Playing Pokémon Masters again and a little confused about how this 'upgrade Zinnia' event works. One of the item I need to unlock Rayquaza's mega evolution per battle? In a stamina based game where I don't think there are any stamina recovery items? What. Do I just dump all my stamina there until I unlock Rayquaza's mega?

I mean there is that hard battle that gives twenty of the item, but my teams don't seem strong enough for it and I'm still struggling to find out who to commit to powering up, I got lucky with logging in just to get the chars I wanted when they appeared like N, Ash, and Wally.

Currently using Drake/Cynthia/Gladion, just spamming earthquake and multi attack while Drake fills up the move gauge.

Fuck it. I’m rewriting this entire arc. I promise will not be biased towards certain characters (maybe) , and I will create a narrative that is actually satisfying to watch unfold. If anyone sees this who is willing to give me ideas, please feel free to message me or interact with this post

After Lance kept on kicking my butt I FINALLY beat him!

Tips for anyone stuck on Lance that I learned!

Lucian’s Growl will lower your opponents Attack and one of his passive abilities allows his attacks to lower you opponents special def. Which is perfect if your battling with fairy types

Sycamore is a great choice to have as support against Lance, if your able to time Horn Leech right you can be able to save Scyamore some extra time to keep taking hits

Valerie has Draining kiss so use her to get some more health! Also Using her and Sycamore to spam Dazzling gleam will give you a big advantage of you use it enough

May I request your Dad Lance thoughts for the Johtet 👀 (recently came across the phrase as Johto + Quartet. I think it goes better than Joh4 bc I don't like numbers haha) and would you mind if I incorporated them (or your other thoughts) into my fanfic visions?

well you see my thing is i tend to view lance as more of a crazy uncle sort of figure towards them instead of any sort of that because i have done my absolute best to block the mangling of his character in hgss out of my mind (because i think hgss tried to make him more. uh. heroic-sounding??? champion-like???? and it resulted in lance becoming the blandest dude known to pokémonkind) and instead focus on his original gsc character. who. yknow. was sassy as all hell and loved tearing team rocket to shreds. so instead of being some ultra responsible coddling dad-type figure i think he would just be like WHO WANTS TO GO SET A TEAM ROCKET BASE ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!!! and the johto quartet would just all start cheering like maniacs. do you guys remember in gsc when he sent his dragonite to physically attack ariana to get her away from the protagonist (like earlier in the game when he had his dragonite use hyper beam against a grunt) and then strutted up all nonchalantly and went "Hey! Don't be so selfish. Spread the fun around." who is doing it like this man i love him

Trying to think of characters who aren't in Pokémon Masters yet, aside from the obvious 'everyone from post SS.' AZ seems like the big one, since technically he's XY's final boss and a major untapped part of the lore. Mr Briney is probably my niche pick who will never actually get in but would get all my gems if he does.

Actually, are most of the minor XY allies in, Tierno, Trevor, and those two lab assistants? XY's cast really got a rough deal huh. Don't think Team Plasma's sages are in either. Not sure any of these will be getting in soon either, can't imagine too many people rolling for them.

Also still need to get through Ultra Moon, but I don't think I've seen the Ultra Recon squad around either, or Wicke and Faba.

I love the implication lysandre and lusamine are besties. I also love that rose is besties with fucking maxie and Lysandre.

lusamine n lysandre should be besties she could forcibly fix him i think. also lysandre & rose is so underrated people are too afraid to let a french man and an english man work together
