I participated in a game jam!

(Week of Spirit City: Lofi Sessions - 4)

you HEARD ME I did a game jam, i had a menty b last week, fell down a hole, and dug my way out in the form of a little 3 minute game that i did the art of!

I had to do so much animating within the span of a week, and really I spent about 3 days total.

When I animated the main character's walk, I realized that at 8 fps it matched my fav song from Juno.

Every game is a fashion game, so say hello to the Petals For Armor skin.

I was obvs inspired by Hayley Williams for this idea, and I almost didn't finish the animation in time. In-game it's a little janky, because I'm not good at making sprite sheets yet. But I can confidently say that my janky petal animation is the worst part of the game. I'm really proud of everything we made in a week!
