WASPEON (Bug)

WASPEON is a bug type eeveelution, and its based on wasps and bees. I dont really have much to say about this one, it's pretty straightforward, but here are the wasps I used as refrence for their color palettes.

Bede Headcanons

-His hatterene has a nickname and it's probably something dumb like Hatty or something, since the game says he got it when he was really young

-He'd much rather prefer living in a forest in s tiny cottage filled either fairy type pokemon than in a city

-Definelty makes fun of Unovans (British vs American slander exists in the pokemon world)

-Really enjoys ballads

-Took a lot to get him to open up to Opal because he was so used to being treated like disposable waste. So when Opal actually thought he could do something meaningful, he was a bit surprised and also a little flattered. He secretly enjoys her company

-Prefers to stay awake and is a giant night owl

-His gym is quite controversial because it's dual typed instead of pure fairy or pure psychic types

-He's used to people being annoyed with him because he was labeled as a "problem child" when he was still in an orphanage. Not used to Gloria/Victor actually wanting to be friends with him, and as much as he says he finds them annoying, he really does like them

-Prefers a lot of sweet foods, but pretends to like bitter foods because it's "sophisticated." His favorite food is vanilla cupcakes

- His favorite flowers are pink foxgloves

-With his color scheme being pink, blue, and white, he is definitely trans. Opal as well

-Gloria calls him "Grandma" to get on his nerves. It works

-He's biracial with one of his parents being white and the other being black. Look at his hair and tell me I'm wrong

-Really loves reading. His favorite genres are fantasy stories with chosen one heroes

-This isn't a headcanon, but I find the change in his eyes a super cute and neat detail. In the beginning of the game, his eyes were just purple and black, and kinda plain. They looked like everyone else's eyes in the game. But when he became a gym leader, he got sparkles in his eyes, and they also had a lot softer default expression. He became happier when he left Rose and became a Gym Leader

it is so refreshing to see ppl be like normal and regular about other artists taking heavy inspiration 😐 way too many ppl start screaming and crying over it for some reason /gen

i understand why some people might! especially depending on visibility and audience, and level of heavy inspiration.

i know there was a point where ppl thought i was copying a popular artists character and i got so scared solely bc i feared people coming after me.

but i also understand bc I myself have taken heavy inspiration from others before, and also because I myself am not somebody who Sticks (or Stuck bc i dont do heavy focused style inspo stuff anymore, because, surprise! i grew and frankensteined it into my own work after i learned what i like!) with an emulated art style for long

(see: my post where I struggle naming inspirations bc my inspirations arent...extremely, consistently, visibly, immediately influential on my work.)

i like giving ppl the benefit of the doubt for that reason... I now also understand and recommend naming/mentioning the ppl who inspired you when you do so as it immediately sets that level of understanding! (like oh, its a style study/inspiration and not somebody plucking my hard work and planning to cause a scene abt it)

like even recently that person who was copying my art down to the ideas (literally redrew a personal smunker doodle comic about smthng that actually happened to me, as their sona), i decided not to intervene because well, they're young, not harming anyone or screwing me out of anything, there's a chance they learn what they need from my stuff and move on in a few months. that's how you Learn sometimes...i did the same when i was in high school, i grew and moved on art wise... no good would have come out of someone attacking me about it bc its... common !

i do like seeing how ppl are interpreted and inspired by my stuff because im curious, and have enjoyed what ive seen mentioning me directly ^_^ but ill still say the only mistake made in this specific case was getting caught ykwim? "do what you want but dont let me see it" (except i do wanna see it ykwim)

How would the self-aware versions of Akari or Rei react to a dare-Devil player that constantly puts them in danger. No stealth involved, just brute force and violence. There is little explanation or active voice encouraging them, just snappy and precise movements.

I remember the moment I got to Arcanines tombstone, I needed to swan dive off the cliff. Sure, I saved the game before I did, but it’s still gotta hurt.

One of my favorite things to do is to jump off cliffs and clutch the landing using Brivary. Occasionally, I just jump off of them and pass out because I let my intrusive thoughts win.

The kid recalls the player making them tease wild and Alpha Pokémon for funnies, dodging bullet hell levels of projectiles. It has varying degrees of success, many items being lost. Or time literally reset as the player fortunately saved beforehand.

Then there's all the rematches they have with the Nobel Pokémon. It’s a lot, and it’s impressive how quick they can beat them all at one point in time.

Most Wardens say that the Nobles shouldn’t be taken lightly…but with how scarily quick the player can. It kinda looks like the player is going all out, or not putting any effort at all.

Honestly I think it depends how often you actually black out in game.

If its often, they won’t feel particularly happy. At least not at first. Are you trying to kill them?!

But once you get the swing of things, and become incredible at dodging… its impressive. They won’t lie.

Suddenly Alpha pokemon and the nobles aren’t that scary. You have them moving with practiced ease, avoiding the most deadly attack.

Though it doesn’t stop the mini heart attacks you give them when dropping from a cliff to summon Braviary at the last second.

They do realize though you do care. You had them go through all of that to sharpen your skills, make them impossible to hit. You don’t actually want them hurt.

Your daring exploits though still definitely give them a mini heart attack though. They won’t ever be completely used to almost going splat-
