Hello! I was wondering what your other favorite batjokes content is? This includes other tumblr blogs, video games, tv shows, comics, movies, and fanfics (other than your own which are amazing!) thanks!

Hello! My recommendations aren't really anything unique, but I'll give it a go.

Tumblrs:

Uhhhh, I actually don't follow many people, even people I'm friends with. I honestly find Unending Content on a dashboard to be a source of anxiety. But other than searching batjokes tags, I would point you to ask-jokeboi for a fun updated take on Joker, with plenty about his relationship with Batman.

Video Games:

Outside of Telltale, I want to pick just one Arkham game, but I'm stuck between Arkham City with its good story and its infamous batjokes ending/credits, and Arkham Knight which felt more muddled to me, but Bruce is hallucinating Joker perfectly in-character almost the whole time? Including a song and dance?? Like???

TV:

Batman: The Animated Series is the foundation of my Batman fandom. The batjokes moments that come to mind are Joker screaming for Batman's help in Joker's Favor, and Joker's wonderful eulogy for Batman in The Man Who Killed Batman.

Comics:

Diving into decades of comics has always been intimidating, so most of my favorites are those that stand on their own.

The Killing Joke by Alan Moore — The most obvious pick in the world, but for good reason.

Batman: Europa by Matteo Casali and Brian Azzarello — Second most obvious! But come on, Bats and J go off on an adventure in Europe, and Bane might as well be a batjokes shipper?

Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth by Grant Morrison — Joker calls Batman to Arkham during a riot, and sends him on a fun little psychological adventure.

Batman: Secrets by Sam Kieth — I find the story a little uneven and confusing (and the art isn't for everyone), but I still enjoy the interactions between Batman and Joker.

The Death of the Family and Endgame arcs by Scott Snyder — The most recent "classics," particularly the part with amnesiac Bruce and Joker.

Last Knight on Earth by Scott Snyder — Bruce lugging around Joker's head in a jar? What more can you want!

And how about a book? Batman: Inferno by Alex Irvine — Features Joker impersonating Batman.

Fanfic:

Halfway Across by Dracze — Unfinished, but still the fic, imo. Really, Dracze is the G.O.A.T. for batjokes fic so if you haven't checked their stuff out already, do it.

The Perseverence Project by ForDarkIstheSuede — Suede is like my Telltale Season 3 compatriot. Enemy Within Episode 5 came out, and we were both like "It ends like this over my dead body."

Perfect Game by Mystrothedefender — The sibling fic to my own Juce bowling fic. The idea started as a joke, then suddenly we were writing concurrent fics.

this knife, like silence by distortopia — Bruce desperately searching for Joker. It hurts. :D

#48 verse by DesdemonaKaylose — A great series taking off from the amnesiacs in Snyder's Batman #48, following Jack Doe.

No Safety on a Body by synthwave — A trans Joker fic that lives in the back of my head forever. It's so well written.

Thursday in the Danger Room by Merixcil — This one is not explicitly batjokes, but it punched me in the heart and I've never recovered. :) :) :)

Bat signal? What bat signal? by clawmachines — Another unfinished one, but it's good fun that scratches my itch to see the Pact up to nonsense instead of crime in the Telltaleverse.

The Hangover by cobwebcorner — I haven't read through The War of Jokes and Riddles, but I've read this fic of Batman trying to resolve it through, uh... other means.

Amusement Mile by TheMidnightOwl — Bruce taking Joker to the amusement park, twice!
