i can't believe im typing this, but i literally just had an idea for a zk fic (of sorts):

kataang are happily together, traveling the world and restoring air temples and always returning to the swt. mai and zuko had a peaceful breakup, where maikka (always pushing my maikka agenda) are now together. zuko and aang are indescribably close (they're the avatar and the fire lord, their fates have always been linked, how could they not be?), more so than the history books would dare to report.

in the vein of some of my fave spider-man fics, aang was always going to die young.

it's sudden. it's unexpected. it's avoidable but inevitable.

katara is wrecked, imploding with grief. zuko disappears into a deep depression.

no one can understand their grief. no one can understand the depths of their mourning. mai and sokka and toph and suki and ty lee try, but it's not enough. katara has lost the love of her life. zuko has lost his soulmate. aang and katara chose each other, despite the war and the hurt. aang and zuko were always intertwined, because of the war and the hurt.

no one can understand their grief.

except the other.

they can't say they ever fall in love. how could they, after what they've lost? but katara is there for zuko, zuko is there for katara.

aang is dead. part of katara, part of zuko died with him.

but maybe, just maybe, the grief reflected across their eyes will be enough.

maybe they can both find aang in the other.

Watching ATSV as a black woman sucks cause on one hand, people are being misogynist and finding every damn excuse in the book to hate on Gwen and call her these awful things.

But I also feel for Miles and relate to the feeling of my white peers choosing what benefits them in the moment vs standing by your friends of color.

I feel like that's part of why ATSV was so good to me. Gwen was a complex, morally grey character that DID help in the downfall/capture of Miles. We cannot deny it. Her visiting Miles is what got him to jump universes and find out about his 'Canon event' and being an anomaly.

But she also desperately missed her friend and wanted to see him again. She wanted to see Miles again so BADLY she volunteered for the mission to catch the Spot and knew the risks. And she stayed away so long BECAUSE she knew he could get in trouble...

Gwen does have fault, its an undeniable fact and anyone that doesn't realize that can't put themselves in Miles' shoes like many black and brown people can. But she's also just a kid like him. A kid who missed her friend. She wanted to be his friend and Spider-Woman too.

Anyway, uh, if we REALLY wanna get on somebody, turn your hate towards Peter "I had Mayday because of you, the anomaly, but yeah you shouldn't exist either" B. Parker.

do you have any criminal case headcanons?

Well as I just posted; My wife and I went with the headcanon of Tony and Jones being related but we do have a few others.

Headcanon for Jack: He is allergic to Peaches. Nothing too serious but if he eats one; He gets a rash on his arms and throat. Lars constantly lectures him when he gets treated.

Headcanon for Amir: His Favorite Cartoon is Phineas and Ferb. He doesn’t have a reason; He just likes it. Not even Jasper knows why.

Headcanon for Frank: He started having a crush on Roxie when she dyed her hair and started to grow it out.

Headcanon for Armand DuPont: He keeps a picture of his Great Grandfather in his pocket watch and he refuses to give it away.

Headcanon for Diane: She is the Grimsborough PD Mama. She will treat everyone like they are her child and no one can say otherwise.

Headcanon for Samuel King: He had kept his eye on Jones since he was in 8th Grade and swore to take jones under his wing after Jones’s father died. It kinda worked.

Headcanon for Jones: He used to be a Delinquent back in 8th Grade and was constantly in trouble with the police. You can ask Ramirez; Grace and Nathan; They will tell you Stories.

Headcanon for Ramirez: He is actually a really great cook; He has gained Tony’s respect when it comes to cooking.

Headcanon for Tony: When Tony was in jail after killing Salvador; he was praised by other inmates for killing a Woman beater. It made Tony feel better for what he did.

Headcanon for Rupert: He views Amir not just as his trainee but also his own son. He has always been there to teach Amir things and has been there to support him through the roughest of times.

Headcanon for Amy: (Kinda Canon) She is a Complete Clutz; She slips all the time. She even trips over her own two feet and the team thinks it’s on purpose. (Until they look at Frank and see he’s the same).

Headcanon for Frank #2: Frank legally adopted Amy as his daughter after he divorced Karen and married Roxie.

Headcanon for Tony #2: Emilio (Tony’s Bio son) hates him with a passion and tried to kill him (Case 36 of the conspiracy) but all that happened is that Tony got severe burns but he lived, Instead his son got the brunt of the disaster and became the victim.
