Safe Object Storage, colloquially known as SOS, was a section that existed in every containment building, whether Heavy or Light. Inside were kept designated Safe SCPs, though their level of danger determined in which section they were kept.
You didn’t understand 079’s directions or 682’s confidence until you read the designation of one of the glass cases.
“I estimate that this object will be the most useful,” 079 pronounced as you set him on a nearby table. Your arms were starting to ache now that 682 had grown to the size of a kitten. He reminded you of one too, jumping onto the case only for you to dislodge him by lifting it.
The jade ring lay inside, polished and gleaming in its velvet ring holder. Yes, it certainly would help, but you placed it into the pocket of your lab coat for now. You’d only used it once, and from what you remembered, the effects had been… intense. You’d rather keep it tucked away until you absolutely needed it.
You also grabbed SCP-178, the pair of stereoscopic glasses that to the average person allowed them to see instances of 178. During testing, you’d discovered you did the opposite—make the entities manifest in reality. It could prove useful, though you had no idea if you could control the creatures in any meaningful way.
Other SCPs were looked over and passed, either because you were unsure of your effect on them, or they simply wouldn’t be helpful. The last one you examined, you left where it was, not even bothering to lift the glass.
“Don’t get soft now,” 682 growled from where he was perched on your shoulder like the world’s most belligerent bird. “You need to use all the weapons in your arsenal.”
The Soviet GP-5 mask seemed to stare up at you, its dark, circular eye guards like a pair of empty sockets. As soon as you’d been forced to wear it during testing, you’d known what it truly was. The official SCP-1499 document stated it could “transport” its wearer to a bleak, alien landscape filled with violent beings of unknown origin.
In actuality, it teleported the wearer to somewhere in Russia, making them believe the buildings they saw were of alien design, and the people they saw were hideous monsters. You’d known this, just as you’d known a previous wearer—most likely a Foundation agent—had decided to attack these “creatures,” not knowing the truth of what they were doing.
What you had done to the mask was worse. As soon as you’d donned it, you hadn’t gone anywhere; you’d forced five of those “monsters” to appear in the testing chamber with you. The security personnel had fired on them until they no longer moved.
No one had confirmed it to you afterward, but you knew you were responsible for the sudden and unexplainable disappearance of five people in Moscow.
“No,” you said, placing the glasses in your other pocket. “This will have to be enough.”
“And if it’s not?” asked the reptile.
You didn’t answer.
The Site Director had an office in each containment structure, as well as in the administration building. If he’d retreated to the admin section, you would have been out of luck due to the retracted skybridges, but apparently, he hadn’t made it out of Heavy Containment before then. And those bridges wouldn’t span the gap, not even for a Site Director. Only an all-clear signal or an override from the O5 Council would open the isolated sections of Site-20.
After briefly plugging him into a nearby security console, 079 showed you the interior view of Leahy’s office. The angle was from somewhere in the corner, a security camera, and there was satisfaction in observing the Site Director trapped in a cell of his own. It had been turned into a makeshift hold, the sofa, table, and desk turned on their sides to provide cover from whatever tried the door, which was the only way in or out of the room.
You didn’t know who exactly he expected to show up. Leahy had no shortage of enemies, and now three of them were outside his door.
079 had warned you the guards were heavily armed, but he’d failed to mention they were MTF. At least you knew where 682’s guards had gone. They were covered head to toe in armor, Kevlar, and visors, and were trained to face the deadliest anomalies the Foundation had.
682 didn’t ask if you had a plan. You only had the one, and you slipped it over your finger, the jade band shrinking snug against your skin. The familiar rush of startling, brilliant awareness washed over your body, alighting neurons and nerves, filling your mind with thoughts faster than you could process them.
You set the laptop on the floor a few feet from the entrance, far enough away so the two SCPs wouldn’t become collateral damage.
“Open the door.”
079 wasn’t plugged into the network, but his fragment would hear you. You unholstered the pistol, checked the clip and chamber, and noted it would be overkill. You only needed three bullets.
The door slid open. As predicted, one of the MTF immediately pulled the pin from a smoke grenade and launched it toward the breach.
You stuck your arm around the doorway and fired. The bullet shredded the steel canister, causing a midair explosion of smoke and chemical residue. To their credit, the MTF didn’t panic as the office filled with smoke, blinding them. They were still in control, confident their training and armor would protect them.
You stepped into the room and fired twice into the floor. The first bullet ricocheted off the tile, bounced upwards, and caught a soldier in his chin guard, knocking his head back. The second entered his brain through the bottom of his jaw.
Before he could fall, you caught him by the straps of his vest and held him up, the bullets fired on you caught in the mesh of his armor.
The dead MTF still held his P90 TR in one hand, the stiff glove holding his finger against the trigger. You bent his arm back over his shoulder and squeezed the inside of his bicep, digging into the median nerve. His hand twitched, dying muscles rallying one last time, and the gun sent a spray of bullets across the room.
Now the MTF did start to panic, not expecting one of their own to fire on them, the smoke blinding them from realizing he was already dead. You didn’t aim for hitting them directly, instead herding them toward the side of the room away from the Site Director cowering behind his overturned desk. You only had seconds before their training overtook basic human instinct.
You released the arm and unhooked an ET-MP grenade from the dead man’s belt. Already the soldiers were coming to their senses, aware they’d left Leahy exposed, unable to shoot through the smoke for risk of killing him.
That split-second hesitation was the last piece falling into place. Shoving the armored corpse sideways, it hit Leahy hard, forcing him to the ground and covering him. You tossed the grenade and aimed into the smoke.
It bounced once, and on its returning arc upward, you squeezed the trigger.
“GRENA—”
The explosion bloomed at hip height, briefly revealing the three soldiers in the smokey haze before sending a shock wave across the room. It slammed you back against the wall, cracking the concrete surface from the force of your body. Without the ring, you would have been little more than a broken doll thrown by an angry toddler.
As it were, your brain ached like it had been rattled in your head, your ears filled with a high-pitched whine. Your right ear couldn’t hear anything beyond that. You coughed, the smoke in your lungs reaching a level of irritation you couldn’t ignore. The vents in the ceiling whirred to life, 079 clearing the air for you now that the smokescreen was no longer needed.
You staggered to your feet and ignored the distant pains of your body. If you were lucid and moving, you were fine. Grabbing the dead soldier by his vest, you hauled him off Leahy, finding the man was still alive, shaken but in better shape than you were. You didn’t know what you looked like, not having seen your reflection clearly since before the breach, but by his pale, sweaty expression, it wasn’t comforting.
His eyes shifted past you, and it was the only warning. You turned. There wasn’t much left of the soldier from the waist down, but that didn’t stop him from aiming his pistol at your chest.
The calculations were clear—you couldn’t raise your own pistol before he could squeeze the trigger. The muzzle flashed, the explosion of gunpowder worsening the whine in your right ear, but no bullet pierced your chest cavity to puncture your lungs.
A greenish grey blur flashed in front of you, taking the bullet in the side before hitting the tile. Instead of tearing through him, the slug was absorbed into 682’s flesh, and his size increased to that of a large cat.
The MTF had time to draw in a breath to scream before the entity descended on him, ripping out his throat in a spray of crimson that painted the nearby wall. A trail of gurgles left him before there was silence.
You left 682 to enjoy his well-earned meal, checking the rest of the bodies, or what was left of them, finding no other survivors. Your heart beat at a steady, strong rhythm, one that hadn’t changed from beginning to end.
“Are you armed?” you asked as if speaking to the room at large, though he knew the question was for him. Leahy had at least one weapon, judging by the shape of his coat, but you were curious if he would choose honesty.
“Yes.”
He understood there was no purpose in lying or fighting. Good.
“Toss them.”
Now you did turn, watching as he pulled a pistol and stun gun from within his lab coat, sliding them across the floor. It was the same stun gun he’d used on you when you first wore 714. Rage erupted along your nerves, dimming just as quickly. His suffering was assured, but now was not the moment.
You kicked away the weapons, not bothering to pick them up, your own pistol still held in one hand. You stared down at him. He seemed so… small from how you remembered. Or maybe you had stretched beyond your limits. With each passing minute, you felt less and less like yourself. Cold liquid seeped in your veins, as if the heat of your hatred had been inverted into endothermic apathy.
“Christ, Reid,” he uttered in a quiet breath.
682, who had grown to the size of a dog after eating what was left of the MTF, lunged at Leahy, trapping him further against the wall.
“Shit!”
“You do remember,” the reptile mused. He was large enough to start regaining his crocodilian shape, his green mane hanging over his eyes as he bared pointed teeth through a long snout. “I feared you had forgotten me, Site Director. Your shameful little secret, though I am growing by the minute. Perhaps I shall add your flesh to mine. You do not appear to be using it for much.”
He opened wide his maw, prepared to swallow the man whole.
“Don’t. I need him.”
682 paused, one yellow eye appraising you through his shaggy mane. Whatever he saw made him growl and snap his muzzle shut. Leahy flinched from the sharp teeth closing in front of his nose, and 682 gave a low chuckle. He moved away, perhaps to feed on more bodies or to return to 079. You didn’t care which. Your entire focus was on the man watching you with the same expression one would wear around an injured wild animal.
You raised the pistol and aimed between his eyes.
“I’ll tell you where 049 is,” Leahy said with a quickness that bordered on earnest. “But… you’re not going to like it.”
“Talk.”
Your tone was as cold as the slush in your veins. He winced.
“It would be better if I show you.”
“Where?”
“One of the medical labs.”
You waited to feel something. A rush of panic, or heart-clenching fear at 079’s words being proven true.
You felt nothing.
“Move.”
Leahy blinked, but beyond that, he silently obeyed. You kept him in front, pistol in one hand and the open laptop in the other. 682 stayed a few steps ahead, scouting the way for any obstacles, human or SCP, but the way was clear up to the medical lab. It was obvious why. The closer you got to your destination, the number of black stains and rust-colored ooze marking the walls and floor increased.
You were somehow unsurprised when he led you to the same medical lab where you and 049 had cured the anomaly-afflicted patients. Those empty beds were shoved against the wall, their haphazard arrangement indicating chaos. One gurney stood out in the middle of the long room, this one different for two reasons. It held wrist and ankle restraints, and it was corroded by black ooze and rust, the same kind infesting the walls.
“106 attacked before we knew what was happening,” Leahy said without prompting. “Most of our people were taken. 049 included.”
All you could do was stare at the gurney, and some of your rage broke through the icy surface.
“What were you doing to him.”
“Do you really want to know?”
He barely got out the words before you rushed him, shoving him against the wall and holding the barrel of your shotgun against his neck.
“Okay! Okay! Jesus.”
You put some weight on that shotgun, impressing on him the importance of speaking the truth and speaking it quickly. He eyed you, his hesitancy a bad sign, as if death by your hands might be the preferable option.
“We… were going to extract semen samples. Sperm donations for the project. But it was proving difficult, there was an internal sheath that was impossible to penetrate, so I ordered him to be surgically opened. We never got the chance—”
You backed off and aimed the shotgun at his face.
“I should kill you,” you hissed, some of that radioactive fury leaking through the cold.
“You certainly could.”
He was pale, sweat dotting his skin, and he was clearly worried, but there was a distinct lack of terror that was disappointing. You’d been certain a man like Leahy was a coward at heart, but being faced with his own death, he seemed oddly detached.
“Not going to beg for your life?”
He released a breath that sounded almost amused.
“Would it help?”
“No.”
“Then there’s your answer.”
You ground your teeth together. Having the Site Director on his knees begging would be a satisfying sight, but it wouldn’t save 049. You had to focus. It was getting more difficult the longer you wore the ring, your thoughts floating like silk ribbons in the wind if you had nothing to focus on. Your head was also starting to hurt like a sonofabitch.
Your vision drifted away, drawn to one of the large, rusted stains on the wall where 106 had either entered or left this dimension. Focus snapping into a focal point, you shifted your gaze back to Leahy.
“I have a better use for you.” You tilted your head toward the stain. “Go in there.”
He scoffed, disbelief slanting his features.
“I’d rather you shoot me.”
You lifted away the shotgun, pulled out your pistol, and fired it into his thigh.
Leahy screamed and clutched his leg, nearly falling if not for the wall behind him and your fingers suddenly gripping the collar of his lab coat.
“A shame you’re too old for him,” you growled. “If you were twenty years younger, I’d break both femurs, just to be sure.”
There it was, the fear in his eyes, clouded by pain and an animal need to run and hide. But there had been a purpose for the bullet.
682 appeared next to you, his own interest showing, though you weren’t sure if he was drawn by the agonized panting coming from the Site Director, or the blood dripping down his leg.
“As much as I enjoy the screaming,” he lamented with a sigh, “I cannot accompany you in that realm.”
“That’s fine. I won’t be long.”
You released Leahy and watched for him to collapse. He didn’t, but he clearly wanted to as he pressed down on the wound that refused to clot.
“F-fuck, Reid, I’m going to bleed out.”
Releasing an impatient breath, you pushed against his shoulder so he was standing upright, and before he could comment on the rough treatment, you snatched at his belt buckle and unlatched it. His expression would have been funny at another time when your veins weren’t burning with an arctic freeze.
With a yank, the belt came out of its loops, and you wrapped it halfway up his thigh. The bullet had entered above his right knee, the swelling tissue and damaged bone effectively keeping him hobbled. You needed him limping but conscious, because where you were going, you wouldn’t have the boons granted by the ring. You didn’t know how 714 would affect you while in 106’s dimension, but this wasn’t the time to cross-test anomalies.
The tourniquet stemmed the bleeding to trickle before it stopped completely.
“You’ll live,” you answered his pinched, angry expression. “The bullet went where I wanted.”
He wasn’t impressed, and he wasn’t grateful, but you didn’t need him to be. You only needed him weak and easy to control.
Stepping back a safe distance, you slipped off the ring. The world shrank on itself, your focus returning to its normal clarity and limited width, and the warmth infusing your limbs was a relief. You shivered, closing your eyes to slow down the readjustment.
It wasn’t just the physical differences. The thick mental barrier fell, and several different realizations and memories crowded in, vying for your attention even as you tried to hold them at bay.
Smoke, gunshots, blood and explosions. Four lives snuffed out, violently and without care, without a thought, only obstacles in the way.
Valens, tortured and assaulted for a project that was equally as cruel.
The plan to go into 106’s realm. You could still see the steps, what the colder, more alien version of you wanted. It was insane. How you’d had such certainty a moment ago and now wanted to run the other way was jarring. It was like dreaming you could fly, only to wake on the edge of a building and assume the same rules still applied.
And then, shooting Leahy. You didn’t know which part of you had done that, the lines too blurred to distinguish.
Speaking of. He was staring when you opened your eyes, though he hadn’t moved, not when 682 was close by, waiting for the Site Director to be stupid. It was a shame he wasn’t. It seemed shooting him was the right move, cowing him just enough to make him manageable.
Your own nerves were much more rebellious. Nausea roiled your gun, stomach threatening to heave after what you’d done, at what had been done to 049. Lines were being smashed to pieces, and you imagined more would be trampled before it was over.
But 049 had no one else. No one with clean hands, a clear conscious, and who lacked a mountain of growing damage caused and received. All he had was you, and it would have to be enough.
You slung the shotgun over your back but kept out the pistol, grabbed Leahy by the arm, and pushed him toward the rusted spot. It seemed solid, but as soon as he put his palm against the surface, he sank through like a thick, viscous liquid.
You didn’t let go, knowing the connection between the two sides might not be a linear corridor, and entering one after another might not put you in the same location. The Site Director was almost all the way through, and for a moment you were afraid the portal would bar your way, your own abilities keeping you from entering an anomalous space.
But the viscous rust slid over your hand, coating it in a distant cold/heat sensation that you instinctively knew should hurt, but didn’t. You kept a grip on Leahy’s coat, closing your eyes as it swallowed up your arm and then over your head, forcing your body to follow.
You endured the eerie feeling of pushing through a solid wall into somewhere that shouldn’t exist—and burst out the other side to infinite darkness.

Metal Gear/TF2 Crossover - cp_shadow_moses_event Chapter 10
Snake is dragged off to be tortured, but thankfully survives and escapes! Making his way back to the communcations tower, he's determined to finish his mission, regrets over Meryl be damned. Meanwhile, Liquid realizes there are holes in the stories one Dr. Naomi Hunter tells about her life, and finds his angle to find out what's going on.
Ao3 Link!
A little more MGS plot on this one, with a touch more Sniper being adorable. Also, a nice little fix for a small plot hole (or at least unaddressed thing) in the actual original game (how does Liquid find out about FoxDie?). And Liquid says "cunt"!
---------
When the elevator to the warhead storage opened again, the BLU team craned to look. Surely Snake wouldn't be back so soon, and it didn't look like the REDs were pushing back, so who could it be?
Sniper Wolf stepped out, her languid steps trailed by a pair of genome soldiers who were carrying an unconscious Snake between them.
Soft murmurs of alarm and disappointment swept through the team, but nobody made a move to stop them. After all, neither Snake nor FOXHOUND were part of their mission, and vice versa. Even so, the look on Wolf's face dared any of them to do something.
None of them dared.
All the same, Scout's gaze followed the voluptuous figure of the assassin as she passed, and he turned to see Sniper looking after her in turn. When they had finally gone, headed for the tank hangar and assumedly the holding cells below, Scout turned to his friend.
"The curves on that one, right?"
"Huh?" Sniper asked, as if snapping from a daze
"Come on, I saw you lookin' too."
"She had a PSG-1," Sniper replied sullenly, pouting once again.
Scout sighed and threw up his hands. "Man, Demo, will you do somethin' about your man? I think we broke 'is heart takin' that gun away!"
"Aw, lad," Demoman consoled, patting Sniper on the back, trying not to laugh at how pathetic he was being about it all. "Come on, we should push forward, aye?"
"Yes, let's move out, ladies!" Soldier barked, already halfway into the elevator.
*
He'd survived. In spite of it all, he'd survived. He hadn't given in, hadn't cracked, and had to take that bastard Ocelot on his word that Meryl was still alive. It ate at Snake's gut as he shimmied back into his sneaking suit, securing everything back into place and checking to see what was and was not missing.
The optical disk with all of Metal Gear's test data was gone, unsurprisingly. Everything else remained untouched, however. It was almost suspicious. They could have just taken all of his keycards, and if he'd broken out, that was where his infiltration would end, anyway. He'd have no way to escape properly, let alone proceed with the mission.
It seemed sloppy. Too sloppy for someone like Ocelot.
But then, he had accidentally killed Chief Anderson on that table, right? So maybe he wasn't as meticulous as he appeared.
Otacon's trick with the ketchup had been surprisingly clever, and he had to hand it to the guy: it was resourceful as hell in such a bleak situation. He'd been leery at first about how much help the good doctor could be, but after this, he was grateful to have the gangly engineer in his corner. With his freedom, his equipment, and the new keycard Otacon had smuggled him, Snake took a deep breath and prepared to charge back into the fray. He needed to get into that communications tower, and from there: onward.
*
It seemed to take forever, backtracking through the tank hangar, across the snowfield, through the warhead storage which now lacked any trace of RED nor BLU team, down through Baker's old office and the caverns behind. When Snake emerged into the canyon, the blood on the snow reminded him of Meryl, of the venom she spat at herself for becoming a burden to Snake, for slowing him down. She wasn't a burden. And though he'd told her, he needed to tell her again. In person. Once this was all over and she was finally safe.
"Snake, please! Save yourself! Go on living, and don't give up on people! Don't forget me!"
He wasn't about to give up on her. He wouldn't forget her.
Snake's codec rang as he approached the canyon, watching for any sign of eyes on the approach. He opened the channel. It was Campbell.
"Snake, about Meryl..."
"Colonel, I'm sorry."
"Listen to me."
"I wasn't able to protect her."
"Snake, she's a soldier. She knows that prisoners are a part of war. She joined up of her own free will. I'm sure she was prepared for this."
"No, you're wrong. Meryl thought she had to become a soldier... thought it was the only way. She said she thought it would bring her closer to her dead father."
"She... said that?"
"She wasn't ready for real combat. I shouldn't have pushed her so hard." A heavy breath left Snake's nose, rolling out as a cloud in the wintry air. "It's all my fault."
A soft static heralded Miller cutting into the call. "That's not like you, Snake."
"Master?" Campbell asked, startled. "What is it?"
"Sorry for eavesdropping, but I just couldn't listen anymore."
"Master..." Snake fairly whispered, almost fearing the brunt of another of Hell Miller's dressing-downs. He didn't know if he had the stomach for it now.
"Snake, you can have regrets if you want to. It's only natural. But you can't keep attacking yourself for things that happened in the past. That road leads to madness, believe me."
Snake believed him. Considering Miller's previous entanglements with Big Boss, Militaires Sans Frontières, the Diamond Dogs, and FOXHOUND itself, it wasn't a particular leap of logic to assume the master's notorious temper was its own kind of madness.
Mei Ling cut into the channel. "He's right, don't kick yourself. It doesn't suit a legend like you."
Snake was getting tired of being called a legend.
"I'm sure Meryl's just fine," she rejoined.
"Mei Ling..."
Campbell cut back in. "Snake. Forget about Meryl. Stop Liquid. That's what Meryl would want, too."
Snake nodded along. "You're right. Meryl would say the same thing."
"Snake," Naomi cut in, static on the line again.
"What?"
"Meryl... she's pretty special to you, huh?"
"Yes," Snake sighed, ducking into a crenelation to take a breath. "She's special. There aren't many women like her around."
"That's not what I meant."
"She's the colonel's niece. And a combat buddy."
"Is that all? C'mon."
Fuck's sake lady, they met—what?—a few hours ago? "This is like a police interrogation."
"No, I just—"
Campbell cut in, "I guess it's in the genes," he chuckled.
"Genes? What're you talking about, Colonel?"
"No, I just remembered about Naomi's grandfather. I think Naomi said he rose as high as assistant secretary in the FBI during Edgar Hoover's time."
Inquisitiveness in the blood. "Is that right?"
"Yes!" Naomi replied, put on the spot. "Yes, he was Japanese and he became a special undercover investigator to nab the mafia."
"When was that?" Miller asked, dubious.
"Oh, uh, sometime in the fifties, I guess," Naomi said, her voice clipped. She sounded almost nervous.
"Where?" Miller followed up.
"Uh, New York, I think."
"Naomi, I thought that you didn't have any family."
"Well, I—I researched it after I became an adult. My grandfather was already dead by the time I learned about him, I never even had the chance to meet him."
"Oh," Campbell sighed, his attempt at a mood-lightening anecdote dashed thoroughly.
"Snake... good luck," Naomi said, dropping the line.
"Watch your back, Snake," Campbell added before closing the channel.
Snake looked up at the southern communications tower, multiple stories tall and rising high into the blizzard-rimed night. He could hear gunfire and explosions inside. There was probably no other way to do this. He checked his magazines and prepared to go loud.
*
Liquid slammed his fist on the control room console. "That bitch; I knew there was something suspicious about her from the day she started working with FOXHOUND! It was just a matter of finding the right lie to catch her in! A Japanese man as assistant secretary under that racist cunt Hoover! Ridiculous! Dr. Clark might not have given a shit who she hired, but by God I do my fucking due diligence!"
"Shall I do some digging, Boss?" Ocelot asked, a cheshire smile working its way across his lips. Hunter's pet project being deployed was one thing, but Liquid realizing something was amiss, perhaps even discovering what it is? What an interesting thread to weave into this plot! It's not like it would change anything, and the boy's histrionics about it in the meanwhile would be deeply entertaining.
It's not like Ocelot had to worry about being programmed into it, after all.
"Yes. I want you to get as much information as you can about her, what she's been working on, and why she's really on Snake's radio team. Her being here and her dear brother running around the base chopping people up like this is a Benihana cannot be coincidence."
"On it, Boss," Ocelot hummed, spurs jangling as he moseyed away.

"Hi, Akira!" You greeted him as soon as you walked into the office.
The singer turned around with a bright grin and stepped forward to hug you. Then, his eyes fell on your deep V-neck dress.
In his severe moment of distraction, Akira awkwardly placed his foot down and lost his balance. Before either of you could register the situation, Akira had his hands on the curves of your waistline with his face buried between your soft mounds.
Neither of you moved, and both of your faces were bright red.
"Akira, we have to...." Kokuyou flung open the door to yell at Akira for being late to rehearsals, but as soon as the redhead saw the two of you, he frowned deeply.
Kokuyou grabbed the back of Akira's collar and pushed him against the wall with the side of his forearm pressed on the singer's neck.
"The hell do you think you're doin'?"
"W-Wait, Kokuyou..it's not what it looks like..." Akira nervously laughed.
No matter how much the two of you tried to convince Kokuyou that it was an accident, he refused to believe you. Now, you are no longer allowed to meet Akira alone in Starless, as all the members of Team W, Kei, Rindou, and Mokuren know what happened.
Tumblr media
You were helping Takami in the storage room, and while he was busy looking at the boxes on the shelves below, you stood behind a wooden table on your toes.
No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't reach the box. Noticing this, Takami walked up behind you and reached up. His right hand reached up while his left hand rested on your shoulder.
To prevent anything falling on top of your head, Takami pressed you firmly against the shelf with his body, which was firmly pressed against your back.
But the shelf shook a little in the process, and a small object fell on your foot, eliciting a loud groan from you.
Before Takami could ask if you were okay, Sin opened the door to the storage room and raised his eyebrows. His eyes shifted down to the desk, which hid your lower half and Takami's.
Clearing his throat, Sin turned around and walked away quickly. Realizing what happened, Takami stepped away from you and sighed heavily.
"Takami, what just happened?"
"N-Nothing..." Takami replied with a nervous chuckle.
Tumblr media
You were standing on a table in the storage room, trying to reach for something on the higher shelves. Sin offered to get it, but you were determined to get it yourself.
Successfully retrieving the object, you turned around a bit too fast to hand it to Sin but lost your balance. Noticing this, he ran to catch you.
But a moment later, your face was bright red. Though Sin managed to grab your thighs, you felt something hot on your underwear. On cue, Takami walked in to help bring the boxes to the office but froze in his tracks.
You were bent over with your hands on Sin's shoulders while his face was under your somewhat short dress.
Takami coughed and averted his gaze. "This is neither the place nor the time for this."
Without waiting for your response, Takami walked away. Sin immediately pulled away, his face as red as yours, and mumbled an apology.
Tumblr media
Takami was sitting on a chair in the office with a decent gap between him and the edge of the desk. His eyes were laser-focused on the game he was playing on his handheld console.
You had promised to help Unei with some of his tasks and needed to get behind the desk. Not wanting to disturb Taiga, you squeezed between him and the desk and began to sort some papers.
Unfortunately for you, an object on the other side of the desk teetered on the edge. However, you managed to reach out and grab it in time.
Noticing the sudden movement, Taiga lifted his head to see your butt a short distance from his face; moreover, your underwear peeked out from under your dress.
Nekome entered the office to grab a sample flyer for Team P's incoming event but stopped in his tracks when he saw you bent over and Taiga's head behind you, situated in the PERFECT position.
A smirk tugged on Nekome lips. "Taiga, I didn't know you were bold enough to do something of this sort in a public place. My little brother is all grown up."
Nekome laughed and walked out of the office to give the two of you space. Not knowing what Nekome was talking about, you stood upright and turned your head around to see Taiga's face resembling a tomato.
Tumblr media
Rindou's new performance outfit was complicated, so you offered to help.
As he sat on one of the benches in the locker room, you kneeled in front of him to help fix his red rope belt. Rindou watched you with a smile, thankful for your help.
You accidentally used a little more force than you meant to while tying one of the knots on his belt, and Rindou gasped out of shock.
Right at that time, Sinju walked in and gasped as well. He saw Rindou's back, and you were kneeling in front of him with your head close to Rindou's nether region.
The blue-haired man quickly yelled, "SORRY!" before running out in shock.
You and Rindou looked at each other in confusion for a moment until lightbulbs went off in your heads. It would take a lot of explanations from Rindou to convince Sinju that the two of you weren't doing anything.
Tumblr media
You grabbed a few makeup supplies for the locker room on Qu's request and turned around to walk out but failed to see a small puddle of water in the middle of the floor.
Nekome turned the corner from the shower area with only a towel around his hips. The moment he saw you lose your balance, he ran up to you and grabbed your waist to prevent you from hitting the floor face-first.
"Hey, Neko-" Taiga strolled into the locker room, but his eyes widened immediately.
You were bent over slightly while Nekome was behind you, holding onto your waist. Moreover, Nekome's towel was on the floor, leaving him completely naked.
Taiga yelped and ran out, leaving you and Nekome speechless. You had no idea what was going on until you felt something poke your underwear.
Tumblr media
You were in the recording studio with Maica. Hearing that you would get to listen to his newest song before anyone else, you jumped with joy, only to lose your footing.
In an attempt to save you from falling, Maica grabbed your waist and pulled you close to him.
Menou walked in to inform Maica about a change in Team P's schedule and was shocked to find you sitting on Maica's lap, straddling him.
Your dress conveniently covered Maica's hips, giving an illusion that you were hiding something underneath. And the way your faces were close, Menou assumed the two of you were kissing.
"Ah, so that is why you wanted to be alone with (y/n) in a soundproof room," Menou said with a chuckle. He walked out right after and made sure to close the door behind him.
Tumblr media
Menou was asleep on the floor in the middle of the hallway, as usual. Usually, you would notice him, but your face was buried in your cell phone.
Then, your foot hit something, and you lost your balance. You yelped in surprise and ended up on all fours. Hearing your yelp, Menou opened his eyes and sat up immediately but froze at the sight.
His face was under your dress, and his eyes were fixed on your underwear. Meanwhile, your face was close to Menou's nether reason.
Rindou was close by when he heard you yelp and hurried to check on you. But the moment he saw the scene, his lips tugged into a deep frown.
"Menou! (Y/n)! Get away from each other instantly. How could you do this in the middle of the hallway? What if some of the younger members had caught you?"
You quickly crawled away from Menou and hopped onto your feet. "W-Wait, Rindou! It's not what it looks like!"
But the leader of Team P refused to believe either of you.

An Interior Designing Starting Guide- Avyukta Handbook
Some common questions we all have while working on a project. Avyukta is here to help you with answers for them.
What is the best color scheme for a small living room?
Light and neutral colors, such as whites, pastels, and soft grays, can help create a sense of openness and make the room appear larger. Avoid using dark or bold colors as they can make the space feel more cramped.
How to create a cohesive and balanced look in a bedroom?
Choose a consistent color palette and stick to it throughout the room. Use complementary patterns and textures to add visual interest without overwhelming the space. Make sure furniture and accessories are appropriately scaled and balanced in the room.
What are some tips for maximizing storage in a small kitchen?
Utilize vertical space by installing wall-mounted shelves or cabinets. Use organizers and dividers in drawers and cabinets to maximize storage efficiency. Consider utilizing the space above cabinets or using hanging racks for pots and pans.
How do to choose the right lighting fixtures for different rooms?
Consider the purpose of the room and the desired ambiance. For task lighting, such as in kitchens or home offices, opt for brighter, focused lighting. For ambient or mood lighting, choose fixtures that provide a softer, diffused glow. Combine different types of lighting, such as overhead lights, floor lamps, and table lamps, to create layers of light in a room.
What are the latest trends in bathroom design?
Some popular bathroom design trends include using natural materials like stone and wood, incorporating smart features like digital showers and touchless faucets, embracing bold and vibrant wallpaper or tile patterns, and creating spa-like atmospheres with features like freestanding bathtubs and rainfall showerheads.
How can one make home offices more functional and aesthetically pleasing?
Choose a comfortable and ergonomic desk chair and set up proper lighting for task-oriented work. Declutter the space and invest in storage solutions like shelves or file cabinets. Add personal touches and decor that inspire productivity and reflect your style.
What are some creative ways to incorporate artwork into home decor?
Create a gallery wall with a mix of framed artwork, photographs, and other decorative pieces. Use floating shelves or picture ledges to display artwork. Consider using oversized or statement pieces as focal points in a room. Experiment with different arrangements and heights to create visual interest.
How to create a welcoming and inviting entryway?
Ensure proper lighting to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Incorporate a focal point such as an artwork, mirror, or decorative piece. Add functional elements like a console table or bench for storage and a place to sit. Use a rug or runner to define the space and add texture.
What are the key elements to consider when designing an open floor plan?
Establish zones or areas within the open space using furniture placement, rugs, or different flooring materials. Ensure visual harmony and consistency in color palette and style throughout the space. Consider using furniture with open or low profiles to maintain a sense of openness.
How to choose the right furniture and accessories to fit one's style and space?
Start by determining your desired style, whether it's modern, traditional, minimalist, or eclectic. Measure your space and consider the scale and proportion of furniture to ensure it fits properly. Choose furniture and accessories that complement the overall aesthetic and color scheme of the room. Don't forget to consider functionality and your specific needs.
We hope these answers help you with your interior design endeavors! Visit avyukta.com for further help and to find the perfect fittings for all your visions.

Creating a Home Office That Inspires: Choosing Handcrafted Desks & Cabinets
In recent years, the home office has evolved from a simple convenience to an essential part of modern life. Whether you're working remotely full-time, freelancing part-time, or managing household tasks and family schedules, your workspace should do more than serve a function—it should spark creativity, support focus, and reflect your style.
Tumblr media
A thoughtfully designed home office begins with the right furniture. And nothing matches the warmth, character, and timeless appeal of handcrafted wooden pieces. From a functional yet elegant wooden study desk to a stylish wooden console table and a practical wooden bookshelf, choosing artisan-made furnishings can completely transform your workspace into a place of inspiration.
1. Why Your Workspace Matters
Your environment significantly influences how you think, feel, and perform. A cluttered, uninspiring space can drain energy and focus, while a well-organized, beautifully designed room can lift your mood and improve productivity.
Studies show that natural materials—especially wood—promote calmness and creativity. That’s why incorporating real wood elements through your wooden study desk or storage solutions is not just about aesthetics, but wellness.
2. The Wooden Study Desk: Where Focus Begins
At the heart of every home office is the desk. It’s where tasks are completed, ideas are born, and goals are pursued. Choosing the right wooden study desk is foundational to creating a workspace that inspires both function and flow.
Benefits of a handcrafted wooden study desk:
Durability: Solid wood desks, especially those made from mango, acacia, or teak, can last a lifetime.
Character: Each piece of wood has a unique grain pattern, knotting, and natural tone.
Custom Features: Handmade desks can include drawers, cable management, or built-in shelving, tailored to your needs.
Styling Tip: Place your desk near a window for natural light, and pair it with an ergonomic chair. Keep the desktop clutter-free with only essentials like a lamp, notebook, and maybe a small plant.
3. Add a Wooden Console Table for Versatile Function
Not just for entryways or living rooms, a wooden console table can serve multiple purposes in your home office. If you’re short on space or prefer minimalism, a slim console table makes a great laptop station or writing surface.
Ways to use a console table in your workspace:
As a secondary desk for reading or creative work
As a printer or device station
As a stylish base for organizing office decor and supplies
Choose a design that complements your main desk but offers contrast in height, shape, or finish for visual interest. A hand-carved or fluted detail adds artisanal charm, especially when paired with clean-lined shelving and cabinetry.
4. Organize with Intention Using a Wooden Bookshelf
Even in a digital age, books and printed materials remain key components of a productive workspace. A wooden bookshelf offers practical storage while adding warmth and vertical dimension to your office.
Benefits of a wooden bookshelf:
Keeps essential resources within reach
Allows display of meaningful items—like framed photos, plants, or awards
Acts as a backdrop for video calls with added texture and professionalism
Design Tip: Choose an open-back bookshelf for an airy look or go with one that has closed storage at the base to hide clutter. Stagger vertical and horizontal stacks for visual rhythm, and mix in décor like vases or artwork to make the space feel personal and lived-in.
5. Coordinate Natural Finishes for Harmony
Wood comes in a variety of tones—light ash, rich walnut, warm teak, or dark mahogany. To create a cohesive home office, select furniture pieces that share a common finish or undertone.
You can match your wooden study desk with a wooden bookshelf in the same family, then introduce contrast with a matte black desk lamp or a neutral fabric office chair. Alternatively, blend woods with similar warmth even if their color varies slightly.
Complementary colors like soft beige, olive green, muted blue, or terracotta also pair beautifully with natural wood tones.
6. Embrace Handmade Details
What sets handcrafted furniture apart isn’t just quality—it’s soul. Small imperfections in the grain, slight variations in finish, and carefully carved accents remind you that a human hand was involved in its creation.
Look for:
Carved drawer fronts on your wooden console table
Hand-finished textures on your study desk surface
Rustic or sanded edges on your bookshelf for added character
These details add warmth and individuality to your workspace, helping it feel less like a sterile office and more like a room where you enjoy spending time.
7. Keep It Clutter-Free with Smart Storage
No one can thrive in chaos. Handmade furniture often includes clever built-in storage options that elevate both style and organization.
Smart storage ideas:
Desks with hidden compartments for tech accessories
Console tables with drawers for cords, chargers, or stationery
Bookshelves with adjustable or removable shelves for flexibility
You can also supplement with handcrafted trays, wooden document organizers, or baskets made from natural fibers to store loose items attractively.
8. Create a Workspace That Reflects You
Your office should be a place where your personal style meets professional purpose. Pairing a wooden study desk with decor that tells your story—like travel mementos, original artwork, or your favorite books—adds depth and motivation.
Final personal touches to consider:
A small indoor plant for a touch of green and fresh air
A hand-thrown ceramic mug for your tea or coffee
A soft rug underfoot to define the space
A handcrafted setting doesn’t just look good—it feels good. And when your workspace reflects your values and aesthetic, you’re more likely to feel inspired every day.
Final Thoughts
In a world of quick fixes and disposable design, crafting a home office with purpose matters more than ever. Choosing furniture made by hand—like a solid wooden study desk, an elegant wooden console table, or a versatile wooden bookshelf—creates a workspace where form meets function and creativity flourishes.
Handmade pieces are not only built to last, but built to inspire. And in your most productive hours—or your quietest moments—you’ll feel the difference that thoughtful design and natural materials can make.
Because when your workspace is built with care, your work reflects the same.
