turned good friend. quiet companionship in the arcanist’s guild leading to a few nights out in limsa restaurants. initially an appeal of something more, but scions business again pulling alia away before she can really invest in anything together, and the what ifs of if there’d been more time. still the occasional meeting and letters recounting each other’s ongoings despite the lapse.

MINFILIA

her first love and first real heartbreak. mutual confidantes and each other’s hope, friendship formed through an understanding of the echo and responsibility to the realm, and love grown in the sanctuary and reliance found alone together. not nearly enough time in each other’s arms before it ends in selfless sacrifice and loss. an echoing love that carries in alia’s journey, never truly without minfilia’s influence on her or the lives of others, and a continued strength even without her there.

SIDURGU

her second love, but no more or less meaning than her first, only different. the exact person whom she needs at the exact moment that she meets him and the same in reverse. not a soulmate, but an active choice, one of constant trust and vulnerability and love forged through unconditional support in each other’s growth and hardships, no matter where duty or distance leads. always committed and eloped post-endwalker.

I have a whole world I've been developing for a fantasy novel, though I don't know what to even do with all of it, and I have three or four whole separate arcs, each with their own cast of characters.

My fav boys are from era 2, shall we call it, and they're the members of a flying ship.

The captain (my absolute fav little guy Velle) is a monk who's lived with the local royal family since he was young because he serves as paladin/embodiment for the local deity, and of course the royal family wants to curry favor with the local deity and the temple. Despite the whole Thing, Velle and the crown prince are actually really good friends, having grown up together and being the same age. Velle sends him back exotic plants and birds from his travels, which the prince (Ran) keeps in a greenhouse so they can actually grow in the snowy landscape of their homeland.

Velle travels with friends he's made along the way, including his admiral Tres, who's a local guy from the nearby town, Nova and his two siblings (fun redhead triplets), Fun, who's an orphan they found alongside Ballad, a strange man who can't remember anything from his past.

had a dream that me and 4 other mutuals were hanging out irl and all our ocs were there too and we were all sitting around my room talking about our oc lore and stuff it was so silly and fun

and the tllr mystery character was there taking up all the attention hahahaha i think this is a sign for me to write. i’m sooooo excited to introduce them
