Dottore is so girl dad, she takes after reader with her supprtivness and move for him despite it all ( obviously she has no real clue what her father does and is kept away from with much caution) she loves to snuggle up next to her daddy and demand attention much like reader after going for to long without ot

Dottore never once saw himself being a father, even when he has his child it still doesn't click sometimes due to how... unbelievable the whole thing is. Him loving you was already something he didn't foresee. But he supposes it's thanks to you that impossibilities can become possibilities for him. He's still not accustomed to seeing his daughter stumble into his office, his attention drawn away from his work and moving to put her back to bed.

He's still not used to seeing her sit on his desk, fiddling with all the trinkets and (safe) machinery she can get her tiny hands on. He's still not used to holding her in his arms, the foreign feeling makes him feel all too strange. It's no surprise, considering his childhood. How does he deal with these situations if he's never gone through them? But he goes through them for his daughter anyway, with your help of course.

Regardless of whether the child is biological or adopted, she would end up taking after both of you in some way after observing and being around for a while. The idea of her being a mini-you was cute at first, and Dottore soon found out it was quite easy to pacify her with some attention, but once she started copying your jokes and teasing him too, he wanted to bite you. Hard.

He tends to keep his mask off whenever his daughter is near, because every time he's with her, she reaches for his face and tries to pull it off. Thankfully, she doesn't seem perturbed by the scars on his face. (She just wants to be with her dad.)

Before The Wayne Came A Kane

Martha Wayne née Kane came from a very prestigious family even before she married her husband, the illustrious M.D. Thomas Wayne. Sadly, her family never supported her union with Thomas, so she largely cut them out of her life once she married and that certainly had not changed when she had a son.

Her strained relationship with the rest of her family is particularly apparent when it's revealed, at the release of her and Thomas' respective wills after their unexpected, tragic deaths, that she would not give her brothers or sisters-in-law custody of Bruce. They may be the last of his living relatives, but even in death she would never allow them to touch her baby boy. Hence, his care is left to the head butler, one Alfred Pennyworth.

She did have two sister, though. Two baby sisters, one who had been disowned and disavowed from the family long before her, named Alicia. And one who was far too young to take in her son, even if Martha had allowed it. Her name is Madeline Kane. As the only other acknowledged daughter left from Roderick and Elizabeth Kane, she is left to carry the burden of her older sister's legacy. And what a burden it was, to be constantly compared to a dead woman her family seemed to adore and loathe in strides.

It's really no wonder that the moment she gets the chance, she leaves her family in Gotham to attend a university in Wisconsin. There, she meets Jack Fenton. He can be a little clumsy sometimes, but he has an eye for engineering and doesn't like her for her family's name or wealth. He calls her "Maddie" when she says so, and he doesn't ask about the change.

She falls in love and the two are wedded in the blink of an eye, Maddie pregnant with their first child only a few years after graduation. In her family's eyes, it just further proves that any Kane daughter is cursed and doomed to failure. (Beth understands this. Bette learns this. Kate knows this.)

And all too similarly to her elder sister, when her son is just fourteen years old, she is killed: yet another unexpected, tragic death. Her husband and her daughter perish along with her. Just like her older sister, the only one left is her baby boy.

Only, Maddie wasn't nearly as forthcoming with her will, and there is no guardian marked for custody in his papers. The Kanes, who proclaim they are his rightful family, are more than happy to take advantage of this.

Bruce isn't close to his family, beyond perhaps Kate. But if there is one thing that he knows it's that his parents didn't give his estranged relatives custody of him for a reason. Alfred is stingy with the details, but he can confirm that much.

Bruce is left to fight an uphill battle, helping a mourning boy heal from his loss and fighting his extended family's attempts for custody at every turn.

This is Jacob Kane, Kate's father, Martha's brother, and Bruce's uncle. He's got the distinct red hair and do you know who else has red hair? Maddie. Jacob is a respected military officer and Maddie, in general, has always given me strong former U.S. agent vibes. But regardless, it makes sense that Maddie would know things or learned how to fight at an early age if her older brother left for military service.

Also, I just love showing Bruce's extended family and how twisted, complicated his family was long before he adopted so many children. And this also helps explain why Maddie is so cagey with her background. She only has Alicia left really, all the rest she keeps out and away for good reason.

But she can't protect Danny from them forever.

Plus, there's this really cool possibility for Danny to stay with the Kanes for a while and explore that avenue before he's ultimately brought into the Wayne fold. Danny gets to see what the upper crust Gotham elites look like with his own two eyes, beyond Sam's stories.

Anyways a side project that’s been on my backburner is doing a “what if?” redesign of toyhouse. For funsies. Like I did with furaffinity back in the day.

FOR THE RECORD i get why these sites don’t look fantastic rn. They’re indie projects with tight budgets and intended to be a lil imperfect so you want pay to customize them. But I just think these problems are fun :)

So i read "the monkey on his back" and now I just wanna see a fic where pigsy meets billy and its just like:

(stage whispering) "Marcus, slowly back away from the greek child, I know he looks friendly but we don't wanna risk pissing him off and suffering a fate worse than death"

Oh that would be so fun!

Like Pigsy will know instantly that he is blessed by multiple gods and tapped into the Rock of Eternity. He'll be like "I am not letting my monkey protege get mixed up with that pantheon. His smart mouth will get him into way too much trouble with one of the most powerful people on the planet"

Meanwhile Marcus is like "why don't you like Billy? He's literally so nice and one of the few people I really click with? He's just a normal kid, he can't hurt me."

Like Pigsy knows all about Shazam and the Wizards and Black Adam so he's appropriately wary of Billy but Marcus just thinks he doesn't like him for some weird reason.

Marcus having just found out Billy is Captain Marvel: I can't believe this! He's a freaking superhero?

Pigsy listening intently because Marcus just barged in all panicked: Wait did you not know that? We're really going to have to work on your magical perception.

Marcus: You knew?

Pigsy: you didn't? The kid's a walking supernova of magic, how did you not notice?

I'm going to have to write something like this! It's just too much fun to mix the secret identity shenanigans with Pigsy who just Knows but refuses to explicitly tell Marcus why he's weird around Billy because he thinks it's so obvious.
