The Voicemail.

there should’ve been a moment where Caroline explains more of her mental competition against Elena. It could’ve explained some of this Klaroline and later Steroline mess in comparison to/with Forwood. I get Caroline believed Elena had things easier, but it wasn’t Elena’s fault that Caroline felt so insecure all the time. But I personally don’t view Caroline and Elena as friends due to how Caroline acted. Which again isn’t the fault of Elena and they were teenagers. Jealously happens all the time. However, Caroline being honest that she would’ve wanted two guys fighting over her and Elena possibly explaining that having two people fight and basically dictate all your choices or thoughts isn’t all that great either. Caroline at a time had her mind set on Tyler. So, it wasn’t necessarily any love triangles in a sense but the thought that other people were interested in her at the same time did spark her interest sometimes.

top 5 plecverse plotlines

1. Caroline opening the Salvatore School and ALL it entails (aka Klaus' check, the twins and Hope's misadventures in Legacies etc.)

2. Stefan + Damon being turned human (and both against their will iirc xDD) and their respective fates. I can't objectively decide who had it worse

3. Klaroline - Yes, yes, it's technically a ship, not a plotline, but to me...it is THE plotline that changed the entire narrative

4. The Sun and the Moon Curse - I wouldn't say it was the best plot twist in the history of television, but it's certanly a candidate for it. Esp bc of how much sense the reveal made! (Plus it is the reason Caroline became a vampire so kudos)

5. Hm, hard to pick. Let's go with the introduction of the Gemini coven and everything that followed as it gave us Lizzie and Josie

Honorable mentions: the sirens in s8 but mostly for the one that was Josie and Lizzie's nanny; Marcel and Klaus petty war over New Orleans; Bonkai anf the prison world; TO s5 (where I don't remember what exactly happened but I know I enjoyed it for KC and teenage!Hope

STACKEDIARIES | february 19th | “let her go”

STACKEDIARIES | may 13th | “founder’s day”

“Damon has to change.”

[Caption: gifs from The Vampire Diaries. Bonnie and Stefan talk in the street, after Damon’s been saved from John Gilbert’s plan. Stefan nods and assures Bonnie that they want the same thing. Bonnie looks at him with scepticism and points out that they both want to protect the people they care about, but that for him, that includes Damon. Calmly, she tells him “You saw what I was able to do tonight. I know who I am now.” and promises that if Damon spills “so much as one drop of innocent blood”, she’ll take him down, even if she has to take Stefan down with him. Stefan, who has been staring at her, measuring her, says “Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.” Serious and subtly threatening, Bonnie replies “Let’s hope it doesn’t.” The two of them stare at each other for a long moment, before Bonnie turns around and walks away.]
