I don’t think rui would write a show with romance and cast tsukasa as the lead/himself as the love interest on purpose I think he believes in the separation of work and personal life a little too much for that. but I do think he would do it unconsciously & write characters that are pretty clearly based off of him and Tsukasa and 1) not realize this at all 2) not cast himself as the love interest. He’s like I don’t know why but this play just came really easily to me :) & tsukasa’s in the background tearing out his hair like What Does He Mean With This.

Rui: and I believe emu-kun should be cast as the love interest

Emu: (looks at tsukasa) (looks at rui) nuh-uh I think YOU should do it rui-kun :)

Tsukasa: (behind rui frantically signaling for her to cut it out) it’s a big role, and he needs to focus on directing! Right, rui?

Emu: (ignoring him) nenechan and I can help!! Pretty please? I think rui-kun will be super duper Kira Kira extra wonderhoy in this role!

Rui: hm… this show won’t be too technical, so it’s a good time to train you both on behind the scenes work… I suppose that could work, if that’s what you really want. are you both sure that’s alright?

Emu: yup yup I’m ready to learn!!

Nene: I don’t mind. I’m just happy I don’t have to be the love interest for him… (makes a face)

back at it again with more triforce headcanons, but yeah i have interpreted what piece of the triforce you get as more representative of what you want rather than what you are, and sometimes that means you think you lack that aspect. and this makes a lot of sense in the context of OoT, if you think about it!

zelda just lost her family and is fleeing her home, and judging from later in the game, I really do think she blames herself for it. she thinks she's made bad decisions and thinking of herself as a future ruler, she wants wisdom so she doesn't make those mistakes again.

link is in some form of stasis when the triforce shatters, iirc, but he's probably been overwhelmed with so much new information and new people and tried to help as much as he can before seeing it all suddenly crash and burn. he needs to be braver, to protect the world he's just been exposed to and is now being hurt because the courage he had clearly wasn't enough.

and ganondorf? i know he's very power-hungry, that's made very obvious in the text, but if we're following the same pattern here, he also feels powerless. there's definitely analyses of this that go deeper into this, but the gerudo certainly aren't respected by hyrule at large, yet because hyrule has more land, power, and supposedly the favor of the gods, ganondorf bows to its king. yes, he has strong magic and is also a king, but being surrounded by people that are so powerful he must bow to them? it could make someone feel powerless, comparatively.

my point is that not only is the triforce more about wanting something rather than having something, but also that each piece doesn't hold any particular moral value. wanting power isn't necessarily evil, and wanting force of will ("courage") isn't necessarily good. it's very relative!

extremely long pearl appreciation post except this time i'm maintagging bc i want her to see this. she deserves to see this

she is the kindest soul ever. every bit message, every sub message, every gifted sub, and as many chat messages as possible are read. she genuinely doesn't want anyone to be left out

pearl had a rough start to stream today with a bunch of bots saying really weird things and someone revealing private information of hers which is weird. i have choice words for them but i'll keep myself pg for this post

it resulted in her having to turn on sub only mode which she said upset her. what did chat do?

they gifted probably around 200-500 subs to the community

pearl kept saying how bad she felt that she was practically forced into turning on sub only mode but she also said she didn't want her community gifting so many subs bc of an awful situation. they still did

i will always say that pearl is the nicest person ever. anytime smth bad happens to someone in chat, she's sympathetic and kind and gives them a message. anytime smth good happens to someone in chat, she's very excited and happy for them

it takes someone who is genuinely kind and selfless to do that. pearl does not have to read every bit message and sub message. but she does

her community reflects this kindness. i got broken up with two hours before valentine's day and told chat [bc streams for me are 6am-10am]. chat was so kind and gave me ideas on what to do with the flowers [which i did what they suggested!]

i've been in fandom communities for almost ten years now. pearl's is the kindest. there are so many people in chat i recognize [secret agent, sapphicwhimsy, kawaiitron, voxkeys, cardmoney, etc] that i look forward to seeing in chat. usually i dread seeing what happens in twitch chat's

not hers. hers are so full of kindness bc she is full of kindness and it just radiates and spreads to her community. yes it's fairly no nonsense, her deleting any weird messages, but that's to make sure it's a good place to be

i've been having nightmares and flashbacks recently due to reasons i wish to keep private. very few youtubers/streamers are able to help me sleep without those issues. pearl is one of them. her community is genuinely safe

i tell everyone interested in mcyt to watch pearl. i've been spreading pearl propaganda [/silly]. she deserves so much more than she has. pearl deserves the world
