creating a new identity:
aka; how to build an alter ego / how to create the new you / creating your higher self / create a new version of yourself
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is a guide for people who want to change their life around, and most importantly, change themselves (because obvi to change your life, you must first change yourself first). oki lets get started!!
Tumblr media
3 reasons why you want to change:
first of all name at least 3 reasons WHY you want to create a new identity. some reasons could include:
wanting to get better at school/ higher grades
becoming more social
more stronger
more disciplined
becoming better at something (ex a language, instrument)
if you don't have your 3 reasons on why you want to create a new you, then your desire is probably not strong enough and you won't be able to stay consistent in it.
Tumblr media
create the new you:
give it a name! (you can do this at any point tbh so not really important atm)
choose and decide the aspects of your new identity: (how they think, act, behave, feel. what their hobbies are, their habits, what type of person they are, how they treat others and themselves, etc etc)
write down these aspects in your notes app, notion, blog, docs, (wherever you want to). you don't have to go in full detail but just write everything that you need for this new identity so that if you forget or need to be reminded, you can just check that.* *reminder that you can create more than 1 identity/ alter ego! so for example you may have one thats for workouts/ sports, one thats for studying, one thats for socialising, etc. this means that you don't necessarily need to write other hobbies for an alter ego that is made for working out. you just need to write whats important to that specific identity.
once you've done all this, theres nothing left but to just BECOME. stop over planning and procrastinating, step into the energy of this new version of yourself. channel the energy and enjoy your life!
Tumblr media
tips:
take inspiration from people in real life! this can be celebrities, anyone you've met and admired, movie/ tv show characters (for me; rory gilmore, elle woods, gina linetti), book characters, etc. you don't have to create a new alter ego from scratch, you can just adopt energy of a person that has already been created/ exists.
a signature something. give this new identity a signature scent, outfit, accessory, etc. anything just to give it a bit of a touch/ cherry on top <3

Junko's the Ultimate Analyst, right? So if she analyzes someone's Talent, then she can reproduce it.
Which means - like with Sakura or Akane - she could learn some sick fighting moves.
But Junko is still a scrawy ass starving model (reference: she's 5'7" and 97lbs; that girl is starving and has no muscle), so she can mimic all of the techniques but she does not have the muscle memory to keep it up and she will wear out pretty quickly. If Junko doesn't win within, what, the first five minutes? ten minutes? she's out.
(Fighting Junko is like fighting Sans. It's an endurance thing. She will wear herself out. Eventually. And then you bop her on the head and keep going.)

Vanessa Elizabot is slander not only to Vanessa but also to Elizabeth. If she was going to make a rabbit suit to kill people in for her dad, she would NOT choose a basic white rabbit

Any headcanons about Yuno, Muu, and Shidou being guilty in T1, for a total of 7 guilty prisoners? If it means anything, none of them have a higher guilty percent than Amane. (Yuno is 50.85%, Muu is 51.26%, Shidou is 50.96%, based on Pai's graph)
(I see what you're currently working on)
Haha, well I hoped you enjoyed a bit of comedy before I post some dramatic headcanons :3 Thank you for the request, this is a really interesting switch-up for the prison 👀👀👀 A majority guilty cast would carry a much darker tone, but allow for a few people to really shine.
Major guilty reactions:
Yuno: She’s just as bitter about her guilty verdict as she was in canon, becoming cold and isolated. She’s tired of people making judgements about things that are none of their business, and separates herself from everyone. There’s the subtle difference from canon because she actually agrees with this verdict, but still doesn’t think Es should be the one to give it out. Her video has more focus on Es/the audience, we see more people who may judge her (friends, family, etc). More stuffed animals, more crowds, all growing hostile. The video had more substantial hints towards her sadness at the way society looks down on people like her.
Muu: She becomes panicked and defensive with her judgment. She's flighty, startles easy, and lashes out in fear all the time. Now, she’s the one to consider ending everything – to her, the verdict essentially means “if it was really down to you or her, it shouldn’t have been her.” Her video really highlights that duality, turning both she and Rei into monsters battling for/with the hourglass. Her panicky attitude is reflected in it, feeling like everyone in the world must be out to get her now.
Shidou: He’s at peace with the verdict, and allows himself to fall into misery. He's thankful to be punished for all the guilt he’s been feeling. Kotoko’s attacks only plunge him deeper into despair. He feels helpless and once again can’t save people the way he wanted to. He’s disillusioned with his career and becomes pessimistic and bitter. He takes it out on Es, telling them there’s no way they can save anyone either. His video is full of unavoidable death in nature, like rotting food, changing seasons, and wilting flowers.
The attacks:
Since the guilty percentage order didn’t change, I’m going to say the attacks themselves happen exactly the same – it’s the aftermath that’s different. Whether it’s due to restraints or locked cells, Shidou isn’t able to offer aid. He has to sit back and talk the others through instruction: Haruka, Kazui, and Mikoto if he can get him to focus. They do their best, but they’ve never done anything like this before. Despite his calm attitude, Shidou isn’t good at explaining things he knows innately under pressure. Fuuta and Mahiru end up in a much worse state, since proper care was denied for so long. (I don’t think they’d kill anyone t2, but if they were willing to, she would have died here). Fuuta’s eye is gone for sure, and he has trouble getting around with his other injuries. Mahiru is barely scraping by, not allowed to leave her bed. Her video is glitchy and confusing due to the unhealed head injury and overall weakness.
Other character details:
Haruka grows even more confident than canon, seeing himself as Muu’s protector as well as the object of her affection. He helps her through her self-harming thoughts, feeling like a hero and a model son again. He threatens Es to vote her innocent, but with his newfound feeling of importance he threatens anothers’ safety, not his own (maybe Amane or Mahiru because they're smaller than him.)
Amane’s hatred for Shidou is actually dulled because he got a guilty verdict too. She believes he’s getting the punishment he deserves, and doesn't need to interfere. She's a little annoyed he's taking the punishment with open arms, though.
Fuuta’s line in Backdraft is just about Kotoko – “why is she innocent?” He feels less singled out among so many guilty prisoners, but he recognizes his parallels with her and it drives him crazy that they got different verdicts.
I won’t spoil anything for Kotoko’s stuff, but she’s a bit less harsh since she believes Es really is just like her, giving unattached, severe judgements.
Since he was able to help a lot in the attacks, both protecting Fuuta and offering care afterwards, Kazui really leans in the hero role. Whether he enjoyed being a cop before or not, he's consumed by that responsibility now. It gives him purpose and he really takes charge of everyone. He and Kotoko butt heads a lot now that he's speaking up more.
There are conflicted emotions between the innocent prisoners and patients – they know they’re not medically trained, but there’s still a bit of hostility that they didn’t do a good job. There’s a mix of feeling grateful for their aid and bitter it’s not perfect. The innocent ones get a confidence boost that they were able to be useful and protect others instead of hurt them, as well as get crushed by the guilty that they failed at offering great care.
I'll need more time to ruminate on it, but I wonder if given enough time, would the guilty prisoners band together and attack Kotoko back? It was hard for the canon four, but now they have the numbers...

But the magic of human consciousness is a two-edged sword. We can use it to shape a brave new world or crack open a Pandora's box of hidden devils to destroy our world and all life on this planet. The temptation to misuse power is a hidden aspect of any archetypal figure; but since the powers of the Magician are so primitive and subtle, this temptation is his special bête noire. It is perhaps in recognition of this fact that the Magician's "black beast" is specifically pictured in card fifteen, where we shall meet him as the Magician's shadow, the Devil.
In Jungian terms, the shadow is a figure appearing in dreams, fantasies, and outer reality that embodies qualities in ourselves which we prefer not to think of as belonging to us, because to admit to these would tarnish our image of ourselves. So we project these seemingly negative qualities onto someone else. Such a person seems to always haunt our dreams, disturbing the atmosphere by saying or doing inappropriate or even downright devilish things.

For now the lore for this part goes down to : THH pizzeria get closed down after some kids fooled the night guard and burned the etablishement with his help (Makoto and WOH)
All the old animatronics are either almost intact or in very bad shape. In all that, none of them can be shown to the public again so they are all stocked in their old pizzeria until Junko "found out what she wants to do with them"
But. Some... People have been trashing down the old pizzeria and Junko can't have that, those animatronics are too expensive
And it's when our protagonist, Hajime Hinata Aka Orange Juice (there was a bug when he wrote down his name in Alter Ego's program, okay ?) enters the scene.
His job is to make sure no one gets it and nothing gets out. He has a second mission, which is to make sure all the animatronics work, by shocking them, explain A.E.
First day, he meets the band, Mondo, Sayaka, Leon and Chihiro.
Second day he "meets" Destroyed Junko/Mukuro, half burden down Celestia, almost not working Sakura and barely fonctionning Hifumi.
Third day and my favorite day, he meets Taka/Kiyondo, a very much broken and burden animatronics that explain between curse word and internal dilema that Hajime can't see, that he helped the kids who burned down the pizzeria (i hated those little asshole, all they did was insult Mondo-) and that Hajime is in danger (Shut the fuck up Taka we need to get out ya ain't helping !).
Hajime is kinda biased and he as a small difficulty believing the animatronic that can't even choose a name for itself.
Last day arrive, he can't find any of the animatronics but there's a voice guiding him and A.E to the scooper, his last job of the week. Sadly it's his last job at all since Hajime gets killed.
We wake up seeing everything from Hajime's perspective and we learn that we are actually inside of him.
(ALSO ALSO HUM, THE VOICE THROUGH THE THING IS IMPLIED TO BE CHIAKI OKAY ? OKAY)
Ohhhhh!!!! I like it, I like it! Love the little reference to Michael's name in SL. I really like this a lot! It's a really cool AU! It gets Sammy's Stamp of Approval! :)

ok so this one has a liiiiiittle bit of a story behind it sit down get your popcorn So it's kinda based on/inspired by this reblog by @ohwell-itsme-but-danganronpa that made me slowly realize that despite the big role Nanami is probably gonna play in the Jabberwock kid's lives(esp Kokichi n Kiibo), she's also never going to be able to hug them - unless they like sneak into the NWP for the sole purpose of giving her a hug, which I honestly wouldn't put past Kokichi tbh - and sent me into a long long thought into how much she cares about just about everyone and AAAGH it made me think a lot about her in the au so please know that despite being all ai she's basically everywhere all the time

so i am reading The Book of Sith and it is really hitting me how STRONG Anakin was to overcome literally thousands of years of Sith consolidation of power and END it. he ended the Sith 🤯 all of the powerful Sith lords that came before him, all of the endless century-long brutal wars between the Sith and Jedi, the unrest in the galaxy -- the Force, through torment, put Anakin in a position to end it. And he did.
through the book we learn that the Sith have been placing sleeper agents in Jedi & Republic society for thousands of years - calling them forth to upend peace when least expected (such as Dooku, a high ranking person in Serenno culture). and i fully believe that's what the Force did in return, finally, with Anakin as Vader. Anakin in Vader was the Force's sleeper agent.
The Force had to create and torment someone so good that he would fall because of his weakness (LOVE) and yet be strong enough to withstand 20 years of guilt and torture on the Dark Side, so strong that he'd return to the Light and end the Sith from within, as one of them.
the Force created Anakin to fall. he was the Chosen One, the damned one, the demi god, the unlucky one, the hated one -- but the hero. it is why he found peace as a force ghost. a tragic hero.
Like!!! Vader, personally, after killing his Master, had the ability to instantly absorb ALL of Sidious' power - ten thousand years of malignant potent strength. Vader would be literally all-powerful...
and he rejected it 🥹😭😫
he outright rejected it for Luke, for Leia. he rejected it for love. he wasn't even tempted after Sidious died! he rejected the entire Sith lineage since Darth Bane, tore it to shreds and let it wither and die just so he could look at his son with "his own eyes". Luke (& Leia) - the whole reason he began the first assured steps to his fall in the first place. A desperation to save his children & padme.
he was so strong in the Light that he didn't claim the dark throne. but he not only didn't claim it - he destroyed it. for his children and everyone else in the galaxy. so that they might never know the pain and torture he endured on the Dark Side as Sidious' slave.
the book (which is, granted, "Legends") makes it clear under the Rule of Two that the apprentice never gets any Sith power. they are starved of it, servants of it, and slaves. the Sith Master keeps all of the dark power and the apprentice has nothing, is nothing. is treated as meat and Palpatine notes they are "easily replaceable when their usefulness runs out".
Anakin was the easiest target for him and he was manipulated since he was 9 years old. no mother to protect him. Sidious threw away Maul, Tryanus, and Vader of course was next.
but in the end he overcame all that: the Force's tragic destiny for him via the prophecy, Palpatine's evil manipulation of him as a small child, the lure of a hundred generations of Sith power, the evil he was conducted to commit under the duress of Palpatine to save his family (and the boundless guilt he felt for it), and the ultimate rank of a potential rule as Emperor Vader.
he rejected it all the second he got another chance - horrified at his fall the first time, bearing the burden of the prophecy (Anakin the Betrayer), taking responsibility for the acts he commited even though he was a demi god who was destined and thus never had any real free will.
he was a slave his entire life - born & died as one. he was only ever free in death.
and he was free in death because the moment he finally had a true choice of his own - after he fulfilled the Prophecy and ended the Sith - he chose to end the Sith, and let peace prevail.
at his truest form, finally given his own agency, he chose the Light.
anakin is a hero.
#anakin skywalker#sob#when ppl say he was -pure evil- im like ok are we seeing the same source material#being PURE EVIL and commiting evil are two diff things#he definitely commited evil acts as both anakin & vader#(and he had an ego and alter ego on top of it)#(like i think of the dark side as deluding such as a substance abuse - he isnt REALLY vader but vader is there in control regardless)#(and he is helpless to this alter ego as his prime ego is not strong enough)#but anyway#he commited evil but he wasnt evil at his soul - that is the whole point of hope in star wars and the whole point of luke skywalker#a person who believes in good#that anyone even someone who has made the worst mistakes (even if he was destined to!) can be saved with understanding and compassion#and it is only through compassion ultimately that we can make the world better - even if at times there us no choice but to act in defense#compassion must always prevail#and by 'saved' i mean can know himself as more than his mistakes and capable of what one wills despite the past#that there is always hope someone might come back from the dark#and to not damn this possibility with hate and scorn#even if we cant MAKE it happen it is possible#and in anakin's case he had a prophecy and his REAL moment of choice was when it was fulfilled#and he chose to do good#and he CHOSE IT BECAUSE LUKE WAS THERE TO BELIEVE HE COULD AND TO LOVE AND HELP HIM AND SHOW HIM IT WAS POSSIBLE#ugh my soul#it was possible for him to choose good

I like using Occam's Razor when I theory-craft, because often the simplest answer is the best solution.
But man does it sometimes lead to the most BORING answer known to man.
