• Ok so I know we've all heard of Luffy wearing Zoro's earrings but let me introduce you tooooo... Zoro wearing Luffy's hat!

I feel like if Zoro got super hurt or something and ended up bedridden Luffy would leave his hat with him :)

• Luffy complains like a little kid when someone other than Zoro saves him from almost drowning in the sea (Unless Zoro wasn't around at the moment, then he just silently pouts)

• Luffy sometimes helps Zoro clean his swords

One day Luffy asked if he could help Zoro clean his swords. Zoro was hesitant at first but found out soon that Luffy treats them with so much care and gentleness it almost makes him cry </3

• If either of them got badly wounded while in battle, the other would not leave their side until they healed. Both would fight anyone who tries to separate them!!

• Luffy is maybe a little bit madly obsessed with Zoro's muscles (especially his arms and massive honkers) and will squish or shove his face into them at any moment in time, absolutely unprompted as a way to show his love <3

• Sometimes Luffy will see Zoro napping outside on the ship's deck and he will ABSOLUTELY walk over and take Zoro into his arms and nap with him!!!!

BONUS POINTS IF HE USES HIS DEVIL FRUIT AND WRAPS HIS ARMS AROUND ZORO LIKE 2837373 TIMES

• We all know Luffy's love language is physical touch and I just know that whenever he's around Zoro he'll always be touching him or leaning on him

-Having a lil heartfelt chat in the crow's nest? Luffy will probably be laying on top of Zoro

-Luffy sometimes jumps onto Zoro's back just for the fun of it and will ask Zoro to run around

-Luffy's hurt and having trouble moving? He'll always find a way to have his hand or maybe even his leg on Zoro :)

• Zoro will sometimes make small short braids in Luffy's hair and Luffy absolutely LOVES IT. He loves walking around with a little strand of his hair braided and showing it off to the crew <3

Some AU where Shanks raises Luffy and Mihawk gets involved if only to see that Luffy makes it into adulthood in relatively good health, because he's apathetic but doesn't approve of infanticide, and then years later when Luffy goes off by himself it circles back around to the duel at the Baratie, (Mihawk got sent over to round Luffy up for a family dinner) except instead of agreeing to Zoro's challenge, Mihawk pulls out the bluetooth and asks Shanks exactly when Luffy was allowed to start dating? And that no, it's Shanks that Luffy takes after. Yeah. Some brooding boy who's a swordsman. Yeah. He's got green hair and three swords. And I'd approve if this wasn't making me feel weird. Oh, fuck yourself, Red.

🌟 hey guys I have an announcement 🌟

I’m currently working on a Zolu comic!! (🔞‼️+18)

10 pages are currently sketched out and I’ll soon release them for pretty cheap on my kofi!

Im hoping I can get more pages done at this rate but I’ll admit things have been pretty rough for me this past week or so - so productivity on this might slow down a little

A very short Zolu Valentine's story for the lovely dumbass zone server over on discord

“Happy Ventilator Day!”

Zoro opens one eye and peers up at his ridiculous captain. Luffy grins down at him and holds out a little chocolate heart. It's trapped between his pointer finger and thumb and the chocolate is already beginning to melt, coating the tips of his fingers. It looks misshapen, highly unappetizing and messy and-

Zoro holds out his hand and accepts the melted mess. “It's Valentine's day, you idiot.”

Luffy blinks. “Really? That makes more sense I guess. Wait, no! It doesn't! Who is Valentine? Why is it his day?”

“Beats me.” Zoro pops the small heart into his mouth. He is not a chocolate guy but is pleasantly surprised when the center turns out to be rum. 

Luffy bounces on his feet, a big grin on his face. “There is alcohol in it! Sanji helped me with that part but I did everything else myself. Do you like it?”

It takes a herculean effort not to grimace at the mention of the stupid cook but no matter how much Zoro dislikes the idea, it's probably better that he helped Luffy. No one needs food poisoning that bad. 

Luffy raises his fingers up to his mouth to absentmindedly lick the melted chocolate off of them. Zoro stops him by grabbing that arm and pulling the man down into his lap. His captain grunts which quickly turns into a bright laugh. 

Always laughing, that guy. 

Zoro loves that sound but he also loves the way it cuts off with a sharp intake of breath when he starts to gently clean those fingers with his tongue. Luffy stares at him with an intense focus that is usually reserved for fights and Zoro revels in it. No one can capture his captain's attention quite like he can and Zoro takes pride in that. 

Maybe a little too much. 

Only when he is done cleaning the sweet mess completely does he raise his eyes, locking eyes with Luffy's and licking the corner of his own mouth in a way he knows will kick his captain's brain into overdrive. 

“Yes. Very sweet.”

Luffy unconsciously licks his own lips which makes Zoro smirk which in turn makes Luffy narrow his eyes in contemplation. It doesn't take long before he starts to pout, the kind of pout that they all know is fake because the mischievous glint in his eyes gives him away. 

“No fair, Zoro!” he shouts and wraps his arms around his swordsman’s neck. “You didn't leave anything for me! I wanted a taste too!”

“Well,” Zoro drawls and pulls him closer so he can whisper into his ear. “Then take it.”

The rest of the crew avoids this part of the deck for the next few hours. 

Which is for the best.
