more gemstone practice! This time featuring the moonstone opal from tangled: the series. I did 2 different versions, one more based on an opal and another more based on a moonstone ( I ended up really liking both, maybe the moonstone opal looks more like one or another depending on the angle lol)

It has no context, just headcanons of characters that I explore little but that I love TT

⭐Asami Sato was always good at relating to girls, but it was more because she had crushes on them than anything else, the first time she had the courage to confess everything ended very badly and the girl in question spread the rumor of Asami being a "strange predator" which led her to be alone when she met Mako and the other ferrets.

⭐Toph never made her relationships official since she discovered a guy trying to use her to cover for him.

⭐Suki and Ty-Lee are very close, both of them established Kyoshi academies throughout the Fire Nation with the support of Mai, with a strong focus on those non-benders of low income who would never have achieved education under the old regime.

⭐Kiyi was very close to Zuko all her life, but she died under mysterious circumstances and this pushed Zuko into a relapse that made him leave the crown in Izumi's hands.

⭐Izumi's marriage was arranged by Mai's parents, with Mai and Zuko's support, Izumi never objected because she is a homebody who blindly trusted her parents could do no wrong.

⭐Of all the Gaang Children, only Kya attended Suyin's wedding, and not only that, she kept an eye on her since her exile from Republic City to the point that Baatar Jr believed that Lin and Kya were just the same person with several nicknames.

⭐Mako was for many years Zolt's star boy in his criminal days, it wasn't until a mission nearly killed Bolin that he realized he was betting too much on a power he didn't really want.

⭐Kuvira is terrible at distinguishing the kinds of affection she feels for people, she is not and never was in love with Baatar Jr but the appreciation she had for him seemed enough to get into a marriage.

⭐Opal's first kiss was with Kuvira.

Oml this analysis is extremely interesting. I’m currently doing a rewatch and I’m glad there’s so much online about rta in comparison to other Disney series’s.

my most controversial tangled opinion is that the sundrop/moonstone lore isn’t confusing, it’s just a soft magical system in a story that wanted a harder one.

what i mean by this is: there are zero theoretical limits on the powers of the sundrop and moonstone, but their actual established powers are nebulous and controlled by vague concepts (“faith” and “feelings”) without any hard explanation. this works as long as the magic is a mysterious quest object and its actual use is largely incidental, but once cass takes the moonstone, the magic becomes a central component of the plot and the system fails.

I'm truly sorry because it took me roughly 3 days (I guess??? idk anymore TT) to even think of badly summaries (that will actually not spoil the whole premise of each of my WIPs) 🥲🥲… I don't know if this is bad enough but please understand I'm not really good at summarizing it bad (even summarizing it good is no-no to me)

Okay I actually put genderbend on the last two because those two are actually my two genderbend naruhina I was supposed to post this month but since they weren't actually still flesh out just yet, it might take some time for them to be posted (probably within this year, lol I do hope so).

The last one is actually a WIP of mine that I wrote last year. I actually love the premise I've built with it in my head (lol) but only ¼ of what should be written is written so I doubt if I would actually post this or not lol! To be honest, when I saw this tag game the first thing that came to my mind was hold up, do I even have WIP?!! But then I remembered about my two genderbend nh! They saved me hehe… honestly I just jump back and forth to some unfinished ideas of mine and then somehow will continue it if some inspiration struck me (I'm truly just a beginner in this so I'm super sorry) or maybe not and they'll never see the light outside my notes.

I just realized you can't edit the poll once it was published 😭🥲, so now I can't even edit the poll because I've summarize them a teeny bit longer than necessary that tumblr had the audacity to cut them off :') so I'll put the five of them here to prevent confusion! ^^

Season 2. Gave us all a lot to work with when it comes to lore and it Twas sad that it Twas not touched on enough in the next season.

Probably HTTYD and the book series the Wingfeather saga. They are both heavily based on dragons so I’d put a WHOLE ASS BUNCH of Saponin lore in there.

I have WAAAAAAAYY too many 😭😭😭. Here are some of them: Hector has ADHD,Cass is near sighted and also has ADHD but she’s medicated (idk if they had that but let’s just say they do),varian and Edmund are both autistic,Stan and Cass are cousins (the cap being Stan’s uncle),Quirin is the oldest of the brotherhood,Edmund is the second oldest after him is Adira and Hector is the youngest. Hector is a Capricorn and is born on Christmas eve (is there a specific reason y I headcanon that? No) Hector and Eugene’s mom are half siblings,Cap had a wife when he adopted Cass but they got divorced,and then Cass’s “mom” died when Cass was 16. Willow has ADHD,and her and the Cap used to be a thing. I also headcanon that the Cap’s name is Caleb. Adira and Eugene’s mom used to date,earlier in high school. Hector stole his rhino from a circus that was passing through the DK,and he found the bear cats in the woods. Cass found Owl as a bb chick that fell out of his nest and was hurt and this happened not too long after her mom died so Owl just became her emotional support animal as well as her fighting bird. Andrew is dyslexic,oh and Quirin is color blind.

Idk ig Cass but I don’t like how they wrote it in the series. But my second would have to be Varian cuz ngl that would also make sense. But yet again I’m also interested with the moon!Eugene au.

I really would’ve liked to see them really dive into the motives of why they wanted to take Corona back. I also think that Ready as I’ll ever be should’ve gotten a reprise ont eh finale I stead of us getting through it all,cuz let’s be real that song was not it.
