The Nobleman or 양반 (yangban): The smiling face represents the bluff and composure that an aristocrat is often known to have. The chin is a separate piece from the top of the mask, and the actors can lean forward and back to make the mask smile or frown as needed.

This monk who abandons his doctrines, or 취발이 (chwibari): Chwibari was originally a monk, but he had no intention of joining the monastic order, so he came down to the world and wanders. Represented with a forehead full of wrinkles and spots.

The widow or, 부네 (Punae/bune): represented to be a widow, or a kisaeng ( a woman who sang, danced, or played an instrument to provide entertainment for company at a drinking party), or a mistress of the Yangban. She has a very small mouth, round cheeks and forehead- giving a general look of happiness good-humor.

Fidgeting with his hands so anxiously that he's scratching or hurting himself, and one of his friends noticing and holding his hands gently to stop him.

Falling asleep on a friend after he's had Too Many Emotions (and getting hair kisses from them ofc :3 )

Fear and hurt and distress working its way out of him in a burst of uncontrollable anger - and then suddenly stopping as he realises he's lost control, and either turning completely slack, or getting panicky about what just happened.

Feeling a lot, but not understanding what he's feeling enough to explain it to anyone else. (And dissociating when it becomes Far Too Much to even try to figure it out.)

Fumbling around the subject but completely avoiding the point until one of his friends figures out what he's trying to say/ asks him a direct enough question that he can't put off saying it any longer.

I've seen a few artists I like making human art and I got inspired to make my own.

First version was based just on their character designs and personality, and what inspired their look in the first place. Second version happened when I took into account their backstory and what I imagine human versions of their parents' would look like. I don't consider either of these "canon", because to me they're just trolls but it was a fun experiment to try.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming of me drawing little colorful dolls

Extra photos of the pizza box doodle since I’m indecisive on figuring out what good angle & lighting looks like. The cardboard ridges are visible in these ones (as too the inconvenient grease stains). Plus wanted to give some sense of scale with my hand included lol. I still have quite a bit of empty space I could leverage! Maybe more doodles could be placed there in the future. It’s from a lunch gathering today

You’d think I would be smart enough to order a kid’s size or individual pizza instead of the “small” option (which is actually a rather big whole pizza for my tiny stomach to consume). But as usual, my eyes deceived me and I wound up only eating a few slices. At least I get to carry a bunch of leftovers, which will be my midnight snack during nightly animating

Yes I’m one of those freaks who enjoys pineapple on pizza. I hold no guilt for my crimes nehehehhe >:3

gatsby costumes part 5! myrtle :)

just finished this one! and she was super fun to design!!

we wanted the difference between myrtle-with-george and myrtle-with-tom to be Noticeable, hence myrtle-with-george having a more antiquated silhouette, &c. we’d taken to calling the two costumes the “frumpy fit” and “sexy dress” lol

ive been discussing myrtle’s costume (specifically the “sexy dress”) a Lot with her actor (we share 3/4 a level classes lol), so stuff like the low back and the slit are all her idea!

you say they can’t put telepaths in marvel rivals, yet we have some very credible leaks that jean grey and emma frost are gonna be in the game soon.

that being said, jean has telekinesis (and the phoenix force) and emma has her diamond form. telepathy is all charles has, lmfao. odds are pretty low for him, but maybe not zero if they give him telekinesis!

if yall have me say he got psionic blasts one more time i am going to scream HE HAS MORE THAN TELEPATHY . LIMITED BUT HE HAS IT <- he has gone against sentinels and disabled armies with it before HE CAN FIGHT I PROMISEEE

and technically they did give him telekinesis in krakoa (and very weak telekinesis sometimes before krakoa) so .... not my fave move but he does have that ...... and ig they give him a gun sometimes ........ last resort type shit but he has options ..
