(as i hear it)
Paul: "Na ein Jahr frei mindestens, dan noch ein Jahr frei, und dan kicken mer mal" (Well one year off at least, then another year off, and then we'll see)
Female fan "wann neues Album?" (When new album)
Paul scrunches is face in a 'you just asked about touring, now you want an album' way
Another fan: "Nächste Woche" (Next week) and everybody laughs
(i think after that Paul says "Anstrengend" (Stressful) but i'm not sure)
Day thirteen - favorite quote. Ok, there is so many! In every interview Paul says something funny or very interesting. I just wish he would do more interview nowdays.
When asked what he would be doing if he wasn't the guitarist of Rammstein: "I'd have a company called 'Unasked-For Advice'. You could come to me and get hints and tips on anything from feeding birds, the color of your car, to how many children you should have, to fixing a problem with your shower."
I love this quote, from what I heard and read about him, this is who he is. He likes to talk and give advices, he loves to say his opinion and he doesn't care if people want it or not.

I always put these two quotes together, even he said that in completely different interviews. But to me, they belong together.
"Whether you want to wear a seat belt or not is up to you. In general, I think prescribing safety is stupid. Everyone should do it the way they want. I don't mean speed limits in dangerous places. If someone is stupid enough to speed around a bend, he should be punished for it. But if he doesn't want to wear a seat belt, he should have the right to die on a tree."
"One night we were driving back from a disco, very drunk. It was pouring, and a nasty film of grease formed on the road. This - or perhaps the intoxication - meant that we didn't get a turn right, and crashed straight into a wall. Wasted as I was, I tried to change the flat front tyre to be able to continue. But I didn't realised that the whole front was broken and the car was totalled. In any case, we were lucky: None of us were seriously injured, and the cops just asked if everything was okay and if we were all right. Then they drove on. In Germany, we would probably have lost our driver's licence."
Gif from Benzin making of video. I know, it is not Paul, but I think this gif is perfectly fitting =D
"When the band learned that someone's ass would have to be spanked, everyone unanimously and oddly decided that it should be mine. I also can't explain why this is the case."
Well, we all know why. Especially when minute later they show Paul throwing piece of bread into Till's face =D
so within the universe of Dune, gender roles abide by a rigid false dichotomy created by the bene gesserit - men lead the noble houses, while the women may join their order, and the powers of both are kept intentionally separate. at the same time, the plot demonstrates repeatedly that the role of paul atreides as a character is that of the border between the concepts juxtaposed within dichotomies: he is both an outerworlder and fremen, both harkonnen and atreides, both a duke and a disciple of the bene gesserit.
as such, it follows that within the in-universe gender structure, he occupies the roles of both male and female, thus being functionally and societally nonbinary. in this essay, i will -
growing up is realizing that rachel was exactly who percy needed in that period of his life. because she knew enough about the demigod world that percy could confide in her about the responsibilities as the prophecy kid. but was also separate enough from the demigod world that she never placed him on a pedestal or pitied him for it. she never looked at him like he was a dead man walking. or expected him to become something more than himself to get the job done. say what you want about their relationship. but no one. not sally. not paul. not poseidon. not chiron. not grover. and definitely not annabeth. could have been for percy what rachel was for him.
Paul Matthews and Emma Perkins are everything to me. They are soulmates and find each other in every universe but they almost never get past the awkwardly flirting stage before the world ends. They are both losers. They find each other every time an apocalypse commences. They are the only normal people in the whole universe. They are doomed by the narrative. They hate musicals. He tips her 5 dollars and she spits on everyones coffee. They are Orpheus and Eurydice coded. They are a spark that never turns into fire. They are intimate but don't like labels. They are the only constant thing in every timeline. They are what it could have been but never meant to be. They meet in that coffee shop again and again forever. He'll order a black coffee and she'll ask him for his name. And the loop will start all over again.
a piece of me dies every time im reading a fic and taylor swift lyrics pop up😭 then i realize the description of the oc or “reader” are very white coded like OH! that’s not…
Not surprised at all that they're taking a break. They more than deserve it and this stadium era has been insanely successful.
Historically, they never pre-plan new album. They go into rehearsals/studio whenever the feeling strikes so who knows when that's gonna happen. Could be in a year or 5 or 10!
Ramm4 is a nice "surprise". Wonder how it will sound since it's more of a live song.
And absolutely amazing news in the documentary! I'm glad they didn't abandon it. I'm sure it's definitely coming out this year, but again, historically, they announce things like "premiere in 2 days". Just dropping bombshells 😂
I rhink they were already talking about the album that eventually became Untitled [released 2019) as least as far back as 2017...things in the Rammstein democracy take their time...
(but 10 years....? when they are nearing their 70's? we'll just have to light a few🕯it might be a bit sooner... 😊)
That documentary i'm really looking forward too, but i'm sure we'll have to be patient for that too....
