🧪 19.02.2024 // I went to my 4 lectures this morning before going back home to study a bit (I also asked questions to my professor and I'm pretty happy about it ahah).

I ended up studying 3 more hours: I studied pharmacology and medchem and I'm happy because I managed to do (almost) all the things I had to do! I also had the results of an "optional course" I was in and they're great but I'll talk about it in another post :))

Moreover my parents came back from their trip and I decided to stay with them one more week. I know it's gonna be really tiring as I'll have to mask 24/7 but I don't have any better choice for the moment :// At least I'll be able to unmask when studying.

Anyway this explain why I'm pretty tired after this day ahah

I also did some groceries but nobody cares expect me ahahah

Yes these are my uni notes from 2018. Yes I’m glad I’ve kept them because today, I, a fully qualified pharmacist, could not figure out how beta blockers work and had to use these notes. Help

Bought a notebook to register my tasks with Eisenhower method.

Bought another notebook to put on info that I'll need on handy all the time. Like this one about the law over interchangeable medicines.

Found this book on my drive, about law and practices on pharmacy. Well, it's a MUST reading, for sure. (Classified as on non urgent, but important task)

Adding references to my care plans is a snooze, and the fact that none of us can really see the point isn’t helping with motivation, but at least we’re all in agreement 📝

Coffee, where/whenever. It could provide valuable nutrition and I’ve got a habit of going on long walks/runs and ending up feeling faint, so coffee would be more useful, for me ☕️

Downloading Instead of Copy-Pasting

What do you do when you want an information from the internet and you want to have a softcopy of it? Take for an example “Pharmacy” from a site Wikipedia

Now, it’s so time consuming or hard to copy this and paste it to Word. An easy way to save this, saving effort and time is just to directly save it into a PDF File.

Step 1. Click the settings on upper right corner and click print.

Step 2. Choose the destination as “Save as PDF” and then click save.

Step 3. Just choose the destination you want.

And then viola! It is saved. you can also do this on your phone or on you tablet, just make sure you are using Google Chrome! :D

🌼 07.04.2024 // It's the beginning of my two-weeks revision period before my exams and I started with 3 hours of pharmacognosy (even tho I hate that subject). It went slowly but surely and I reviewed the basics.

I made pancakes to motivate me to study on a (rainy) sunday (and it worked, they were delicious!!) and took some pictures of the flowers in my garden :))

Yes, it's a mess!

Found my grad pharmacology material. Turns out I didn't threw it away. It was just... on a box hidden behind some clothes on hangers. Maybe I let those there to avoid throwing any of it away by mistake, like a safe place, MAYBE TOO SAFE.

First I have to organize it according with the theme. Since I'll start tomorrow, well, I need to RUSH because I can't remember a lot of this content.

All I could though about is to pass it all to ONENOTE, and then, keep on adding content.

God help me!

2 Exams and a Project

IPP exam yesterday made me want to pull my own teeth out. I don’t know why, I just couldn’t focus. So today, I made soup, organised a revision plan for my third and final exam for this session, and started week four of C25K 🌾

Mon - Would you rather be the funniest person in the room, or the most intelligent?

Funniest, but only as long as the rest of them have a sense of humour as well. Being funny in a room of people who don’t appreciate doesn’t tend to end well, in my experience 🤭

Tue - Would you rather win $50,000, or your best friend win $500,000?

My best friend’s my dog, so I’m quids in 😎

Failing that, still my best (human) friend - if she knew the circumstances she’d be more than happy to share, and the majority of it would still go to charity and things like that, we’re lucky enough to have enough 🍀
