Quick question: is there a reason that chapter 26 is missing from Deliverance?

Ao3 told me chapter 50 is ready but there's only 49 chapters in the story, which made me realise it 😅

I always thought this was just something on my end! Chapter 26 is currently a draft on my side, but it is just chapter 27, that somehow got stuck. I’m scared to delete the draft and screw everything up lol

Almost done with the new chapter, at 3,500 words and I'd like to finish it around 5,000! So you will all be getting that notification soon!

There is this house near my favorite coffee shop that I drive by all the time, it’s an older home- over 100 years old easily. It is painted yellow with black shutters and doors. And they painted their garage doors with chalkboard paint so their kids can draw on them. I’ve been driving past this house for 12 years and it is so sweet seeing the progression of the kids’ artwork. What used to be scribbles became stick figures, and now it is messages to friends and announcing birthdays and last days of school with big bubble letters. I just wanted to share as it is such a fun little part of life to see

I’m hoping to post a new chapter this weekend! (And putting this out there as a pressure to get it done)

I got a new job (it’s a 30% pay cut and there is no healthcare) and I have to go into the office 3 days a week. Office 3 days a week is fine, a benefit. But the people training me are on vacation so I’m just sitting here for 8 hours without a single lick of work to do, no trainings just me and a blasting air conditioner

One of my favorite things about Boston is that if you say "Meet me at the dreidel building" or "I work at the pregnant building" Everyone knows what buildings you are talking about, even if they aren't the official names. It is like how we all play the same playground games somehow as kids, but for nicknaming buildings

Clint: You’re weird

Yelena: You’re just salty because you aren’t Laura’s favorite killer

Clint: that’s not true!

Yelena: It’s Nat

Nat: I don’t know,

Laura, from another room: I love all my killers equally!

Clint: But I’m your husband!
