Reread @naffeclipse’s fic Apex Polarity and I simply could not get the thought of meeting Eclipse in a warmer area out of my head. I think it would be funny and leave more opportunities for Eclipse to be “curious” or learn more about human things. Specifically I love the idea of introducing him to pool floateies and I don’t know why

Not to mention I think it would be easier for his courting intentions to be realized sooner, since he can have you around for longer without danger to yourself or raising suspicion. Just a fun idea I think

Happy day, @naffeclipse !! (right click each for better quality fghgdf) Apex Polarity had me in a choke-hold and ough ;o; the ending was so intense and then so lovingly soft, I knew I wanted to draw it as soon as I was done reading. 3 days after starting it, here we go! It got away from me a bit at the end cause it was just meant to be a sketch comic but heehoo Thank you for such a lovely piece of fanfic!! <3 <3

'eclipse's braincells flew out the window as soon as he saw reader in this au and reader's been separated from their pod, so they see a remotely whale-shaped creature and go 'oh my god pls be my friend im so lost and alone' then they meet the boys who r smaller but still Whale Shaped and go 'oh my god u have calfs???? babies????? lil guppies????????' and almost dies on the spot and like. eclipse n sun n moon know they r Not whales. but. reader does not and reader is so so happy to have whales again that the three r like. yup we r totally whales! just a lil pod that got lost! just like u! and then at some point,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, reader finds out/realizes they r not whales. they have been SHORKS this whole time and the reason reader got separated from their pod,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, was bc of SHARKS so they are Upsetti and eclipse is like ;^; pls no go and angst and then eclipse almosts gets HURT and reader comes to RESCUE ok thats all i got rn my brain is baked bean'

@naffeclipse since you started talking about Orca!Eclipse with his little siren babies I have not been able to get this out of my head. Orca Siren Eclipse shows off his little baby Sun and Moon sirens to my Mer Sun and Moon and their little half-mer baby Eclipse.

I imagine both y/ns very apprehensive somewhere out of frame. WtTK!y/n at least would NOT be thrilled about her baby getting dangled in front of Orca!Eclipse like a snack

too excited to NOT post this, check out the wips from stream!!!! a big chunk of it was making myself a little ref and figuring out how i wanted to draw him, and getting his colors and gradients down. it ironically took me MUCH LESS TIME to work on the mischievous guy beckoning you towards the water ;)

@naffeclipse i LOVE HIM. and i LOVE apex polarity holy shit. the second pic is a wip - i WILL be working on him more in order to attack u with him. (i gave him a little heart on his underside because i noticed one of my reference pictures had a little splotch there. a little heart for eclipse;;;; as a treat)

Bonus bonus: You are a sailor that can’t swim. Moon takes advantage of this by constantly pulling u into the water so u have to hold onto him. It didn’t go very well the first time tho lol

Orca Eclipse from @naffeclipse Apex Polarity!

This one was a long time coming and definitely something I meant to do earlier, but here we go now! I am not okay for this man - I adore him WAY too much. If you all haven't checked the story out yet (and this marvelous beast of a mer) I implore you to! It's wonderfully written, and the characterization is a masterpiece.

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful story, Naff! This man lives on in my heart in ways that shouldn't be.
