Ok, reviews aren't good (how fuckin' horrendous must it be to be sitting in the premiere for 2 hours while the reviews break?), BUT they're not terrible. They're just "meh this could have been better it's style over substance". And Harry on the whole comes out of them well. I've only read one negative review of his performance so far (BBC).
Variety says "Jack, played by Styles with a wholesome cunning that marks him as a natural screen actor" and "What is convincing is how easily Styles sheds his pop-star flamboyance, even as he retains his British accent and takes over one party scene by dancing as if he were in a ’40s musical. There’s actually something quite old-fashioned about Styles. With his popping eyes, floppy shock of hair, and saturnine suaveness, he recalls the young Frank Sinatra as an actor. It’s too early to tell where he’s going in movies, but if he wants to he could have a real run in them"

The next day Edith held a small funeral service in the parlor of the Coombes home. Charles wasn't ecstatic about having to pay for the funeral and having to temporarily take in a child who wasn't his own.
Edith persisted however since Vivian was her best friend! Vivan helped delivered both of her children, and she was one of the first people to introduce her to the community in Henford. Vivian deserved a decent service for Olivia and her friends to say goodbye.
Tumblr media
After the service, Edith led Olivia upstairs and showed her where she'd be sleeping until Charles decided where to send her.
Tumblr media
" You'll be sleeping up here with Josephine, I'm sure you girls will get along just fine. "
Tumblr media
" I loved your grandmother very much Olivia and I want you to know, we're going to make sure to find a nice place for you. Try not to worry too much, and get a good night's rest. "
Tumblr media
Olivia was quiet aside from the occasional yes ma'am, no ma'am, please, and thank you's.
Truth is Olivia barely knew Edith, most of the time she interacted with Edith is when they met at church.
Olivia was scared despite the reassurance.
Tumblr media
Edith's heart broke once she left the room and heard Olivia's muffled sobs.
Tumblr media
In Edith's mind, she knew it wouldn't be proper to raise a child that wasn't hers. Oh god, she can hear the gossip in her head now!
That wouldn't be good for Daniels's reputation... In her heart, however, she didn't know if she'd have the guts to send her best friend's daughter away.

Your answer just made me think about the potential angst if 47 had met Olivia as a child or teenger. Lucas' loyalty would be divided. What would he do if an action was beneficial to one but harmful to the other? The drama (in theory as it didn't happen but the potential is there).
But now as they are, they harmonize. If not their methods, their goals align.
'Lucas yelled at someone who was rude to the barista for almost 4 minutes straight. Has he ever worked a customer service job?'
'He had tons of mormal jobs, but no one lasted.'
'Does that mean he's going to do this all the time?'
'Unfortunately yes. You should have seen him going off at a mom at my school's pta. We had to move after that'
Lucas, the anti-karen.
Oh that's good!! I mean, the scenario of Lucas being torn between saving one and possibly hurting the other could still happen. Maybe saving Olivia would mean giving away 47's Safehouse location or something else (his "identity" etc.).
I wonder what Lucas would do in such a dilemma. Because in the institute, I'm almost certain they taught them to do whatever is necessary to accomplish the mission. Even if that means someone (e.g. a 'brother') gets hurt or might die. Mission first, no emotional attachments.
But this would be different as Lucas is no longer in that mindset 'mission first'.
Lucas as the anti-karen would be so amazing. I can see him as this righteous guy that can't shut up whenever he sees someone being an arsehole.
I so giggled when I read 'We had to move after that' because YES that's the energy I want daddy Lucas to have! Going full mercenary mode when it gets personal, even if the situation is anything but threatening.
"You throwing shade at ma little princess?! Watch me burn your house down and after that your ugly Porsche, I will so destroy your life and that of your loved ones, you don't want me as an enemy!"
(in the most British accent ever)

With all the “accidents” that the show-runners have invented in favor of the Greens, I think it would be pretty fair to have them done for the Blacks too.
Like for example, Daemon is angry about how much Rhaenyra suffers after the loss of Lucerys. He vents about it to his former confidant, Mysaria, who “misunderstands” Daemon’s intentions and arranges B&C. And then, when Daemon finds out, he goes 😱, then expresses how much he didn’t want this, oh no!
But of course, since only the Greens can have three “accidental” murders done in cold blood, there isn’t much room for bad fanfic writing in the Blacks’ favor, so they’ll have to go with canon.
I am betting Condal will forget about Daemon and have Rhaenyra herself arrange B&C with Mysaria, because of course, a grieving mother has nothing better to do than start discussions about vengeance with none other than her husband’s former mistress. Makes perfect sense.
And above all, I am 100% sure that the showrunners will abandon the idea that Aegon throws a feast in celebration of Lucerys’ death, so that he can retain the title of “victim daddy” who lost a child he didn’t give a damn about while he was alive.
And of course, him calling out for war in retribution for his son’s death is perfectly alright, as opposed to Rhaenyra’s desire to get justice for the murder of her own child, because Rhaenyra is a woman. She is not allowed to do anything that makes her seem less than perfect.

I know you are one of those who refuse to believe H’s new-not that new tattoo has anything to do with that woman because it’s just ridiculous - for me it’s the same as how everyone related Cinema to her because it’s just 1st thing what come to everyone’s mind. And then we slowly we found out it’s indeed about….gay sex 😂. After finding out H’s finsta is following that hotel in Civita and they have cat named Colazione and dog named…Olivia. It still feels but odd to me that he would randomly tattoo names of dog and cat (or 2 cats if we mention Gemma’s cat) but he’s Harry and his sense of humour is still unknown for us.
Plus, add in that he follows that hotel from his finsta… I’m honestly howling.

like Bughawk is so great because everyone is fighting over mishanks or shuggy and boom. Korrasami moment. Didn’t expect that huh?
BUT
I think we don’t talk enough how Oda specifically pointed out that both mihawk and crocodile are similar, both suffered betrayal and are distrusting. I like cross guild but there’s something so beautiful about two extremely distrusting similar man finally finding comfort and trust in one another. I need them to bond over this. In a way all of cross guild members got betrayed. they got hurt and now have therapy group, it’s beautiful.
ALRIGHT buggy is half betrayed, his “backstabber” is still happy to see him lmao. Which is hilarious if something truly awful happened to the rest
Buggy: wow, we are actually have similar experiences
Mihawk and Crocodile: we love you, but not really.
Okay, but this is actually SO funny because I imagine Mihawk and Crocodile being super tragic about their experiences and Buggy being all dramatic about his and going "wow we have ALL suffered so much WE are in so much pain" and you have his boyfriends looking at him with deadpanned faces like "dear, I don't know how to tell you this, but breaking up with your childhood best friend is not as traumatic as you think" and Buggy actually gasps in the loudest of ways because how could he say that??????????? He has daddy issues and had a rough break up with his BFF, nobody suffers more than adult men going through teenage girl issues

Logan Sargeant does not deserve what happened today and this is my rant about it.
Firstly, and this is extremely obvious but Logan didn’t crash the car. Alex did. Logan didn’t make the mistake. Alex did. If you crash the car to the point they can’t repair it, it is your responsibility to suffer whatever consequences which come of that.
Now Williams are the only team to do something like this in recent years (to my knowledge) on the off chance they score points? Alex has not scored points this season yet and that is not due to the talent it is due to the car, so it doesn’t matter who drives it at this point in the season the car is just not up to scratch.
I am also a firm believer that if Logan didn’t have that steering issue in Bahrain he would have at least scored a point, so it is not due to a lack of talent on Logan’s part it is due to a lack of faith from Williams.
Another thing to note that jumped into my head is Qatar 2023. Carlos Sainz had an issue with the fuel tank. Despite Carlos being a recent race winner Ferrari did not tell him to jump into Charles’ car did they? Because other teams know that if it is an issue with one driver’s car then it is not the responsibility of the other driver to bear the brunt of the aftermath.
This is not just Logan paying for Alex’s mistake this is Logan paying for the entirety of Williams’ lack of preparation. It is their fault they don’t have a third chassis, it is not Logan’s job to be stood there with a checklist in the manufacturing or transport stage to ensure they are prepared. Why should he suffer?
This also shows a massive lack of trust in Logan from the entirety of Williams, especially James Vowels. Why would you resign a driver, claim that you believe in him when you are going to give him the obvious second driver treatment? This could have been a great opportunity for Logan to build up confidence but instead Williams broke him down inside out.
They can preach all they want about giving Logan another chance. This is a sport. Words mean nothing. Unless you practice what you preach it is honestly worthless. It’s a fat load of good saying you believe in a person if when push comes to shove you decide to kick them out of their own car.
Also, I don’t think Alex could have said no to taking Logan’s car. Maybe he could have protested, and he should have, but it was team orders at the end of the day. But, if he could have said “no this is wrong, it is my mistake I should pay for it” then he definitely should have and if he didn’t then that’s on him.
Ultimately, Logan didn’t deserve any of this and this says more about Williams than it does about Logan. I personally hope he scores points at Suzuka just to stick it to the team.
