sorry if this is niche and you guys haven’t shared these experiences but i’m gearing up to be a counselor at a camp for the second year in a row and i remember attending this camp as a kid so…

imagine meeting whitney at camp as a kid, befriending him, and growing together. maybe you only see him at camp every year, not going to the same school or anything. you guys slowly grow from loving camp to hating it as you grow older, and as you guys become the oldest kids attending the counselors trust you more alone, paying more attention to the younger kiddos there. you guys share your first kiss in the old church basement, or maybe he sneaks into your bunk if it’s a sleepaway camp.

I just read an amazing meta a few days ago that very convincingly explained society's effect on Bakugou's personality and how, due to his very powerful quirk, there's a real chance he didn't have any other option than to be a hero; and also how his control over his quirk is very underrated, considering that he's a human bomb.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find it again despite many google searches...so could you please direct me if you've stumbled upon that particular post or something similar?

Unfortunately what you are describing is not ringing any bells for anything I’ve read, but I’d be interested to see it.

Since so much of the manga is tied up in pointing out the cause-and-effect of nature and nurture clashing, I think there’s a lot to say there - especially since Katsuki’s drive to “be number one” can really be taken to mean more than one thing when dissected.

A DARK THEME ON EVERYTHING.

Screens? Low screen brightness (below half. If possible below quarter.) for awhile before sleep.

Put on the spotify playlist "Sleep" a hour or so before trying to sleep so relaxed when try sleep.

When the oldest coworker I have outside of my boss commented (mid-apology to me) today that most of the people he've worked with from my generation fall into either "totally humble" or "totally think they know everything" to the point of causing drama, I can't deny the claim.

Because at this point in my life, I've encountered the latter category 4 times now. And three of those times were from women my age.

It's those kinds of memories - dealing with bossy attitudes and toxic targeted language because they all thought they knew better than even the supervisors in the room - that makes growing up with the Internet feel like a double-edged sword.
