I have not been able to stop thinking about her ever since I saw this design. I took some liberties with the outfit, giving her more of a sports bra and biker shorts and a sleeve (I am not sure if it is a sleeve or haki, I am running with it)

The first time I noticed it, I couldn’t take my eyes off of it. Sneaking rapid glances while I folded laundry as if it would knock on my door if I let it be. A bright, red light hung up in the sky, just as radiant as the stars surrounding it. Initially, I dismissed it as just the neighboring water tower’s security light. When I awoke the next day, it remained; glaring at me through the treetops in broad daylight.

“Was this the end of the world? Meteors or aliens or space falling down on top of us?” It burned red--would falling meteors even look the same? I wondered how close they had to be before you noticed them and if they shone, if they smoldered. I wondered how quick they came, if they lit up the sky, if you could even comprehend their size. “What a beauty,” I thought to myself, as I leaned out the screen door and watched the light’s steady beam. There was no wind, no crickets; the trees stood still and the air dug cold into my skin. “to finally meet the sun’s gaze before I walk with you again.”
