The angst potential alone haunts me. How long do you think he waited for Ford?? When did it start to sink in that nobody was coming to save him, that nobody would miss him? Would anybody even want him back? How long did it take for his anger, his heartbreak, his grief to turn into acceptance and a belief that this was divine retribution? How long did he work, how many jobs did he take, how much wealth did he accrue, how many brushes with death did he have until he believed he’d “earned” the right to go home and see his brother?? Many such questions. I need to go deeper

It is not the most showy content at the moment though....but soon!#I have made more spritesheets + wrote a 20 page script for the beginning of the game + lots of mechanical stuff.#OOH and our main town has a map and I've hammered out most of the major character designs!#(I have a comic I will share later this week about how character design talk in a team setting has been going so far.)#This gif is to share a little bit of whimsy and joy with you all. Ghosts mess with electronics, right? What if the ambient ectoplasm in the air around Amity messes with calls headed to the Justice League in particular (if you want some angst for Danny maybe it’s somehow a result of his protection obsession affecting his haunt, like it wants to help before others can, or wants to protect his haunt from outsiders or something) but after an Event - perhaps when Amity gets sucked into the Ghost Zone? - They all go through at once and the JL is absolutely bombarded with calls.

Or, perhaps the calls go through after Amity is destroyed, and the JL has to deal with years and years of “Ghost calls” from a town that no longer exists (lone survivor Danny?) kind of like radio waves can be detected in space ages after things have changed at their source.
