I was thinking, Donald Duck is called "Paperino" in italian, in the same way Daisy Duck got "Paperina", and if you work logic on that, you will see that is like, in english, their names were "Donald" and "Donalda"!! Italian Donald shows up in home with his girlfriend for the first time and Della is like DAFUQ

AND IT HAPPENS because in portuguese, Grandma Duck's real name is Donalda! So, yeah, Mrs. Donalda raised her grandson Donald (that by the way was probably named by his dad Quackmore in honor of his own mother)!!

Copia x Female Reader ~ Winter Olympics AU ~ At what would probably be your final Winter Olympics you needed to focus on realizing your dream of winning gold. You definitely didn't need to start a whirlwind romance with world famous speed skater Copia Emeritus…

Warnings: Copia being a tease, sfw, about 1k words (thank you to @gothdaddyissues for the dividers!), not gonna use the tag list since it's just a tease :)

Balance…Precision…Speed…

Copia trailed his fingers along the ice as he took the turn, deftly gliding around until he hit the straightaway again.  He pushed off harder on his feet, pumping his legs to gain as much speed as possible before hitting the next turn and doing it all over again.  It was late and he was the only one on the ice but that's how he preferred it.  He didn’t have to worry about anyone else being in the way or anyone else trying to talk to him.  It was just him, the ice and the dream of another gold.

Well, and you of course.

He looked up into the stands to see you exactly where he’d left you.  His garish Team Italy coat was draped over your shoulders while your own coat was laying across your legs.  Copia had meant to watch you practice for your long program but unfortunately his coach had forced him into doing a handful of interviews. Two hours of answering the same damn questions over and over:  Are you really retiring? What will you do if you don't get gold in your last events?

There was one reporter however that had chosen a different topic to focus on, catching Copia and his coach off guard.  Apparently he had been there at the end of the women’s short skate event and was all too eager to ask about his relationship with you.  Copia had to keep insisting that you were a 'family friend' but they weren't buying it.  They had kept trying to get Copia to admit there was a relationship, to admit that there was something between you two, before Copia finally had enough and walked out.

He glanced back your way, watching as you got butter and salt all over your face as you ate the soft pretzel he had given you.  He had to bite down on his lip to stop from laughing, you looked like a damned chipmunk.  Copia might have played dumb to the reporter but that was only because he hated having his personal life published all over the place.  He preferred to keep things private.  Especially when things were still so new between the two of you.  

He skated towards the wall to get your attention, deciding that he had practiced enough for the night.  You grinned when you met his eyes, waving your pretzel back and forth in the air.  Copia couldn’t help but wave back, throwing you a wink before he pointed towards the locker rooms and held up five fingers.  He needed to clean up and take you out for a proper meal.  There had to be one decent Italian restaurant around here.

At the very least he wanted to feed you something besides pretzels.

Copia exited the rink, quickly getting his blade guards on so he could enter the locker room.  He found himself grinning as he thought of you sitting in the stands, content to watch him practice for a few hours.  He couldn’t help but think next of how happy you looked yesterday when you had finished your short program.  His mind eventually wandering to how you looked in his bed last night, your face soft in sleep.  Exhausted from both your short program and the celebration you and Copia had as soon as you had gotten into his room.

He might not have admitted it to the reporter but he could admit it to himself.

There was definitely something there.

Copia’s good mood was infectious. 

He had been practically vibrating when he’d gotten out of the locker room.  With his hair damp and curling at the ends and his cheeks pink from the cold you found yourself letting out an embarrassing sigh when he stopped in front of you. 

“See something you like, Paperina?”

“Not really, you don’t have any pretzels with you.”

“Tsk tsk tsk, the truth comes out, eh?  You only want me for my access to concession foods.”

“Your thighs are also pretty nice.” 

Copia grinned and quickly leaned over you so your faces were level.  You pursed your lips slightly, suddenly desperate for a kiss.  When your eyes fell closed you could feel his breath against your mouth but instead of his soft lips against your own you felt something wet on the tip of your nose. 

“Did you just…?”

He was licking his lips, still grinning as he watched you swipe your sleeve across the saliva he’d left on your nose.

“How am I supposed to parade you around town with butter on your nose?”

“You’re not gonna be parading me anywh—“

“Sì, I am.  Come on.”  Copia held his hands out for yours, rolling his eyes when you kept yours buried in the sleeves of his coat.  “Aren’t you hungry?”

“Depends on what you’re offering.”  It was your turn to roll your eyes when Copia waggled his eyebrows.  “Ugh, gross.”

“I’m taking you out for some real food, Paperina.  No more pretzels, no more nachos.  Authentico Italiano.” 

You watched him for a moment, not able to stop yourself from smiling seeing how excited he was.  He clapped his hands when you sighed and nodded, then gently reached down to help you to your feet.  Copia kept a hold of you until you were steady, not letting go until he knew your knee was steady under you.  The gesture made your heart ache a bit and you couldn’t help but tilt your head so you could press a kiss to his cheek. 

“Thank you.” 

“Prego, Paperina.  Come on, let’s get some Italian food in you.”  He gripped your hand and started towards the doors to the arena, his pace steady but slow enough so you could easily catch up.  When you reached the doors he stopped with one hand on the wood and turned to you, a familiar mischievous look on his face.  “Then maybe later we can get something else Italian in you, eh?”

Donald and Daisy with their children and Caballeros plus Crossover friends - Halloween special

Yes, it's over, but I did this, so here's one more time to wish you a happy Halloween. Yes, I drew this at my friend's request, with a few more added since that holiday is related to it.

First, I drew Donald and Daisy Duck with their children, Donald's nephews (Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck) and Daisy's nieces (April, May and June Duck) dressed up in their own way and collecting their candy. I also added Jose Carioca and Panchito Pistoles as Donald's best friends. Donald and his nephews have switched roles, so Donald is Junior Woodchuck, while his nephews are Donald's secret identities (Huey is Double Duck, Dewey is Maui Mallard, and Louie is Paperinik (Duck Avenger), to tie in with my previous drawings in who Donald's nephews will play real roles XD). Similarly with Daisy and her nieces, in which Daisy is the Chickadees (girl scouts) and her nieces are Daisy's secret identities (April is She-Venger (Paperinika, Super Daisy), May is Super Spy, and June is Scarlet Paperina or Scarlet Daisy (after the last book in which Daisy is as Scarlet Pumpernel)). Jose Carioca is Donald Duck and Panchito Pistoles is a vampire.

Plus there are additional guests. Miguel Rivera from the movie Coco in which he disguises himself as Panchito (as a caballero) and plays the guitar. Yes, the Día de Los Muertos that is the main plot of that movie is actually the Mexican Day of the Dead, and the reason I added Miguel. There is also Jack Skeligton (the famous skeleton and paragon of Halloween Town) and his love Sally (the doll) from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas, which this year has reached its 30th anniversary, so happy anniversary to that movie, which in my opinion is one of the best Disney's animated (admittedly, it's a stop-motion movie) movies and I recommend you watch it. And that and the Coco movie. And I will try to draw more human characters in the future.

Anyway, this is my gift for my friend, @boingodigitalart. I hope you like these characters and this drawing and happy holidays!

Everybody talks about Goncharov, but nobody remembers the 1975 parody published on Topolino, written by Guido Martina and drawn by Giovan Battista Carpi? That was a blast! Unfortunately it has never been reprinted. Hopefully someone will eventually do something about it.
