I'll never get people who don't watch MP100 exclusively for the artstyle because what do you mean? Do you think he is ugly? Do you have an adverse reaction by looking at him? Would you rather have Generic Anime Prettyboy #368637 blessing your eyes with conveniently handsome dullness for 37 episodes? Never speak such things. He is perfect the way he is.

Saw a post on a terf blog saying that intersex people can’t be queer for being intersex because it’s a medical diagnosis and not an identity. As if homosexuality- and asexuality and being transgender to this day- are not seen as medical diagnoses.

i'm sorry the fact that this is one of sam's worst transgressions to some people is laughable to me. dean comes in red hot with some manipulative non-starter completely detached from reality bullshit thinking he's about to blow anything else sam has to say out of the water, and sam says (in this entirely hypothetical scenario) he would not steal dean's right to die in peace on his own terms and SOME OF YOU take this to mean he's a selfish child who only cares about himself or whatever. you should be taken out back and shot.

Them: Why do you have to make everything gay? Can't we just appreciate the fact that Wednesday has a wholesome and cute platonic relationship with someone for once?
Me: *gestures aggressively at Wednesday's other wholesome platonic relationships that will still exist and be super cute even if Wenclair became a thing*

it was 2024, and tb keep talking as if it was aegon at the coronation who ran to alicent to hide behind her back, when in reality it was her choice to come forward, shield her son with her body and cling to his arm to make sure that he would stay behind.

I was disappointed that Haruhi was treated like a girl by the host club members. Anyway I’m trans now 👍
this is actually probably another example of cultural disconnect irt ouran! I don't blame you for it because if im right about where you're coming from, it's a linguistic thing and unless you understand japanese/how japanese works it's not a connection you're going to make. I think that much of what english-speaking fans percieve as haruhi being treated like a girl by the hosts, aside from tamaki's obvious Thing about her gender, is the constant use of she/her pronouns. Most of the hosts (sans tamaki) don't go out of their way to treat her like a girl in terms of like, social context, aside from a few bits that are implied to be instigated by tamaki (i.e. lobelia academy plot.) I will admit that the she/her-ing of haruhi is pervasive in the english translations of the show, but it's not actually an accurate reflection of the original content. Conversational japanese largely drops gendered pronouns from most sentences, meaning there's very little overt gendering of haruhi either way by most characters in the show. this is part of the reason why it's somewhat believable that she managed to pass herself off as a guy--it's actually entirely possible that she didn't KNOW that people were assuming she was male until the hosts made a big deal out of it, because it's unlikely she would be referred to by gendered pronouns in conversation with her peers. this is unfortunately one of those things that it's almost impossible to not lose in translation since english sentence structure relies so heavily on gendered pronouns, but i do think it's worth pointing out that in the original japanese the boys WEREN'T openly calling her a girl at every turn. except for tamaki who absolutely was but that's like his own whole seperate thing

"Oh, but they were lost for 7 years! That's a LONG time! And Lila wasn't happy in her marriage and-"
No. Just no.
As an aroace!five believer, no. I don't care if they were lost 7 years or 27 years. The only person he's loved is Dolores, the mannequin. He simply doesn't care for anyone else, never has.
The Fivela arc never happened, I'm bleaching it from my memory.

im actually losing my mind and idk who needs to hear this (me): toji, for all his crassness, had truly loved one (01) woman. he loved her to the point that not only did her death cause him to spiral (canon event btw) but she (holding baby gumi) was his last thought as his consciousness fades away after the fight with gojo.
dear god. this man, who has never known love all his life, was able to love because of her. he loved her so much, he wanted a future with her. but how could he forget? nothing in that universe ever worked out for him. upon the death of his wife, so too did the last remnant of toji’s love fizzle out.

I find it funny how when something gets a name change, there's always a group of people saying it's "erasing history" cuz like that argument is not true in any way you think about it. Every news article, plaque, tour guide goes from just saying "Sir Butfuckington National Park", to like "Swan National Park, formerly known as Sir Butfuckington National Park to honour his discoveries but renamed because he killed like 50 thousand native peoples". Like, I'm pretty sure we're learning a lot more history in the new instance

I like the idea of francis being good with romance or whatever country of love ect ect but what i find more interesting is a francis who is just "bad" at love according to anyone-who-knows-him-even-a-little-bit's metrics yk.
(More under the cut cause this ended up STUPID long)
Like hes kind of too much or too little. He goes super overboard with romantic afternoons, candles and petals and shit. Cannot be casual about that. But hes also a bit too easygoing?
He WILL cheat and if broken up with he wont even act like he cares, like oh well. I guess I just gotta move on! I really did love them tho!
In a way he did... Its like he has a very general "love for humanity and life and beauty" kind of thing going on but he cant make really meaningful interpersonal connections easily so he just assumes/pretends theyre the same "love". Ykwim. Hes a man of apearances moreso than a man of true emotional substance.
Doesnt consider that the stuff he does hurts his partners/will ignore problems till the other brings them up to him. Idk. Theres something a tiny bit robotic about how he goes about this kinda stuff, methinks.
Idk. Anything beyond the most basic of romantic platitudes is stuff he doesnt really bother with... Quantity over quality... He has too many people close to his heart to make anyone feel uniquely like romantically special to him you know. Hell bring up past lovers to current ones like he still loves them.
This guy cannot hold down any partner!!! He only can if he tries super hard beyond the aesthetics of romance but he just doesnt see the apeal in bothering with that. Eternally celibate kind of >_>
Anyways idk. Thoughts. Does this even make sense? Probably not. Sorry. Lol. Sorry if this is ooc too i just like thinking about it because it makes all his relationships miserable and thats funny

I know mahiru is often seen as not smart (his official stats from the guidebook give him a 2 out of 10 for tactics and I think the mental stat is more about mental stability?) and sure he's not a tactical genius like mikuni or touma (both have 10/10 in tactics) but mahiru is extremely socially/emotionally intelligent, which is an intelligence often overlooked in favour of "classic" intelligence (like being good at math or things like chess).
But unlike other characters mahiru knows when to stand his ground and when to lay low and change a person's view slowly over time.
Misono wasn't on his side in the beginning, even saying mahiru could be his servant when mahiru agreed to work with him, but mahiru quickly picked up on the fact that misono was lonely and offered to be his friend. Now misono trusts him completely and recognizes that mahiru's strength lies in gaining allies.
Shuhei openly hated vampires and treated them as things and mahiru responded by humanizing them, listing examples of vampires acting just like normal people, laying the first stone for shuhei to stop wanting to kill all vampires.
He was the one who proposed the idea that tsubaki would come to rescue lilac because tsubaki sees his subclass as family and he was right.
Neither lawless nor licht were overly impressed by him when they first met him, but by the time he asks them to rescue tsurugi especially lawless is one of his biggest supporters.
In C3 he understood that he wasn't going to be able to move if he opposed them and joined them instead, allowing him and the other eves to meet. He also correctly concluded that getting tsurugi on their side was key because he was central to C3's/touma's plans and in the end it saved his life and allowed him to stop touma.
Mahiru consistently trying to protect tsubaki's subclass might also come in handy soon. They might not like C3, but both lilac and sakuya can vouch for mahiru as a person they can trust not to kill them and to aid them in stopping tsubaki from destroying himself.
And stopping tsubaki by convincing him to stop is perfectly logical. A servamp can't be killed as far as we know. Combat only gets you so far. If C3 want to create a lasting co-existence between vampires and humans getting both sides to stop killing each other and to learn to forgive is the only way.
Trying to solve this conflict through conversation and not violence is neither shortsighted nor childish, it's the only reasonable solution.
