i portray jubilee as having adhd. she also canonically suffers from dyscalculia ( an impairment in comprehending math and numbers ).

POWERS BREAKDOWN.

lumikinetic explosive light blasting: jubilee possesses the mutant ability to generate what she calls “fireworks” (also known as energy plasmoids or lumikinetic explosive light blasts). these are essentially globules of energy that vary in power and intensity. the explosions can result in anything from a multitude of colorful sparkles, capable of temporarily blinding a person, to a fairly powerful detonation capable of smashing tree trunks or metal objects. Jubilee can also absorb the generated fireworks back into her own body without harm. atomic blast: jubilee has the potential to detonate matter at a sub-atomic level. she was able to do so safely while in space on the collector's ship. the use of power making her body translucent except for her skeleton, she generated a massive explosion that completely obliterated the vessel and was bright enough to be seen from earth, the explosion having blasted away all hair on her body in addition to her clothes. under the radar: jubilee's presence cannot be picked up by telepaths. it's 'as though she isn't even there'; it's not noise. it's not just drawing a blank but still having a vague idea of something taking up space. she just genuinely cannot be picked up by that sense. her mind can be probed and memories read through, but the telepath has to be aware of her first. this is consistent across characters who rival charles, so on my blog it's the law of how she works in regards to any telepath.

the walkers were just an ordinary family out in the midwest. william walker was a well known real estate agent for the people in northern illinois, olivia walker was a humble elementary school teacher. with their three children, they were a perfect all american family.

leon and luna walker were born the summer of '96. and they were attached to the hip. growing up, they practically did everything together. and as they got older and their parents had another child, they made sure to include their younger brother in everything they did. but the bond of a twin was different. they were basically each other's soulmates.

cillian knew though that they had separate interest. leon wanted to focus on performances while his older twin sister prefer the culinary arts. they were both creative and determined with everything they did, and even though they had different aspirations, they had the same dream: to go to new york city and do what they loved the most out there. or at least leon really wanted that.

when leon was young, watching his first broadway show, he knew being on stage was exactly where he wanted to be. he didn't care so much about the spotlight, he just loved how fun it looked, and how freeing the actors looked being up there. and when he did his first musical, he felt right at home.

eventually, they moved to new york city and went to college out there. cillian pursued his dream, learn from the best of the best and be the actor he could be. he never thought how much he fit in. he made some incredible friends, he even fell in love with a boy name gabriel. new york was exactly where he was meant to be.

and even when he graduated university, and he found a place with his sister, he was realizing that the love he had for gabriel was slowly becoming part of the dream. and he wanted their relationship to get to the next level. moving in together an idea he'd been playing, but then plans shifted when his younger brother had overdose on some drugs that no one knew he was addicted to.

cillian knew he had to go back home. he wanted to take care of his baby brother. eventually he decided to stay back home to help him, and tend to him, and get him the proper help he needed. it was hard seeing him struggle, but after months and months of watching him puke his brains out, and see him as a person he didn't recognize, his younger brother finally seek the help he truly needed.

the dream wasn't gone though. after liam finished rehab and got back to his feet, cillian still had his goal set on going to new york. but he was not sure if he wanted to leave his brother alone, and have him live under their parents roof still. liam deserved to live an adult life without being watched by his parents all the time. so he made him a deal, to be sober for a year and they'd move to new york.

and he did it, and now all of the walker siblings were out in new york. all trying to pursue their dreams. and when cillian got a lucky break in the mean girls musical, playing shane oman, he took it. it wasn't a lot of lines, but at least he was on broadway.

but the new year was promising, and somehow all the karma decided to come back and give cillian everything he deserved. being casted as nick carraway for the great gatsby on broadway, it was like finally his dreams were becoming a reality. but now he hopes he can balance his work and home life, and he hopes that he can trust his brother being okay doing things on his own while he was busy with the job he so desperately wanted since forever.

leon is currently living with his baby brother, and hopes his brother can find something he really wants to do out in the city.

he had worked in the mean girls musical, but now is currently playing as nick carraway in the great gatsby on broadway.

he occasionally ends up seeing his ex boyfriend gabriel, and even though there are still strong feelings there, he often avoids him not wanting to feel the heartache.

does weekly dinners with her sister. they all make sure they see each other as often as possible because at the end of the day family is what matters to them.

        CONNECTIONS

she is my other half - whenever someone thinks of soulmates, they think a lover, or a best friend. but for cillian, he honestly believes his twin is his. soul twins, platonic. twins have a powerful connection. and he is glad to know that his twin will always be there no matter what.

the older you get, the wiser you are - this is someone to cillian sees as a father figure. someone that leon feels like he can go to for advice. since his father was always so busy, he never had the best relationship with him. he always feels like he goes to this person to ask for questions about life, and they have a nice father/son bond.

i don't fall in love too easily - leon has always been one to date, fool around, all of that, but he never really lasted in many relationships because he manages to either ruin them when they get too–– serious. but it was all different the moment the other came into his life. they dated, they said their i love yous, but unfortunately the love didn't last for some unforeseen things in both of their lives. but is there something there still that might spark once again? // taken by @rxshingpxlse

some friendships end up being like family - leon was glad to have his siblings, but sometimes having a friendship that was of your own, that ends up being their person, that's all leon needed. this is the person that ends up being like a sibling, the person he tells everything to, all his success and all his struggles.

some friendships just don't last - this is a friendship that was once strong that ended up breaking. maybe from jealousy, or maybe a betrayal. this person that leon really admired, but ended up leaving behind because of feeling being hurt. and when they see each other again, would they act caddy or act like nothing's ever happened.

when it came to the bradford family, they were considered the perfect all american family. william a well known fashion photographer, who grew up with wealth but still made a name for himself. emma bradford, an attorney, who's story really inspired people that no matter where you come from you can still become someone. and the moment joshua was adopted, it was like he had the whole world at the palm of his hands. his parents encouraging him to do whatever his heart desired.

joshua's story could have been different though. the first five years of his life he was raised by an amazing woman, his birth mother, lucy davis. his father was never in the picture, and that was okay, because he had lucy. but one night after a shift at the night and dine, a storm was brewing. driving back home was more difficult than expected, and out of nowhere a truck came driving towards her, ending in disaster.

with no record of his father, and there not being a next of kin to take joshua, he was eventually placed with the bradfords, who fostered the young josh. and they had fallen in love with joshua, even when he was so quiet and timid to begin with, but once he felt comfortable, they love how thoughtful, creative and sweet he was. they knew that they wanted him, and they decided to adopt him.

growing up with the bradfords, he was coming to his own. he loved his parents, and he loved what they did, always interested in what they do, specifically with his father's photography. his creative side being shown more and more, it was clear where his interest lied. so his parents had gotten him his first camera at thirteen. and his love for photography grew, amongst the rest of the arts.

he had accomplished a lot in his quarter life. winning photo competitions, going to college, and graduating with a business and photography degree. and now, he wants help young artist fulfill their dreams just like he was fulfilling his own. but there was still one thing he wanted to do before he started it all, he wanted to find who his birth father is. the problem was, there was no information on him. and he felt like it was finding a needle in a haystack. but he wasn't going to give up.

a love so powerful: this is the person that joshua never saw coming. yes, he has been in relationships before, and has hooked up with others, but this man really was someone he fell for first. the thing was, did he even feel the same? he never got so flustered like this before. and josh really is stuck feeling like that one awkward teenager he once was.

you are my brother: can be someone he grew up with and they are inseparable or possible the bradford's birth child. either way, him and joshua have been attached to the hip, and whenever one is around, so is the other. so watch out, cause they might bring some chaos.

best friends for life: if there was one person josh confided in practically everything, it was always his best friend. she's the girl that he tended to gravitate around for years, they even shared their first kiss together, and tried the dating, but decided that being friends was the right move. she's the one he always cared what she thought.

from bully to friends: it's crazy how the jock and the art kid once to hate each other. tale as old as time. but growing up had changed them both. one night out together and they ended up having a good time. who would have thought these unlikely duo would be good friends.

nathaniel taylor has always been someone that enjoyed the beauty of everything. from the arts to sports, he tried it all. but his interest for it was thanks to his older three brothers, who all were a bit different from the other. nathaniel knew he was different growing up, and he was good at being a chameleon. he always seem to fin interest in everything because he wanted to have something in common with other people. that and he cared a lot about the memories he'd make.

growing up in a farm, there was always something to do. and being in a big family, there was always a bit of chaos too. but he never mind it. he often missed it when a brother would go off to college. and although, nathaniel could easily thrive on his own, he missed his brothers dearly the moment they weren't around. it wasn't the same when his third eldest brother left that he realized how lonely he was. but he focused on his studies, the sports he was in, but also writing.

the moment he turned fifteen, he was exceptional at two things, creative writing and lacrosse. that was when a recruiter from a private school in the united states had found interest in nathaniel to come play for him. and it helped that he had high marks at school, granting him a full scholarship to attend the school. it had enticed nathaniel, but there was a part of him that worried for his parents, leaving them behind already. but they wanted what was best for their children, and they felt this was a lifetime opportunity for him.

it was a culture shock, but he had loved the states, and the things that came with it. and he had made some amazing friends out there. and he knew that even though lacrosse may not be something he'd do forever, he enjoyed playing for the school, winning them state championships and bringing trophies back to their school.

college was about the same. he had places that offered him athletic scholarships, but he knew that his love for writing ultimately what he wanted to do. when he was accepted to columbia university, he joined the lacrosse team while also focusing in the writing program they offered. it was the best of both worlds. but ultimately as he got older, the focus had shifted to just doing writing. and he was at the point where he started writing manuscripts of his own. a novel that mirrored his life, but with a fictional twist.

nathaniel was a novelist at age twenty-three, and he had a sequel story by age twenty-six. he was thriving. and he was ready to continue writing more. books about magic, and family bonds, and a brotherhood. it had even gotten attention from his alma mater. another opportunity was presented by them. and teaching was now another thing he had to add of all the things he had done in his life.

the winchesters were just an ordinary family out in the midwest. adam winchester was a well known real estate agent for the people in northern illinois. sarah winchester was a humble elementary school teacher. with their three children, they were a perfect all american family.

the eldest child, a daughter, went on to be some sort of astrophysics or something. the youngest son was on track to be the next shawn mendes. as for winter, well, winter, he thought he would walk in the same footsteps like his parents. either being a teacher or being a police officer. but one decision changed the course of his life.

winter was the middle child, and he never thought that someone like him would end up with the life he would get. after he finished high school, he ended up in california where he took a summer job up in big bear. most of the campers were from well known people in hollywood and los angeles. actors, models, producers, politicians, you name it. and on his final day, that was when he was 'discovered' so to speak. a modeling agent from wilhelmina models spotted him and gave him his card, asking to meet once he was finished with camp.

a model, winter? winter never really thought about that as a career. especially since college was starting and he wanted to focus on school that fall. but he decided to give it a shot, meeting with the agency and somehow ending up being picked to do his first photoshoot. and then from there it was all history. that year, he decided to give modeling a chance, taking a year off of school to focus on this new path in life.

so he ended up making a name for himself. he was the boy next door, the all american boy. he was loved, by the agency, by the fashion designers, by america. so he made it big, and he somehow managed to do both that and school at the same time.

after a few years, he was one of the biggest models of his age. he may have been the shortest male model, but when the cameras turn on, so did he. but then a shift happened, and he felt like the light was dimming. winter had permanently moved out to la. and that was when he got into a lot more things than modeling. voice acting being one. when his likeness was used for a video game, he was intrigued with the acting bit as well, and he got his chance to do a game. and then he did another.

winter wasn't sure how much longer modeling would be in the picture, especially when the modeling world was over the boy next door vibe. they wanted something different, something new. and winter wasn't sure if he would be able to ride this wave.

living like a married couple - ever since winter moved out to los angeles, he struggled to find a place to stay. but when he found the perfect roommate, he was pleasantly surprised how cohabitable they were. they were close. even their friends assume they could be secretly together. and the idea was enticing. taken by @starryid

two models competing for the crown - sometimes a friendly competition is all that anyone needs, but for these two male models, it's a different story. they were always competing to be the best. the one on top. some years it was winter, the other years is the other. there was a lot of tension between them, even a sexual one.

some friendships end up being like family - winter was glad to have his siblings, but sometimes having a friendship that was of your own, that ends up being their person, that's all winter needed. this is the person that ends up being like a sibling, the person he tells everything to, all his success and all his struggles. things that not even his own siblings know.

some friendships just don't last - this is a friendship that was once strong that ended up breaking. maybe from jealousy, or maybe a betrayal. this person that winter really admired, but ended up leaving behind because of feeling being hurt. and when they see each other again, would they act caddy or act like nothing's ever happened.

Somewhere in between passing out in the lab and waking up with Jubilee beside him, Harry had been dimly aware of Peter’s presence - he could hear his friend’s voice, dim and faint but it was there, trying to keep him here, keep him alive, echoing in his ears, following him even as he slipped into darkness.

After Jubilee, he’s the first one Harry wants to see - he’s going to have to catch up with a lot of people, especially if all of this had been broadcast by the media who never fail to miss a single thing. Jim, Bart, Bucky, Isabella, May - they’re all going to need to know he’s alright and Harry knows that. But once he’s a little more awake - not much, but a little - and he’s managed to convince Jubilee it’s okay to go home and take a shower, change her clothes, he wants to see Peter.

He’s ready for some more sleep but he forces himself to stay awake and wait for his friend. Harry doesn’t wanna think about what would have happened to him, if things would’ve gone so well, if Peter hadn’t been there. In fact, he’s sure it wouldn’t have. Harry owes him his life - and he needs Peter to know that. He needs to make sure his friend doesn’t blame himself for this, when he’s done something good.

“Don’t look at me like that, c’mon.” Harry sighs, beckoning Peter to come over to the bed. He’d promised Jubilee he wouldn’t try and force himself out of bed before he could handle it, so he hopes Peter doesn’t mind sitting with him. “Get over here, Pete.”

DRUMM: Great, thank you for being here. Have you noticed any changes in yourself since Pleasant Hill? We want to hear from you before we go over your charts.

DRUMM: S.H.I.E.L.D. previously had on file you were seventeen. Current scans clock you closer to thirty. How old do you think you are?

MOON: Yes! I just, don't really know who I am anymore. Before Pleasant Hill I remember just getting out of my bunker. I was trying to figure out whether or not I was going to get a GED? But then suddenly I remember already having gone through most of high school. I played hockey. Wait, did you just say thirty?

DRUMM: 26-28, most likely. Dr. Susan Storm-Richards has your full scans and charts and will be completing an official analysis. Has anyone explained multiversal theory to you?

MOON: The idea that our universe isn't the only one, yeah. How I know that I'm not so sure.

DRUMM: Can someone call Wanda? I think we need an expert on the matter.

MAXIMOFF: Wanda Maximoff, Scarlet Witch. I’m here at the request of Brother Voodoo. Cindy, have we met? If not, I’m Wanda.

MOON: We have met. But I'm sure you've been busy recently..

MAXIMOFF: Forgive me then. I’ve also been dealing with a few multiversal issues. I’m going to show you something. Are you comfortable with me using magic around you?

MAXIMOFF: Earth-616 is a reality different than ours. I’ve realized lately I’m no longer from here either. We’re all falling apart from one another. I’m going to ask you a series of questions. Just tell me the first thing that comes into your mind, yes or no.

MOON: Okay, shoot..

MAXIMOFF: Saya Ishii.

MOON: Do I know her? Yes. Like her? No.

MAXIMOFF: Your job as a reporter.

MOON: The Fact Channel, yeah...

MAXIMOFF: Cindy, I’m sorry. Before Pleasant Hill, you didn’t work for the Fact Channel. It hasn’t been formed. Saya Ishii is fifteen currently. These memories originated in Earth-616.

CINDY: So... So what about my parents then? My... God, the Negative Zone. But no, those aren't my parents. My parents are still missing, I've been following leads. And Peter was supposed to help... Peter... Wanda, I'm- I'm sorry, this is a lot. I feel like my head's spinning. It's like there's two of me.

MAXIMOFF: I’m not from Earth-616 so I’m not sure about all of the details. If you want, I can study some. Peter Parker from your reality is here -- Earth 616, that is. I don’t want to cast a spell on you, Cindy, but Marvel Girl could help calm the two selves in you. Because there are two you’s but soon there will only be one.

GREY: Do you want me to telepathically soothe you? Call it a psychic Xanax.

MOON: Are they fighting for dominance or something?! Because that’s kind of freaking me out…

MAXIMOFF: You may want to take Jean up on her offer, Cindy. There’s no fight for dominance. This new reality is winning.

MOON: Psychic Xanax.. Right, that sounds nice.

GREY: You’re going to feel a little tickle. I’m not trying to hide my presence in your head.

MAXIMOFF: Ready to continue?

MOON: <long pause> Okay, okay yes..

MAXIMOFF: It’s like falling into a hole, in my experience. For some people, the floor drops out and they find themselves in the dark. That’s what happened to Yelena. For others, like yourself, it’s a slow slide. By the time you join them at the bottom you don’t remember what it was like at the top. Who you were. I have to observe it all, watch it. I see reality eating at people. But I can’t fix this.

MOON: How long does it take? Can… I can’t even say goodbye to my family..

MAXIMOFF: If you’d like, but they’re transitioning with you. Whatever is happening to you is bleeding onto them. This whole reality is destabilizing. 

MOON: You know, normally I’d probably spiral into a full on panic attack. But whatever Jean’s doing is really doing wonders. That only sounds slightly terrifying.

GREY: I don’t make a habit of it, but this and cutting off people’s pain receptors can be helpful. You have enough going on, you don’t need to be scared as well.

MAXIMOFF: I wish this was easier. When I realized what was happening to me I went to study the Darkhold. I have to leave myself notes in case I forget. I’m not sure when I’ll fully change.

MOON: <laughing> I should have you around more often, Ms. Grey. Or not miss, because we’re like the same age. Wow this all is so weird…

GREY: We are, aren’t we? My aging was weird too. I was dead for a long time and when I came back, I was like this. The right age. It’s disorienting. 

MOON: I’m sorry, that you died. That doesn’t sound fun.

GREY: Fun? Definitely not. But it all worked out. Sometimes it feels like the world is ending -- and it is. The best thing we can do is make sure we’re taking care of yourself. I’d be willing to work with you, Cindy, if you want on a telepathic level. Maybe we can get some memories sorted out, make the transition easier.

MOON: Taking care of myself just doesn’t feel natural if the world is ending. But you’re right. And I would like that, Jean. I’m kinda scared my heads gonna explode when this telepathy wears off.

GREY: Can we end this, Jericho? I think we got  what S.H.I.E.L.D. wants. Her memory no longer line up with this reality. If it’s okay, I’d like to go start working on telepathic exercises to calm down mental overstimulation.

It will be a matter of weeks -- or even days -- before she completely transitioned. I believe Moon will be unharmed as it has been smooth so far, and her mental state upon its completion should be well adjusted. It is likely she will not remember the version of herself that existed in our reality at all.

     *  Note: Since LOGAN takes place in a dystopian world set in  the 20th Century Fox world of their ‘XMEN’ in 2029 -- I’ve had to tweak Laura’s canon timeline to fit in with the MCU. These are my compiled ideas/notes for where Laura would/might fit in, according to the MCU timeline. This can also be amended/altered depending upon who I am writing with & whatever stories we come up with on the sides. I will update/list those verses within this list as well. XO. - Betty. 

2012.  AVENGERS.   ✗ verse: ( mcu 001. avengers. )  i am not my enemy.  

     2002, Alkali-Transigen  aka ‘Essex Corp’ ) conducts it’s second round of the Weapon-X program utilizing children ‘perfected’ in a lab/facility. Laura Howlett ( known as X23 amid the program ) was ‘born’ into the program, the daughter of an unknown Latina woman ( who is more than likely murdered by the company shortly after Laura’s birth ) & James Howlett aka The Wolverine.       2012, a 7 year-old ‘killing dream’ begins her hardcore training under the Transigen umbrella, having grown up within their cage and knowing nothing but life within ‘The Facility’. During the events of ‘The Avengers’, Transigen ( more than likely a subsidiary or sister-company to HYDRA ) attempts to gather knowledge/the power of the alien forces that attack Earth. It is quite possible during this attack, the Xmen join the Avengers. - Transigen utilizes newer technology to harness a killing serum that triggers and strengthens the children’s mutant abilities. Through the years they continue to medicate and test the formula out on the children, including Laura;  to which they discover if they choose a specific target, she will stop at nothing until said target is vanquished. 

2015.  AGE OF ULTRON.  ✗ verse: ( mcu 002. ultron. )  i can do anything.  

     2013,  8-year-old Laura, along with her ‘brothers and sisters’ attempt to escape from the underground jail in Mexico ( where she was ‘born’ ) when given word/hope of a safe haven full of mutant-kind. The children are provided stories with the help of comic books smuggled into the facility. Some of which include stories of The Avengers, while others house a storyline shadowing the truth about the XMEN. Upon their first attempt of escape, the children are unsuccessful, and Essex Corp demands that they relocate to a ‘more secure’ unit in New York City. In 2015, the attack of ULTRON commences, more or less rocking the hard walls of the New York facility to rubble.        For the most part, with the help of HYDRA, Transigen is able to gather up their little ‘test subjects’, some having successfully gotten away, sadly Laura not being among them.      2016, an 11-year-old Laura with the help of the nurses, including Gabby, leads the pack to escape once more. It’s here Laura encounters her father ( Wolverine/James LOGAN Howlett ), Xavier & Caliban by psionic-ally following Charles’ guidance. During this timeline she goes on the wild chase, running from Transigen and relying on what remains of Logan’s strength. The climax ends with Xavier’s passing and Logan’s sacrifice, and the children successfully fleeing for the Canadian border to ‘Eden’ aka the safe haven which turns out to be a new school for the gifted, headlined by a group of vigilante mutants ( aka, the plotline of Mangold’s LOGAN. )      It should also be noted that during this time period, the X-men are dwindling/dying out, and going into hiding due to many people either wanting to lock them up out of fear or provide them ID badges and what not ( similar to the plot of the ‘Civil War’ in the comics. ) 

2017.  CIVIL WAR.   ✗ verse: ( mcu 003. civil war. )  my choice mine.   

     At 12, Laura quietly slips from the safe haven ( headmistress at this time being Emma Frost ) , feeling as though she’s really more of a danger than anything else, specifically due to the ‘death’ serum. Laura cannot control herself when injected with it, especially if she’s provided a ‘target’. To think she could end up killing one of her own terrifies her, not to mention the more she keeps running the less likely Transigen is to discover her.       During the time of the Avengers’ ‘Civil War’  ( between Tony & Steve ), Laura is only a child but spotted through the streets of New York. A time or two, Tony witnesses the feral child having pick-pocketing or slyly stealing a thing or two of necessity. Unable to confine the child or discover her whereabouts, he becomes aware of the ‘mutant strain’ in DNA, now knowing there is far more to this life than other worlds, planets, Norse gods and experimental projects gone wrong like Banner -- Hydra’s been hiding the secret unit to which not only have they began to suppress the X-gene that creates the ‘mutants’ but that they’ve been testing the effects of their serums and juices and what have you on children more-or-less created in a lab with the specific function of utilizing them as some ultimate mutant army. It is a terrible and harsh reality and one he does not take to lightly.      Contrary to the comics’ canon ( & the Xmen’s Civil War ) when Tony discovers she is a mutant child born and raised the way she was, he almost feels an obligation to protect her from others who felt mutants ought to be branded or ID’d and what not. ( A bit contradictory to the Xmen comics, I know, but it makes sense when you think of Steve/Capt America in the comics and how against Laura he was in the beginning, I feel he’d be a little apprehensive in the MCU as well. This could change depending upon whom I’m writing with. )       On the search for a place to help her ‘lay low’, Tony keeps her at the compound, until Pepper insists she just come on home with her. ( Again, this can be adapted depending upon the individual story. ) 

2018.  HOMECOMING.   ✗ verse: ( mcu 004. homecoming. )  are you sure i deserve salvation?  

     At age 13, since Pepper thinks it best that the pre-teenage girl get used to a ‘normal’ life, Laura begins attending public school, where she continues to attempt to ‘lay low’. Of course she does her very best to fit in, though there are many ‘human’ things she’s unaware of such as personal space and certain topics of speech. She basically follows the lead of people she feels she can trust like Peter Parker. Technically since Laura also ages much slower than most everyone, she will be a teenager for a longer period in her life. It is within these confines that she learns more about humanity, her compassion for the human race quite evident and her curiosity ever the more present. She spends a lot of time making up for lost time in her childhood, things she’s never discovered, places she’s never been -- a life she never knew she could have.  2019/2023.  ENDGAME.   ✗ verse: ( mcu 005. endgame. )  i’m f*cking wolverine. 

     During INFINITY WAR ( obviously just prior to this timeline ) Laura of course fights along side the team sustaining little to no injury even though she could’ve severed a limb or two, due to her mutation, she recovers rather quickly. Upon the realization that she could lose her family of mutants with Thanos’ plan, she scurries to get back to the school, begging many of the others to fight along side the Avengers. She succeeds in convincing several of the XMEN, including but not limited to Emma Frost,  to take part in the battle... but it is only to their demise as her healing is too rapid for his ‘curse’ and rather than fluttering into ash, she witnesses all those she holds dear dissipate having to see, once again, the utter destruction of those she holds dear. It tears her apart from the inside.       In 2023, Laura is just about to turn 17. -- Upon Tony’s return from space (2019), and the realization that Pepper hadn’t been taken away, Laura barricades herself within the hope she can have a somewhat normal family. She stays with Pepper and Tony, far away from the compound. She takes up her roll as a sister-figure to Morgan, something she absolutely takes seriously. She’d give it all up for this little girl -- hell, for this family. Tony stands in as an unlikely father-figure, but even moreso, Pepper as her mother. ( Again, these choices can be adapted/tweaked depending upon the storyline/plot we have -- maybe Laura grew up at the compound, or with someone else or with Aunt May... the possibilities/ what-ifs are endless... She could’ve also gone off on her feral way, etc etc. ) 

     When the final battle hits, and those who were taken away appear within the portals, a sudden relief washes over her. She has much more to fight for, and she gives it her all. But it is at the loss of Tony where she feels her world crumble once more, wondering if she should go off on her own and call it good, because it seems no matter where she attempts to land, there is far more loss to be had. She contemplates whether or not Logan had it correct when he was always insistent they stay far away from people, isolate and keep to themselves. Of course that was a much different time in the world and Transigen/Hydra has/have more things to worry about than hunting her down lately -- still, it’s a threat.        With Peter Parker’s ( and possibly others ) insistence, she remains close by. 2023/24.  FAR FROM HOME.  ✗ verse: ( mcu 006. far from home. )  el que con lobos anda a aullar se enseña. 

     Basically, Laura ( now, tech, post-snap almost 18 ) is hanging out with SHIELD, there to aid Peter where needed, more or less helping to keep an eye on him, along with Happy doing her best to stay out of trouble.
