I know most of the folks over on this blog follow me for my Hermit/Traffic/Empires content, but I've recently been trying to pick back up a longfic I've had sitting from the Haikyuu fandom for awhile! I really love the character dynamics I've written in it, it features quite a rarepair and also ABO dynamics but I really love the world and the aesthetic I've created for it, so it would mean an awful lot if some of you would give it a shot because I really want to try and finish it and I'd love to have some of you who have been so kind and supportive on this blog for my other AUs along for the ride!

2022 wips

happy new year everyone ✨

after dumping all my stories on tumblr I sort of just disappeared from the surface and didn’t work on anything major. work’s been hell but there’s an end in sight.

for 2022 my goal is to use tumblr more and work on growing a bigger reader base. i want to write stuff i usually don't (especally smut and headcanons and drabbles) to widen my horizon. though if it comes to the smut and 18+ content, i think i'll make a separate blog for those who don't want to read that.

i'll definitely change the visual's and navigation of my blog, i'm not rlly happy with it as it is now.

so, here are the things i stared working on last year but couldn’t finish any of it, so here’s what i want to publish at some point (not in this order):

a/n: this has been in the making for so long. after the manga got the anime adaption, i thought it would be good to dive back into vnc but unfortunately, i didn’t rlly find any motivation to keep on working on this one. hopefully with the next manga volume coming out in a couple months, i'll finish this baby.

about: winning the meet & greet special of his favourite cryptid youtuber albedo, aether is beyond happy to finally see his crush in person instead of behind a plastic screen. it was supposed to be a nice away time from college, from mourning his sister’s absence after the fatal accident three years ago. hang out with albedo, venture through the forest in search for cryptids. stay very close to albedo. but albedo has his own reason to allow aether to grow closer to him, one that he might not follow through to the end as he starts to see aether as a friend. perhaps even more, though he doesn’t dare to, for the forest has eyes everywhere.

a/n: now this one. this one is very special to me and i wish i wouldn’t have plotted everything till the end because now i can’t bring myself up to put it into a decent story. it'll certainly happen because coming up with and seeing how both aether and albedo develop during their companionship hit home. this one hopefully might happen sooner than later. i loved the recent event with albedo and his doppelganger and thought maybe that’d give me some motivation but nuuh. genshin in itself isn’t just bringing me joy anymore, so i think this’ll be the last fic for genshin in a while.

about: in a dying world where osamu’s priority number one is his brother and his priority number two is staying alive, meeting suna rintarou is a danger to both. hunted by monsters, always scared the disease might catch up to them, osamu can’t have another person to worry about; to take up a seat in his heart because he’s already lost too much. but maybe, suna is worth it. maybe, suna is the answer to end all this.

a/n: now this one is also very special. when work started to go downhill, this pairing kept me afloat and going. it's become my top comfort pairing of 2021 and i need to write my own story with them, for them. this was the first idea i had, inspired by eve’s music video [yuseiboushi] that is an abso-fucking-lutely master piece. because the story ends as it ends, i decided at some point i'll write an additional chapter after that (which you don’t have to read if you’re satisfied with the ending of this story) that’s a take on ‘they’re all movie actors and this was just a film and everyone’s happy. also osamu and rin are engaged.’

a/n: the second osarin story i started working on, kinda inspiried by the vibes of sou's [harehare ya]. it's going to be a lot more personal than the other, but hopefully it’ll be as rewarding in that sense. this might also get a sequel, depending on how much i can go back into haikyuu and if i still want to write the atsumu/sakusa sequel to this.

about: three years ago, unable to continue living as part of the jujutsu world, you left everything behind. but then gojo satoru crashes back into your life, someone you thought you’d long ago cut out from you like a cancer. now you're forced to return to the neverending fight against curses, curse users and people you'd initially thought were on your side—all while trying not to get wrapped up in gojo's games that have far too important things at stake.

a/n: this is inspired by a couple of things. it's basically about a subcategory of special grade sorcerers called 'sacrists' that are vessels to very powerful relics (inspiration of relics used: senki zesshou symphogear) and let's just say some of them are about to go really apeshit and maybe want to kill all sorcerers for the way they were treated.

reader is the vessel of the very first and oldest relic called ame no habakiri (again, senki zesshou symphogear with a huge touch of genshin impact's raiden shogun). i want her to be absolutely stupidly strong—but she doesn't want to be part of anything, cue gojo coming in and ruining her life.

there's gonna be angst, there's gonna be a war, there's going to be delicous fucking. look at it as if it's an arc before shibuya incident arc because no one likes shibuya incident arc ✨

I’m going with a good ole meet cute

When Osamu was in his final year of university, he needed one last class to meet the requirement for the amount of credits he needed, so he decided to take an Intro to Architecture class for an easy A. ‘It’s just buildings, how hard can it be?’ He thought. He figured out he was wrong.

During the first day of class, he learned just how boring he thought buildings were and he fell asleep. At some point during the lecture, he felt multiple jabs in his arm. He slowly looked over at the person with dark brown hair, brown eyes, and rounded, black glasses. He wasn’t sure if it was the morning light hitting them just right, or if it was the sleepy daze he was still in, but he thought they were the most beautiful person he’d ever seen. That person was me. It’s me. I’m hot.

“Yeah?” He grumbled, slowly adjusting his eyes to the bright, disorientating light.

“Class is over.” They responded with an unimpressed look plastered over their face.

“Oh, thanks.” He slowly got up and put his things away before looking back over to the person next to him. “Do you mind if I borrow yer notes?”

“Normally, I would mind. But I see those onigiris in your backpack and they look really good. If you give me two onigiris, I’ll send you my notes.”

Wanting to pass the class, Osamu gave two out of his five onigiris to the stranger in exchange for notes. An upside for him was that he got a hot girl’s number.

Slowly but surely, the two of us became best friends. We did everything together.

From walking around town to going to Atsumu’s games to cooking at three (3) in the morning.

Our first kiss was a year after we met.

It was after the grand opening for Onigiri Miya and the twins’ birthday.

He was walking me back to my apartment and it was just one of those nights. One of those nights where everything seems perfect. When your stomach is empty but you aren’t hungry. When you’re full of laughter and every time you try to stop laughing, it makes you laugh even harder. One of those nights where the night sky is full of stars, the air is the perfect temperature, and everything seems just right. A night Goldilocks would be jealous of.

When we got to the door, he looked at me the way you look at the cutest dog you’ve ever seen. His eyes were filled with pure glee and adoration. He adorned a charming, bright smile that could bring Queen Elizabeth to her knees. He was absolutely stunning.

As the gap between us slowly closed, it all seemed right.

atsumu's tired of both of you rubbing it in his face that he's single (affectionately, as you said) so whenever you're in the miya household he has this frown on his face which you and osamu tease him for.

osamu writes about his day in a letter, then he collects those letters in a container. and you both would open it at your honeymoon/vacation/wedding your choice. he also either buys you one bouquet or three, nothing in between those two.

he was once caught by atsumu smiling on his phone while you two were texting each other, and osamu was very much embarrassed because atsumu would never live it down. now everytime osamu smiles on his phone, his brother immediately assumes that he's talking with you; which wasn't wrong.

i am 110% sure that furudate is actuely aware of all bxb shipping in the community, because since a long time I hv seen that they always posts official art in doubles ie the ships which are most popular for a particular character.

most jump shonen mangas contain a huge female fanbase and cater to their yaoi fantasises to a certain degree, just enough to not put off their male viewers.

some will ask me why are the miya twins not depicted with their ship partners? thays because sakuatsu and osarin are still relatively unpopular in japan or/and they don't want to make their little fanservice too apparent when the miya twins are a pair since birth already (or they know that miyaxmiya is most popular ship in japan for the two😁) ahem anyways you get the drift!

and though i love furudate and their big, bful brain, i can't help but sober up a bit at knowing thay despite the author implicitly acknowledging that the characters have great chemistry, they can only draw subtle ministrations to appease the fanbase, subtle enough that if someone raises a finger at it, they can simply pin it on bromance.

i dont really know what point i wanted to put out there, it's just both comical and saddening that such petty methods are used to market an already amazing manga

Seeking (Mar 20 2020)

(np) Ok, so a lot going on, I wrote some notes, but I know I forgot quite a bit of this. Lets see...I’ll start with Xay. He was resting quietly sleeping. I decided I couldn’t wait for him to wake up any long, I knew time was running short. I woke him up and told him he needed to tell me what was going on...right now. He told me that the Osarins were planning on a war, they wanted to take control of everything, get rid of us. I wasn’t going to have that, so I went to see if there was some sort of peace treaty that could be made or something, we didn’t need this kind of shit right now. So i got there, kept myself kind of...cloaked sort of, so I wouldn’t get attacked when I got there. I found the leader and spoke with him, made an arrangement to give them a bit of land to stay on planet, so they could live out the rest of their days there, instead of living on one of our moons.

Ok so the next thing...um...so I figured, if there was anywhere an archangel wouldn’t want to be found, it’d be in hell somewhere. My friend said if he would be anywhere, he’d be in the waists. His name is Adamel. So I disguised myself and a widely spread flock of blackbirds, and we went searching. I tracked the (faint) energy signature and headed straight towards him. I came to an abyssal pit (which are just a byproduct of creation, but can be dangerous), and looked down. I saw, just before things started to get dark, a cave, I could see a sort of house in there. I grabbed my friends hand and teleported us down to the cave, I didn’t want to just jump in, definitely not a good idea. I stood in front of the house, and I told my friend not to move, I knew there was going to be some sort of defensive traps and such. I slowly walked up to the door, I told my friend to cover her ears and and eyes, shield herself. She did so, I turned toward the door and completely dropped my shielding, my hidden form, everything. He slowly opened the door and said he knew I’d come looking for him one day. He invited me in and I went back to usual form and thanked him, I asked him to allow my friend, it wasn’t safe for her out there. He wasn’t sure, I told him that I trust her, he was reluctant, but agreed. Once inside, he and I went into his kitchen and he told my friend to stay in the other room. We sat at the table with some tea and talked. Lets see if I can remember this conversation. um, hmm...I think after we sat down, he said that, after making them, I wanted to make more things, but when existence happened, I pretty much shattered, sending pieces all over the place. After that happened, he felt like a failure for not being able to hold me together, and not being able to get all the pieces put back together, so he went into hiding. He said he’d been keeping an eye on me and whats been going on, apologizing that he’d been in hiding, that he’d not helped me at all. I asked him about the compass, he said he just recently got the courage worked up to send that message out for me to find him. He explain that those parts had been missing since the beginning, it happened so suddenly and I was “young” yet, so I didn’t notice it really, and never did noticed because I kept trying different things to make existence (particularly this universe) to stay up for an extended period of time, and that’s all I was paying attention to. Then, in the third version, I found my beloved, Kay...and from there, I had less, and less attention on things and was more focused on him. In fact, I nearly forgot about them so much, that it wasn’t recognized that they are parts of me, because they were out so long. They ended up developing personalities of their own, and like when time wears down the edge of rock, they began to shape themselves. He said he wanted to tell me that this darkness thing that was in this cloud of dark matter on a space object was another piece, a big piece. The more I get the pieces together, the less this body will handle it (which explains the soul pain, and my suspicions). He said that the last piece is mine, and mine alone to deal with, no one can help, and ultimately, things will bring me back around to the beginning again, regardless, sooner or later. I can’t remember much else, other then I offered to see if he wanted to leave here, he said he didn’t want to go back up with the others, he hated it up there, I told him, being here on this world, made me appreciate and love the more simple things, and I didn’t like it there either. He told me, he’s gonna stay there, but if I’m having trouble with the pain caused because my soul is not fitting in this vessel, he’ll help ease that. I told him if he wanted to find himself an empty vessel here, or share one with someone else, I guess I wouldn’t complain. My friend had fallen asleep in the other room, so I picked her up and took her home, dropped her off and headed out, just kinda needing time to think for a bit.

(np) Let’s see here...I was supposed to find an arch to figure out some things, adamel i think their name is, but other things got in the way. Xay had been missing for months and I wanted to find him. So my demon/kitsune friend and I set out to find him. She traced his track (which I could see like I was looking through her eyes). The night I almost was completely destroyed, when I was recovering, after he left the castle and then vanished on the spot. Unsure of where, I decided to jump backward to that point. I brought my demon/kitsune friend with so she could help. I brought us a little earlier then his disappearance. So we could maybe get an idea of what was going on (let me make thos clear: TIME TRAVEL IS ONLY FOR VIEWING). We waited for him to show, time jumping is rough on a person, especially on the mind. He came into view and saw him meet up with a shady character. They made an exchange, Xay headed out the door, shady character went up to the north tower of the castle, I multiplied and followed him as well. Xay went outside and got pulled up into a ship. Shady character went into the tower, to the records room. He was looking for something. He eventually found what he was looking for, a map, and he went up into the ship. I gathered the rest of myself and my demon/kitsune friend and I followed. I figured out that this guy was looking for something in a place he shouldn't go, in the middle of a nebula, there's a spot where there is a high concentration of dark matter, there is a space object in there, it's not a planet or moon, but also not an asteroid. Inside is something, ruins, something this guy thinks will make him rich and famous, but he doesnt know if he stands in a certain spot, he'll let something out, through him. When Xay refused to bring him there, he got dumped off on a deserted planet. I think Xsy wa there before, and that's why this guy lulled him into a sense of security and friendship. My friend and I came back to now and I set out to find Xay and bring him home, the shady fellow wasn't even close to this place yet, so I had time. He got healed up, and asked for a little quiet time with him to ask him questions. I was going to get answers, whether he told me or I just pulled them from his head. What I got was that the shady guy is Seer/Osarin, and knew what was going to happen with things, and when. His name is Roq (rock), they met at Xay's cabin, and convinced Xay he was a good guy, through some linguistic gymnastics. He convinced Xay that his world was in trouble and Xay could help save it, all roq needed was a certain map and a guide. Xay wanted to get away for a while anyways, so they made and exchange, Xay gave him a key to the north tower, where records are held. Xay found out about where he was really going and refused to help, he got dumped. He was there for who know how long. I knew he was hiding something else, but I wanted to let him sleep. I have an idea of what it is, but we have time. Lilith visited me this morning, to tell me that the arch I'm looking for is in hiding, so he wouldn't be where anyone would expect, he'd been hiding for a long time. She didnt know where, but she just knew he was hiding. I also apologized for not looking after, and protecting her children like she trusted me to do. She told me that what I'm doing to keep everything and everyone safe, is doing that very thing anyways, so I'm doing just fine.
