This time with a Celtic Cross with a Salubri theme, for my friend's ( @diableriedoll ) Nun character, Sister Evangeline.

Wood pyro burned design and acrylic painted and varnished, silver clasp and hinges, and lined with white velvet~

Writing Box ca. 1525

‘This box was almost certainly made in the court workshops of Henry VIII, who reigned from 1509 to 1547. It is lined with leather, which is painted with the heraldic badges of Henry and his first queen, Katherine of Aragon (1485-1536), and the royal coat of arms.’

I bought a plywood box and thought to paint it. I started by drawing everything with pencils, and then went over with some gouache.

My phone camera isn't very good, so you can't see the details on the roses. The sides are going to be simpler.
