Zoe's Worst Skin: Pool Party Zoe just isn't fun enough for the character
The pool party skins are generally fairly boring to me, and Zoe’s is no exception. I’ll grant it has some pretty decent chromas, Zoe is always adorable, and visually the water effects work great with the spells she already has on her kit. Still Pool Party skins are ironically rather shallow and there’s really only so much you can do with “what if character, but in bathing suit."
Similarly there's only so much you can really say about them by way of critique; like I think she'd have been a natural fit for an inner tube, which she could throw out and use as her portal instead of the kiddy pools that currently appear - I think maybe she'd be more whimsical and funny wearing flippers instead of flip-flops. For a character who usually goes so hard on silliness and comedy, Pool Party Zoe feels if anything too restrained and classy.

Remember that one post when they asked you about Miraculous reaching Rwby levels of writing
You said and I quote “I guess if they continued to portray Adrien in the right even if he worked with Shadowmoth for some reason, or gave all the villains redemption arcs except Chloe, that may be enough for me to quit the show entirely.”
Now here we are, Gabriel has a statue, Felix is dating the girl he kidnapped after attempting genocide, Tomoe didn’t go to jail or the heroes ever found out about her working with Gabriel, Nathalie is in the pool party after murdering a presumed human being with the Thanos snap and Andre takes Zoe to leave Chloe with Audrey (this is somehow a good thing and Audrey is in the right despite her being to blame for Chloe’s personality has a whole)
The only villain left to be unredeemed or not going unpunished is Lila, so are you putting your trust on Lila or you’ll abandon ship before we can see how she’s dealt with?
Technically, Adrien never willingly worked with Gabriel, so there's that at least.
Granted, I'm not sure how I'll approach Season 6 yet.

Bloodlines Book 4 The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead
My book 4 Group Photo <3
Another photo that would never happen, but also I don't care. It's my Bloodlines Beach Episode Clarence's Secret Pool Episode
L to R:
Top: Marcus, Jackie Terwilliger, Malachai Wolfe, Adrian the Pool Boy (his final Form), & Neil
Mid: Zoe, Dorothy (feeders get to enjoy the hottub too), Clarence, Sydney, & Rowena
Front: Angeline, Trey, Jill & Eddie
Gang Excerpt from Book 4, chapter 1:
They piled in. There were five of them now, plus me, bringing us up to a lucky seven, had Sydney been there. When we'd first come to Palm Springs, there'd just been four. Jill, the reason we were all here. scooted in beside me and flashed me a grin.
...
Jill's three bodyguards climbed into the backseat. They were all dhampirs, a race born of mixed vampire and human heritage form the time our races had shared in free love. They were stronger and faster than the rest of us, making ideal warriors in the battle against Strigoi and royal assassins. Eddie Castile was the de facto leader of the group, a dependable rock who'd been with Jill from the beginning. Angeline Dawes, the red-haired spitfire, was slightly less dependable. And by "less dependable," I mean "not at all." She was a scrapper in a fight, though. The newest addition to the group was Neil Raymond, aka Tall, Proper, and Boring.
...
The last member of the party stood outside the car, refusing to get in. Zoe Sage, Sydney's sister.

Guess what, it's Zoe's birthday! Yes, everyone else's birthdays have passed, this was the only one we were missing.
Tumblr media
Allan prepared several cakes for her, since, after trying various flavors, neither of the two could decide which was better. If anything will abound in this celebration are cakes!
Tumblr media
Zoe made sure that no one at home forgot about her. Zoe: Hello, today is my birthday, you better get your presents ready! Allan kept quiet, of course he has Zoe's present already, he bought it just a few weeks ago, but he can't say anything yet, it will be a surprise.
Tumblr media
Many guests have arrived, including Supriya, Octavia, Candy, Fabian, Sergio, Nina, Naoki and even Mortimer. What a great party!
Tumblr media
The birthday girl is already on her second slice of cake, the diet has been called off for the day! But - What is Supriya doing, is she smoking? Zoe: Oh, no Sup, no smoking in this house.
Tumblr media
Supriya: Oh, come on, Z, it's just one cigarette. Zoe: Nope, we don't want Allan to relapse, plus there are minors present.
Tumblr media
Later on, that evening... Allan: Er, I thought you were asking about your gift earlier? Zoe: Yes, you bought me one? Allan: I bought you several, actually. But there's one in particular that I know you'll love. It happens to be the biggest. Zoe: Really? What is it?
Tumblr media
Allan: Remember the house we saw in Del Sol Valley that you fell in love with right away? Zoe: That huge house on the hill, with a big pool and a garden overlooking the city? Allan: The same one.
Tumblr media
Zoe: Oh, Al, did you…? Allan: Yes, I bought it for you. It's yours now. Happy birthday, my love!
Tumblr media
Allan: I wish you the happiest birthday. Zoe: Oh, thank you, honey. Allan: I love you. Zoe: And I love you, Al.

Book Recommendations: More Gothic Fiction
Mrs. March by Virginia Feito
George March’s latest novel is a smash. No one could be prouder than his dutiful wife, Mrs. March, who revels in his accolades. A careful creature of routine and decorum, she lives a precariously controlled existence on the Upper East Side until one morning, when the shopkeeper of her favorite patisserie suggests that her husband’s latest protagonist - a detestable character named Johanna - is based on Mrs. March herself. Clutching her ostrich leather pocketbook and mint-colored gloves, she flees the shop. What could have merited this humiliation?
That one casual remark robs Mrs. March of the belief that she knew everything about her husband - and herself - thus sending her on an increasingly paranoid journey that begins within the pages of a book. While snooping in George’s office, Mrs. March finds a newspaper clipping about a missing woman. Did George have anything to do with her disappearance? He’s been going on a lot of “hunting trips” up north with his editor lately, leaving Mrs. March all alone at night with her tormented thoughts, and the cockroaches that have suddenly started to appear, and strange breathing noises...
As she begins to decode her husband’s secrets, her deafening anxiety and fierce determination threaten everyone in her wake - including her stoic housekeeper, Martha, and her unobtrusive son, Jonathan, whom she loves so profoundly, when she remembers to love him at all.
The Drowning Kind by Jennifer McMahon
When social worker Jax receives nine missed calls from her older sister, Lexie, she assumes that it’s just another one of her sister’s episodes. Manic and increasingly out of touch with reality, Lexie has pushed Jax away for over a year. But the next day, Lexie is dead: drowned in the pool at their grandmother’s estate. When Jax arrives at the house to go through her sister’s things, she learns that Lexie was researching the history of their family and the property. And as she dives deeper into the research herself, she discovers that the land holds a far darker past than she could have ever imagined. In 1929, thirty-seven-year-old newlywed Ethel Monroe hopes desperately for a baby. In an effort to distract her, her husband whisks her away on a trip to Vermont, where a natural spring is showcased by the newest and most modern hotel in the Northeast. Once there, Ethel learns that the water is rumored to grant wishes, never suspecting that the spring takes in equal measure to what it gives.
Wild and Wicked Things by Francesca May
On Crow Island, people whisper, real magic lurks just below the surface. Neither real magic nor faux magic interests Annie Mason. Not after it stole her future. She’s only on the island to settle her late father’s estate and, hopefully, reconnect with her long-absent best friend, Beatrice, who fled their dreary lives for a more glamorous one. Yet Crow Island is brimming with temptation, and the biggest one may be her enigmatic new neighbor. Mysterious and alluring, Emmeline Delacroix is a figure shadowed by rumors of witchcraft. And when Annie witnesses a confrontation between Bea and Emmeline at one of the island's extravagant parties, she is drawn into a glittering, haunted world. A world where the boundaries of wickedness are tested, and the cost of illicit magic might be death.
The Maidens by Alex Michaelides
Edward Fosca is a murderer. Of this Mariana is certain. But Fosca is untouchable. A handsome and charismatic Greek Tragedy professor at Cambridge University, Fosca is adored by staff and students alike - particularly by the members of a secret society of female students known as The Maidens. Mariana Andros is a brilliant but troubled group therapist who becomes fixated on The Maidens when one member, a friend of Mariana’s niece Zoe, is found murdered in Cambridge. Mariana, who was once herself a student at the university, quickly suspects that behind the idyllic beauty of the spires and turrets, and beneath the ancient traditions, lies something sinister. And she becomes convinced that, despite his alibi, Edward Fosca is guilty of the murder. But why would the professor target one of his students? And why does he keep returning to the rites of Persephone, the maiden, and her journey to the underworld? When another body is found, Mariana’s obsession with proving Fosca’s guilt spirals out of control, threatening to destroy her credibility as well as her closest relationships. But Mariana is determined to stop this killer, even if it costs her everything - including her own life.

I think you misinterpreted what I said earlier. At the end of the summer there is a pool party at Agreste manner, and in the script all of the heroes are present except for Zoe. I think that means that Emilie is not happy about what Andre did, and made it clear that Zoe was not invited.
Ah. Yeah she seems like the type to pettily uninvite someone. But
1.) if Emilie is going to be the 'perfect angel of a woman' then she needs to learn how much has changed while she was out
and
2.) Emilie was fine with Adrien being friends with Chloé and having connections with Audrey in the first place, so she might be down for bitchiness.
Also. The manor has a pool?

Alix and Ondine & Marinette and Girl Squad (Alya, Mylene, Juleka, Rose, Kagami, Fei, Zoe, Socqueline)(Aurore and Mireille) - A Swimming Pool Party
If it had been anyone other than Adrien telling them that his father's company had given him the okay to let them use the pool for the rest of the day after the sunrise photo shoot, they may have been suspicious.
Apparently Adrien knows how to give his friends great presents, cause Ondine was so happy for the surprise pool party, especially when Marinette gave her a new swimsuit as well.

Hey there~
May I have headcannons for the characters (From Oz to Noodles) went for a holiday at a hotel resort?
So, we're gonna have the WINTER version of this later on with the Great Snowball War... let's do the summer version. B) Amira - Tries paragliding. Loves it until the tether snaps and sends her sailing off in a random direction. Lands on top of a Circle K, uninjured but needing a ride back to the hotel. Oz - Spends a good portion of his time building sandcastles on the beach and staring at the little things in the tidepool. Brian - Works on his "tan", despite being unable to tan anymore. Attracts far more attention than he expected. Vicky - Gets a significant portion of her friend group WAY TOO HYPED for a game of beach volleyball. Nearly wins, until... Damien - Spikes the ball RIGHT into Vicky's face. Declares himself the winner. Not his team, just him. Miranda - Has the ROYAL PARTY BARGE float close enough that the group can get out to it, spends the whole time playing host and feasting, barely goes to the 'inferior' land-hotel... until she gets word that makeouts are happening poolside. Liam - Stays inside in a bathrobe all day, lounges by the pool talking about bands you've never heard of all night, genuinely has a phenomenal time by his standards. Polly - Gets into a one-sided rivalry with the hotel bartender, trying to give them drinks that they've never heard of to mix. Doesn't realize that when she gives them a real esoteric one that she isn't sure is real, they just make something up. Also makes friends with a crab she calls Linda. Scott - VOLLEYBALL! SWIMMING! FETCH! SWIMMING! LIFE IS SO AWESOME GUYS! SO! AWESOME! Also has to wear sandals all day so he doesn't burn his sensitive feets on the hot sand. Vera - Tries and fails to buy the hotel. Has to be talked into taking time off to just enjoy herself. It is a GROUP EFFORT. Calculester - Somehow ends up running his food truck even though he's there to relax. Discovers that there is not a coastal area out there that can't do with another taco truck. Serves as the Juan/Noodles of this "game". Zoe - Cute swimsuit, places to float, people to see. Spends a lot of time over on Miri's PARTY BARGE. Aaravi and Hex - Drove the food truck out there. Got a problem with that? Val - See Vera's entry. Spends too much time getting her sister to finally unwind. Also gets banned from the beach on the last day when they discover she's been using it as her personal litter box. Milo - Spends the whole time trying to get THE PERFECT BEACH SELFIE. None of their attempts meet their lofty goals. Dahlia - Gets entirely too into the volleyball match, and starts a SAND WAR with Damien after he declares himself winner. Which is exactly what you think it is. Both of them spend hours washing sand out of their eyes (and everyplace else). The Coven - Hope sets up a tent to do her palm readings. It goes badly, but she still enjoys it (despite what she says). Faith spends much of her time either relaxing on the PARTY BARGE or hooking up with Polly. And Joy ends up getting pulled into a storyline... with Polly's little crab friend. And a Crab War. Which is really underwhelming, even by Crab standards. Sawyer - Spends way too much time snorkeling, but it's QUIET down there, and peaceful, and floaty, and just so nice... Glitch: Steals every towel in the hotel. Somehow. Every single one. Hazel: Cozies up beachside with a Margarita and a good novel and plows through the whole thing. Juan: Is Miri's bartender. Thoroughly enjoys himself, and mixes both the best and worst drinks you'll have that week. Don't try the Wailing Lagomorph. Just don't. Noodles: Summons a ghost kraken who everyone else has to work together to banish on the last day. His only explanation is that the concierge was "snooty" to him.

One morning, Michelle decides for an early morning swim, but enjoys floating around so much that she is nearly late for work. As she lays about dreaming of past promotions in the pool, she suddenly realises that she has to get to work. When she gets home she finds Michael paging through some photo albums featuring him as a toddler. They have a good time paging through it together.
The next day, it is time to organise Milan's birthday 🎂🎁🎉🥳. He ages up into a child. The guests have a great time as usual. Especially Mason Thornton and Zoe... The conversation originally started with Mason saying how happy he was that Zoe was healthy again, but soon moved to another direction.
"So Zoe, I was thinking about what you said some time ago about never letting someone near you again." Mason said as he lounged on the garden bench next to Zoe. " What about it?" Zoe asked, eyeing him suspiciously. " Well, we have become friends again. Good friends, I would say. We make a really great team with the kids and I wanted to ask if I could take you on a date at some point. Would you consider it?" Mason asked, taking Zoe's hand in his. "I would actually like that, thank you." Zoe answered, giving his fingers a squeeze. "Would you like to go somewhere we can talk to eachother alone, away from the noisy kids and other guests?" Mason asked her softly. " I think that is a good idea." Zoe replied. They made their way to a bedroom in the house, Mitch locked the door and turned to Zoe, " listen, I am just doing that so we can talk uninterrupted not for other reasons, ok" Zoe laughed, " yes I have to say that looked a bit suspicious". They spoke to eachother and was able to sort through the events that ended their marriage before. Mason took the plunge, " Zoe, I need to get this off my chest". He faced her as they sat crossed legged on the bed. "I regretted leaving you, while I was leaving you." "I wanted to change course immediately but I didn't know how. Before I knew it, Jill was expecting Macey and it felt like I was trapped and couldn't. I had some feelings for her, but if that one flirt didn't take place and set things in motion, I would have never given her much thought." Zoe could see Mason was extremely emotional and she knew him well enough to know he was being sincere. She lifted his chin towards her and kissed him passionately. Their love for eachother washed over them in waves and they didn't want to fight it any longer. They left the party that night with the understanding that they would get engaged and remarried as soon as they could.

Jinx deserves a really colorful water/beach skin I’m always disappointed with champs like Zoe for pool party because I know so many ways that the fun could be pumped up on those cartoony characters
Tropical fish are so pretty man, maybe I’ll do a full illustration for this jinx

The Game: Chapter 15
<-- Previous Chapter || Next Chapter -->
Naomi's P.O.V
It was day five of credited summer camp and Naomi was already running out of places to explore in the hotel. She’d already broken into one of the conference rooms just to see what they looked like. It was as expected, a big carpeted room with a large wooden table in the middle, chairs surrounding it for meetings. Not much but usually not used either, which could have its benefits…
What she was really looking for were good places to fuck in. She knew the hotel rooms would become boring after a while, and she knew she wasn’t the only one who would think so. She wondered if anyone had tried fucking in other places yet or if she would be to first to try.
Deciding that she had seen enough of the west wing, Naomi started walking back to the lobby. The hallway was empty since most of the guests spent the day outside enjoying the sun. It made the area strangely quiet and Naomi sped up her pace, wanting to get to the much busier lobby.
When she arrived, she looked around for a hallway she hadn’t been down yet. While she was looking she noticed a few groups of people checking in. One in particular caught her eye. It was a group of three young looking girls, probably around Naomi’s age.
They were all wearing flamboyant pink clothing, two of them had dyed blonde hair, one cut short and the other long, and the third girl had long, curly black hair. The girl with black hair wore a tiara and the girl with short hair had a Hello Kitty backpack. Valley girl types, Naomi loved it.
The blonde girl with the longer hair was talking to the front desk clerk while the other two texted on their phones, their long nails loudly tapping the screens. Naomi absolutely had to talk to them, they were the prettiest people in the room by a long shot. So after fixing her hair, Naomi casually strolled over to the group.
“Hey, I just wanted to say I love your bag,” Naomi said, pointing to the Hello Kitty backpack. The blonde looked up from her phone and smiled.
“Thanks! It’s limited edition, they only sold like fifty of them,” she said.
“Impressive,” Naomi replied. “Did you ladies just get here?”
“Just flew in from Tampa,” said the black-haired girl.
Naomi raised an eyebrow. “What are Tampa girls doing in SoCal?” she inquired.
The blonde responded. “Katrina here has never been.” She gestured to the girl with the black hair and tiara. “She wanted to see what it was like, so we took a little vacay.”
“Are you staying here too?” Katrina asked. She put her phone away in her purse, the diamond charms clinking together as she did.
Naomi nodded in response, eyeing the valley girls up and down.
“Do you know if there are any parties happening around here? We want to mingle,” Katrina continued. That gave Naomi an idea.
“Actually, my friend Zoe is throwing a party tomorrow night,” she said. “I’m sure she would love it if you girls came.”
The blonde gasped in excitement. “Oh my gosh that sounds totally fun!”
The girls introduced themselves and exchanged phone numbers with Naomi. The blonde with short hair was named Tessa, the taller blonde with long hair was named Christy, and, as Tessa said, the girl wearing the tiara was named Katrina.
The front desk clerk handed Christy three room keys and the girls left to go find their rooms. Waiting until they were out of sight, Naomi immediately texted Zoe telling her to meet her by the pool door. Zoe responded right away and Naomi rushed off to meet her.
Zoe was already waiting for her by the time she got there, leaning against the wall by the doors. Naomi smiled when she saw her, taking a quick moment to admire the way her ass looked in her tight short-shorts.
“What’s up?” Zoe asked as she approached.
“Clear your schedule tomorrow night because we are throwing a party,” Naomi announced.
“That’s a great idea!” Zoe replied. “I’ll start making an invite list.” The blonde pulled out her phone and Naomi saw her open the notes app.
“I already have three names for you. Christy, Katrina, and Tessa,” Naomi told her.
Zoe gave her a quizzical look. “Who are they?”
“Three lovely ladies I just met in the lobby,” Naomi explained. Zoe still seemed confused so Naomi gave more detail. “Valley girls, from Tampa or something. Rich for sure, judging by their clothing. Two are bottle blondes and one girl has the biggest fake tits I’ve ever seen.”
The shorter girl’s face lit up with mischief. She eagerly typed the names into her phone and giggled.
“They sound like a fun time. Do you think they like girls?” she asked.
“They will after we’re done with them,” Naomi replied, giving Zoe a quick pinch on the arm. The blonde jumped and giggled some more, almost maniacally. Naomi gave her a conniving smile. Zoe was such a doll, always going along with her plans and schemes. Tomorrow night was going to be great.
