Eddie leans across the countertop of Family Video and kicks up his feet, grinning at his boyfriend despite the grumpy, pouty-boy frown creasing Steve’s brow.

“Come on, Stevie,” he insists, “What’s got your jeans in a such a twist?”

He rests his chin on his hands and tilts his head to the side, all innocent but nonetheless expectant. Steve has been sulking all week and Eddie is certain it has something to do with the fact that his folks have been home for an entire month now.

It has been tough on him too – what with their Private Boyfriend Time being cut down to whenever Wayne isn’t home. Which, considering his roaster right now, isn’t a whole lot of time for much of anything.

Plus, the novelty of boning in Steve’s car wore off about halfway through the first time. As it turns out, the back cab of the Beemer isn’t exactly all that spacious – nor is it conducive to avoiding a leg cramp so severe that Eddie almost got kicked straight in the head by his lover.

Eddie hums, thinking back to just what he was doing before the near-collision.

Steve stands upright to reach into the breast pocket of his tight navy-blue polo – one with four whole buttons the tease keeps undone in order to expose maximum chest hair. He produces a flimsy and tattered scrap of paper that looks to have been cut out of a magazine.

Steve sucks in a breath, unfurls the paper and hands it over.

“A hot tub?”

Eddie gawks at the advertisement in Steve’s hand and his boyfriend groans at his excitement.

“Yeah,” Steve sighs, collapsing forward against the counter and Eddie’s heart flutters at their regained proximity, “My parents had it delivered a few days ago.”

Eddie delicately lays out the advertisement on the sliver of counter space between them and runs his finger over the picture, circling the rounded edges of the featured hot tub. He then moves to trace the hairline of the male model in the picture, a Fabio-looking dude who is having the time of his life sipping on a cocktail, accompanied by a pretty blonde toasting to his rugged masculinity.

“And this is bad, how?” he asks, looking up to find his boyfriend looking more than a little grumpy.

“Well, for one thing I have to make it down to the Post Office before closing to pick up some pump plug thing,” Steve grouses, all pouty with that bitchy lilt he gets (and that Eddie loves).

“Pump plug…” Eddie murmurs, transfixed as his greedy gaze makes its way down the long, tanned column of Steve’s neck…

To his chest, which is a lot more appealing than that of Jacuzzi Fabio Guy.

“Yeah, and guess who has to figure out how to get the stupid thing up and running by the time they get back?”

Eddie snaps to attention and smiles as sweet and innocent as he can muster.

“When do they get back?”

Steve looks at his watch, “They left about an hour ago and come back Monday night.”

Eddie leans over a little more – at least as much as he can before the counter begins to cut into his stomach.

“Stevie,” he coos, wiggling his brows, “My darling boyfriend.”

He abandons his fingering of the advertisement to reach for a lock of hair to twirl. Eddie giggles, dipping his chin as he bats his dark lashes.

“What?” Steve purses his lips before it all sinks in, “ – Wait. Oh, no!”

Call him selfish, but Eddie gives Steve no choice when it comes to the matter of getting the new Harrington Family Jacuzzi up and running. First, he mans Family Video so Steve can head to the Post Office for his pump plug-thing – an item he cannot bring himself to think about without chuckling a little, ‘tee-hee’. Then, when Steve returns with a box that contains said pump plug, Eddie helps his boyfriend read through the instructions before he heads on over to Melvad’s for some supplies.

It is going to be perfect.

Warm and bubbly.

Sensuous.

Private.

Eddie later finds himself buzzing out of his skin, rocking on his heels from his position right behind Steve as his boyfriend fires the bad boy up, pump plug plugged, and all.

“Great,” Eddie says, flapping the instruction manual in his hand, “Now we just have to wait for it to warm up.”

Steve huffs as he stands up and wipes at his sweaty brow – a sign of a manly job well done. He insists on washing up, so Eddie changes into his black boardshorts and sets about making them cocktails.

And yeah, he might have taken the advertisement out of the wastebasket in Steve’s bedroom while his boyfriend was showering in order to replicate Fabio Jacuzzi Guy’s alcoholic beverages. Sue him for wanting a romantic, catalogue-inspired evening – Pina Coladas included.

Eddie is all set up and ready to go as he lingers by the new outdoor accessory, waiting on bated breath for Steve to finally make his way out onto the back patio. The Hot tub is bubbling away like a hot spring, the inviting, steamy warmth every bit the picture painted in the advertisement Steve so thoroughly poo-poohed all afternoon.

But when Steve drops his towel, Eddie’s face drops.

“Why aren’t you wearing that tantalising little red speedo of yours?”

“Eddie, it’s freezing out here,” Steve argues, shivering as he looks out over the backyard.

Eddie grumbles and turns to the hot tub. He licks his lips, deciding what would be the most logical way of stepping up into the warm waters as he balances the two fruity cocktails in his hands.

“It’s what the bubbles are for, sweetheart,” he says, swinging his leg over the rounded boarder of the tub.

And in a second Steve is by his side, looping an arm around his waist to guide him. Eddie grins and pushes one of the cocktails into Steve’s hand.

“Oh, Pina Colada,” Steve beams.

They settle onto opposite sides of the hot tub – optimal positioning, if Eddie does say so himself! It allows him to get a good, greedy look at Steve, who is now preoccupied with trying to get his plush, pink lips around his straw without poking himself in the eye with the little yellow umbrella sticking out the top of his drink.

Eddie puffs out his chest and takes a sip of his own drink.

“Wait, is that my b-boombox?” Steve says mid-gulp, looking over Eddie’s shoulder.

Eddie nods with enthusiasm.

“Thought it could be romantic,” he coos.

He sets his drink on a coaster near the boombox and carefully makes his way to his boyfriend. He wades through the warm water, stepping carefully – his body tingling as the tub’s jet streams rush hot water against him. It lights a fire in his belly and leaves him looking Steve up and down like he is something he could just eat right up.

Because the thing is, in this heat – with Steve’s perpetually warm body – the whole atmosphere is giving his beautiful skin a delicate sheen that is both arousing and oh-so-shiny. Like Steve is some precious thing made of gold. A God, even.

Eddie settles in close, his cheeks burning up as his arm touches Steve’s, sending a bolt of electricity through his body. Down his body.

“Steve,” he breathes, leaning into his partner’s neck.

“Eddie, this isn’t a porno,” Steve deadpans.

“You sure about that?” Eddie teases, reaching down to cup Steve through his boardshorts and rub.

It gives his boyfriend a jolt and Steve chokes out this stifled little whimper and all Eddie can do is chuckle into the bare skin of his shoulder. He bites him for good measure, earning a hiss. But Steve melts at the touch, sinking down a little in his seat.

“Eddie,” he whispers, screwing his eyes shut – damn his willpower, “You cannot jerk me off in my parent’s Jacuzzi.”

“Oh,” Eddie grins, pretending he is utterly scandalised by such a suggestion, “Who said it was going to be a mere handjob?”

Steve reaches down and wraps his meaty paw around Eddie’s wrist. He brings it up to the surface and interlaces their fingers.

“That so?”

Eddie narrows his eyes.

“Smooth operator.”

“Dork,” Steve leans forward and presses a kiss to his cheek, “Wanna go upstairs?”

“After we finish our beverages.”

Eddie pushes himself off from their side of the hot tub and accidentally propels himself a little too hard to the other side. He reaches out a flailing limb to catch something in a desperate search for purchase.

But his hand knocks over his Pina Colada, spilling it directly into the hot tub. He grapples for the edge of the tub and momentarily dunks his entire goddamn head beneath the surface.

“O-ops,” he splutters when he comes up for air, spitting bubbly, hot water from his mouth.

He shakes drenched hair from his face, only to be met with Steve’s frown.

tbh i’m 70% an elriel, 30% an elucien. i enjoy lucien a lot more as a character than i do azriel, but im an elain girl above anything and i typically stay in the elriel tags bc the elucien ones are often filled with gwynriels being pretty anti-elain (which is why im in an elriel mindset).

all im trying to say is that it feels like such a breath of fresh air to see accounts like yours that show that they too are here for elain and it’s been such a shame that this ship war has clouded this so much, where people feel that they have to be an elriel to go against elucien and vice versa. and just spit balling of this, but it’s bonkers that there is an expectation that eluciens would root for a gwynriel book and that gwynriels are getting mad that eluciens are stating this. literally why?? shipping elain and lucien doesn’t mean you ship (or care) about gwynriel

anyways, i just want to say thank you for trying to knock some sense into this fandom

We (Eluciens) are most definitely here also loving, defending, and pumped for Elain! I can guarantee you that. We may not always be as loud as some other voices in the fandom, but we are here. I completely understand your frustration with the elucien tag, because at times I have also run into those same frustrations and wish people would be more considerate of others when selecting their tags. I’ve posted my feelings on tag etiquette before. But I have made a lot of Elucien friends who are big Elain fans as well so you can know you are not alone. I wouldn’t be posting content, metas, and writing 360k words of fanfiction that all revolve around Elain if it weren’t for that community.

I appreciate you coming into my inbox in a nice way. Shipping is an inherently passionate affair we have all stumbled upon. It comes from a place of well…obsession. So expecting others to fall into line and be forcibly happy for not getting their hopeful outcome is borderline ridiculous but also really callous. The number of times I have seen folks declare Azriel’s book is “definitely happening” next since HOFAS came out while diminishing Eluciens who believe Elain is next (straight up have called us delusional)���nobody ever called them out for creating discord and nobody certainly asked them to settle down and be happy whoever is next. So it’s VERY telling that sentiment is happening now when more and more pro Elain opinions are circulating.

I hope we can all learn that fandom IS big enough for all of us to exist with our differing ideas/opinions/likes/dislikes - and if you see a take you don’t like, nobody is attacking you. You can simply scroll on and let them live. Or you can engage in civil discourse without blaming the other side for starting a rift. That is perfectly normal fandom behavior. We all deserve that kind of freedom. If we have to start monitoring/censoring our passionate obsessions in order to please or appease others for the sake of a “ship war”…it completely defeats the purpose of fandom which is community.

I swear I didn't know they were yours, I just thought they were fan made lists. But now all of them are missing so I'm guessing you privated them when you posted the mumbo playlist thingy out of caution. Either that or it's a coincident.

EEP Yeah no worries!! I honestly haven’t privated any of the in-progress dbhc playlists (or if I did, it was a long time/several months ago), they’re just all on a personal account so I haven’t put links to them anywhere yet. I made a more ‘professional’ account (under ‘Shepscapades’) so that I can put the finished playlists there and so they can be public/so I can share the links when I’m ready, but I’m fairly certain the only playlists on that account are the finished DBHC Etho one and the Souls in the Sand playlist.

All of the in-progress playlists will stay on my personal account, and I think the only folks who know about them/have links are folks from my stream discord, or anyone who’s made a lucky search. I would prefer that people not to go looking for the ones on my personal account, since I don’t want to have to private all of my unrelated personal playlists, and also because I’m planning on putting WIP versions of every DBHC character playlist on the more official Shepscapades account for when the Etho playlist gets posted, that way y’all can poke at all of the songs without them being linked to my personal account. Hopefully I’ll find a good rhythm to update the wip playlists on the official account every so often— not sure, I haven’t thought about it too much yet hehe

On the subject of the Challenge! - I am playing in Extended Mode, several moons ahead so i can plan events and lore - Loner Challenge Start (only the kittens available at clan creating, deleted the rest) - If shit happens, it happens. I do my best to not edit stuff unless needed (or I panick- it only happened twice, okay-)

On the subject of the Universe itself! - There is a whole universe activelly happening in the background and they will have direct effect on our main cats, but we will be following the story mostly from a Cloverclan POV - Ocasionally I may branch into side stories to provide lore (usually called Backstory Unlockeds or other projects - Although this is still warrior cats, this is VERY modified in terms of culture, traditions, groups and stuff like that. I love worldbuilding more than the Erins could ever, so I took it and ran with it. Expect to see stuff with name changes or just different and all that. I particularly love creating myths hehe

just a lil update to say that i'll be moving soon, so over the next 2–3 weeks i'll be quite busy and won't be able to post a lot a lot (not that i usually post that much but i do try!)

now that many panel shows are wrapping up their seasons, it's not too much to keep up with the masterpost or anything, so i'll definitely keep that chugging, but gifs might be a little slow :') i have a few requests i'll work on, and it's fine to send those in; plus, i said i'd be making BIG gifsets for the recent taskmaster contestants and i'm definitely working on those! i wanna do a good job so taking my time :)

Hello hello, current and future Oracle's Enclave members! I have decided to run this account like a newspaper with daily posts, most of which have themes! Sundays are news, so we'll be covering anything new within the server! There isn't a lot today, so don't get way too comfortable.

Current Events (literally)

Our current event is a masquerade murder mystery, OoooOoOoOo! Unfortunately, the event is coming to a close, our three teams named after courtiers Vlastomil, Vulgora, and Volta will receive their final clue to solve the mystery tonight at 4 PM CDT! The event is no longer open to new members, but more events are to come very soon! Other Information

Um... well, I told you that we didn't have many shiny new things on the server! Although, we might if you join, hehe ;)! As per usual, all of our channels are as active as ever, both ooc and in-character channels! Julian has not been told that he is loved in his ask channel thus far, however. Sigh... they hate my character sooo much (it is actually quite the opposite)!

Well, that's a wrap, folks! It's been, quite literally, an eventful week, considering our first server-wide roleplay event was held! Let's hope this one is just as fun! Although, we really need a break from all the puzzles. ...Especially poor team Vlastomil! (I can say that, I was put on that team!)

When I was really active in a fandom for a musician, many pals who took photos at gigs lamented how often they saw their stuff yoinked without credit and put on twitter, pinterest, tumblr 😔 It can be hella demoralizing, especially for pro photographers who take a ton of time editing and crafting a shot 📸 so the least I can do as a mere insta searcher is link and credit!! 🔎✨ plus, then folks can go check out a photographer's other work! (also thank you for your ask since two of the posts this morning didn't have the instas in the source part, just the name!! Gotta go add those!) the only time I hesitate is when I want to be mindful of someone's privacy 😶‍🌫️ I only share publicly available content, but there's a bit of nervousness if its a smaller, personal instagram account that I'll put this poor person on the spot on tumblr dot org dot net just for happening to having a hot Max selfie in the RBR HQ location tag ahhhhhhhh I probs should get over this worry and add the account name for best practices tho!! 🫡 Ahhhh I always worry tho! Another year has come to an end!! To everyone who has supported me in 2023, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart💜

Looooong letter under the cut!

In preparation for writing this, I looked back at the letters I wrote last year, both the one I wrote for myself and the one that I shared here. In a way there isn't too much that's changed. The negative points were almost astoundingly similar. At this point 2023 feels like a repeat of 2022, just in a slightly different font.

I was still able to achieve a few things however! Things like finally releasing shortform content, a slightly impromptu collab, releasing my first wallpaper, and making smaller improvements to the stream and community!! I've also been able to make a lot of great friends this year, and I hope to get to know them all more in the months to come💜

On a personal note, I finally took some time out from my irl responsibilities to recover from the burnout that had been bearing down on me for a long while. After a month's rest, I think I've realized this will be a longer journey than I thought. There are a lot of things I have yet to learn about taking care of myself and my mental health, and I intend to spend the next year really focusing on how to build better systems for the long-term.

Because of the above, there are many things I didn't get to do in 2023. I have a lot of ideas rattling around in my little brain!! (Sometimes to the point it's hard to sleep for thinking too much.) I'm excited to take those unfinished projects into 2024 and hope to make them a reality. Even if they end up being one off projects, I want to try new things in the coming year and share them with you all!

Maybe this isn't something to share on a post like this, but since writing my letter last year, I've been considering how long I'll be able to continue this for. Most likely, I'll graduate after my 5th year anniversary (September 2025). I think 5 years is a significant amount of time to put into something, and being the type of person that I am who wants to try different things, it will be time to move on to something else.

Of course, I'm not heavily enforcing this, life can be unpredictable and that day could come up sooner (or later even). But, for now this is my plan. I've debated voicing this out loud especially with how far away it is, but I realized I would feel bad if I had just been sitting on this information for 3 years and didn't tell anyone.

I want everyone to know that the reason I'm setting this timeline isn't because I'm not enjoying being a vtuber. I really do enjoy everything from chill streams, to random ppts, to just hanging out in discord. But I also know that the phrase "all good things come to an end" ultimately rings true, and I want that to happen on my own terms as much as possible. Anyway, that date is still a verrrrrry long way away!! And if I'm being honest, I want a lot of people to come celebrate (and cry) when I graduate, so until then I need to work very hard to reel in as many folks as possible hehe. If you're reading this right now, please help me make that happen, okay?!! Now I feel like I've gone told you all my secrets again. Thank you so so much for putting up with me over the past year and all the time before that as well!

fjord: he’s a trans man. and finally learning to be comfy in his body after a Lot of dysphoria.. the extra muscle the wildmother gave him (and fantasy top surgery she gave him too) rly helped so much, as well as just kinda observing cad (and the rest of tmn too) being weird and gendery (maybe they talked about it ;w;).. he learned that he doesn’t have to force himself to perform what he viewed as masculinity.. he can be soft

(she/her). she’s rly quite comfy in her body (she gets a bit uncomfy sometimes) and rly loves feminine clothes and pink and she’s just vibing in her fun strange way. she’s also openly presented as a girl p much her whole life so she’s pretty settled in .. marion supported her so much :’3

Weekly Update for 27 March, 2023

Howdy, folks! Welcome to the last update of March! Time really has flown, jesus-

Mind Games: Trepidation

Onto our favorite subject! If you guys haven't seen, there have been multiple edits pushed for mostly Chapter 1 and 2 this week! These edits have added new options to some dialogue choices, some customisation choices, and some variation to certain spots where I saw I favored sarcastic MCs over others. There have been a couple of grammar fixes pushed in Chapter 3, 4, and 5, but I have not done a more thorough editing of those chapters; after putting in some achievements, my brain kinda just. Flat-lined and needed a break, lol!

I have gotten LOADS done on Chapter 6! I am actually in Scene 3/4 for the rough draft, with about half of Scene 3's rough draft completed. Again, the rough draft is just me going through and picking one option for each branch and getting through the story so I know where it'll go when I go back to flesh it out! However, that's still a LOT of progress!!! The whole chapter is at about 5,600 words, and before doing the update I had started editing Scene 1 for a bit to start fleshing out so it's not so much work later.

A few things with MG:T:

In case you aren't aware, MG:T is only expected to be 9 Chapters, NOT including Interludes and the Epilogue. We are over 50% done with the game! VERY EXCITING!!! (Especially as I am ITCHING to get to book 2, lol!)

Chapter 6 is expected to be out in April. I will be releasing it in full as I'm expecting it to be a small to average size chapter.

I am always open to feedback and suggestions! Honestly, I would REALLY LOVE for you folks to tell me where you think improvements could be made or where you'd like to see more choices/what kind of choices you want to see more of. Be the change you want to see, lol!!

Remember: Every time an update is pushed, your saves will be corrupted! I try to push things all at once, but I never know how much I'll get done at any one time so sometimes I push smaller updates over a course of a day. If you aren't seeing anything new, it might be because your save is before the update was pushed!

I am still checking this Google Form! I am considering making one that is all about feedback and suggestions, and I DO check the one that's listed there daily! I actually have an active list of suggestions and stuff people have given me, and I do try to take the stuff you guys tell me needs fixing and put those fixes into the game!! Those of you who have answered the feedback section have been amazingly helpful and I appreciate it so much!!!

In case you missed it, I do have a page up now that has a list of all the free scenarios I've posted in the past and present, at least, the ones I could find! It also has a list of sneak peeks from Patreon I've posted! Some of them are a bit outdated as they're from, like, when I first started writing the game back in 2018-2019, but they're still enjoyable!

There is a poll up on Patreon right now that ends in 2 weeks! It's letting Patrons vote for which RO(s) will 100% be featured in April's scenarios for Patreon, and as a special treat, one of the 2 chosen ROs will be available to the lower tier as well! And, the lower tier can always vote in polls. The tier prices are $3 and $10, with $3 opening up polls, a sneak peek, discord benefits, weekly update+ content, and credits mentions (I will be putting every Patron I've had in the past in the credits of the game(s) they were supporting me during development!), with occasional monthly bonuses. The $10 tier opens up EVERYTHING I have, and everything that gets posted monthly!

These, like most sketches I do relating to the enby werewolf book, get seen by folks in the discord server first! I don't feel as compelled to polish and make my work "presentable" for public viewing when I post in there, so there's way more Kass content to see off social media. But I wanted to share this and let yall know I'm still kicking and working on this book's development, even if the drafting has largely been stalled by Chaotic Life Stuff.

And I also just wanted to beef up the enby werewolf tag a bit more. That hugging scene is pretty significant in the book hehe, for those who know, you know.

The discord is absolutely chock full of spoilers because I have no filter when I ramble so it's entirely fair if folks wanna avoid it until I can claw some goddamn words out of my brain and put this story out in public one day :)

Hi Miss Morgue! i just read your reply about ghost writers (not the same anon btw) and i think this might serve you. Rn i'm helping a friend with a really big fanfic, and what we do is not so much proper beta as it is just talking it. We open discord, she tells me the last thing she wrote, and we start exchanging ideas like rain, so she tells me an scenario, i ask her "what does he do!" and she tells me, and i tell her "and what if x character felt x way because of x thing" and she's like "yes! and reacts like this! and that puts this other thing in motion" and is so interesting and fun to do because after the rain of ideas she's super inspired and writes a lot! You could try it! is a very fun creative process because also serves to connect plot points!

Problem is when you write what I write, not many people really wanna talk about it. It takes a very specific brand of person to be super chill delving deep into the content of my stories-- if you can call them stories. They're usually just pure, rotten, filthy smut hehe. I very much love those people because they help infinitely and give me amazing ideas for my drivel.

I bounce ideas off of my mate and my sister but for the most part, I'm like one of those people who sits in a cement room bouncing a tennis balls off the wall back out myself. I don't know a whole lot of people who have my... sexual tastes, which to be fair only get worse with time.

I don't talk about my writing a whole lot anymore, mainly because my foremost interests are OCs now, but I still do appreciate those who do talk to me! I'd love to post more consistently but hey, it is what it is!
