Prudence Johnson, née Baxter, grew up with her cousin, Pearl Russell, on Prescott Street following the death of Pearl's mother defeating the Nexus unleashed in the 1906 earthquake. Despite having a happy childhood together, Prudence was forced to kill Pearl in 1924 in order to protect her from evil.

Not coping well with the trauma, Prudence and her husband, Gordon, decide to leave San Francisco and return to the beginnings of Prudence's wiccan heritage: Salem, Massachusetts. Here, the couple finally get to spend a few years of blissful married life together, and Prudence falls pregnant in the fall of 1926.

Deciding she wants her child to be born in the presence of the powerful Nexus her family reclaimed for good, Prudence and Gordon prepare to return to Prescott Street, traveling to Boston in order to board the train to Chicago, then to San Francisco. Their return is delayed, and during their stay in Boston, Prudence, despite her advanced pregnancy, can't help but save an innocent, named Penelope.

Penelope decides to visit Prudence to thank her for saving her life, and finds her alone in her hotel room, in labor. Penelope, fortunately a midwife-in-training, recognizes the baby is presenting breech and is able to help Prudence safely deliver the baby. While Prudence would never conceive again due to the difficult birth, she is grateful to Penelope for saving her baby's life, and names her daughter after her - Penelope Johnson.

hey bestie you're the halliwell family tree expert on here so I must come to you with my Thoughts. first I wish Prue's birthday was canonically 31 Oct 1970 since she would then be exactly 300 years older than Melinda.... ANYWAY I was thinking about the past lives and.... so Baxter, Bowen and Russell and all cousins, right? It's not clear what degree of cousins they are but the immediate assumption would be first cousins. Except they all have different maiden names so there must be at least two sisters who were their mothers but I'll honestly trust grams response to Wyatt's birth and assume that there hadn't been any boys born in the line so then it would be 3 girls who each had a daughter??? homies would have been the charmed ones? Unless they were like first cousins once removed? but even then there would need to be a mother to allow them to still be a witch because of what I just said about boys?? So then surely the actual common ancestor of all the cousins would be a lot further back than just a grandparent??? You get me???

ig. i guess the possible explanation is that two of them are not blood cousins. so picture this if u will. there's baxter's mama a warren witch grams's grams we'll say um Philomena. philomena gives birth to p (pauline for now) baxter, a witch with molecular deceleration. But!! as well all know, it takes two to tango. so here me out. philomena has a sister (paulette!) but philomena also has a husband. (joseph baxter. i guess.) and joseph is also a witch bc like grams was disappointed when patty married a mortal and also like you know when paige is with henry she's like didn't i teach you girls anything implying that witch-witch marriages are the status quo. so paulette russell nee warren gives birth to phyllis russell a daughter with the power of pyrokinesis. so now p baxter has a cousin in p russell. but back over to joseph baxter (also a witch) he has a sister (also a witch) named idk opal or ruby or whatever anyways ruby marries so she's now ruby bowen nee baxter and has a daughter pearl bowen meaning p baxter now has two (!!) cousins, one on her mom's side, one on her dad's side and technically bowen and russel are not related. WAIT UNLESS. unless joseph comes from a family of three joseph ruby and stephen and philomena and paulette (sisters) fall in love with joseph and stephen (brothers). RIGHT? @ charmed writers in 1999 send me money. kisses!

Just wondering, is there ever a chance you could make a post of facts for Derek and Cove like you did for Baxter? I really love seeing all of that info put together!

I've definitely thought about it! Cove would be a far bigger endeavor though and I'm already doing the Cracking the Cove posts on him so at least at the moment I feel like he gets enough attention from me.

Derek I'd also have to think on more since I would probably have to not only look for posts about him but also his family just for maximum thoroughness, and the mental image of doing that already leaves me feeling drained lol.

This headcanon doesn’t really make sense, but I really like the idea of the Warren line having elemental powers in the past. So have some thoughts on that:

Canonically, P. Bowen had cryokinesis and P. Russell had pyrokinesis

Phoebe had levitation, but what if it originated from a distant ancestor? Phoebe’s power didn’t grow in that way, but that ancestor could have gone levitation -> flight -> aerokinesis?

Paige’s past life had Conjuring the Elements, and I know that the Evil Enchantress wasn’t a Warren, but the idea of retaining powers from a past life? And specifically reincarnating into the Warren line? Plus, Paige did tap into those powers when facing the Evil Enchantress so she wouldn’t have presumably lost all of them forever.

Electrokinesis feels like it’d be a fitting witch power for the Warrens. Just something about the storm-like nature of it with a family like them.

Hydrokinesis was a popular fan power for the next gen, which was more based on Logan Lerman as the Henry Jr. fancast or using the actresses in H2O as the girls though.

I don’t really anything concrete (lmao) for geokinesis, but still.

285-Year-Old Lemon 🍋 Auctioned For $1,780

January 31 (UPI News) — A 285-year-old lemon found in the back of an old cabinet drawer was auctioned for $1,780 in England.

Brettells Auctioneers in Shropshire said a 19th century cabinet was brought to the auction house by a family who said it had belonged to a deceased uncle.

A specialist was photographing the cabinet for sale when the lemon was discovered in the back of a drawer. The fruit was inscribed with the message: "Given By Mr. P. Lu Franchini November 4, 1739 to Miss E. Baxter."

The auction house decided to attempt to sell the aged lemon, and officials were shocked when it fetched a high bid of $1,780. The cabinet, meanwhile, sold for just $40.
