the last time I flew was in 2021. my dad was dying, then right after, my good close friend was supposed to have cataract surgery, I flew to both places. I was vaccinated by then but still worried. the n95s available at that time weren't the greatest.

trying again to recount this one dream i had that stuck with me awhile ago

This exchange between a female coach and 7th grade me has stuck with me for so long.

Now, I'll give her some benefit of the doubt that we had weighed ourselves at the school and I forgot, since this is an old memory.

I swear we didn't though. I think she assumed that all preteen girls weighed themselves often enough to know when asked. I never ever felt inclined to, so when she gave me a funny look and asked me how, I felt stupid. Was this what being a girl meant? Checking your weight? I didn't understand, I felt like an alien, yet again.

Hôm nay cùng shop hỗ trợ 'tiếp sức mùa thi'. Nhìn các bạn bước tới trường chợt nhận ra 4 năm trước mình cũng vậy: có chút lo lắng, bồi hồi sợ không làm được bài. Đan xen lúc đó là một chút buồn: đây là bài thi cuối cùng trong đời học sinh của mình. Mình cũng muốn khắc ghi 2 ngày hôm đó để mãi không quên: tiếng trống, tiếng tí tách bật bút, tiếng xôn xao đoán đề,...

Cũng không ngờ là hầu như giờ không còn nhớ gì nữa. Đến một lúc nào đó tưởng rằng dấu mốc đáng nhớ nhất cuộc đời lại trôi qua một cách bình thường qua dòng kí ức.
