This book was beautifully written! A dark and twisty narrative with flowing descriptions, this book captured my attention right from page one. The sinister atmosphere was beautifully woven into the story, and I loved it. Following the connected stories of Ivy and her mother Dana, this novel tells the story of magic; sometimes gifted, sometimes earned, sometimes stolen, and the consequences that come with it. I loved the exploration into several of the characters use of the magic, and the way it changed their perspectives. I very much enjoyed the discussion around family and relationships that this book held. It’s always fascinating to look into the lives of characters, and the way the book tied together the magic and the relationship between mother and daughter was undeniable. I find this funny too because like, after Stydia I associate you most with Romione (which you regularly post pictures that headcanon Hermione as not white) and then Bellarke (and Clarke's not even het) and Jane and Michael? Yeah, there's a lot of heterosexual white characters on tv but you're not the problem here? Anyway just wanted to throw some support our here but don't feel like you need to publish this. 💖

I just read The Man Under the Hood and wanted to tell you how much I'm in love! Like I-can't-believe-I-didn't-find-this-in-a-bookstore in love. Easily one of the best fanfics I've ever read! The original characters are just as awesome as our beloved Arrow ones and the dialogue is fantastically smart. So excited for you to continue writing!

Just wanted to let you know I legitimately considered calling into work when I realized you'd updated Having Lost You, and when I was reading the Here is Now one-shot, I laughed so loud at “Like… kinky different?” she whispers, looking like she doesn’t actually want to know." that my dad asked what I was reading and I floundered so hard trying to say something that wasn't "fictional characters talking about their sex lives"

I'm secretly hoping there's a sequel to Quicksand where it just turns into a Clueless AU and everyone is suddenly okay with Stiles and Lydia banging because damn, that was painful. But I loved it! Do you have a head cannon for how it plays out? Are they ever happy?

I’m secretly hoping that there’s a sequel as well! I really want there to be. I’m pretty sure it’s going to happen, but it won’t be like that-- it’ll be a bit angstier.
