4. possibility B is that part of trying to reinvent himself during their brief divorce era (post pulling rooster’s papers ca. 2002-2005) was getting adult braces and the like 4 times ice saw him during that period he was just so bewildered he didn’t think to comment on it at all

I was looking at some genshin clip/meme channel clipping haitham's voicelines abt kaveh pointhing out how much he talks about him. and there's something that caught my eye.

Okay so idk if this is a rant of an ask for advice becuse ddeep down I might know the answer but I'm tellingyou anyway..

For a year or so I'm seeing this guy who's working at this mini grocery store at a random train station in Amsterdam, I always foundhim to be attractive but he rarely innitiated any onversatyion outside the usual 'hi' , he never greeted me when passing by on his way homke or anything like that either which was fine sincee we didn't knew each other.

Hoever as time went by we started talking a bit more and he seemed to genuinly be friendly to me, he even asks me how I'm doing sometimes andat some pointhe's a bit of a playful teaser, which I am too so we're basically teasing each other from time to time. He's got the most beautifulsmile when he's talking to me and I think I've seen those twinkles in his eyes like a little who has seen Star Wars for the first time. Haha

Today I saw him again and it was quite the (new) usual but this time he even approached me after his work when he was about to go catch his metro. My bus had a delay so he saw me standing there. We talked a brief moment until he had to go.

Thing is, at some point I asked for his instagram which he didn't mind giving, even though he's not that active I still decided to dcheck his acount and I found out he has a kid and maybe a girlfriend?? He never talks about her or his kid but I believe he knows that I know. I wouldn't ind asking him out especially since we are on casual talking terms but I would never be a homewrecker. Maybe they have broken up a long time ago i thought but when i asked him if he wasn't going to celebrate Christmas with his family he would only nod his head without speaking or even looking me in the eye. Something's up but i don't know what.

anyway, i get where you are coming from and i strongly believe that a friendship is a strong foundation of a relationship. i mean, it’s nice that he talked to you and that you are talking more but i would actually test the waters first.

maybe he is single and has broken up with the girl, but the fact is that i have trust issues, you know? i wouldn’t ever want to put myself in a position where i’ll be the villain of the story, even though my intentions were pure and, in this case, you wouldn’t want to be the homewrecker. many guys have this tendency of being too friendly with people, not minding how their partners would feel about some stuffs.

also, i read the follow up anon and maybe he talks to this colleague about you, but maybe it’s time to befriend the colleague first and test the waters with her, you know? maybe you become friends and she might know more about him- hoping she’s a girls girl because i would totally be honest about certain stuffs if i were her, i care about my friends not being out in a bad situation and i’m one to not tolerate stuffs that would hurt the other girl.

my advice is to befriend both of them first, test the waters, you know? maybe that would be easier to understand what his real intentions are. you never know in these days!

Hey so the lyrics to "Miracle" have become very relevant to v8 right? Like "*under siege*, sinking fast, crumbling quickly, fear and shame, endless pain, *floundering*"?? We really aren't ready for what's coming huh

I decided to go listen to Miracle since I haven’t fully listened to all the songs and thanks for pointhing this out! Because yeah the lyrics of Miracle are very relevant.

There are so many lines that are just way too fitting that I would probably end up quoting the whole song. Notable mentions aside from what you already pointed out though: “Where’s our happy ending”, based on the v8 intro I’d say “happy? never again”. And of course "every life is on the line” and “the time to act is short”.

But while most of the song is very bleak, there’s also “we’re praying for a miracle but for now we’ll stand and fight” which is exactly what they’re doing right now in volume 8. And then at the end, “a miracle, right in front of our eyes”.

We definitely aren’t ready for what’s coming, it’s going to get worse before it gets better. But if Miracle keeps being incredibly appropriate, I hope that also means we’ll see a miracle by the end of the volume. Something like help arriving from Vacuo, Mistral, or Menagerie.
