Sketch:

For the sketch I referenced an older artwork I found, if I can find it again I'll put it on screen, it's basically the same layout with a few more people and reminds me a bit of the Alice in wonderland illustrations

Line:

For the line art I made sure to have the characters pop out from the background however the foreground also has thicker lines so they don't look disjointed from the whole piece.

Flats:

The colours I picked are the characters actual colours then the background uses more neutral greens n blues, all the focus is on the characters but mainly din and nayru so Farore and link are a secondary element in this piece as they're just watching their performance

Rendered:

The shading worked better compared to the last attempt I did in my last video of Zelda 1 and 2 Links. I cut back on the soft shadows and went all in with the cel shading. I even kept my highlights hard-edge which I think helped the style come together a lot. The only thing I'd like to be better at for this piece is have the clothing look more fabric-ee. It's a bit plastic looking and stiff imo

It's been a while since I did a more detailed background it went surprisingly well! I think the next step from here is working on movement

I think I never showed this one :o So here it is !!

This is not a ranking btw !!! I took the Links I wanted to draw at that time and just wrote things about their respective games.

OoT : The first Zelda game I have ever put my eyes on (I was watching my big bro play when I was like 4-5 years old) and it has my favourite Link in it !

ST : The first Zelda game I have finished, so it has a special place in my heart... This game is often overlooked because of its trains gimmick but it's so good I swear !!! Plus Zelda's your companion in this game, she's one of my favourite princesses alongside Wild era Zelda. I LOVE her chemistry with Link in that game, they're too cute AAAAH

OoS/OoA : They're Zelda games I haven't played yet (I know, shocking) but I read the manga and I particularly love the one with Ralph and Nayru in it XD

TP : Link is ripped good lord (and his voice ???). Also you can talk to animals so that's a plus for me. I also think this game has the best dungeons ! Best character Midna is in it, should be an enough reason to play the game !

These two have such a funny vibe, had to take Zelda out of half their games because you know she’d just be telepathically negging him the whole time. Theyre besties, theyre potentially related, she’s mentally whispering ‘Sandwich’ in his ear whenever he’s trying to focus.
