Seriously, even though they aren’t all related it does feel sad that Sentomaru has to see his surrogate uncle figure go against his surrogate grandfather figure due to orders. He really would at least hope Kizaru would have hesistancy due to what they had gone through in that flashback shown. Seriously, this shows it isn’t just a Garp thing.

One Piece chapter 1089 spoilers ahead...

So. God Valley was definitely where Enies Lobby was, right? Just look at the hole the weapon that hit Lulusia left. It's exactly like Enies Lobby. Lulusia is no more and whatever hit it, I don't think it was something Vegapunk did. Whatever it was, it's much, much older.

I'm not going to say it was a devine weapon but...maybe. Either that or lost tech from the Ancient Kingdom. Probably that. I mean. At this poit it's basically onfirmed that Imu had a user of the Ope Ope no Mi give them eternal youth/functional inmortality and that he's been alive since the war with the Ancient Kingdom so it's no wonder he'd taken a weapon from them (like a trophy of sorts) and he kept it with him all this time and the only reason he didn't use it much was because it's in poor condition.

Imu and the 5 Elders probably knew way back that Vegapunk was researching the lost century, but wanted him to successfully recreate the eternal flame before getting rid of him.

Its been 18 years since we saw Enies Lobby for the first time and just thought it was another strange thing with anime/manga logic, but NOPE. Here comes Oda with chapter 1089 revealing that Uranus possibly caused the whole years ago. Fucking insane. I wonder that use to be there before it became Enies Lobby

Episode 1089. Loved the new opening. Despite our faves (apart from Straw Hats) almost keeling over (one more frame and!), I'm taking hope from the fact that they're in the opening.

i can’t lie: they did a crazy good job with the setting, animation and tone of the lulusia incident and imu + the gorosei. a very chilling sequence that delivered on the impact.

As i was catching up on One Piece a theory came to mind based on the newest chapter

I already said yesterday i think Uranus is the reason Enies Lobby looks the way it does based on what happened to the Lulusia kingdom. I said i at the end i wonder what it was beforehand and i think i figured it out

I think Enies Lobby used to be God Valley. I think Imu decided to erase God Valley to either hide something or as a punishment for what happened that day.

They then built Enies Lobby to hide what they did. This would explain why God Valley just disappeared with no explanation.

Im now slightly more excited to find out what happened at God Valley caz if im right what happened to cause Imu to want to erase it
