I always manage to miss August 7th, my anniversary for the second brain surgery to remove that stupid tumor. To be fair, I was writing a short story all day so it wasn’t for nothing. It’s been 5 years (16 since the first op) and I’m remaining positive. While in Scotland I had my levels checked regularly (thank you free healthcare) and they were amazingly low (even at my most stressful moments in grad school). I believe I’ve figured out my body and what I need to do to keep it healthy. Scotland helped with that- but I’m just grateful to still be 100% healthy. Stay strong my fellow cushies, and anyone suffering from a hard disease. 1. I love this mirror. I always look great in it & it was $10. 2. I have FINALLY done it. I reached my goal size of US12. I can wear my old jeans from 2014 again. I feel more confident. Day one of Ovasitol. For all my #pcosfighters and #cysters -what are your experiences? Good? Bad? Great? As I sit here with a monster cyst on my left ovary (among all the smaller guys) all I can think is that I'm just really looking forward to seeing what this can do.
