Anyone else feels like they never grew up? I mean I wish I was as happy as I was as a kid and I sure face adult responsibilities but I never got the supposed "fun" of being a teen. I'm just a bug child w/ responsibilities. Like I see my little cousins and kids I used to play with going to highschool, drinking, having relationships... And it's not that it's bad not that I desire that lifestyle. I just feel out of place by just being here with my cat and my plushies and going to sleep at 11pm.

There is this house near my favorite coffee shop that I drive by all the time, it’s an older home- over 100 years old easily. It is painted yellow with black shutters and doors. And they painted their garage doors with chalkboard paint so their kids can draw on them. I’ve been driving past this house for 12 years and it is so sweet seeing the progression of the kids’ artwork. What used to be scribbles became stick figures, and now it is messages to friends and announcing birthdays and last days of school with big bubble letters. I just wanted to share as it is such a fun little part of life to see

we spend so much time focusing on how the days drone on, that we miss the years flying by

Now I really empathize with older people,who used to say ,everytime I met after a while, about how much I have grown since the last time they saw me cause now when I see my younger children whom I have known since the time they were 6-7 years old, now when I am seeing them turning 14-15 I think to myself damn I saw you grow right in front of my eyes and look at you now, you've have grown sm older, I have grown sm since the time I first saw yup passing of time kinda hurts

Been a while...

I feel like every other social media has become a cess pool for toxicity. I know at one point it was here too. But it feels nice to come back to a chill place. I look back at my old posts and I get nostalgic for the adolescent I was when I started posting on here. Got my rose coloured glasses on, cause I miss it. Long live 2010s tumblr.
