So I saw the OTP tk ask game going around again, and I know this technically isn't how you're supposed to do it but I am. Brainrotting. About these two sO BADLY I HAD TO GET THIS OUT before I disappear back into the void lmao

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh? Kazuha! His laugh and giggles are so airy and just the right amount of raspy uGH I wanna hear him laugh all day...

Wanderer's laugh is really cute too but man's screaming half of the time. Tho one thing that makes him almost cuter than Zuzu is that he starts hiccupping if you tickle him long enough~

2. Who is ticklish in unusual places and where would that be? I'm not saying that neck is an unusual spot, but I think Wanderer's made_in_Inazuma mark is ridiculously sensitive-- if Wanderer is acting bratty in public, Zuzu just uses his vision to make a gentle breeze brush against the spot and Wanderer stops whatever he's doing as if he slammed into a wall and turns to pout at the other sdfghfh But also when they're alone Kazuha LOVES peppering it with tiny kisses and Wanderer is in stitchessss hehe

3. Who gets cheer-up tickles? Wanderer 100% and it's so effective and he's sO GRUMPY ABOUT IT like my god he wants to be mad about it bc it doesn't fit his ✨️mean aesthetics✨️ but he can't help but just giggle and feel like his head is getting all fuzzy n happy when Zuzu scoops him up and gently tickles him all over until he's feeling better again

4. Who takes advantage of the other one getting their arms stuck while taking off their shirt? B o t h, but Wanderer definitely learned from Kazuha ahah. And they both wear so many layers that it's a weekly occurrence and at this point they're so used to both of them taking advantage of it that they just automatically start to panic a little when they realize they're stuck, so if the other hadn't noticed it on their own they sure would now sdfghj

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness? Wanderer was probably breaking records being annoying and buzzing around Kazu's head, provoking him in one way or another and he just got fed up and grabbed his ankle to pull him down, but to both of their surprise Wanderer fell out of the air on his very own accord (accompanied with an adorably uncharacteristic squeak, I might add) bc the feeling startled him so much lmao and Zuzu did NOT leave him be until he admitted he was ticklish (I think y'all can imagine how Kazuha coaxed that out of him~)

And afterwards Wanderer tried to tease it out of Kazuha too but he just straight up admitted with a chuckle that "ofc I'm ticklish" and Wanderer could Not wrap his head around how he wasn't even slightly embarrassed about it lmao

6. Who can’t take tickle bites? Kazuha oh my gosh, he melts in seconds. I also think that Wanderer's teeth are a bit sharper than normal so his nibbles are DEADLY. And he knows that.

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning? Hmm, neither has trouble in the morning, but I think Wanderer has to be tickled INTO bed sometimes. Sure, he technically doesn't need sleep but Zuzu wants to cuddle at night and if Wanderer's being difficult about it (which he usually isn't bc Kazuha's cuddles are god tier) he just gets dragged to bed, locked into a hug and tickled until he gets tired enough to actually fall asleep himself too hehe

8. Who gives up in a tickle fight? Wanderer, the feeling still catches him off guard quite a bit, especially when it goes on for a while since tickling has been introduced to him quite recently, so if you manage to pin him down he's done~

But once he gets a bit more used to it he'll be a dangerous opponent for sure///

9. Who is in danger of getting hurt when attacking the other? Kazu, Wanderer f l a i l s. Not a single limb is left unused in his attempts of breaking free if you tickle him hard enough He'll still pout if you stop too soon tho

10. Who always provokes the other into tickling them and how? Wanderer~ His brattiness goes up a notch and he seems to find something to playfully bicker about over everything, and it all is accompanied with a faint blush (that he will deny to the end of time) and an occasional glance at Zuzu's hands. So subtle~

But Kazuha also somehow manages to provoke him into GETTING tickled from time to time. Don't ask him how, Wanderer has no goddamn idea but it just. Keeps. Happening.

Tisha mostly wakes up before Epi so Epi is usually the target to them. Though, Tisha is stubborn as HELL, especially when it comes to getting out of bed, so it's not uncommon for Epi to have to force him to get up

Okay, so before I answer this, please remember that I have written over 500,000 words of TK/Carlos OTP, they are in love with each other in every iteration you can think of. I believe.

That being said, I really think that if you read the outlines of their story in an advice column, or TK was one of your friends you would tell him to run. Or at least make it a requirement that Carlos needs to go to therapy, and they both need to go to couples counseling.

There are so many red flags.

The Loft - yes, it's the big romantic gesture. But also - they saw the loft, had a discussion about how they couldn't afford it and would keep looking for something else, and then Carlos went and bought it anyway without TK's consent. Which, if you follow the show's legal logic (which, let's not - because I'm 99.9% sure you can't actually do this), means that he tied TK to a legal and financial obligation that he didn't agree to. If you follow real world logic, it's an enormous decision to make for someone else, and inserts an element of control into their relationship that I think the show didn't really think about?

The Iris of it all - yes, I understand the marriage when he was younger. Yes, I understand keeping her on his health insurance. But, not telling TK? Saying yes to TK and planning a wedding and not telling TK? Apparently not planning on telling TK at any point - just planning on getting a divorce and never mentioning it? In fact, presumably asking his parents and his sisters and his brothers-in-law to all not say anything to TK? Is . . . not great?

Anyway. They are my OTP. I love them. Also, Carlos needs therapy. And, they need counseling to learn how to actually talk to each other.

Character: Leia Organa

Leia has been my absolute favorite character since childhood for so many, many reasons... I adore her bravery in the face of danger, her commitment to her cause, and the unique combination of strength and vulnerability which she portrays. There are so many, many things you can do with her through fic... I really could write and read about her forever!

Fic prompts/ideas: -I love pre-ANH Leia stories, where we see the young reckless senator standing up to the Empire and going on her first missions of espionage for the rebels. Maybe she almost gets caught-- how does she deal with that and manipulate her way out of capture or detection? There's a delicious potential for suspense and drama there! As well as great juicy interactions with Vader and Tarkin... -Leia's relationship to Alderaan-- fond childhood memories, cultural and familial traditions, her drive to protect them from the Empire, and even the tragedy when they are finally lost. This lends itself well to any bittersweet fluff with the Organas and Winter... as well as character studies or coming-of-age tales.

-Anything to do with her capture and torture aboard the Death Star-- I'd love some whump or hurt/comfort related to her interrogation scene, or confrontations with Tarkin and Vader... feel free to combine with the Leia ships listed below.

-Dark Leia AUs are also really fun, as are those where she is discovered by Vader and must deal with the fallout of her heritage. It's a great route for character study and angsty exploration; how does she get to this point and where does she go from there?

Leia Organa/Wilhuff Tarkin

Ah, my twisted little rarepair OTP. The things I would do for them! Leia is the perfect embodiment of the Rebellion's cause, just as Tarkin is the perfect embodiment of the Empire... where she is hope and light, he is tyranny and darkness. They have so much sass and resentment for one another, and I'm sure there were many opportunities for them to butt heads in the time before A New Hope. And then that moment in the Destruction of Alderaan scene where he touches her face. *shivers* Feel free to get dark and creepy with them and to emphasize the power dynamics and their hate for one another. There's a LOT of potential between these two!

Prompts:

-I like to imagine that, pre-ANH, Tarkin may have had a sort of obsession with outing Leia as a rebel. I want to see a game of cat and mouse between the daring spy princess and the wicked governor and how they work to thwart each other.

-Fake dating trope as a conduit for espionage and political intrigue: Leia pretends to be seeing the Grand Moff in order to get information on the Empire's plans... and perhaps deeper feelings begin to blossom. I think Leia could get something out of the push-and-pull dynamic and the challenge of a dangerous and hateful man as the enemy she's trying to take down.

-Tarkin tries to force Leia into a relationship with him so that he can use her as leverage/a hostage against the rebels and their sympathizers.

-Tarkin evacuates the Death Star in time and is determined to get revenge on Leia for the loss of his ultimate weapon... whump and tension ensue.

Honestly, I would be happy just to see these two locked in a room and arguing for hours; any interaction between them makes my heart happy!

Leia Organa & Darth Vader

Vader finding out Leia is his daughter is always a classic fic premise, and one which can be exploited in many ways. Both of these characters are so strong willed and a force to be reckoned with, and watching them play off one another is really entertaining. I love the parallels between them, the way that Leia is unafraid to stand up to this powerful figure, and the angst and drama which their shared bloodline causes.

Prompts:

-"You weren't on any mercy mission this time": something where Leia runs into Vader in the pre-ANH time and narrowly evades his capture.

-Vader kidnaps Leia to raise her as his daughter and Sith apprentice. She resists every step of the way.

-The two of them are forced to work together for a common goal-- perhaps the cause of overthrowing Palpatine. Maybe Vader is compelled to defect to the Rebellion and redeem herself, or maybe Leia finds herself seduced to the dark side of the Force.

Leia Organa/Darth Vader

If there weren't related, I do think that Vader and Leia would make a rather compelling couple, being almost compatible in a certain twisted manner. Both of them are deeply passionate and determined to protect the ones they love, with rather fiery spirits and a commanding presence. There's also the aesthetic of black vs white and the cute height difference, as well as the twisted take on the knight and the princess motif. I can see him getting really protective and possessive of her and being reminded painfully of his dear Padme.

Prompts:

-Through some strange pull of fate, the two are placed in a Force bond. Vader feels a connection to Leia but doesn't know the truth of why and draws entirely wrong conclusions as a result-- (romantic rather than paternal).

-Palpatine arranges that Leia be betrothed to Vader as a manner of subduing the rebels and spiting the Organas and his wayward apprentice in one fell swoop.

-Leia becomes the consort of newly crowned Emperor Vader, as well as his apprentice in the Force, and struggles to come to terms with her new position.

Leia Organa/Wilhuff Tarkin/Darth Vader

A mixture of the above ships... just Leia being caught between the attentions of two powerful Imperial enemies who have competing agendas to possess her, and her efforts to resist them in every way. They can be the worst most dysfunctional love triangle ever.

Leia Organa/Wilhuff Tarkin & Darth Vader

Same as above, but with Vader being aware of his fatherly role and taking a more platonic role in his protections of the Princess.

Prompts: -Leia is raised by Vader as the Imperial princess, and is given to Tarkin in marriage to secure the family bloodline. However she has other plans...

-Vader notices the Grand Moff creeping on the young Senator of Alderaan and, due to some unknown urging of the Force, is determined to protect her.

Jyn Erso/Orson Krennic

A forceful and obstinate rebel girl and an equally forceful and obstinate Imperial officer, both sharing a messy past and a connection to her father. They compel me and I think their sparring would be delicious to watch.

Prompts:

-Jyn and Krennic survive the Battle of Scarif and begin an enemies to lovers arc. Perhaps they are forced into close proximity in order to survive and must learn to rely upon one another.

-Galen takes his family with him back to the Empire, and Jyn grows close to the mysterious man in white.

-Forced marriage where the Ersos are desperate to protect themselves from the Empire and must offer up their daughter as a last resort.

Sabe/Darth Vader

Sabe is an intriguing side character-- the girl who grew up in Padme's shadow, devoting her life to the protection of her Queen. In the time of the Empire, she becomes a rebel spy, and meets Vader in the comics. I think they could make a very entertaining, tragic, and dysfunctional couple, with Vader looking for the shadow of the wife he had lost but eventually falling for someone new, and Sabe trying to come to an understanding of the man her Queen loved and see behind the mask.

Prompts:

-SPY x FAMILY-esque AU where, due to some strange political shenanigans they have to raise the twins together.

-Fake dating or forced marriage

-Sabe tries to assassinate Vader, but it doesn't go as planned.

Character: Winter Celchu

Winter has a lot of fascinating possibilities, being a child of Alderaan and so closely tied to House Organa, acting as the more subtle and gentle half of Leia's fiery spirit. She's also quite intellectual and a cunning rebel agent, which is really fun.

Prompts:

-Something to do with her spy missions for the Rebellion, her ability to slip so easily into different roles and maybe some angst about her true self disappearing because of that.

-Her relationship to Leia... it's said that when they were young the two would swap places and Winter would play as the princess so Leia could run away from her duties or play pranks. I think that could be a fun little story.

-Reunion with Leia after Alderaan's destruction.

Character: Rivoche Tarkin

Rivoche is an obscure character, but she intrigues me. She's the niece of the infamous Grand Moff Tarkin, but holds sympathies for the Rebellion-- even using her position as a socialite to spy for them. I think there are a lot of places she could be taken.

Prompts:

-Something dealing with her relationship to Uncle Wilhuff

-How she becomes involved with the rebels in the first place.

👀 What made you keep watching the show?

Ooo, what made me Keep watching the show?? TK and Owen's relationship was a big plus! For myself, I don't think I've ever seen a father and son relationship like theirs and it was very sweet and made me want more! Also, the found family aspect and all these wonderful diverse characters coming together to reestablish this firehouse. And TK of course had my heart and interest right away, and then realizing that Carlos was interested in TK when he asked him to dance at the Honky Tonk! Seeing two gorgeous looking men having a possible relationship on a TV show definitely caught my eye! And then they had their legendary make-out scene in 1x02 and I had found my new OTP, and the rest is history 🥰 Lone Star and Tarlos own my heart and ass until further notice!

🚨Emergency most likely to make you sob?

Ohhh, two immediately come to mind! The 1x10 Astronaut and Grace phone call that makes everyone cry and the song that plays during it, We Might be Dead by Tomorrow by Soko, takes me out, it's such a good and sad choice! And in 2x05, the father and daughter who are driving and crash into the truck holding the steel beams 😭 Until the rewatch, I had forgotten how much that emergency makes me sob! The father is just so concerned about his daughter that he doesn't even realize the extent of what happened to him and Owen knowing that there is realistically nothing they can do, and then with no words, him going over and telling the daughter that her dad is gone 😢 I hate it, but I love this show and all the emotion it makes us experience!!

Hi, thanks you so much! I really ship Ken and Daisuke together! I also see the appeal of Takeru and Daisuke, even if I don't actively ship them. Also, I ship Joe with Mimi! But I can see the appeal to ship him with Yamato or Taichi! The light novel really made me appreciate Joe and Yamato relationship. I don't particulary like Tamers tbh. But as I said to someone else, I'm not going to say no if someone commission me something from another Digimon series or another fandom as well. Same thing goes for other ships from Adventure! For now yes, I'm sticking to Adventure! Maybe in the future I could go with some Ghost Games, but I still don't know! If you have other questions, go for it! :)

tk isekai in a game

The moment Taehyung wakes up, he knows something isn't right.

First of all, Seoul sky isn't this blue. And the air isn't this clean. Also, the people speak Korean, not... whatever language they are speaking now. Even weirder, Taehyung can understand them.

Second of all. Taehyung is pretty sure he died before waking up. A stupid death really - slipping and falling down the stair after coming back home from grocery shopping. Pathetic.

So, something happened. And Taehyung has watched enough anime to get /what/ happened. He has been transported into another world.

A shiny, bright, magical place where he will begin a new life, where he can finally be the best-

A huge commotion scares him out of his reverie. Someone is powerwalking towards him and- wait. Is that Chungha? "White Queen's Sword" Chungha? Best girl Chungha?

Best protagonist of his favorite action rpg Chungha?

It seems like she is. Her cat eyes, blonde hair and white outfit is unmistakable and Taehyung feels his hands clammy, like he's going to meet his favorite celebrity.

This is so exciting!!

"You! Golden Boy's minion! I'm here to defeat you!"

Alright, slightly less exciting. Whose who? She's here to what?

"Your evil ways have brought me here today. Your boss is the one I seek, but you're a menace and I shall vanquish you."

Ah, her pompous dialogue. Not one of her best feature as it was heavily criticized by the players, but Taehyung likes it anyway. It's part of her charm. In fact, he's a bit weak for it and he can't help but gaze at her with heart eyes.

Chungha points her foil to the side, the tip starting to get brighter and brighter. It's only because Taehyung knows what she's preparing for that he manages to evade her attack, ducking fast enough and letting the magical slash only graze the tip of his black cape.

Wait. Black cape?

It's then that her words fully register in his mind. He doesn't have time to dwell on them though, because a shadow covers him and Chungha glares at the sky. Or better, glares at someone in the sky.

Golden Boy is the videogame's main villain, with big black wings and red eyes and kind of fucking hot.

He lands right behind Taehyung, not sparing him a glance.

"If it isn't the high and mighty hero," he drawls, voice raspy but melodic all the same.

The hero and the villain snarls at each other, drawing their weapons. Taehyung gulps. This is not how he wanted his "shiny, bright, magical" new life to go like.

or: Taehyung wakes up in his favorite videogame... Only that he’s an insignificant character. He’s a servant of the main villain, Golden Boy. He’s a miniboss, one that’s quickly taken care of by the main heroine - he doesn’t even have a name, just a letter: V. He’s pretty much screwed, until he remembers an alternative ending: since it’s a game where the heroine can romance a handful of characters during her journey, if she accumulates enough persuasive points and if she makes the right decisions she can romance the villain and bring him back to the right path. If that happens, his minions aren’t forced to fight against the heroine and some of them are spared.

He never tried this ending - Chungha belongs with her fellow warrior Sunmi and Tae never separates his otp. But he has to try.

The fact is, the heroine doesn’t seem interested in saving the villain this time around, just like he never was interested in his romantic route. It’s up to V-Taehyung to mollify his “boss” then, bring him back to the light so that they are all spared. And maybe during the journey Taehyung finds that Golden Boy - that Jeongguk is just lonely and misunderstood, and that maybe he just needs somebody on his side.

14. Who kills the spiders?

TK. After watching 3x15 and seeing Carlos's reaction to Lou, TK handles all vermin that get into the house. But he doesn't kill them; he very carefully rehomes them, meanwhile Carlos wishes he would just get a shoe and handle it.

16. Who is scared of thunderstorms?

Oooh, I don't know if either of them are. Both TK and Carlos are pretty useful in a storm situation that we've seen so far.

17. Who works/ Who stays at home?

I don't see either of my boys being perminant stay at home parents. Both TK and Carlos have a lot of their own identies tied into their jobs; partially because they followed their dads into their respective lines of works, partially because being a first responder requires a certain mentality. Both will take time off when they do have kids, though, and will alternate who is in charge of sick kids.

guys there is so much i loved from the new episode of lone star omg

- tk and carlos: that's it, that's the post

- carlos coming for lunch: this means tk maybe sorta texted/called carlos like "heyyyy, if your free for lunch, paul made chile :))))" and that's adorable

- mateo and carlos just being texan: ik mateo was trying to move away from telling the team about him and nancy, but the little bonding moment with carlos over the thingy they put in the chili was SO CUTE (and it's cute because like when you think of the texan of the show, your mind goes to judd because they mention it like every episode 💀) and also carlos looked so happy someone other than tk was excited to see him

- owen baiting the abusive husband: i mean it was amazing development for owen really shows his therapy has been working for him! there's also poor carlos feeling horrible that he can't actually do anything and tk giving him a reassuring smile but then owen gets punched at carlos goes all badass cop and arrests the guy with the biggest smirk like yessss pop off besties

- mateo being a short king: i mean god damn this man is so cute that he's not worried about people mocking his height, he's worried about people mocking nancy for being with someone who's so much shorter than her AND THEY'RE SO CUTE

- tk saying y'all: idk if this was intentional, but it really shows tk settling in and being really comfortable in texas, especially since he's been there for three years, in a relationship for at least two of those years with a texan, some of the texan is bound to rub off on him

- tk being all "catan is spicy": look the man was horrified when nancy suggested a new game. i mean they all were. they set a trap. BUT TK WAS WAS CUTE IN THE LITTLE DRESSING ROOM BEING ALL CONFUSED

- BISEXUAL NANCYYYYY: i've been waiting for some bi representation i'll be honest and there isn't a character i could've wished for to be that representation other than nancy. the girl radiates bi energy it's a crime it wasn't mentioned earlier

- everyone's reaction when nancy said what she said: paul being all ???? and marjan and tk looking at each other like :0 and carlos just giving her the soft :D like how adorable

- paul and marj holding hands: like is lone star about to make me root for ANOTHER otp??? how y'all so good at this huh???

- tommy talking to charles about julius: idk how i fully feel about this plot yet but i'm so happy for tommy that she's found the strength to move on :')

- duh judd and wyatt having some awesome father-son bonding time: it was so cute before a building came down almost killing wyatt and probably making judd a little more injured than he already is

- carlos and tk hosting game night: FOUND FAMILY Y'ALL THAT'S ALL I'LL SAY

look i honestly have so much more and could take about this episode forever because i genuinely just loved it so much, but i'm rambling on at this stage so 😭😭

How I feel about this character

I have mixed feelings. I really like how Ronen portrays TK because I think Ronen really gets the complexities of TK. I also really like how TK is a deeply flawed character trying to grow. It’s very in tuned to the whole “rebirth phoenix” type of storyline the entire show is constantly taking. I like being able to watch and explore a character that’s rising up from the ashes but still struggling to get the dust off if you will. 

That being said I wish we would explore his flaws a little more rather than giving him a pass. He’s an incredibly competent, intelligent, capable person who also can be deeply vulnerable and not afraid to express that vulnerability. He’s self-centered but compassionate. He’s impulsive but cautious with his trust. He’s a character who doesn’t harbor resentments often but rather internalizes it. He’s a contradiction and I love characters that are like that. 

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Mr. Carlos Reyes. I love me some Carlos and I love how they balance each other out. I saw a thing floating around a while ago about how Buck is a shy extrovert and Eddie is an outgoing introvert and I think the same can be said for Carlos and TK. TK is very much the shy extrovert while Carlos is the outgoing introvert. TK likes to be in the pulse of a group while Carlos hangs out on the fringes. I think they both have a history of feeling like they have to overcompensate in the relationship and love seeing when they’re surprised that they’re simply enough. 

My non-romantic OTP for this character

I love TK and Judd scenes. I think Judd serves as a type of figure in TK’s life that he’s never experienced before. I think he’s the kind of guy who will really listen to TK and if something doesn’t make sense Judd will tell him that doesn’t make sense. Judd isn’t afraid to call TK out but doesn’t invalidate his feelings either. I think Judd is a great character that helps TK kind of untangle his thoughts and feelings and doesn’t judge him for having the tangles in the first place. For Judd, that’s just what you do. You help family. No questions asked and I think TK needs that type of person who is just there with no strings attached. 

My unpopular opinion about this character

I think a lot of people would rather look at TK as a bit of a wounded bird than to acknowledge that a lot of his flaws.... make him very similar to Owen. 

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

TK acknowledging pushing Carlos was wrong. I didn’t need an apology because that whole scene was indicative of a lot issues an apology wouldn’t fix. But Carlos gave him an out and TK needed to be upfront that him pushing Carlos was not okay. 

You do not put your hands on your partner that way. Period. No if, ands, or buts about it. 

I’ve seen the reasonings people have said. I’ve seen the outcry that it was out of character. I’ve seen all essays and post and paragraphs trying to justify the behavior. And I agree and understand a lot of where it was coming from. I agree that it tracks with TK’s past history of behavior when it comes to feeling out of control. I agree it was TK’s way of trying to feel in control again. I agree with the similarities between that scene and the bar fight. I can even understand the first shove to an extent. 

But the bottom line is this: Carlos is not TK’s punching bag.  

You do not put your hands on your partner that way. It is unacceptable. If Carlos had been a woman, the scene would not fly on TV. And there’s a whole other discussion about how it’s more widely accepted when a woman is the one hitting a man in the chest but guess what? That’s also unacceptable. 

Carlos is not TK’s punching bag and TK needs to acknowledge that.

LS (OG) - Buck/Eddie, because whatever the show seems to believe, they've written a really classic romance (also Bobby/Athena - because we stand up for proof that you get to fall in love a second time, and that just because you're over 50 doesn't mean you don't still want to get busy with each other).

D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.

I'll be honest the right story can sell me on most things, but that being said the Owen/Billy pairing - I can see it, I just don't really want to read it. No shade if that's your thing - just not my jam.

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

Consistently? I mean, I still go back and reread fic in some of the first fandoms I ever invested in because I've got comfort fic located there, and I've been reading fic for more than two decades. But, I guess reading something more or less exclusively, maybe a couple of years, depending on how long the show was on, or how long the fandom was active - Due South, Smallville, Stargate: Atlantis, Merlin, HP, Inception were all pretty long lived fandoms. LS is the first fandom I've written something for that's ever made it beyond my gdocs.
