reading xie lian’s POV is actually hilarious once you realise xie lian isn’t oblivious at all, he basically guesses most things immediately, he’s just taken the veteran autism tactic of “it’s too much effort to figure out when it’s appropriate to mention that i know something, so i’ll just pretend i don’t know until someone says it aloud”. sometimes it turns into a bit. the truth might be embarrassingly obvious, but social cues are hard, and xie lian has infinite time to wait for the other person to blink first.

Hi! I’m a big fan of both the Lackadaisy comic and animated series, but I am a little concerned about the character of Rocky. I’ve noticed that you art of him tends to be mean spirited, I understand if cruelty in your art is your personal taste but is it possible to make some not mean art of him? I don’t mean to come off as rude or aggressive but could you, if possible, have your art of Rocky be more happy and not cruel? Anyways I love the series and I am excited for the future!

but also I only have so much time and that "Mrs. Bapka and Rocky have an adorable grandson/grandma style dinner date" ship fic I yearn for needs time to cook.

Tentative writing plans:

Finish Little Zuko (it's so close guys, I have two chapters I haven't posted yet and 2-3 more to write and then that's all she wrote, literally)

Start poking at Cheating At Pai Sho; get at least to the "Season One Toph" part because Season One Toph is a MENACE the likes of which you cannot fully imagine. You think you can but unless you're imagining The Gaang's raw terror of her (and Zuko's complete obliviousness to said terror) then you cannot.

Blind Zuko story outline is currently with my sensitivity reader, and posting shall begin once applicable edits are made

Priority will of course be with book three of Fox's Tongue, aka The One That Pays My Grocery Bills, but that is where we're at for broad plans just now
