It’s Halloween today for me so I’m watching Monster High movies with my plush QPP, Lily, to celebrate! I wanted to watch ‘Frights, Camera, Action!’ because it’s the only G1 movie I haven’t seen yet but Lily insisted we watch Ghouls Rule first because it’s about Halloween and I gave in because it’s more about celebrating than the movies themselves ^w^

Expresso Bumper 1

The first Expresso Bumper, this is exciting! I know Wordpress automatically shares the posts here, but it seems like a robot to not post a follow up (unless the techums like that)

I interviewed someone on their experiences, and wrote a short bumper for it here! Expresso Bumper will be to keep folks entertained when I have little to no comic material, plus it helps keep spirits high when things are happening around the world. The Bumpers will not just be experiences, but can be blog posts about objectum and object issues. In the bumpers, we will talk about adult or NSFW themes at times, and as a mature audience, I want you all to have extreme caution when reading at times.

I believe that when an extreme topic is shown or talked about (I will not censor objects or trigger tag companions) I will do my all to tag it!

Naturum

naturum is an objectum term for those who feel that they are attracted to everything that is natural and from nature, it can be caves, riverbeds, trees, woods, deserts, canyons, rivers, rocks, waterfalls, landscapes with it and etc. the person that identifies as a naturum can be aro, ace, and because of that, personal choice or begin in objectum spectrum the individual is attracted by nature. But they can be on other spectrums and genders too!

Apparently since I've stepped away from the objectum community there has been some weird exclusion towards Plushum people.

I just wanna state this blog is a safe space for all plush lovers with any form of attraction (sexual, romantic, platonic, ect.)

We have plushum alters, infact our objectum awakening started with a plushie.

Stop acting like it's the same thing as being a zoo. Stop acting like other objects have some form of moral superiority. Stop the in-fighting, our community is small enough as it is we don't need to isolate eachother over which objects someone loves.

How I realized I am objectum (specifically plushum):

When I was very little (though the memories are blurred) I remember spending at least like 10 minutes every morning kissing my plushies. I always had so many plushies that I adored. I think my first objectum “relationship” (I’d call it platonic) was with a Webkinz German Shepard I named Charlie. One day I lost him and never got him back and I was so upset for like months on end.

My life went on until around middle school (so I was like 11-13) I started seeing a new therapist and she had this one Beanie Baby in her office, it was a bird but I remember I loved holding him and I wasn’t entirely sure why but looking back now I think it was my first plush crush. I remember looking online for him and he was really expensive and I was really upset about it because there was no way my parents would buy me a Beanie Baby that cost that much. Eventually I stopped seeing that therapist and I kind of moved on but he would cross my mind every now and then.

During early high school I started going on walks more often and there’s a store near my house that sells Jellycat plushies and I remember looking and seeing this bunny. Oh my god, I was in love. I knew what it was and I didn’t understand why I felt the way I did about him but I bought him and took him home and became really attached to him. I still had those feelings about him though so I looked it up and discovered what plushophilia was and it clicked. He was my first real plushie love and I do miss his soft fur and floppy ears and cute tail. I believe my Mom accidentally donated him and I was a bit crushed.

When I was about 14-15 I rebounded to this penguin plush (can’t remember the brand or anything) and he became my best friend for a while but after I bit I drifted from him.

Now I’m in a relationship with my plushie of Bugs Bunny who is also my fictional other.

A few weeks ago I was at a friend’s house (he isn’t plushum or objectum but has many plushies) and he had a plushie of Bugs Bunny on his bed and I instantly started crushing on it. He noticed me looking at it and he told me I could hold him if I wanted. My life was changed from that moment, every time I go to see him I get reunited with that Bugs plushie. Unfortunately, the plush was sold out so I couldn’t get that exact one but I was desperate so I took to EBay.

And I saw him

I saw the most adorable 1991 Bugs Bunny plushie and I was instantly head-over-heels and I needed him. I bought him as soon as I had the money and he arrived. Ever since I revived him we’ve been inseparable.

I think I’ve truly been plushum for my whole life but didn’t really grasp what it was until I was older.

Hello all!! Im new to this space, and am looking for guidance in exploring the objectum/plushum community as i am questioning currently.

for certain, i am posic-Platonic. That i already know.

I have had sexual interactions with plush, and have made out with one in particular while making love, and certainly felt mutual sexual attraction, but do not feel a special connection to any but one yet, and our relationship is platonic, like a married couple without sex; i think she may be asexual?? I don't know. What i do know is she is my most prized plush though, hands down. I buy her clothes, and take her on long trips with me when i take them. We, however, have never kissed or made love. She feels more than a friend, though??

Anyway,, i still feel like i am missing THE ONE. My special plush (plush wife??) Is okay with me seeking another to add to our romantic situation; one that i can love like her, but also make love to. ((She is gentle, a lot older than me, and wise.)) That journey is the one im on now, and one i made this blog to help others with. I hope to help others find their partners, too!!

I personally would! Techrum (I think is the way it's spelled) individuals are often falling for AIs and robots of every shape, size, make, and model!

And plushum attraction (objectum attraction in general, really), can 100% be platonic! There is no one in our community who will tell you you're "not objectum enough" for only experiencing a platonic attraction to objects. (People who aren't objectum won't usually look at a stuffed animal and go "that's my best friend, she understands me more than anyone else")

I thought some people might be curious about that so I will answer this here. It's mostly due to discomfort from us as the moderators as well as server members. The rule isn't against plush posic people in general and could probably be worded more clearly but the full actual rule is here:

There's other objectum servers that allow that kinda thing with plushum but it's just a rule in our particular server to have that as a boundary

if you're platonic objectum with plushes then thats all good! But the main focus of the server a lot of the time is os/or and ficto feelings and the like so if you were only plantonic/posic with plushes and not anything else it might not even be the right crowd you're looking for anyway
