Evidentemente possiedo molta di quella dote psichica che durante la pandemia era molto inflazionata come termine (quella che fa rima con delinquenza) e in più un innato senso di stoico martirio che mi chiude la bocca nell'attimo in cui mi sto per lamentare e poi vedo che puntualmente l'interlocutore sta messo peggio di me.

Questo è un grosso errore o perlomeno, se portato agli estremi ti strippa emotivamente come una pentola a pressione saldata ma riconosco i miei limito e - mi dico - perlomeno non faccio a gara di sciagure per essere citato nel remake dei Miserabili.

Sto rivalutando il concetto di salute mentale perché dopo averne parlato parecchi ad altri mi sono reso conto che, nel mio caso, la salute mentale non necessita di cure ma di salvaguardia.

Devo scegliere con cura le mie battaglie.

E sebbene battaglie evochi una presunta contrapposizione tra me e chi si frappone davanti a ciò che voglio ottenere, in realtà lo scontro avviene sempre e solo nel mio cuore ed è per questo che in un prorompente scoppio della succitata originalità voglio, come l'anno scorso, ringraziare ancora @autolesionistra che sempre in modo involontario mi ha restituito il senso di quello che provo, parlandomi di una canzone che mi ha fatto fare pace con una parte di me che mi accompagna da più di 50 anni.

Ve la voglio riproporre, scegliendo la versione sottotitolata (ha un testo molto denso e fitto) ma credetemi se vi dico che per quanto dolorosa, molti potrebbero riconoscercisi e proprio perché dolorosa potrebbe sembrare strano che io ve la faccia vedere (non ascoltare... vedere) per augurarvi buon natale e serene feste.

Poi vi dirò il perché...

Il motivo è che siamo tutti piccoli e persi nella continua ricerca di calore e conforto, quotidianamente tormentati dal ricordo di ciò che non è più e nella flebile speranza che il domani abbia meno nubi.

Eppure si va avanti lo stesso, con l'enorme peso dei nostri vuoti e la fragile leggerezza di inutili bagagli, perciò vi dico di volervi bene, di voler bene anche a quella parte di voi che disprezzate perché se siete qua a leggere ciò che scrivo è anche per il desiderio di fuggire da un qualcosa che invece vi seguirà per sempre.

Siamo esseri umani... e se questo a volte può sembrare una dolorosa dannazione io credo che invece sia un degno tributo a chi non è più e un meraviglioso lascito a chi sarà dopo di noi.

Well, I saw this question posted on Reddit, and I really thought it was an interesting question.(Letting it be clear, I'm not doing this to convert anyone, much less to attack, but because I'm tired of reading so many lies just to hide an obvious prejudice on the part of the fan base,and for the Sonadow fan, do you have arguments to refute these fans who take your peace, just search, this post has everything you need to deny these false fan statements)

And I decided to read the reasons why people attacked Sonadow/fans and to the surprise of 0 people, these were the justifications for attacking those who like the ship (I'll just summarize it in sentences)

"They hate each other, they don't even like each other, it doesn't make sense"

"they are both enemies"

"The people who ship this have enemies-to-lovers fetishes"

"there is no chemistry, people ship characters who only fight"

I think it goes without saying that nowadays these excuses have already been killed and buried by their current canons, right? And from what I've seen, this post is at most 7 to 8 months old, that is... is it serious that there are still people who really believe these lies? Or are they just empty excuses for not admitting that prejudice is the real reason for the attacks on this fandom and this ship? Anyway, I'm posting this to clarify what's true and what's not, making it clear I'm not trying to convince anyone, I'm just exposing the lies of uninformed fans

I responded to this person's post and made a point of gathering all the official evidence refuting these false excuses that the fandom gives to say such nonsense about the characters and attack the fandom:

They both don't have Chemical?: Sonic Prime is living proof that the two are incredible as a duo,the voice actors of Sonic and Shadow admitted that they think their ship is really cool (this on Twitter), Ian Flynn and whoever animates Sonic Prime They practically implied that they think it's a good ship too (in Ian's case he made a podcast on his YouTube Talking about how Sonadow would work as a couple during Pride Month, he practically confirmed that the two work well together in Cannon ) Of course, even after all this, depending on your personal taste, you might not like their chemistry, and that's okay, you don't have to, but saying that the two of them don't really resonate it's a lie

Do they both hate each other?: No! It has been denied several times, quite the opposite, if they care about each other it is canonical that they both care about each other

Enemies?: Also a lie! It exists in several products and interviews making it clear that they friends and allies! (Also a lie from an annoying or uninformed fan)

In other words, most of the excuses used to attack this ship have already been officially denied, for me all that remains is the prejudice of the fandom as a justification for attacking those who ship both.

And before someone annoying comes and says I'm lying, I have sources for what I'm talking about!

Ok. So,

I'm usually not great at knowing what is and isn't common knowledge, but I feel like I need to explain this one. So here's my entire thought process with evidence.

Transcribing what Charlie is pointing at:

Official merch indicates Kim has his own set of skills unique to Harry's - Volta do Mar.

Volta do Mar is a navigation technique wherein a traveller strategically enters a current so as to be spit out in a desired direction. At first glance, the technique appears counter-intuitive since travellers have to veer far off-course to reach the "good" currents. More than just going with the flow, the technique requires navigators to be completely at mercy to the flow. A feather on the wind. And Kim does this quite a bit when he (reluctantly) surrenders himself to Harry's unusual Detect-niques.

Volta do Mar is an in-universe technique used to survive the mental toll from navigating the pale. So we know that this universe's version of Volta do Mar is also used in navigation. Mental navigation.

SO. Navigation. Pale. Feather on the wind. Kim Kitsuragi. The Volta do Mar skill has to look like an aerostatic. Like, it has to. And the model aerosratic concept art from the artbook [image 4] kinda looks like a face already so stealing that, thanks.

But how to visually tie that back to navigating the currents...

So pale travel is made possible with an aerostatic and some radio waves. This sort of counteracts the "at mercy to the flow" description I used earlier as it gives the navigator more control, but this makes the comparison a better fit for Kim anyway, since he often does step in to set Harry back on course. Return of Tassita? I'm excited. Before now, Tassita hasn't seen the light of day, only appearing in the 2017 Workshop before the 2018 rewrites. We'll see what this character looks and acts like. Hopefully, they'll have an actual personality but we'll see.

About the casting of a male identifying actor as Tassita, I'm not sure how I feel about it. The coaches have always been ladies. When Volta and Wrench were covered by guys, the coaches and Joule were the only girls in the show pre-2018. I bet that Benz (First Cast Tassita) and all of the other Tassita covers will definitely do an awesome job and totally slay on stage, but I don't know how to feel about the genderswapped!Tassita. This may be just me and my tism brain but idk. I wish all the Tassita's an amazing run and to break all of the legs once it opens! (ofc not literally)

A Rusty and Pearl of color? Amazing. It's awesome that we're back to having a black Rusty since the role was originated by a black actor in London. Ray Shell, the original Rusty, has said multiple times that he's very thankful for getting to lead a West End show as a black performer and I love that this brings Rusty to his roots. Similarly with Pearl. There have been first cast Pearls of Color and covers of color before but they've been a tragic rarity. Ofc the queen Reva Rice originating the role on Broadway is continuing to do an awesome job on the Bochum stage. I cannot wait for these two to step into the skates of these iconic characters!

Overall, I'm cautiously excited. In general, I feel like the show is mixing the 2018 changes and some of the changes introduced in the 2017 Workshop. As for the new characters, we'll see more about them closer to opening night.

Now, to speculate. I feel like characters like Orange Flash and Grey Wolf may be racers or new Nationals of some kind. It's not new to add new Nationals so those names sound more flashy while characters like Porter and Lumber may be additional freight. Seeing context clues, Lumber might be some kind of wood transportation car ( i dont know the official name for it)

On my second go-round with the Volta/Iguazu fight in the alternate Attack the Dam Complex mission, and I officially hate it. I could say something about Volta's build being wildly overtuned, with a boatload of AP and some of the best weapons in the game. I could say something about how both Volta and Iguazu are obnoxiously difficult to stagger, Volta because of his tank legs and Iguazu because he shield turtles.

But no, what's actually pissing me off about this mission is: obviously, the best tactic is to bait one or the other out so that you're only fighting one at a time instead of both at once. Unfortunately, their movement AI is unbelievably stupid, prone to getting snagged on level architecture or getting distracted by a random MT when I'm trying to get them to chase me to a new area of the map. So much for that particular strategy.
