and people like read her lips and it's so funny because she'll just cuss them out not knowing there's a camera on her

like she gets pissed but since she can't get involved, she'll just talk to herself as she takes pictures

they become reaction pictures

the caption would be like "when my mom pisses me off but i can't let her hear" or something like that

there are a lot of videos of manager being really sassy but there are PLENTY of her being a sweetheart

especially to fans!!!!!!

not necessarily like clips or anything but anyone who's met her LOVES HER

so she just rubs it in their faces to get them angry LMAOOO, its very funny to witness

‧˚₊⋅ ──── faith’s tell-all. to everyone who’s ever shown my writing love / support, thank you to the stars and back— it means everything and more. also, i’ll be leaving again, perhaps for good. all i’m gonna say is that my thoughts / emotions aren’t doing good at all right now, and this app is the cause of it (for the first time ever). obviously, i don’t like feeling this way, and i certainly don’t want it to reflect in my writing / my actions on this app, so i’m probably gonna dip. i don’t really like talking about my feelings (in general, but especially on here) or asking for pity, so i’m not going to bother y’all with that. anyways enjoy this one, hopefully see ya soon <3

> “protect sammy,” was the only thing dean remembers from his younger days for the most part. only thing he knew. i could delve into the absolute nitty gritty, the abuse, the hardships, the burdens that both sam and dean endured, but if i think too hard about it, i get mad— because no child should have to raise another child. ever.

let me be very clear on that, and this: most of the family dynamics in supernatural are not healthy by any means— but they are a reality for many, which is one of the reasons why people resonate with the show.

> now, throughout the show, we can see that dean is potrayed as somewhat of a father figure / guardian type— from regular children to monster children, to ben, jack, claire, kevin, etc. maybe more of a ‘fun uncle’ type situation, since he’s told kids (and thus, the audience) time and time again that he is not someone to look up to, or to become. which is a double edged sword.

because on the one hand, dean has a point: he’s self-deprecating, an alcoholic, has a temper, treats people like shit, and makes rash decisions that usually end in violence or a shattered bond.

but don’t think that’s everything. dean’s self-deprecating because that’s all he knows. and how the hell else would he treat himself? he’s an alcoholic because everyone that was around him drank when he was a kid— and the father figures in his life didn’t promote sobriety at all. he has a temper because when he can’t control things, that means he can’t control the outcome. he doesn’t know what’s gonna happen, and that’s why he gets so angry all the time. he treats people like shit, mostly because the ones he does treat like scum usually deserve it. the rest are because of his big stupid mouth. the rash decisions come from a place of pure panic, fear, and worry about his family— instilled in him since the night his house went up in flames.

now, all this to say, dean is a good person, deep down. because we see all throughout the show that dean wants to be better, to stop being the way he is when emotions do eventually get the better of him, to stop the habits he’s created.

> and it’s no secret that dean winchester was forced to raise sam— yet i feel that it’s severely overlooked in the show itself. sure, we do see flashbacks once in a while of a young dean taking care of a young sam, but people (including myself) brush over the fact that this was pretty much every day for dean. weeks, months, years, a decade? taking care of his brother, always before himself. let’s dive into my mind of what i think happened:

> dean stole for him and sam. obviously, yes, we all know this, since it’s canon from the show— but that was dean’s ever first crime: shoplifting / petty theft. the cop let him go, though, until one of the next towns a few months later when dean got too cocky with the cashier and smartmouthed the deputy. that landed him in a holding cell.

> dean also protected sam at school. and yes, once again, this is shown in the show, but dean was a grade-a menace when it came to his brother. shit talk dean all you want, call him anything you please, but if his brother was brought up? he blew a gasket, and the dude’s lights out. every time.

> dean did all the talking (and still does, sometimes). anywhere he and sam went alone in his younger years, dean’s mouth was the only one that was moving. diners, motel lobbies, libraries, restaurants, dive bars, pubs, you name it. sam was too nice to talk to strangers— and dean learned early on that strangers aren’t doing something ‘just to be nice’. ever.

dean’s mistrusting, down to his last nerve ending— but if his dad’s with them, he can relax. otherwise, it’s eyes everywhere, making sure they won’t be messed with.

> dean made the most of everything. we see this in the christmas episode (the flashback to their younger selves) and the fireworks memory in dean’s heaven. his main priority, if not to protect sam, was to cheer him up. keep him happy. maybe not distracted— but to take his mind off of the real world. we all do it, dean just made it easier for his brother to do so.

but sam wasn’t totally clueless, obviously— he’s smart. maybe an idiot sometimes, but not outright dumb. he knew there were things that dean and john didn’t tell him, but he didn’t press when he was younger—because sometimes, being oblivious to things was kinda nice.

this changed as sam got older, as we know. sam noped his way out of there the second he got a chance. and while dean was mad that he left— he was happy for him, too. because sam did it. he got out.

> dean definitely is / was a ‘do as i say, not as i do’ type when it came to sam (and pretty much everyone else too). dean was a bad influence, yes, but he never let sam just do whatever he did. back then, dean drank, smoked, the whole nine yards to fit in, be cool, whatever— but best believe if sam wanted to try any of that, dean shut down that idea immediately.

> that sums up most of dean’s side, though. because sam was the one who was too good, too nice, too soft— and dean wanted him to stay that way. because he wanted sam to have a normal freakin’ life (cue that speech dean gave sam in like… season 5?), to have a family. dean didn’t think he could have, or deserve that. besides, who the hell would take him?

What made you want to draw Eris over the other acotar characters?

When I revisited the series I became fascinated with him and his story. (got me obsessed with autumn court in general) I found so little fan art of him, so I went on a drawing spree!

What's something you want to see eris say or do in future books?

I kinda want to see him in Autumn: him navigating the court, the inner work he's doing, him interacting more with his mother and brothers.

\What’s your favorite Eris ship and why?

I guess Azris since its the most I drew pairing wise. Lots of history between them and not to mention their opposite elements/ powers. Though since Silver flames, I'm also Intrigued with Nesta and Eris's chemistry (Also both are the eldest, have complicated relationship with their siblings.) Cassian and Eris have a nice dynamic as well. Thanks to those scenes from Silver flames too.

Eris is getting a cat!? What do you think he’d name it?

Eris accidentally adopting a cat and being a little annoyed with the cat just because they are so alike ( he's so cat energy ) Maybe a dark brown cat name Ink. It came in from the window one day - Knocked his ink bottle of his table and wouldn't leave.

Give us a name for one of his brothers!

Switching the salt and sugar is an underrated prank. I appreciate Jester's tiny bits of chaos so much. It's the sort of thing that I would love to do as a harmless prank, but can't cause once you get older it no longer really seems harmless anymore. (how much food will this person make before realizing? How much food is going to get wasted right after such a devastating battle?) (21)

"no social graces" is such an interesting comment from Caleb cause it so patently untrue. Is it reflecting his current uncertainty being around people cause he's out of practice? Or is it also manipulation to make people underestimate him? Cause it definitely doesn't reflect his actual skills. It could be the difference between interacting with strangers versus friends, he knows how to charm but not how to be himself (1:12)

I love how this party plays with stereotypical party roles. What does it mean to be 'the cleric' or 'the rogue'. Like of course Nott has no idea how to check for traps, why would she? This whole scene in general is also just so good (2:12)

I've read a lot of Glinda time-travelling aus and they're all starting to blur together at this point lol, but I would still read it if you have something unique and interesting tho!! Like maybe time traveller Glinda still has anxiety and is over-thinking every little changes she makes, or maybe she decides <i>not</i> to befriend Elphaba and try to take down morrible and the wizard all on her own

I've never read a time travel au with both Glinda and Elphaba as time travellers before tho, that could be interesting!!

Maybe it could be them before For Good (song not movie), like maybe around the cat fight or before Fiyero went with Elohaba. Where they haven't seen eachother for years, where Elphaba thinks Glinda actually believes all the propaganda stuff she says in front of the crowds and she feels like she cant trust Glinda with helping her take the Wizard down.

Glinda and Elphaba going back to the quiet nights in the dorm room that were usually the filled with shared secrets, and realize they dont know anything about each other anymore.

They’re strangers with a history.

I saw someone say that in For Good (song), Glinda becomes someone who could have considered going with Elphaba in Defying Gravity while Elphaba becomes someone who would have considered staying.

This is before that, they time travel with a Glinda who still thinks they should work with the system to bring it down from the inside while this is an Elphaba who still thinks they should rebel. And they both disagree with each other because neither of them are seeing results from the other.

And maybe eventually, they'll see that it's necessary to try to take the system down both from the inside and outside, but they need to work together in an organized manner.

i have yet to read any time travel fics (on my list tho!) so I'm not sure what the overall themes are in this fandom! but i can try and say what I've been thinking so far (no true plot, just thoughts).

for glinda by herself:

i have a fondness for 'elphie trying to figure out glinda' stories and i think post-canon glinda is esp fun to play with. i have a few headcanons i'd want to throw in (that she's terrified of morrible, that she's still traumatized by elphie's death, etc). i think all my glinda's have anxiety so that's kinda a given.

if it were elphie pov, i feel it would be easier to explore the way a post-canon glinda interacts with the world and people around her.

if it were glinda pov, i feel it would be easier to explore time travel lore and themes of loss.

(there's a certain tragedy in just-glinda time travel bc even if there's a happy ending, it's not a happy ending with her elphie. I'm not afraid of a bit of tragedy tho)

for both of them together:

i had a couple people suggest they shouldn't know they both are back at first! which i could see being either a very funny or very angsty. either way, it would definitely add some obstacles.

the nice part about both together is that its the right elphie. and depending on where in the timeline you pluck them from, there's a lot of room to explore the gelphie dynamic both in and post canon.

also i get hooked on ages/timeline shit so the idea of them suddenly being in younger bodies, having the muscle memory & magical control that goes with that, etc is very fun to me.

i feel like the concept of it being pre For Good gelphie is honestly really cool! if u don't mind, i actually think it works better as a time loop au over time travel?? in like a 'they both try their way and neither one works and they just keep trying till they realize they have to work together' type way.

but ALSO- a time travel fic where they lowkey kinda hate each other would be super fucking fun to explore.

deleted my last post on char x lalah shipping after watching some lalah clips. besides some 0079 references going over my head when i watch gqux cause i haven't seen the show in its entirety since my first watch almost 6 years ago, i also just straight up misremembered their dynamic since i haven't seen them interact on screen together in the same amount of time

they have very adorable teasing banter that comes from two people who deeply respect and love each other. in an alternate universe, i could see them having a very gentle, mature love between the both of them

it's only slightly complicated by how they're introduced in the origin (i take it as canon but i know others do not) but i'll reserve speculating until i rewatch that too

i don't like describing adult female characters as childlike but i think the not entirely unburdered sense of awe and wonder in lalah brings out a side of char that's really positive. but the romance immediately loses its appeal if lalah's feelings are born out of pedestalling char, so to speak. so while she can be grateful to him for rescuing her, it's their eventual friendship that develops while char starts off as a mentor figure that makes their dynamic worthwhile. and in turn that's what makes char feel very protective of her

edit: this is all very idyllic so i'd be remiss not to mention how char brings up her usefulness to his own ends that undercut rather sweet moments. no matter how sentimental the moment he'll caps it with a reminder that she has a purpose to serve for him...much to think about

A LOT. i really want to delve into studying her a bit more but like. grrrr. grrrrrrrr. i am rotating her in my brain quite frequently. i s2g someone get me a kaoru cutscene compilation on my desk by tuesday i neeeeed to analyze her properstyle (<- /j ill skim y2 myselfffff. someday. when i have time.)

Ryuji: rips off my dragon themed shirt and my Insert Coin Ryuji Goda Jacket to reveal my dragon tattoo . i respect his grindset immensely i too would fight someone over a shared fursona also i love stupid men. yes i WOULD put him on the kinlist .

i am 24, from chicago and i have a crush on youuuu

You are very sweet to tell me and this is my opportunity to talk about how healthy internet personalities or "celebrity" crushes are to young lesbians finding thier own sexuality in a world that mostly assumes people straight (becuase statisically that is objectively true).

I still, to this day, remember, as a teen and young woman having a crush on Christy McNichol, Nancy McKeon (or more particularly her character Jo), and Tatum O Neal. There were older women like Markie Post and Erin Gray who I crushed on. "Ooo older women, they are so steady and have their shit together .. and HOT". I actually knew very little about them off screen. My Teen magazines were featuring TEEN stars, for good reason.

But I still crushed on them and watching thier sitcoms. Most of these women were straight but that was not really important. What was important was they were not really real. I could build them to be how I want to be in my mind using the superficial things I could see about them or learn from little interviews etc.

The internet has changed that dynamic slightly. I am accessible. Reachable. A real person. I wonder if someday media experts will refer to"CowboyJen" as a character I created. They would be wrong but I would understand the thought process. There are aspects of my life I don't share. No one wants to see me ass dragging at 10 pm after a 15 hour shift sitting on my bed trying to untie my shoes before I fall asleep or cleaning my bathroom . My life is entwined with others and I protect their privacy unless they agree to participate.

I do answer DM's. I do respond to comments. I am not simply a character on a small screen that does not interact with the audience. That is a shift in the "celebrity" paradigm. And it can make crushes seem much more real.

What I want to address is that crushes and fantasizing about other women IS NORMAL and healthy and a tool to help us figure what we like, learn to enjoy our sexuality. I remember feeling shame for thinking about these women because it was "dirty" and "creepy". In reality it was no such thing. It is just a normal part of being human, to seek out a safe outlet for fantasy, day dreaming and forming our dislikes and likes in our own head and heart so we can translate that to our real dating/love life.

Crushes don't stop at the teens or 20's. I would argue most adults experience crushes as well and it is just another tool in our humanity that we use to navigate the world we live in.

The largest difference is my generation's crushes were relatively unreachable. Fan mail was mostly answered by an employee or a hired service. Now many smaller scale recognizable people are accessible in real life. We live and work in our communities. I didn't create a character I just share my life and my reality because I think it can truly give other lesbians and women hope that we are not destined to life of stereotypes because we are butch, or lesbian, or bi or female or not rich or any number of things that get false expectations attached to it.

I guess what I am saying is your crush is healthy and normal and I would never shame anyone for having such feelings towards me. It is also my duty as a role model to not breech appropriate boundaries and I take that job very seriously. The fact is I travel to Chicago on occasion and I am out and about in the real world so the chances of me meeting followers like you and and others is highly likely at some point. Ooo ok so I’ll be honest I haven’t given much thought to the two. I can only think of two instances where they really interacted, being the “come bring your boot to the boot then” and the “the only way I’m playing uno is if the entire northeast gets hit by a hurricane.”

I THINK for now ive only really thought of them platonically. Once read a spicy fic by @/firsttraintovictoriaville abt them that I thought was really good, and this was made right after the boot scene. Still tho, it’s a ship I can understand the reasoning behind. New York is a grouch and Loui is the most laid back person ever. Dynamically it works

When I take the time to think about it, it makes sense. In the face of New York being himself, Loui doesnt falter, doesnt hesitate, and even if his kindness is challenged he matches a challenge with a smile. And we all know Loui ain’t dumb. He shows far more thoughtfulness than Florida, and lives for himself and his pleasure. He loves to eat, loves to drink, loves to have fun. He’s a self-indulgent person, which shockingly matches New York.

New York is someone who is self-assured. He knows what he stands for, and while fandom-goers expressed New York is definitely not that well-rounded a representation of the state as a whole, he is grounded, and finds pleasure in little things.

They’re both individuals who know who they are, and who pretty much move at their own pace. If they have a relationship, I think it would work for them in a way that doesn’t work for others.

I don’t know much abt the people who ship them, but I think you guys cooked with this one

S1, S2, S3, or post canon zukka?

ooo this is fun! gonna go over all of them haha. S1: This one is pretty fun and underrated in my opinion! I adore S1 Zuko, and Sokka, my beloved grump, is at his peak asshole behavior in this season, which I love, so seeing the dynamic of those two together is real fun and can be quite comical. Whether you chose the more 'canon' route, or a non-canon route where Zuko joins the Gaang early (either by choice or by force due to whatever circumstances), it can lead to a lot of hilarious moments seeing Zuko try to navigate around Sokka, Katara and Aang.

S2 and 3: Putting these together because these are pretty iconic and what you see the most when looking through Zukka works. Ba Sing Se is such a fun environment to write/draw about, and with this you get teashop Zuko + more Blue Spirit Zuko, and pairing that up with Kyoshi Warrior Sokka leads to so many fun high jinks, and it's even better if you throw in Jet, the Dai Li, Suki etc. Again, I love the trope of two characters who hate each other being forced to work with each other, so it's really enjoyable writing S2 Zukka having to work together. Then you have S3 - OBVIOUSLY great. You have Zuko finally with the Gaang, having fun banter with Zuko, the Boiling Rock - it's just a great time all around. Post Canon Zukka: Now THIS one is my favorite! I enjoy exploring Zukka, and the rest of the Gaang, the most when it's post-canon. I really like thinking about how they would handle the world after the war, the politics, their traumas, how they interact with the people around them - it's just. SO damn good. It's interesting because I wouldn't exactly call Post Canon Zukka 'underrated'. Tons of Zukka works take place post canon, and you see the trope of Ambassador Sokka, which is really popular. But when you start getting towards the LOK-era, I barely see any Zukka works based in this era, which bums me out because there's so much potential! But it also doesn't surprise me much since people are pretty harsh towards Korra and don't like to explore this era much. I love middle aged Zukka. I love seeing them get together when they're older. I love the Gaangs kids and seeing them interact with each other (Uncle Sokka supremacy over here, get out of the way Iroh your time in the uncle spotlight is over). Izumi and Sokka is so fun to explore, and it always leads to a good time, I love seeing Sokka plan out pranks with Izumi and watching those two get up to no good. I ADORE GRANDPA ZUKKA HELLO!! GRANDPA ZUKKA IS SOOO FUNNY AND CUTE I need these grumpy old grandpas now!! Throwing in three Zukka fics I really enjoy that are based in this era! Everyone Who Left Us We Find Everywhere by @sulkybender, Your Love, So Sweet by verdanthoney, and Everlast by @syciaralynx!

-You’ve mentioned that Bot has taken the other boys to a lot of cool places for sightseeing and entertainment. When the boys go to clubs do they dance? Do they often break into places to sightsee? I’d imagine they’d be kicked out soon after entering cubs or get enforcement called on them fairly often.

Can the boys detect vitals? 

They can only detect their own vitals, and understand why another robot would be close to shutting off forever. It can be pretty confusing for them to understand the human body when it comes to helping them out, but at the same time they know how to kill a human, and where their weak spots could be, so they could use that info to know whether they are about to die or not. 

(Gore mention tw)Their lack of comprehension of how the human functions is a reason why 8ot likes to dissect and play around with how he ends a human’s life when it comes to targets, especially with the guilt that he couldn’t save a loved one because of having no knowledge how a human body falls apart. He’s almost like a doctor or mad scientist when it comes to bots, he can repair and build robots, so he wanted to expand towards organic life. 

Sun and Moon don’t know as much as 8ot when it comes to saving a human’s life, as they don’t have a reason to why they would need to save a human, when their job is to end them. They stayed distant from humans for a long while since they only tried to scrap them in their first vessel. Their experience with humans trying to smash them to bits is another reason they learned to fight for their survival. 

Of course this would change if they happened to meet a human that they end up caring about, they’d want to learn more about organic bodies. (Possibly a y/n/oc interaction dynamic ehhehe)

Can they defend a human from being harmed by another human?

Okay so the city’s justice system is complete ass, people can get away from murder as long as it’s not the wrong person; being the super rich that has a network of others who will hunt down your entire bloodline, OR a super strong opponent that turns the table and ends up killing you instead. The only time police get serious is when someone makes a huge mess or destroy a large chuck of property (example would be using explosives to make a building completely crumble to the ground) 

Does 8ot hang out with the boys on the daily?

Yeah they are very close to each other, although I left their relationship with one another to be ambiguous, the viewer can chose whether they are involved in a romantic or platonic way. 8ot often drops them off to their day job on his hovering vehicle.(aka flying car lmao) They are very comfortable with each other that they show up to each other’s place uninvited. The two are also comfortable with telling 8ot just about anything. Thing is it’s usually one sided when it comes to pouring their heart out about their past, since 8ot is self conscious of what he was, often trying to copy the mannerism of people around him to cope. 

Koi is also another guy who is close with everyone in fact, even Eclipse. Funnily a lot of people like to rely on him, and turn to him for comfort. Eclipse loves to hang out with him when he gets the time, and Eclipse shares his knowledge on robots while Koi shares his knowledge of organics (since he is a organic himself)

Eclipse is seen as a higher up/ apprentice to Sun, Moon and 8ot. He also happens to have a soft spot for the three, actually caring about their well-being, normally he wouldn‘ t even bat an eye towards his lowers in the criminal underground. He still acts coldly, strict and harsh when it comes to the boys, but that’s his weird way of showing he cares. For this reason I like to joke about Eclipse being their dad since he’s constantly and voluntarily on babysitting duty.

When they go to clubs do they dance? Do they break into places to sight-see? 

Yes they go to clubs to dance and overall vibe and wind down, their dynamic making all their trips interesting. Sun being a responsible person and tagging along to keep an eye on the two trouble-makers, but genuinely having a good time in the process, Moon thriving in the chaos and even starting fights, 8ot knowing where to go, and laughing at the other two. 

AHHHhahah getting kicked out or police gettin called on them, the first part is definitely true, but police don’t get called often since the city doesn’t trust or rely on police, but if they have body-guards or a posse, they’d call them to scrap. As goofy as it is to see two shiny eight foot robots with a sun and moon mask as their heads, and a feminine looking humanoid with a masculine voice and mannerism, they have the upper hand when it comes to combat, never losing a fight yet. I mean it’s not like hey can afford to lose a fight, since that would cost them their lives when it comes to this city

I'm tempted to go the easy route and talk about Cyclops. But to be honest, I don't really think he's been "unpopular" for years. For all that folks occasionally take pot shots at him about Maddie and Emma and various bad decisions, I think most fans of the X-Men at least appreciate what he brings to the table in terms of storyline or character dynamics.

Maybe Jean Grey. I don't know if she's UNPOPULAR per se. But I do feel like she tends to get the short end of the stick from people who have only a shallow idea of her relevance and strengths as a character.

Yes, she's in a crappy love triangle that tends to over-dominate any adaption of the character. But that's not her fault. And Scott usually ends up reduced to a boring caricature along with her.

Yes, in the 1960s, she was infamous for using her powers to "sew" in a danger room exercise.

(Which was actually out of context. The point was that she was learning fast and fine control of her powers when a lot of chaos was going on right in the same room.

She dies, "a lot". Except, compared to Xavier or Magneto, she really doesn't. There was the Dark Phoenix arc. There was her death in Morrison's X-Men. I'm not counting her death at the Hellfire Gala, because everyone fucking died there.

She's bland or boring or vanilla. This usually comes up as a defense for Emma Frost. And that's ridiculous. Jean's got as much of a personality as any other character. She's kind, she's warm, she's temperamental, she's occasionally shallow. Just pay attention to her sometimes and you'll see that.

And as for "vanilla", you just have to actually pay attention to her interaction with her husband. There's a reason I've got so many of their scenes tagged here. Scott's "type" is telepathic domineering women. Jean's just got a softer approach.

She doesn't understand Scott the way Emma does. They have a different relationship, that's all. Scott doesn't understand Jean the way characters like Lorna or Ororo do. That's because people are different!

I think the biggest problem with Jean as a character is that writers don't always know what to do with a character with her power level, without killing her off, making her ineffectual, depowering her, or having her overpower the narrative. But I think that's been changing over the years. Since her resurrection, I think writers have done a really good job of balancing her abilities with the story. And as annoying as I found Krakoa's emphasis on "Omega Mutants", I appreciate that it seemed to give a lot of writers the opportunity to explore what stories they can tell with these godlike characters. And we're getting the benefits with the Phoenix and Storm series now.

TLDR: Jean is cool. She's always been cool. People who dismiss her because they only know her from memes and bad adaptations are missing out.

I just have one question: Will future chapters show us Gale’s POV as well? Personally, I’d love to see young, shy Bucky through the eyes of an older Gale.

i was actually so indecisive about this when i started plotting the fic because while i enjoy reading fics with alternating povs just as much as fics without them, i've never written one with them and i wasn't sure if i'd enjoy/be good at switching mindsets like that!

i ultimately decided to stick to john's pov for that reason, but also because i thought as the reader, having to see things through his eyes and only being able to guess about gale the way john does would be more intriguing, especially with john's view of the world/interactions warped and/or rose–tinted by youth, inexperience, emotional dysregulation, etc.

BUT sooo much of what i have written in my drafting doc is from gale's pov because i love picturing this bucky through his eyes too, it's just such a fresh and new dynamic for me to explore as someone who primarily writes mota–verse buckbucky, and what we see from john's pov is so different from how gale sees things of course lol.

like it drives me insane thinking about how this poor man was literally just living his peaceful life, fine with being solo, going through the routine every day of work and then bike club and then home, and suddenly he's got this golden retriever of a boy attached to him like a magnet, and he's being kept on his toes dealing with the bundle of energy, and each day is now unpredictable and as exciting as it is stressful and he has no one to blame but himself lol. and the way we don't get to see the self–restraint he has to have and the struggle to be responsible and do what's 'right' while also dealing with his own feelings, because john isn't aware that's going on inside gale's head!

i could go on and on about his side of things aughghgh so i think eventually i'll end up doing a pretty lengthy oneshot sorta thing of certain events in the actual fic through gale's eyes (kinda what i plan on doing with yadiym for john's pov) bc goddd i have so many thoughts about how all of this would be playing out from his perspective!!! if not a oneshot, then drabbles like this one i hope.

if i had the time and if it wouldn't be boring to read i would honestly just rewrite the whole fic from gale's pov once it's done because with every scene i write, i'm like ooo i wanna dive into his pov and talk about what he's thinking and seeing so BAD but i can't bc we're in john's head </3 i just love analyzing john through his eyes and ik i've yapped ab this so much in past posts but gale does see so much of his younger self in him, that's why he has a lot of patience and takes a liking to him so fast, even if he doesn't realize that right away. :')

at the very least i definitely want to write pwp oneshots/drabbles set in the TAS universe from gale's pov so i can gush over describing how pretty and sweet and mouthy john is LOL i'm sure i'll add the fic itself to a series like with my dog–coded fic so that i can build on the au with oneshots once it's done >:-)

hi hi sorry to bother just wanted to ask what are ya Melanie(Regretevator)headcannons?? am asking cause I saw your stat post on your side account and it got me thinking about regretavator hcs and I thought maybe Melanie could be a good cg for her(trying to explain my thoughts coherently sorry if i ramble here) I'd like to think Melanie is a flip(just from how she interacts with others)and I also feel like Melanie would want to be friends with stat and since stat is very apprehensive(for obvious reasons) maybe this could be a way for them to open up, either from one or the other finding out that the other dreams/regresses and then things going from there(sorry i just think it would be soo cute for Melanie to be there for stat as a playmate or cg depending on the day stat also seems like the type to regress alone but its fun to think about what if)

obviously stat is very distrusting (and for appropriate reasons) but I feel like she'd find some sense in comfort in Melanie (I feel like she'd remind stat of her computer, SAM/S.T.A.T)

As a caregiver, I think Melanie would be a bit anxious about her abilities. She ends up doing a great job whether it's comforting, playing with, or just being a nice buddy to someone, but she still can't help but worry (after everything that's gone wrong for her) (I could also see her caring for pest)

As a little, I feel like she's more on the non-verbal side. I can picture DRretro or pest as her caregiver based off of their interactions. She spends most of her time coloring or sleeping, as she's a very sleepy regressor. She has a rabbit themed sippy cup with either chocolate or normal milk (shout out to @galacticclaw for giving me that idea) and regresses from around 3-5

with stat and mel as a duo, I could totally see them doing some fun outing activities like going to build a bear or one of those little sanrio stationary shops! stat can kinda be a little rude at first but she doesn't mean it, it's just instinct for her. once she realizes Melanie is actually someone she can trust she tries to open up more but sometimes she still can't help but push away. I also feel like they're both really clingy (stat with her fear of losing people and mel feeling more relaxed with someone by her side to 'protect' her) so like. cuddles and snuggles yipeee!!

also no bother at all!! I don't get asks too often so they always make me super happy whenever I get one! :33

Ever since I accidentally picked up and played DGS, I knew I needed to play PLVSPW. I decided to alternate playing ace attorney games with professor layton games until I finished the main trilogies for both and could finally play plvspw, and it was so worth the wait. I love this game so much it is everything I could have hoped and more, so so so much more. Highly recommend to honestly anyone!!!

Summary

This game is everything I hoped it would be. yes it's a Professor Layton crossover, but it also has the charm of DGS x Princess tutu x tunic. The ending was very layton-esque, along with all the reveals. I truly had such an amazing time playing this game. I was initially introduced to this because I heard that DGS was inspired by it, so it was my mission to play both aa and pl's original trilogies before playing. And I am so glad I did bc the wait was so worth it. You can absolutely see the influence this game and professor layton had on Shu Takumi. There's so much passion and creativity between plvspw an dgs that makes playing them all the more enjoyable. I loved how all the main characters interacted with each other, I especially loved how hershel and phoenix swapped assistants. The new characters were also so fun. Espella, Barnham, Darklaw, the story-teller, they were all so unique and enjoyable to interact with. The animation was stellar. This 3D style really works for both PL and AA and im so glad both series took inspiration from it. The music and art was phenomenal, this game honestly should win awards if it hasn't already done so. I also love how any character pulled into an aa game will have their gay moments: phoenix x hershel and espella x eve especially. I can't wait to make art or even write for this game, I will definitely add scenes from this to my ballet au ^^! What a phenomenal game, what a fun premise with the most convoluted layton-esque ending. It was so perfectly I highly recommend!!

I wonder if any of the bat kids are legacies or half bloods? Like, they'd be ripe for urgent adoption and training, given the inherent risk of monsters! Not to mention the specially bred deep rooted battle/hero instincts. Would only some be half bloods? Any? How would that affect the dynamics, to have some (or just B) be aware of and able to interact with this whole secret world complete with monsters hidden in plain sight?? There's got to be tons of secret pjo resource stashes like different metals, foods, weapons, armour hidden everywhere hehe.

Ooh, would a bat kid ever have accidentally eaten ambrosia/nectar (or gotten close) without knowing what it is? Is Alfred a legacy?? A satyr?!! That'd be so so cool. (and it'd be an explanation for how long lived he is lmao)

If the batkids were all legacies/half bloods, who would be who? Would there be a mix of greek/roman? Is Bruce aware of the Egyptians or Norse lot?? I'm so curioussssss

There are definitely stashes of demigod resources! most of the stock is in the Batcave, but they definitely have stashes in all the safehouses. They're basically like any other resource- medical supplies, celestial bronze dagger, batarangs, smoke pellets, ambrosia, etc. Considering that celestial bronze and nectar/ambrosia are pretty rare, i doubt they're using them daily, but everyone definitely has emergency demigod equipment on them. I'm also making Gotham a Land Beyond Gods, a la Alaska in SoN, so there's less of a monster problem than other cities. Gotham kinda like the trash dump of the demigod world- all the weird fucked up stuff ends up there for our intrepid heroes to get chased by.

Most of the Batkids are aware of who they are, eventually! Bruce, Cass, and Damian always know, Dick and Jason figure it out pretty quickly after living with Bruce, Tim figures it out himself before becoming Robin, and Steph only figures it out after she "dies" (poor guy). Bruce isn't very good with the Mist, and monsters aren't like, a huge problem in Gotham, so it's not really a big deal to them if they are/aren't demigods. Babs kept up just fine as a mortal, after all. Like i said earlier, ambrosia/nectar are in short supply in Gotham (bruce doesn't really have a consistent way of getting more besides through diana, who also doesnt really have a consistent way of getting more), so nobody's eating any by accident.

I have literally no idea what's going on with Alfred. I joked a while back that he's a minor god, which I'm not opposed to, I'd just have to work that one out a bit more. The satyr idea is fun and works really well, except imagining Alfred with goat legs and eating aluminum cans freaks me out and I don't know what to do about that. He could also just be a mortal blessed by [insert god here] to have a longer lifespan, or someone who made a deal with [insert god here] to be alive as long as Bruce/the Wayne family needs him. It'll be interesting to figure out, whenever I end up doing that!

Bruce and Co. are NOT aware of the other pantheons! As in, they are so unaware of the other pantheons that nobody can figure out who the fuck Tim's godly parent is. Bellona is on nobody's radar, everyone is split between Ares/Dionysus/Athena/????. They also haven't figured out he's a Zeus legacy, because his ancestor fled to Gotham during WW2 and then did their best to hide their heritage for their and their kids' safety. Poor guy doesn't know what the fuck is going on, basically. Bruce is actually pretty cut off from CHB, so he's not super up-to-date about the demigod world. He tends to focus more on the superhero side of things. His kids have varying levels of interest/affiliation with the demigods, but they're definitely not on the "first to know" end of news whenever things happen. It takes a hot minute for anyone to figure out the Romans exist, and considering that Percy and Annabeth try pretty hard to conceal the Egyptian and presumably Norse pantheons, we can assume the Batfam isn't aware of those guys for quite a bit after the Greeks learn about them.
