Kledinger but magic swap/theme swap idea

Something yada yada both of them get caught in a magic mishap and Heim gets the Noxian vibes while Kled has the piltover tech look. Neither of them changed personalities for say, just vibes

hmmmmm this is tricky

ive never really thought of how kled and heimerdinger would look if you were to swap their origin cities but if i could this is what id imagine

kled, now a hextech engineer instead of a old war veteran, would look much more well kept. i think he’d lose the hat and groom his fur back, like a mullet. maybe cut his hair shorter because its way long in the back. he’d probably wear some kind of covering on his right eye with little piltover trademark embezzlements on it, kinda playing into the overall vibe of “clean” that piltover exudes on the surface. considering the personality of a piltover kled, i think he’d still retain some of his brash and arrogant personality, although instead of the feeling of an enraged hillbilly, it would come from the point of view of a disgruntled and troubled old man, one who is wise but lacks peace. i think he’d be easily irked, but never lash out like he used to; i think instead of trying to pick a fight, he would go into defensive mode and try and protect his background and his self-worth (even when it’s not being threatened). i can’t exactly describe this look that i crafted for him is, but do with it what you will

as for heimerdinger, he’s part of noxus, and that should reflect in his outfit. heimerdinger’s giant friggin head of hair would probably be cut shorter and then tied and slicked into a bun. his skin under his fur is probably really really pale…… anyways he’d wear a dark grey-brown hood with platings built into it + he wears armor on his sleeves, and then a long loincloth that sits on his shoulders and a pair of shorts. i also imagine that instead of using turrets and waiting for people to fight him, he would instead play both defensive and offensive and carry a GIANT METAL RIOT SHIELD

don’t worry, i imagine in a world of noxian heimerdinger he would be much more physically built, i guess enough to hull around a giant sheet of metal. but who cares in his pool party skin he’s chiseled

i think he’d still be a little kind hearted with tougher skin, but gain a bit of a brutish undertone in his personality. he’d be a little less forgiving and lose a little less hope in everything and everyone (hope as in the hope that people have good intentions in their actions), but still have hope in mostly everything.

there’s probably something else i could’ve done for both of them but there’s what i think they’d look and act like if their regions were swapped! this was fun and also a big challenge for me?? i have never thought of piltover’s and noxus’ fashion and this was kind of like an exercise for designing said outfits

The Book and a Cocktail

A/N: I saw the pool party Sett skin and the one tweet about cocktails and I just felt infused with the inspiration. Is this my best? Probably not but I love Sett and ahhhhhh. This is kinda disjointed and not the best at all and I’m sorry. Also, my summary is awful and I’m so sorry about that. 

Pairing: Sett x Reader

Summary: A day at the beach, you want to finish a novel, but things keep interrupting you. 

CW: Implications of sex. Nothing explicit, though! 

“Are you just gonna stay here all day?” asked your boyfriend. You shielded your eyes as you stared up at the man. The novel in your hand was just getting good and you refused to break away from it. He’d managed to convince you to go to the beach and you had chosen to spend the day in the shade and not in the sweltering heat. 

“Yes,” you curtly answered, “Is there a problem?” 

“How’s spending the day reading a book better than catching some rays and riding waves?” Sett had crouched down to be closer to your eye level. Or closer to figuring out what book you were reading since you’d been keeping it a secret. 

“Listen. Leona lent me this book for the day and I gotta crunch it all in because otherwise, I miss out on the chance of finishing it. Besides, don’t you have other things to be doing, Mr. Lifeguard?” you asked as you pulled the book closer to you and far away from his ever-approaching grasp. 

He laughed before saying, “You got me there, babe. Fine. I’ll let you be.” You watched him walk away before turning your attention back to the book.

Right as you found your place, you heard someone scream “watch out” before you felt a ball smash into your head. Thankfully, no sand got into your face but volleyballs hit hard. You blearily saw Syndra run up and ask if you were fine as she retrieved the ball. You only nodded as you regained your senses and tried to look back at your book. The ache soon subsided and you continued reading.

Some chapters later, you heard commotion on the left side of the beach and saw Taric jump down from his lifeguard seat and start running...to the right side of the beach. “Taric!” you yelled in an attempt to get his attention. “Wrong way!” The warnings and redirections went unnoticed until another beachgoer joined into your screaming that got the lifeguard running in the right direction. Whether the person in need of assistance was truly alright or not was an uncertainty that you would rather keep. What number strike was that on his chart?

Your eyes read the lead up to the romantic confession when Taliyah interrupted up to you and asked for help. Her hair had gotten a bit jostled around from suffering earlier and the tie in it had been shifted around and was falling off. “Come here,” you said and worked on adjusting her hair to be more stable for when she entered the waves again. “There.” 

No sooner did you turn back to your book that Syndra’s voice alerted you once again of incoming danger. At least you were not hurt and managed to dodge the ball coming to your direction. You returned to the love story after handing the ball back to her. 

Before you continued reading, Zoe came up to you and asked to build a sand castle with her. “Sure, why not?” As much as you hated getting sand all over you, her puppy-dog eyes made it hard to refuse and you found yourself spending some time in creating sand designs. When you returned to your book, you found yourself being interrupted again by something else. This time, it happened to be Heimerdinger.

“No, I am not sure how that would work, Heimerdinger.” You had repeated the sentence so many times to the point where you just knew that he was not listening to you. His initial question about the sand castle (after having seen the masterpiece that you and Zoe had made) had devolved into ramblings about sound structure building and other things that you could not think of properly. You had stopped paying attention at some point and felt agitated that you were unable to finish the book. You were so close. 

By the time that he had finished rambling, you noticed the sun going down. Leona had managed to track you down, even though you prayed she would not, and gotten the book back. You lied about it being good and it seemed like a decent enough answer to the woman. She promised to lend you the sequel sometime. If only that mattered to you when you didn’t know the ending of the first one. You stood dejectedly with your beach items, waiting for your boyfriend. “Are you all ready to leave?” asked Sett, walking up to where you were. 

“I guess...” you trailed off. Leona had long since left the beach and all courage to ask her to borrow it again had gone down the drain as she had left. 

“What’s wrong?” he asked as he pulled you into his arms. “Was the book not good?” 

“Actually, I wasn’t even able to finish the book….It’s like people kept deciding to interrupt me with everything. At this point, Syndra and her volleyballs are absolute liabilities,” you rambled. 

You stopped talking as he chuckled. “What?” you asked, looking up at him. 

“Nothing, nothing. If you’re so bothered by not finishing the book, I’ll get it for you. How’s that sound?” he said. 

“Really?” you asked. You hated asking him for things but you wanted that book so badly. You needed to know the ending. 

He nodded. “Thank you so much,” you said, pecking his cheek. He always managed to resolve things with little stress.

“Not a problem. Now, how about I get you a cocktail to wind down from a stressful day?” asked Sett. 

“A cocktail?” you questioned. You were not sure of any bars that were nearby. Not even the boardwalk had one from what you remembered of the layout. Sett and you weren’t staying in a hotel either so where would the two of you go? 

“Yup, I know just the perfect one.” He started guiding you away from the beach. As the two of you walked, you were still thinking. 

“Cocktails….cocktails...cocktails…” It was when you realized how dangerously low your boyfriend’s hand was on your waist that you realized what he was talking about. 

“Settrigh!”

Not that he lied about the cocktail helping you forget the stress of the day.

i love it when arcane fans don’t know anything about league of legends. so you guys don’t know about heimerdinger’s missile launcher? or his pool party skin? or that his nickname is “the donger”?

Veigar has a bubble wand also he would absolutely have a sand castle that is the most elaborate thing in the world also it’s an actual castle. Maybe I’ll do an actual splash art for him one day but for rn take this design of veigar at the beach who may or may not be trying to make it rain

Pool Party 2020 speculations:

Pool Party 2020 skins just got teased on League’s official Twitter and I have a couple speculations on who they might be! (other than the obvious on the far left, Taliyah, who was teased earlier this year). 

Far Right: Definitely Orianna. Not doubt in my mind. 

Some people on twitter are trying to say, “IT COULD BE CAMILLE” but think about Camille for a sec. EVERY OTHER SKIN SHE’S HAD ALWAYS KEEPS HER SCISSOR LEGS. THIS SKIN HAS FEETSIES & TOESIES! So yea, not Camille. 

Next person over: 

Definitely looks like a javelin or polearm next to them so my instant first guesses were: Jarvan or Xin Zhao. 

Next: 

Ah yes, the female in the middle. MANY, MANY people on twitter speculated that it was DEFINITELY going to be Syndra THIS TIME FOR SURE because: BALL. Thought it was weird that they’d only include one ball but it IS a teaser.  After watching the gif over and over, I noticed as this person kicks the sandal back over to the male character on their left, their ‘towel’ that they are laying on seems to be connected to their skirt. Syndra has trails connected to the back of her skirt so it might be her! 

Other people saw the ball and thought maybe it was Ahri (but no tails and I dont think Ahri has tattoos- but who knows?).  Others saw the tattoos on the legs and thought of: Jinx: (but Jinx recently got Heartseeker so I don’t think it’d be her) Karma: She does have the leg tattoos And with the ‘towel’ being connected to skirt/shorts- karma has a short skirt in the front, long in the back.  Karma also has one anklet.  ***BUT**** the skin is WAAAAAAY too light to be Karma. 

Neeko: Neeko DOES have tattoos and she does have an anklet (but she has them on both feet) BUUUUUUUUUUUT in all of Neeko’s other skins, her skin color is never “normal.” Like in Star Guardian, her feet & hands were green. 

Dont know why Riot would change this now but who knows? There’s no tail- but she is a chameleon and could be blending in? Also the flower on Taliyah’s board looks a lot like Neeko’s flower in her hair, but it might just be a tropical flower. Maybe Riot took the odyssey Ziggs approach and just threw her in the skinline without putting her in the cinematic/trailer lmao). 

Janna: (she did recently get guardian of the sands) the “towel” that the person is laying on, when they reach out to kick back the sandal it shows that it’s connected to their skirt/shorts. Janna is one of the only other female champs that their shorts/skirt have long trails on it. 

Next Person Over: 

It’s definitely someone small, so most likely a yordle. They seem to have sunglasses next to them that reminded me a lot of Heimerdinger’s and Corki’s goggles.

There’s also something in the water that (to me) looks like a little turret, like Donger’s turrets.  Other’s thought maybe it’s Corki’s plane or Rumble’s machine- but Rumble’s machine is HUGE- too huge to be that little thing. (To me, personally, it doesnt look like it has a good spot to sit or that it could be steered- so I dont think it’s Corki, but who knows?) 

Last Person: We already know it’s Taliyah from one of the League streams:

Hope this doesnt end up like the Cosmic skins lmao (rip Syndra/Lissandra/Elise. As pretty as Cosmic/Dark Cosmic Lux are, Syndra/Liss/Elise were robbed.)

i think those pool party skins are ori (for sure, also the whale floaty is probs gonna be The Ball), jarvan or xin (look at the umbrella, kinda like a staff either of them would use), syndra (because the volleyball and purple scheme), heimerdinger (the floaty duck looks like a turret) and def taliyah!

im pretty sure the purple ball shown could be orianna's ball, so these legs could belong to either vayne or jinx (cause of the tattoos/vibes they give) or perhaps ahri since we know shes gonna get a skin this year
